Burgers are fine, a bit warmer would have been better.

A 45-minute wait, two regular menus, one of which took 6 minutes to grill (Veggie Big King XXL), and one children's menu. Note: priorities were reversed and the preparation strategies were incorrect.

Delicious food! The food was fresh and well-prepared, the service friendly and fast. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and clean. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves a good burger!

This Burger King should be closed immediately. Customers are not helped, only through the display. A burger with just sauce is simply not an option. The tables are filthy, there's no management, and the wait times are ridiculously long. The staff is clueless and rude.

I also got a cold/lukewarm hamburger, but not because it was busy. The first time I pointed it out, she said it had just been freshly made, but that she was making a new one. That one was just as lukewarm, so apparently they just come straight from the kitchen here, so I just ate it. The service was friendly otherwise.

It was quite busy and we had to wait a long time, which we understand. The benches were covered in a rancid plastic covering, the worst I've ever seen, despite having traveled all over Europe since 1989. And those were bad years in Eastern Europe. Absolutely filthy.

Always fast service and delicious food at Burger King Apeldoorn – above expectations!

Way too busy, understaffed (given the current situation, they can't do anything about that, can they?). The drive-thru has also been closed for quite some time, and they close way too early, already at 8 PM. Edit: Still strange opening hours, hence only 1 star. This is really outdated, closing at 8 PM. I recently got a Whopper meal there, drove back less than 10 minutes, and everything was cold. I had to heat it up in the microwave, yuck.

At the drive-through, I had to wait 30 minutes for 9 cheese nuggets and 9 chicken nuggets. Do they have to turn on the deep fryer or something? Absolutely ridiculous.

The food quality was really good, fresh and tasty! The place was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly. Great experience overall!

The food is like regular fast food, but you can hardly call it fast food. We waited at the drive-thru like in a restaurant for a normal dish. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order, and then another 20 for the order itself. The service is very bad, especially at the drive-thru. Also, the drive-thru looks like a prison.

The service is really, really bad. The order was taken by the machine for a really long time. They cooked it like it was in a restaurant (20 minutes)!!! I'll never go there again. This isn't fast food.

Burger was delicious... less deposit on returning cup

I just stood in line for an hour with screaming children everywhere and didn't get any food. The food had been ready for fifteen minutes, but I hadn't arrived when they whispered the number. I went to make it again, but after waiting 30 minutes, I asked for my money back. I wouldn't eat here anytime soon when it's busy!

Poor service, cold food after returning several times and a long wait. We waited almost an hour for two burgers, chicken nuggets, and three fries. When we finally picked up our order, the burgers were cold, and the jalapeños we'd ordered were missing from the fries. We went back, waited a long time, and received cold burgers again, new fries, again without the jalapeño. We went back three times and finally settled for a half-baked burger, but it was a different kind than the one we originally ordered. They took a random burger from the card, tore off the sticker, and gave it to us. However, we weren't the only ones returning; almost everyone went back to report an order error or cold food.

It takes ages for your food to arrive, you've received cold burgers twice, and the manager casually says it's impossible even though colleagues had already confirmed it. It's poorly organized, and even at the lowest volume, it grinds to a halt with up to 32 (!) waiting orders. The manager refuses to help her colleagues, burying her head in the sand and disappearing into the background, leaving the others to sort things out.

I was last there two months ago, and it's still the same; nothing has changed. The staff is still slow, surly, and unmotivated, and you have to wait an hour for a menu. Burger King Netherlands, you need to do something about this!

You can always enjoy good food and I think it is always ready quickly, no matter how busy it is.

Today we had to wait almost half an hour for our order, which we placed at the vending machine. There was a €4 deposit on paper cups. The staff looked anything but motivated. One employee was wearing long sleeves. I find that absolutely disgusting. The sandwiches and fries were cold. And it all looks a bit grimy. Never again!!!

Ordered via drive-thru. Friendly staff. I had to wait a bit in the small parking space at the drive-thru, but my food arrived in a reasonable time. Excellent.

That's awful. I'm not going there again. The kids wanted a Whopper and fries. And my son wanted chicken nuggets. Well, I think the salt shaker was emptied. A ridiculous amount of salt. The Whopper barely had any lettuce and onion, and very little mayonnaise. We both got sick after having a Whopper. Nauseous, almost threw up, and still had stomach and intestinal problems a day later. Never again for me. The hassle of getting a refund for the cup.

20 minutes of waiting, food is too bad to write about.

The food has been ready for ages. A sandwich and a cup of Fanta. The wait was just fifteen minutes. I completely understand all the negative reviews. I tried this Burger King once, but never again. And not to mention, if you want sauce, you have to pay a 5-cent surcharge.

We had two menus. We had to wait five minutes for them, which isn't long. It's a shame it was cold and we left hungry. €27, but there was nothing on our tray. The fries looked like they came from a playpen. The tables were dirty, and the soft drinks were strewn across the floor. My shoes were also damaged... And I won't go into too much detail about the staff's enthusiasm. That says it all...

That's definitely delicious. But they're limited by their staff. I've been waiting at home for an hour and a half. It's not normal. I don't think they can deliver today.

Orders often don't go well and the drive is often closed

This Burger King was really in need of a makeover! The upholstery on the benches was almost completely torn. That's why it looks really dirty. But it was all reasonably clean!

What the hell happened to the nuggets, the people who work there are so rude they say don't eat, enjoy, and there is no smile on their face and they just walk away. The other day I asked if I could have 2 sugar packets with it, the manager said nothing and just threw it at me.

Ordered two ice creams from the kiosk. Paid. The ice cream machine was broken. They offered drinks. No, I want my money back. €6.50. Difficult, difficult. After a lot of hassle, I got my money back. I'll never come here again!

Bad service, unfriendly staff, food takes a long time

The drive-thru was a terrible experience... You can't call it fast food anymore. A very long wait for low-quality food at a premium price.

A true fast-food adventure in Apeldoorn! The self-service machine decided to blow my receipt up in smoke—probably part of the new environmental policy. The wait was a bit longer, but hey, patience is a virtue… unlike the restrooms, which spontaneously decided to transform themselves into an indoor swimming pool. The staff's reaction ("we know, there's nothing we can do about it") left me with a warm, helpless feeling. The benches looked like they'd survived a few generations of Whopper eaters, the leatherette completely scraped off—a kind of retro interior design, I suspect. The highlight: the deposit machine, which accepted one cup and flatly refused the other, as if it personally disliked me. And yes, around that same machine, the local fly colony had happily settled near the overflowing ice cream container. The food itself? Fine, as you might expect—too bad the rest of the experience felt more like a hygiene-themed escape room.

August 14, 2025 16:00h - It does not happen often that I place a bad review, but the only thing good about his place is that they actually had everything we ordered straight in the bag on the first try and fast too. Unfortunately here's where thing go wrong: - Upon entry the establishment gave a dirty impression as there were really no clean tables, even though 70% of the tables were vacant. - The toilettes were filthy, with napkins in the urinals and smelling bad. - Then the food. We ordered 5 burgers (2 Whoppers, 1 Big King XXL, 1 Vegan Big King XXL and 1 Grill Master). Fries, Twister fries and some desserts. None of the burgers seemed to have been put together with proper care. Opening the wrappers (parking lot mind you) unveiled molten cheese all over the outside with a load of thick raw onion slices, tomatoes falling out, just a big mess. And the Grill Master was. Grill Disaster. Wrapping it in a neat box didn't help their flag ship burger (price wise). Sauce all over the place, juices dripping out and soaking the bun and some kind of caramalised onion that didn't at all matched or complemented the flavor of the BBQ sauce. It never happens, but I didn't finish this burger and tossed it where it belonged (bin). The veggie Big King also had some strange flavor, not at all matching the original Big King. This burger also did not get consumed all the way. All in all it was our worst BK visit ever. Not going back here.

Ordering ice cream for dessert also meant waiting over half an hour. And here again, the deposit issue. 5. Employees standing around doing nothing at the cash register. Because they process orders by number. 6. Dirty tables. 7. Overflowing trash bins. Never again for us!!!

Delicious, fresh! It's clear the restaurant doesn't have the financial resources for renovations, but the problem is clear from the comments and the number of employees. Even though there aren't many of them, they do a great job.

Better than McDonald's and you won't feel hungry anymore.

There wasn't much to order because everything was gone. For example, there was only black coffee with a deposit, and the ice cream was also gone. There was no staff member to take orders. The tables were very dirty. We went to the Intratuin restaurant, which was great!

It was super dirty and the drive through employee doesn't speak a word of Dutch. Sitting eating and drinking while working and the food took a long time to be ready. I had 1 burger and 1 milkshake and had to wait half an hour

They refused to make the drinks without ice, dirty tables, fries too salty, burger not delicious. I paid almost 20€ for a menu. Loud music. Overall a bad experience and will not come here again

There was a lot on it. No mayonnaise, no deposit cup (which we had paid for), wrong water and no apple juice. All this without a story and any explanation. The fries were also way too salty and the upholstery of the furniture was almost completely gone. Plus point for the 2 extra chicken nuggets we had received. Minus point for the grumpy lady behind the counter and another minus point for the dirty tables.

Unfortunately I didn't like the atmosphere. The upholstery of the benches is really worn out, I really need to put new upholstery on it. The building is just a block of concrete, no charisma.

Long wait for an order that was incorrect and incomplete. Staff is rude and does not understand Dutch or English, so there is almost no way to indicate what is wrong. Eventually the manager was called to fix a simple order that also had to be in English. Once but never again....

40 minutes between ordering and eating is not fast food

Long wait, there were 12 people waiting in front of you...the employees were more busy with themselves than with the orders. After a long wait it was still cold. No, I haven't been seen there again.

Restaurant looks dirty inside, benches are broken and tables are dirty. Receipt machine does not work properly. Also I do not get the choice to choose whether I want a deposit cup or choose a paper disposable cup.

I've rarely waited this long for my food at a Burger King. How can you do that? It takes 20 minutes for three meals, and then they're all served cold. At least the veggie patties are still amazingly good.

Veggie nuggets fine, But the Twisters, the largest bag here is the smallest bag compared to McDonalds, and that must represent the largest portion here. Outrageous for €6.95. So don't buy!

Paar keer voor dichte deur gestaan. Soms vreselijk druk en chaotisch (zelfs tot 40 minuten wachten op eten). Kwaliteit matig. Personeel lijkt ongeinteressert. Dat het niet zo hoeft te zijn bewijzen andere vestigingen van Burger King. WIj komen hier in ieder geval niet terug.

Not pleasant Expensive and not that warm

It was very quiet (3 customers in total) so you would think you had enough time to clean, but several tables were full of crumbs and benches with torn upholstery.
