Friendly staff, the food was good, as always at McDonald's.

The food was good, but there was rubbish on the floor that the employee kept walking over; I am not used to that.

They really do ALWAYS forget something

Burgers were fine, milkshake was a disaster, almost frozen and poorly mixed.

3 ordering machines in a row do not issue a receipt.

It was disappointing; we had to wait almost an hour for the food, half of it was lukewarm, and a burger was missing.

This is a McDonald's with a parking lot. The product came out quickly after I ordered.

We had to wait an incredibly long time, and not just us; there was a whole line. Many cars drove away while we were waiting. Then you order a Chicken 4, you get to the window, and suddenly she says there is no Chicken 4, only Chicken 6… The dark-skinned lady behind the counter is very unfriendly and arrogant; this isn't the first time things have gone wrong with her. Next, I order a hamburger without pickles, and guess what? There are pickles on it. All in all, a very bad McDonald’s.

Waited to long at mcdrive took up to 25 minutes

3 hamburgers, and a small cola, without ice cubes.....the cola was just lukewarm, it tasted bad, and I won't be coming back here again, I'll go to the south instead, they have everything a bit better organized there.

After a night at the hotel, my daughter and I decided to get breakfast last Friday, August 7-8. We had taken a screenshot of what we were going to order. The lady who served us spoke no Dutch and very broken English. She had to ask a colleague for help several times. She also claimed that they did not sell strawberry/banana smoothies. Eventually, things were resolved after more than 10 minutes, and she was otherwise friendly, but this is really unacceptable.

Really slow service, cant even properly communicate with staff

They forgot about my order, I waited for two rolls for 15 minutes and when I went to pick them up myself, I didn't even hear the word sorry, so I'm sorry

For the umpteenth time in a row, we had to wait half an hour in the drive-thru while there were 3 or fewer cars. Staff speaking poor Dutch.

You can't order in Dutch at the drive-thru. Absolutely ridiculous.

Stopped for much-needed coffee, but it wasn't available... so just ate a big meal instead.

5 stars because the woman that was mopping the floors on the morning I was there noticed my earbud on the floor and made the effort to return it to me and I am very very greatful! Thank you, again!

Had a good meal. Went back for missing sauces, fries and dressing, and cutlery with the salad. One toilet less available, and the toilet that was available had no toilet paper. Lots of food scraps on the floor.

Unfortunately, the service was unenthusiastic, and there was a lot of trash lying around outside. Inside, there was only one younger server who occasionally managed a smile and also swept.

Very dirty! Couldn't find a clean table! The men's toilets in particular were very filthy, with dirt on the walls and smelling of urine.

Ordering via the touch screen didn’t provide a receipt, so I had no idea what my queue number was. I only guessed the order was mine because I recognized the items I’d ordered. I ordered two latte macchiatos—one with regular cow’s milk and one with oat milk. When I asked which one was the oat milk, the employee didn’t seem to understand my question. She started reading the order sticker and then quickly pointed to one cup, saying it was the oat milk version. I wasn’t convinced, but I thanked her and left. Unfortunately, once we were on the road, we realized that both drinks had been made with cow’s milk. On top of that, neither drink tasted like a latte macchiato—they were extremely strong, as if they had been made incorrectly. This was a disappointing experience, especially because serving the wrong type of milk can be a serious issue for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions. If there is a next time, I’ll be checking and tasting the drinks before leaving the counter.

Fast food you have to wait an incredibly long time for... 30 minutes for a Happy Meal and a Big Mac. And then a wrong burger in the Happy Meal as well. Peculiar.....

Got some nasty food poisoning here on Monday, July 13, 2026. Thanks, you guys are the best. For me, at least, never McDonald's again, which I would recommend to everyone anyway.

After 30 minutes, I walked to the counter only to find out that they had already "served" it. Unfortunately, they don't get any further than a sorry. Unworthy of McDonald's. Yes, it was a bit busier, but on a Tuesday evening, it doesn't seem likely to me that you should have to wait 45 minutes for your food...

Dirty, trash cans full. There was trash everywhere. The tables were cleaned, though, and the food was fine and served quickly despite the crowds.

Was perfect, food was good and well made, also got it fast. We had our dog with us and we were told he was even allowed to go inside, they even had a dog bowl with water already there, would recommend to anyone passing by!

Title: A lifelong disappointment: McDonald's isn't what it used to be. As painful as it is to realize, the chain I grew up with (founded in 1983, to be precise) has declined enormously in quality over the past few years. There is a classic and brutal form of ‘shrinkflation’ at play — portions are getting smaller and smaller, while prices only continue to rise. What are we left with these days? The size is thinning out: The buns have become noticeably smaller and the burgers seem to have shrunk. Stinginess with basic ingredients: The situation with the pickles is truly pathetic. You barely get one pathetic slice on your entire burger. It seems as if they literally have to cut corners on them. Sloppy preparation: I regularly notice that they throw everything together so quickly that they even forget the simple ketchup. You end up with a bone-dry burger. And for all this cutting back on portions and the decline in quality, they still keep demanding top dollar. Prices are rising, while the food you pay for disappears before your eyes. An absolute disappointment.

Great food, but the sauce packets for on the go in the car are worthless. Do something about that, McDonald's!

For the umpteenth time, the order was incomplete when picking it up! And they don't deliver to Vaassen. You order Chicken Salad and you get it without chicken, and the order only contained 4 items. It's a miracle the sauce is included. We do extra checks at this branch, but now apparently you have to open the salad box completely as well. You ask for compensation for next time (since I paid the full price, and not for the first time). Can't that be noted down! It is time the last employee starts properly checking the order against the receipt. That would prevent so many complaints. Until then, advice: Check all products, open all bags and boxes, and take your time doing so!

It was a clean, tidy McDonald's, fast service, and we got everything we ordered. They could learn a thing or two from this in Enschede.

It literally took 50 minutes through the drive-thru, and there was a short line when I joined. Not fast food, but slow food.

I don't go there very often, but what strikes me every time is that the hygiene lags behind. At any McDonald's, really. It seems like the managers have other priorities these days. Starting with the tables and chairs. Not cleaned properly. Grease stains on tables and shoeprints on chairs often still visible, trash cans that regularly overflow. And the young employees who do just so-so work. There were better times.

Food good as always, but they forgot our order and we had to remind them. They are not cleaning sufficiently, floors and tables full of garbage and rests. Toilets are terrible too. Rats in the parking even, although it is a shared one with other business. Do not go there, Apeldoorn has more MacDonald restaurants.

We received our order at the McDrive without our 6 sauces, with 1 cola missing. Fortunately, we checked at the window immediately due to my girlfriend's previous bad experiences, and we received the missing items right away.

They make so many mistakes here. I ordered a spicy McChicken and then they brought a McChicken instead of a spicy one. I went back and said I ordered a spicy McChicken. And I didn't get any fries sauce either. Please, don't come to McDonald's Apeldoorn!!!

Your food is brought late; I've had it happen multiple times that half of the order is incorrect. Either items are missing or you have a completely different order. You walk to the counter and it takes another 10 minutes before you get a simple Big Mac! Bad, very bad!

The worst McDonald's in Apeldoorn and the surrounding area. Another drive-through order not executed properly. McChicken salad delivered without the chicken, fries sauce became mayonnaise, salad dressing became something else too, and the fish burger became a cheeseburger. Cause: largely the McDrive employee who speaks poor Dutch and applies her own language filter to your order. Which entrepreneur thinks it is a good idea to create a language barrier when placing an order? We will go to Heerde next time.

Stupid opening times only from 7:00

I ordered two McFlurries at the drive-through. I was asked to wait a moment and they would be there in two minutes. I heard something fall near the car in front of me, saying the machine probably wasn't working. They didn't tell me. 25 minutes later, someone came to me with my receipt and the money, without further explanation. Still two stars for the refund, but the communication could use some improvement. The wait times at this place are always incredibly long.

I ordered two menus. The sandwiches were without meat, salad, or sauce, just bread! I tried calling them, but they were unreachable. It's terrible when you come from far away to finally eat and find this!

Scammed. You order three items and then they forget one, how hard can it be? A small milkshake for €3.95?!? Worthless.

My hamburger bun is a brick, the burger under the pickle is gray and the edges are black. Perfect.

No chance, just go through the drive-thru? You'll spend 20 to 25 minutes waiting, only to get the wrong order. Another six minutes of waiting and then having to tell them what I ordered because they couldn't remember. Finally, my food is cold. I tell the employee it's cold. Her answer is, "It's impossible, it just came off the conveyor belt. Have a nice evening..." The speed, service, and quality of the food are truly terrible at this McDonald's.

I have a gluten allergy, so it's great if there are gluten-free rolls. I first went to Apeldoorn Zuid, where they didn't have them at all, but that's my fault for not checking. Then I drove to Noord, where they were supposed to have them, only to be told they were out of stock... so unfortunately, I had to order just overpriced fries and a McFlurry again, too bad.

The store was fantastic, the Christmas atmosphere was super nice and there was a red carpet upon entering, what more could you want?

Update 19-10-2025 Just bought a simple ice cream for €1.85, had to wait 15 minutes on a Sunday morning at 12:00. Nothing has changed since the renovation, service is still lacking. Most orders are incomplete or incorrect. Sit for 30 minutes and watch the pickup desk, customers walk back because something is wrong. On my last visit, six orders were already incorrect. Imagine picking up your order and coming home to find that half of it is missing.

McDonald's Apeldoorn Noord is a clean and modern location with quick service and a fresh atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, even during busy times. The ordering kiosks work well and ensure you can order quickly without waiting in long lines. The seating is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is pleasant for both families and fast eaters. Orders are almost always correct and neatly presented. In short: a reliable and well-organized McDonald's where you can quickly and easily enjoy a familiar meal.

As usual, the order was incorrect. I ordered shaker fries, but the spices weren't included. I received a moist towelette instead of the spices.

Just now, late in the quiet season, you order 9 chicken nuggets without sauce, nothing more, and even then, it's wrong. 8 chicken nuggets instead of 9. It's quite a distance from home. It's the second time I've ordered here, and the second time I didn't get enough nuggets. Last time, they ordered 18 instead of 20. Counting isn't their strong suit.

The dirtiest chaotic mac in the Netherlands in my opinion.
