The first time I felt truly uncomfortable. Inspired by the consistently positive reviews, we checked out Café Table for breakfast. Inside, I found the interior to be exactly what I imagine a run-down alternative café to look like. The seating was a junk shop, all sorts of thrown together, no concept, uncomfortable, and dingy to boot. We sat at the top of the counter, which looked like someone hadn't bothered to keep it even slightly clean. We ordered two slices of toast with different contents, which took forever. Visually appealing, but taste-wise, two slices of toast with no flavor at all. The cheese and ham were completely unnoticeable. Hey, we're in Holland, there needs to be cheese on it to make your mouth water... But unfortunately, there's nothing there, as always, cheap ingredients and high prices 🤬 I don't think the price-performance ratio is justified.

Coffee is fine, not particularly tasty. Chairs and tables on the terrace are too close together. They should offer 1 less table outside.

Just got an iced coffee for almost 7 euros. No lids? Can't you report that in advance? Almost no caramel. I found it really disappointing... I left it alone. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to this.

Went to the Coffee Table this week. Ordered mint tea and it had all kinds of bugs in it, the waitress could have seen that. Received dirty cutlery at lunch. If you order a Carpaccio sandwich, I get a Caprese sandwich. The incompetence is truly unbelievable.

Coffee was tasty. Flat white was more of a double cappuccino than a flat white, but the taste was good. Tarts were tasty. The interior could certainly use more attention, very austere, not really inviting.

I come here regularly now and every time they have made a delicious smoothie. Always with fresh stuff. (Unfortunately it seems as if the glasses have become smaller?) The cake is also homemade and tastes delicious. Girlfriend loved it too. Ordered a yogurt special last time. Well, I really enjoyed that one. You can also have lunch here. You understand, I come there more and more often. ❤

Unfortunately it was not what we expected. A pathetic piece of carrot cake, a latte macchiato with way too much foam and an iced coffee with no flavor even after a few extra shots of coffee. I was given an explanation about the iced coffee, but you cannot confirm it as an iced coffee from a large chain. Staff friendly.

Delicious coffee and cakes in Zeist, a fantastic idea to integrate people again, cake shop next door much too tasty to just walk past.

Good coffee, perhaps the best in Zeist. 5 stars. But then the ambiance: from the opening on, the atmosphere inside is like being in a coffee warehouse: little light, jute bags on the ceiling, old school chairs. No plants, color or warmth. That really needs to be improved. There is a display case with sweets. Rear toilet with sliding door. Front door wheelchair accessible. When the weather is nice you can sit outside.

Great service! I accidentally knocked over my coffee and got free and new ones! Thank goodness, because the coffee is very tasty! Good to know; a vegan cup of coffee is no problem. They also use oat milk. Next time I'll try the Vegan sandwich on the menu!

The cappuccino was tasty, but you would expect the long drink glass to be more like a latte. We strongly prefer a nice large cup with saucer.

To me, a sandwich is a sandwich. I don't ask for a salad garnish that is completely ruined by a stream of mayonnaise-like dressing and then two containers of other sauce. Cheese had no taste, bread was soggy

I've been wanting to go here for a while. Unfortunately it was disappointing. There were four of us and we tasted all the cakes, but were not impressed.

They have delicious chocolate milk. I would definitely go there again. The service is also worth 5 stars. They are really super customer friendly! Definitely go there, you won't be disappointed!

The coffee is good, I think the service is less so. For me 2 stars, but that is a personal choice. Come along and let your feelings speak.

High Tea has the name, but you really should do a *tasting* here! Delicious homemade pastries, tasty coffee and tea and a casual appearance. Nicest staff. There is also a cozy outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the shade in the summer.

Very tasty capuchino. 👍 Friendly staff. Salmon sandwich could have had less bread and more salmon, the taste was also not that well balanced. The sandwich smelled too much of vinegar (because of the capers).

Poor hygiene, eating in the kitchen, lots of chatting about friends, wobbly tables, overpriced drinks and sandwiches. Shame.

The service was a bit poor, possibly because it was very busy (took a long time for them to come to answer and even longer to bring the drinks, forgot to bring honey for example). Both the coffee and tea are really good.

Quite cozy despite the dark location inside and outside...but...shade is healthier than in full sun! Personal, quiet atmosphere that can come across as somewhat disinterested. The home-baked cakes by a lady from Zeist are very tasty.

Lovely place for breakfast or lunch! You won't get an ordinary piece of toast ("tosti") here, the dishes are nicely plated and delicious. Cappuccino is great too, especially with soy milk.
