Bexcy: Deceptive Practices and Poor Value for Money I've never been to Bexcy, but their way of handling reviews is downright misleading. The new location (on the Eglantier) received many negative reviews due to its poor value for money and chaotic, unfinished appearance - some reviews even described it as a construction site. Instead of taking this criticism seriously and improving it, they have chosen to simply swap the names and addresses of their previous closed location (on Mercatorplein) in Google (so the real reviews from people who have eaten there can now be found there). This makes it seem as if the new location has better reviews than is actually the case. This is also why the reviews are no more recent now than they were 8 months ago. Finally, they also allow positive reviews from friends and family. As if that wasn't bad enough, they also ignore privacy legislation. Their security cameras film the entire shopping street, without any attention to the rules surrounding privacy. They have been approached for this by the Dutch Data Protection Authority, but nothing is done about it. This raises serious questions about how they interact with both customers and passers-by. A restaurant that deals with transparency and honesty in this way does not deserve trust. Instead of manipulating their image, they should invest in quality and service.

Very bad really never go here again very amaturistic.

Sat for 1.5 hours, but tried to order 2 rounds. Unfortunately, several dishes were missing from both rounds. Also, many dishes were out of stock. flavors were also very disappointing. When indicating that something was wrong, staff became aggressive and started shouting. also wanted to charge full price, although we really wanted to leave after 1.5 hours of 2 complete rounds. In short, we will never come back

The food is not very fantastic (certainly not bad either). A bit cold inside and the music is a bit loud. It doesn't sound very positive, you might say, but you still leave here with a big smile. This is mainly due to the goodwill factor. The lady who works there is really super friendly and hospitable. And looking at the price/quality ratio (soft drinks are even included), it is fine.

We actually arrived too late. 2 hours all you can eat tapas for 38.50 incl drinks. Until 21:00. However, due to circumstances we only arrived at 19:50. No problem said the owner. All dishes were delicious. Could order all dishes until 22:00. The owner came by regularly to have a chat. He enthusiastically told about the company and the dishes. Thank you for the hospitality, the service and the delicious food.

So bad, it's more closed than open. Twice now in front of a closed door. No, it's time for action.

After a thorough renovation, the restaurant is a nice addition to the hospitality industry in this area. Delicious fresh food, some dishes are familiar and others are a wonderful surprise. We had a fantastic meal and enjoyed the care and hospitality of the lovely staff.

Unfortunately a bad experience. Service did its best, but the atmosphere and quality of food is not in proportion to the price. The food was overcooked, too salty, not fresh and did not look appetizing. Laughed a lot...

Haven't eaten this bad in a long time, dry meat, overcooked. What was in the containers was lukewarm and very over-cooked. Messy and disorganised. Bottles and jars of mayonnaise and papers everywhere in the toilet, with food. Very unprofessional . Not a fun night out. It is also not all you can eat, 3 rounds to choose 2 dishes with little variety. Buffet as said before not good. A waste of money and what is even worse, we all feel nauseous. If this continues, I will contact the inspection service. The boy serving did his utmost but was clearly unable to cope with the reactions of the bad food.

Hele slechte ervaring. Ze kunnen het niet aan. Voor je aan de tapas wilt beginnen moet je eerst van het "buffet" nemen. Dan bestel je wat dan komt na 25 min ook nog niet het goede. De frites worden vergeten. De 2de bestelling opgegeven 45 min gewacht, niets gekregen. Toen maar opgestapt. Net als wij stapten verschillende tafels boos op. Via social deal gereserveert, is het geld niet waard. 👎

I'll be honest. When I entered the restaurant I never imagined how good it would be. We started with the kitchen staff, they are friendly and the food they cook for me is the best I have had in a year, I tried everything and with every dish that entered my mouth I got a different culinary experience. I'm Latino and food is something I enjoy and I can say it's authentic Latin American food. then the owner of the place or the receptionist, an incredible person, the attention was 10/10, as was the food. He is an honest, happy and very kind person. Both me and my partner believe it was one of the best experiences in a restaurant, both in terms of service and the food we received. everything great

Delicious chicken curry sandwich

We didn't expect this when you came in. Delicious food!!! The stuffed chicken delicious, the homemade sauce with the sandwiches. The soup and wine sauce, etc., etc. We came for dinner with 3 and the food was great. Price quality very good!

The lady at the counter did not have much insight into the starter's soup bowl that was still on the table when paying. When asked about the red wine, she came to see the two bottles. We did not think the quality in relation to the price was entirely up to par. ratio .

OMG ordered takeaway spareribs, sirloin steak and chicken wrap. All with salad and fries. Meat was unacceptable and the cook should be fired. Burnt and dry spareribs and dry and flavourless steak. The only good thing was my daughters wrap and the patatoe wedgies. Sorry, but you lost us as customers.

Great restaurant in a shopping center. Clean, cozy decor. Friendliest service and food is good. In the photos paella with fish and lime chicken. We would love to come back again.

On our way home we stopped in Apeldoorn to eat. We came across Restautant Becxy via the internet. We were welcomed hospitably and friendly. The food is all fresh and made with care and very tasty. It was great. If we are in the area again we will definitely eat here again.

I recently enjoyed high tea with friends. It was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, really perfect for a relaxing afternoon out

The roti chicken was tasty. Not too spicy. I was there on Monday early evening. Very quiet, but I didn't expect anything different on Monday.

Delicious tapas and hot chicken sandwich.

We only had a cup of coffee here with a piece of apple pie. The latter came from the freezer and was partly very warm and partly still cold. Friendly in itself. Give it to people because it is such a nice place to relax. Not an overly busy shopping center where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch or something more in peace. Free parking.

Becxy took care of the catering at our home on my birthday. They all did this in close consultation, taking allergies and intolerances into account. They provided the food as well as plates and cutlery. Afterwards they came to pick everything up again. Very well organised, great service, very tasty food prepared with attention and love. Very satisfied!

Ate here with family today. Compliments to the chef! Delicious food, deliciously prepared chicken skewers. Atmosphere is fine.

My mother and I ate grilled cheese and drank latte machiato here. The sandwich could be much better, it was not placed on the grill long enough, the bread was still white instead of golden brown. The bread you make could also be better and we also got 1 little bit of ketchup, barely enough for the sandwich, and it also missed the topping that is normally included when you eat a sandwich somewhere!! And for the price you pay for a sandwich, you can expect something from it, I think. When we were served the sandwich, we didn't even receive a napkin, so we had to ask a lady who works for you or perhaps is the owner, she could also take a course in customer friendliness!! We will not return to this restaurant!!

One of the few places open on Sunday evenings in Apeldoorn. You will receive a warm welcome even half an hour before closing time and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is not culinary delights, but it is of good quality. Personal wishes outside the menu are offered without obligation, everything is possible and allowed.

Fantastic food, everything is made fresh so there is a bit of waiting time and it's absolutely worth it. The location is easy to reach especially as a tourist and the friendly wait-staff makes you feel at home with a lovely atmosphere. The owner is the chef too so it is nice to be able to meet her and converse. Highly reccommend!

I came here from a foreign land with zero knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. I saw it was new and in a nice neighbourhood with free parking. I went inside and met the owner and her parents who were very friendly and welcoming. I placed an order for fish milanesas, an Argentinian dish, which came after a bit of a wait as it was being made and fresh and when it came it looked and smelled so good like home cooked food. So good even that I could not wait for it to cool down and kept burning my mouth hahaha, now that I am here in The Netherlands for some time I will for sure be coming again.

Food is freshly made, lots of choice because the chef can make everything right. Therefore, preferably let us know what you want to eat via the app the day before. Good super customer-friendly service, if you let us know in advance the food will arrive a little faster, otherwise you will have to wait a little longer. New restaurant, so clean new interior.

The food was outstandingly amazing! Am from Venezuela and I can guarantee their flavours will take anyone to the very origin of our food. On top of that they’re super friendly, wonderful experience and undoubtedly a regular from now on! Don’t hesitate!

Very beautiful and stylish restaurant! Hertog Jan on tap and a nice extensive menu for very reasonable prices! I would say: don't wait too long! Then you know what you're missing.
