The 2 In 1 - De Nieuwe Bakkerij on the Zeestraat in Volendam is without a doubt the best bakery in - to be honest - the Netherlands! Bread is of excellent quality, e.g. pan white or Tuscany bread, bran bread or sunflower seed bread. Of course, there are also all kinds of cookies, such as the tasty peanut cookies, many packs of which have been eaten here, uhh... And flipping of course. Ice cream is sold on the right side of the store. The ladies are always cordial and service-oriented, even to 'jackets' like me. Would love to come there, every year!

Late Saturday afternoon they didn't have much left, but what they did have were delicious sandwiches.

The best stroopwhafels at a great price compared to other places. 100% recommended.

Egg cakes are the best, that's where I always buy egg cakes and Kwakbol.
