Perhaps the worst food I have ever ordered. Paid nearly 30 euros for lukewarm spareribs (which were also inedible) and soggy fries...

NEVER order here! On Sunday evening, July 26, we ordered a two-person spareribs menu via Thuisbezorgd; this cost over 40 euros. After opening our order, we discovered that we had received the wrong order. 1 chicken burger, loaded fries, and a separate portion of fries. We contacted the restaurant, expecting that we would still receive the correct order... however, nothing has been delivered and we are not getting our money back either. I do not recommend anyone ordering here; we feel ripped off.

I think the spareribs were just from Albert Heijn! This is such a shame.

Ouch... this place doesn't live up to its name. Boiled ribs with sweet sauce, cold... EXPENSIVE!... and in a cardboard box. NEVER AGAIN.

Nothing delivered via Thuisbezorgd

I ordered spare ribs, fries, and ice cream, but only received the spare ribs and the wrong ice cream. I immediately called the store, but they didn't answer. I also emailed them, but no response. Waste of money.

Truly awful! The food is normally delicious, but I placed an order on November 10, 2025, and never received it because they were closed (it wasn't indicated on your website). It's now December 4, 2025, almost a month later. The money hasn't been refunded, and I've never received the food. Every time I call or visit, they say I'll get it refunded within three business days. It's nice to hear about it, but do it! And yes, even sending an email gets no response! How can you treat your customers this way? Once I get my money back, I'll never get it back!

Very bad. The delivery person was friendly! I ordered a Coke but got Fanta. The delivery person wanted to make a call, but I didn't feel the need to. The spareribs were very dry and had a weird taste. The fries were cold and soggy. The baguette didn't even look like it had been in the oven. And the herb butter was missing. All in all, for 34 euros, I will never do this again.

I gave it another chance yesterday. But the order didn't arrive until well over 1.5 hours later. Only when I called to ask where it was did they "suddenly" start on their way. The ribs were lukewarm, just like the rest. It also felt like the marinade was a bit watery and had been poured over them, as it was mostly inside the box instead of on the ribs. Part of the order was delivered incorrectly. But then again, you can't get hold of them by phone anymore. In short! If you want to eat within a reasonable timeframe, don't order here. Just as if you want hot food... don't order here either.

We ordered at 5:25 PM, and they finally arrived at 6:45 PM. It wasn't a difficult order: three menus and two extra burgers. One burger was BBQ bacon, but it was delivered without the bacon! The fries were cold! NEVER again with this rib company! Because you pay 90 euros for an order like that! Unfortunately, I expected more.

The food didn't arrive until after three hours. After we were told it was almost ready, we waited another hour. Then we called again. The employee said it would be leaving in ten minutes. The delivery time was twenty minutes. What they said wasn't right either, because the delivery person appeared another twenty minutes later. The result was poor, cold, and soggy food. The slogan "best ribs in the country" does not fit this experience.

Unfortunately, the expected delivery time of 45 to 60 minutes wasn't met. It took a total of 1.5 hours. When it's busy, it's busy. I can't say too much about that. I would have had to pick it up myself. But an update in the meantime would have been nice. Anyway. The "spare ribs"... I think this was the fourth time we ordered something from here. We got home late, and I still had a discount code. We thought we'd give it another try. They were really delicious this time, but unfortunately, they were anything but. The ribs were lukewarm. One was even cold. We didn't eat that one either. We ate the rest reluctantly out of respect for the pig. The meat was pale, quite dry, and tough. And you really had to pull it off the bone... The meat itself had little flavor either. It had more of a boiled-meat color and flavor than grilled. It also reminded me of the meat on a McDonald's hamburger... The marinade felt like it had been poured on cold. I'm sorry to say, but I think this was the most disappointing spare rib experience we've ever had... This was also the last time we ordered anything from the Ribs Company...

Had it delivered, but this time it had cooled down too much. It was a shame because you could tell the fries were cooked properly. But everything was lukewarm, so I had to eat what I could quickly. The herb butter had become liquid from the heat (separated) and was unusable. The baguette was not good.

Not about Ribs Company Apeldoorn but about Ribs Company Raalte, which cannot be reviewed. Ordered almost 100 euros worth of food for 6 people, after waiting about an hour we get a call that the delivery person has a flat tire. Okay until then. After waiting another half hour we receive an email saying that the order is ready in the store and is coming our way. More than 45 minutes later, the order actually arrived. The delivery person played dumb and knew nothing. We had a good amount of food, but the spare ribs were no longer hot and not warm themselves, just very lukewarm! In addition, the fries we received were really cold and we had to heat them all up in our microwave. We ordered a family box for 2 people! Good portions, but we could have eaten just one portion. Very tasty, good taste. The delivery person was right on time.

Tried to order again after a year, ordered at 0.45 and now 3.00 still nothing, paid, and called 8 times but no one answered, what a mess!!!! Too bad, after ordering a few times and it was really tasty... it went wrong a few days ago... I ordered at 2.15 and paid but nothing came... I waited until 5.00 in the morning but nothing yet, the next afternoon I was called that an order had been placed but that they were already closed so if I still wanted my order delivered, that was okay, but it was not tasty... the spare rib sandwich was wet because of the amount of sauce and no butter with my corn on the cob, called about this but nothing was resolved, bad thing, so no more for me!

Terrible, I ordered last night at a quarter to 1 and didn't get my food until a quarter to 3, two hours later, so if you try to call them, they don't answer. Had the: Large rib BBQ menu delivered tonight with fries and coleslaw. Very tasty and the fries were wonderfully crispy. (That is always difficult with delivery, because it is in a box it often becomes soft) The only downside I think is that the coleslaw was drowning in the sauce, I like something fresh and crunchy next to the meat and this was not that. But keep it up with the ribs they were very tender and delicious! Oh yes, and we also had the onion rings, soft and tasty!

They say it is halal but it was just pork. Called more often and said halal, now called yesterday and a man honestly told us that it is pork! So be careful!!!

Spare ribs were not too fresh, fries tasted strange and baguette was even moldy. Contacted and all they wanted to do was bring a new baguette, which I kindly declined because I didn't want to receive another potentially moldy sandwich. Instead, I wanted part of my money back, but they did not agree to that because it was already partly gone, the communication was also poor as the man on the phone spoke poor Dutch and could not be understood well. I also ordered here last year and it wasn't that tasty either, but I wanted to give them another chance, but I will of course never do that again.

It took over an hour instead of 25 minutes before it was delivered. Not much taste in the food and what you got was very disappointing in terms of price.

The food was really delicious, we only ordered the spicy ribs and got the sweet ones. Could have had a few more Ribs. I only order it infrequently because it is too pricey for me, otherwise I would order more often. 4 stars are only because they were not the spicy ones and I expected more ribs as before.

What a ball tent. When the food is indicated, there is food within 20 to 40 minutes. An hour and a half later, nothing. And when you call you are turned away with, they will be there within fifteen minutes. Which didn't happen either! Nooooooooever again.

If you have a complaint, this restaurant does not want to solve it with you and they ignore you completely. Unfortunately, I now have to take other steps, as I have not received a response after emailing 3 times. Apparently they have no decency here. The staff does not speak Dutch, which means that comments about an order are not listened to and you sometimes even receive wrong orders. Very sad.

I personally really like the burgers from Ribs company...the delivery sometimes takes a bit long, but I think it's definitely worth the wait.

Ordered a family box with extra onion rings and mozzarella sticks... the spare ribs were fine, the fries also good despite the very dark color, but then the baguette was dark brown and hard. And the coleslaw was more sauce than salad. Also the onion rings and mozzarella sticks were not included. Called about this immediately. These would be delivered afterwards. About half an hour later I called again about this because they were not there yet. They would be delivered immediately. After 40 minutes they were still not there. So I called again... The conversation was pushed aside. Called again, it was now said that it would be delivered.... Unfortunately we are still waiting…all in all worthless. So we wait almost 3 hours for an order. How hard can it be. This was once but never again!

Placed an order via home delivery (12-11-2023). Accidentally indicated that I wanted to pay in cash, so I called the restaurant. They indicated that they could take an ATM with them. On home delivery, after half an hour it is indicated that "Ribs company has confirmed that the food will be delivered quickly and should therefore pay attention to the bell", but delivery will only take place 75 minutes after ringing. The delivery lady stands at the door looking disinterested with headphones on her head. She doesn't look at me, gives me my order, says "Enjoy your meal" and leaves. I am trying to indicate that I still have to pay, but I am not being heard due to... the headphone. Food was mediocre, on the cold side and clearly "boil ribs". 2 hours later I receive a call from the delivery lady in question, she wanted to go back in because I had forgotten the ATM. (it concerns an apartment building) I was no longer at that location, but I would like to point out that I did not use an ATM. She asked if this meant that I had not paid and I indicated that this was indeed the case, and that I actually believe that this was her fault and that she should pay the costs. This is not possible and she asks if I can pay with a little bit. I asked to transfer directly to the restaurant, instead of to her personal bank account. I can pay this way, but I think it's a bad thing. I initially wanted to post this review on home delivery, but I accidentally pressed post without being able to type a message, so I'll do it here now.

Ordered food for two families. There is a lot missing from the order. Sauces, herb butter liquid, hot wings were far too black. Fries were very limp and lukewarm. We ordered coleslaw for 6 euros, but it wasn't included either. Tried to call to discuss this but got no answer and were then pushed away. Even if they arrived at 8:50 PM, it didn't arrive until an hour later. Unfortunately the food was seriously substandard, spare ribs had already been eaten and the double cheeseburger turned out to be just a dry snack. Then you think you're having a nice drink, but it turns out to be a sprite. They did charge a deposit for this, but I will never get it back because it is not on the cans. They don't come up with a solution and I'm afraid that I'm both hungry and have lost my money. PEOPLE DO NOT ORDER HERE!!!

Messed up one of the sauces but worse than that had a piece of bone in my spare rib-sandwich!! That together with an insane price for what you get (still hungry after a meal) makes 2 stars a lot (+1 for the friendly courier)

Ordered for the first time, location Ermelo, but they were not the best ribs I have eaten. Spare ribs should (almost) fall off the bone, but that really wasn't the case, a bit tough even. Taste was good, sweat ribs. Fries were warm but limp. Large portions, salad fine, baguette was fine, sauces tasty and delivered within half an hour. Don't think it's worth repeating

Ordered twice in a short time and both orders were missing items, baguette with herb butter, but the baguette was old and the herb butter was liquid...?? Wrong drinks delivered and the chicken burger was 1/2 the size of the bun...! Delivery is fine, but not a 3rd time for me.

Food is great, but management is really retarded. If you call back with a question, the bottom line is that it is too busy and that it cannot be arranged until tomorrow. Definitely order it if you are sure what you want, but if not I would run away. I'll probably order more often anyway

Great ribs, made my time in Apeldoorn a little bit better knowing this place was open ;) Ordered multiple times but once or twice it didn’t feel as fresh as other times, could just be placebo, but something to be noted. Fries and the fresh bread with garlic butter was always a 10/10

Ordered again today from ribscompany Apeldoorn after a long time. Where it was always delicious before, it was now a bit different. The spareribs were not grilled very well and were not very sweetly lacquered. Fries were dark brown and burnt and therefore far from tasty. The chicken fingers were very dry and fried too long. Really not tasty and a waste of money.

Received a well-cared for package of ribs, beautifully and very practically packaged, it was very tasty, but I personally thought the fries were a bit too lukewarm/undercooked, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. I definitely plan to order more often because the ribs themselves were really good.

Such a shame. It used to be a great thing, but recently it has become impossible. Spare ribs seem to be cooked alone, you get a white/light brown rib with some marinade. The fries we ordered were cold and limp. We also ordered at 5:50 PM and wanted to have the food here at 7:00 PM. Unfortunately we didn't get it until after 8:05 PM. After informing us that the fries were inedible, they would send freshly baked fries our way. After this travesty you expect to have the fries quickly. But unfortunately, after waiting 180 minutes for the fries, I still didn't receive anything. To cry.

Very bad experience, I looked for the specific ingredients on the website in advance, but they are not on the site. That's why I called because of an allergy to rule out the possibility that soy was used in the sauce. It was clearly indicated that this is not possible, in the end a child was really sick for 2 days. Then I called again and was told that the sauce contains soy. Spareribs were also ok but 20 minutes late and the coleslaw was not included (we paid for it).

Positively surprised! Very large and delicious crispy roll with juicy chicken. Fries were also fine, not greasy, but the sandwich was so big that I couldn't actually eat any more fries :-)

Very good spareribs!!! Delivery is great!!! Sometimes it can just be a little later, that can be the case everywhere. It remains a human job and, as a Frenchman, I like to eat late in the evening😄 Keep it up 👍👍👍👍
