Johnny's Burger & O'Tacos in Centrum

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd, you should not do this with this company. Everything was one big chaos, nothing was correct. Half my order was missing. Luckily this place was in the center so I got on my bike and went there. These people don't speak Dutch. I found that out later, so I had to explain everything in English. Fortunately, I had proof that I had ordered via Thuisbezorgd. They resolved everything nicely and re-prepared all the food for me. When I ordered food through the Thuisbezorgd app, I couldn't find anything about this company on the internet, so I thought it didn't exist and that I had been scammed. I have tried everything to find out the Chamber of Commerce number of this company. I even looked up Uber Eats and found out that this company is a franchiser and therefore marketing on the Thuisbezorgd app is not going well. On the Thuisbezorgd app this is shown as a new line as a company and not this company itself. This was very unclear. There were also no updates about the delivery people on Thuisbezorgd. I thought that was strange so I went to find out about the company. I couldn't find any evidence of this company. I could barely figure it out on my own or on Google! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Their website is also not linked. I could call whatever I wanted, there was no answer. The food was tasty: the chicken was perfect, the burger was boring, could have used some seasoning. Fries were delicious.

Very nice people, they prepare the food quickly, always great service. A major disadvantage, I have mentioned it several times, but I keep experiencing it again and again: the otacos wrap contains almost no sauce and sometimes no sauce at all. Then I'm talking about cheese sauce and the normal sauce. The wraps are very dry and unedible. I am very disappointed about this and have reported this several times, unfortunately no change.

Way too expensive for what you get Simple hamburger sandwich for which a ridiculous amount of money is charged. The bun was cold and tough, the fries limp and not warm. The employee was even annoyed that we had thrown away the sandwich. Do you want to pay way too much for a cold, chewy bite? Then this is the place for you! For anyone who likes a good burger: keep looking.

Food is good. But what lousy service! They had forgotten 2 Ben & Jerry ice creams so I called them politely and then there was an eternity of discussion about whether it was included (it wasn't). I ask how are we going to solve this and the answer I get is 'no, no, no, no I say and if that is possible, I order 2 ice creams for almost €4 each, so you can solve it. Okay, that's fine, sir, but it is busy so it can take a long time. In other words, shut up and don't whine. I didn't see any ice creams this evening either I won't order from here again!

Bland, dry, but especially cold burgers, were not even lukewarm. Reached by telephone by someone who only spoke English and did not understand the complaint at all, it was taken over by someone who did speak Dutch but did not know what could be done about it, when he had to ask someone else again they could go into the tree and I hung up! Ordered via home delivery, After an hour the citizens arrived, which was a flop, they were cold, called Johnnys Burgers, where they were answered by a gentleman who did not speak Dutch or could speak English, I tried, but the gentleman didn't understand anything, some kid took the call. about it, not a word came out. After the lukewarm food had finally arrived, my wife's burger without cheese was not among them. The Smokey bacon BBQ burger (which I had) is a cheap white bun with some lettuce, tomato and BBQ sauce on top, both the burger/Paddy and the bacon could not be recognized as meat. And when one thinks of bacon, one thinks of a crispy, salty piece of delicious pork 🐷. And not a bland piece of turkey 🦃. The burger was tougher on all three than the soles of Bernadette's shoes. So all in all, a big exploiter who takes a lot of money on something that is not unique or unique. It's cheaper and faster to make your own burgers. Originally started here for the curly fries and the honey mustard sauce, but it has become so expensive over the years. ordering now costs almost 30 euros, it's just not worth it.

The ratio of meat, fries and sauce filling to the otacos is often very skewed.

I don't normally write 1 star reviews but I'm hungry and annoyed at the interaction I had with this restaurant. Wanted to get a delivery and they said it would take 20-45 minutes. After an hour and a half I called them where the food was and the people on the phone were dismissive and rude, despite me being polite and literally just asking where the food was. They said it'll be there soon, maybe 5 minutes, but it ended up taking 20 more minutes. The food wasn't properly warm and the fries were actually cold and dry. In the past the food was good, but don't ever rely on their delivery.

Do not order here!! Calling because the food is cold and then being told they can't bring new food. Then we are called anonymously and harassed on the phone. Same voice and way of talking. Very annoying! Even your personal information is not safe here!

Fries were anything but cooked (see photo), my composed wrap only had nuggets instead of chicken tenders. Waited 50 minutes for my food. The quality has really deteriorated.

Order placed but not received after 2 hours. But once I called and there was no answer. Went to the store and it turns out they are closed! Hopefully we will get the money back for our order, but we will not order here again. Addition: We contacted the branch and after many apologies they contacted the "head office". After some back and forth, we were promised that we would get our money back and that has now happened. It remains a bad thing for us.

This review is not based on an order. No idea what the food is like. It is purely about the appearance of that one Friday evening in June. We had the pleasure of looking out at this establishment for 2 hours from a restaurant opposite. Of those 2 hours, a lady sat outside for at least 1.5 hours. I suspect the manager, manager, owner, something like that. Although clothing can also be judged by taste, I will omit that here. Nevertheless, I can say that I found the scene uninviting and the choice of clothing also contributed to that. This lady was either sitting/hanging on a steel gate or on a folding chair, right next to the entrance, vaping, drinking chocolate milk and exuberantly texting and recording voice messages. Fortunately, there was some variety, because after a (muscular) colleague had removed the folding chair, a high stool with a short backrest emerged and was placed on the other side of the entrance. She was new to the phenomenon of the 'stool', it seemed, because after sitting on it backwards with her legs apart for a while, it seemed better to throw her legs over the backrest so that she could continue texting quietly while vaping. If you want to do this and you focus on delivery instead of pickup, find another place instead of on a major street in the middle of the center in a visible location PS: this also applies to the adjacent Domino's, where a delivery bike has been lying on the ground all evening. It was busy there with delivery people, but no one bothered to put the bike upright. Shame.

Oh god, where do I start.. Off a positive note, the delivery was quick, I think it took under 30 minutes which was great, but still arrived quite cold. I got a chicken burger that made me depressed at first bite: part soggy bun, unseasoned, thin patty with a sad crust. It had sauce on 1/4 of the burger surface, which was quite the shock, biting into dryness followed by the overwhelming single sauce drenched bit. We also got chicken tenders, again, half decent crust that tasted like sad nothingness, just breadcrumbs, along with maybe 2 particles of pepper I was fortunate enough to detect. The chicken was weirdly soft, which was not a nice texture at all and it gave me a stomach ache not long after. Avoid if you have any desire for flavour and respect for your intestinal system.

Despite the bad reviews...still tried it. My daughter really wanted to try a Boefburger. We ordered take-out. I thought the layout was a bit messy, not much lettuce, and no sharp chips but plain... (daughter wanted no cheese). The food was ready quickly, the burger was very tasty and warm. The fries were not our thing and we would not have them again.

I don't often write a review, but I can't skip this one. What a club.... Ordering time for the burgers would be between 30-55 minutes. It's Sunday, so you might think something could go wrong. After almost 2 hours and a phone call from us, it is finally here. We get ice cold burgers. So call again. I get a giggly employee who dismisses it as a pity with a tone of "it's all going to bother me", but then we'll bring something new. It was already approaching 9:30 PM and experience showed that there would be a wait time of almost 2 hours, so we are not going to do that. Just pick it up and send a voucher. We don't have that answer, so that's it. Kudos for these pearls. Never again.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. Called after 1 hour without answer to find out when the food would arrive. The Johnny Burger employee replied that the order was on its way and would be there within 10 minutes. Not arrived after 30 minutes. So I called 4 times and was immediately forwarded to voicemail. After 2 hours the delivery person was with us with our order. I rejected this because of other food ordered. Given the service, I think it is unlikely that I will order from here again. However, I cannot give a review about the food.

Order was on time. The delivery person was friendly/attentive! The food was cold. Burger tastes ok but cold. Fries stone cold. It was the first time I ordered but honestly not for the second time. I think it's a shame, it looked nice on the website. So for me a no.

I don't usually write reviews, but..... As the title of this review suggests, I don't normally write about foods that I tried. However; this is by far and away, and without a shadow of a doubt, the best burger I have ever had... I placed an order for a `Smokey BBQ` in the late afternoon, and it was delivered in 20 mins…..Can you believe it? And, the burger was still hot. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the burger. Do yourself a favor and try Johnny’s Burger in Apeldoorn. From now on, this is my absolute favorite burger spot in the town. I highly recommend to everyone! I would like to order again and again.

I had a honey mustard wrap menu. The chicken in the wrap was very spicy and I had to leave it out because I absolutely cannot stand it due to my pregnancy. I checked it again after that time and it doesn't say anything about it being spicy. The fries were cold and the drinks were not included. This was immediately resolved at the door by refunding the money for the drinks, but otherwise this is really not worth repeating.

Order took over an hour to be delivered after calling. Received someone on the phone who could not make themselves understood in Dutch and English. Finally got food but it was cold. Once but never again.

Definitely recommend, one of the best & delicious burger I have eaten. Starving? Do not hesitate to deliver. Between 18.00-20.00 p.m they are in rush hour so I advise you to order before or after these times if you want to deliver your order fast on your table. Thanks to all staff of Johnny 's .

Ordered and order would take 45 minutes. Finally called after an hour and said it would be there in 5 minutes. The delivery person turned out to be standing across the street in the apartment talking to friends and we ordered a cold order. It was difficult to call, got in the car and drove there and received a new order and money back. Never order from here again if this is how customers are treated. Just scandalous because they didn't want to do anything with my cold order. Waiting 2 hours for cold food is really not normal. In a word, shitty company.

Ordered a few times, always great. Finally received one incomplete order, after which the company is completely inaccessible. Phone number just doesn't work, and no other option. In the end I managed to get in touch via the Domino's (neighbors), but in the end it was "I think you better drop by". I love me a good burger. I've made it a hobby to try different burgers at as many different places as I can. So naturally, when this place opened up, I decided to give it a go. The beef burger didn't really impress me. It was warm, but the taste was a bit on the weaker side. Still decent, but nothing really special. Had the chicken burger today though, and that one definitely filled a hole. Filled me right up and even tasted pretty nice. The chicken was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is the way it should be. The rest of the burger again wasn't anything special, but it definitely was tasty. The food arrived warm as well, so that's a big plus. The delivery even came quicker than expected, and I'll take any bonuses I can get. All in all, I've had a good experience here and will likely order again sometime.
