Terrible! Ordered at 6:30 and still no food at 9:00! Never again!

Something went wrong with the delivery but it was resolved, the food was delicious, I had to wait a little longer but it was definitely worth it, well resolved, thank you

I recently ordered from here, the food was delicious and still nice and warm. Delicious chicken and highly recommended.

Don't order here. I waited over two hours for my food. I stood on hold for half an hour, and nobody answered. It wasn't until I put on my shoes to go somewhere else to get something to eat that the doorbell rang.

Not delivered, but ordered... 2 hours in the phone queue after waiting 2 hours.

I'm not usually a keyboard terrorist, but this one is more than deserved. What a terrible place!!! The delivery was a disaster. Almost three hours later, still not everything was complete, and lies were everywhere on the phone. You can't believe such a sham of a company can still take itself seriously and not just close its doors.

I ordered food from here yesterday, and they delivered it to my house. I live a bit further away than I thought, but the person on the phone was super friendly and gave me a clear delivery time. Luckily, I could still pay cash, but with the exact change. The food was delicious, and I was very happy with the cute socks I received. 😁

Whenever I order, I almost always pick it up! The fries are almost always made as soon as I arrive; then it's another three-minute wait, and I get them neatly packed. The only "mistakes" I've ever experienced were an extra container of mayo and the wrong sauce once. The guy at the counter is always super friendly!

DO NOT order from here. It took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive, even though the website said 0.5 hours. The quality was mediocre. Not worth it.

Unfortunately the delivery guy was more than 20 minutes late and the food was cold. I live 900 meters from the shop and it was difficult to say it was on the way. Kimenvdan was still very late on the phone and not very friendly. I'll never be back.

I didn’t check the reviews, my bad. We ordered burgers and fries, they were awful. Basically tasted and looked like frozen burgers from jumbo, but for unreasonable price for such poor quality. Would not recommend, definitely would not order here again

Worst experience ever at De Beren. Delivery way too late, food rock hard as if it had been waiting for hours. As if that wasn't bad enough: a hair in the mayonnaise. Downright disgusting. No apologies, no communication. Really scandalous - I will never order from here again

Absolutely unacceptable. We ordered from De Beren Leidsche Rijn expecting the promised 30-minute delivery. What we got instead was a 1 hour and 30 minute wait, and not a single update in between. No call, no message, not even a pigeon to let us know our food was apparently stuck in a time loop. By the time it arrived, it was lukewarm and our appetite had long evolved into existential despair. If this was a test of patience, congratulations, we failed. If it was supposed to be dinner, also congratulations, you failed. Do not order from here ever.

Ordered 3 menus: 2x spareribs and 1x pork tenderloin. Ordered one day earlier to be able to have it delivered on time. 30 minutes late. The amount of meat is really scandalously little. 2 pieces of undercooked spareribs, half a tough pork tenderloin and cold fries. Apple sauce was warm. —> Never again De Beren!

We've ordered mixed grill here several times and it's always excellent. Now there's a buy-one-get-one-serve deal, but the portion seems to be split by two. A tiny piece of steak, or rather, a steak tartare, and half a chicken breast. It came with a piece of spare rib that lacked much flavor. The food was lukewarm, and the mayonnaise and coleslaw weren't delivered. Coleslaw was delivered later, as that was also what we paid for. I won't be returning and I don't recommend it.

Incredible mixed grill 1+1 if you put everything together it's not even a whole menu. Outrageous

1 cheese burger, Mixed grill 1 + 1 free (not included) you can't call this a mixed grill poor meal and the cheeseburger was as hard as concrete where did you learn to cook? This is not worth a star at all, really a waste of money

What a bad place, I have been here twice, for the first and last time, one star is still too many, which is bad, the order was incorrect and if you call, you have to contact home delivery because they delivered it, the Beren says there is nothing they can do about it.

Ordered a mixed grill with a 1-get-1-free offer through Thuisbezorgd. Received a menu without fries. I called them and waited 31 minutes on hold. One plus one equals a minus one. 😡

I just ordered food from them, it was delivered cold, even though I asked for it to be warmed up extra well because of pregnancy, I paid 30 euros and it is now in the garbage bin..

Ordered on Boxing Day, the site stated that the branch was open. Once the order was placed, I later received a call that the branch was closed. Money was supposed to be refunded, now 4 days later, money has not yet been refunded and emails have not been responded to. It's ridiculous that it has to take so long.

How this place continues to stay in business is beyond me! I only ordered here because there was 1+1 burger deal (Big mistake!). Ordered at 7:20pm. The promised delivery time on their website was 8:35pm. The food arrived at 9:20pm. The fries were just trash. The chicken crush burger wasn't too bad. I once had bought a Beren 3 course voucher from Kruidvat and had a mediocre experience at their restaurant. This will be the last time I will order or go to Beren! Enough is enough!

Normally I read the reviews. But I thought, hey, I know the bears. I ordered the carpaccio salad and fries. What I saw was just a sad little salad... To consider it as a meal salad for such a small amount, no way... Such a shame... Ordered food from the bears last Friday. Waited 90 minutes so I called. The delivery man is just on his way, he will be there in 20 minutes, sir. Placed another order with the Beren today. Normally it is always fine, but if you order 400 grams of Spareribs you also expect 400 grams, but that is not the case. My wife is dropped off with 282 grams of spare ribs. Her herb butter had also leaked from the container because it had ended up on its side and therefore the rest was also covered in the herb butter. I have not changed my question marks like this to order here again.

Order no.30 from 12-04-2024: 2x satay menu, unfortunately the baked potato was missing, unfortunately forgotten. Satay was good (2 skewers), but the whole was meager. Some wet lettuce in small containers, some prawn crackers, fried onions and extra satay sauce for no less than €37.75!! with delivery. Price/quality has gone completely off the rails. Too bad, this used to be different here. The last time here for us.

Ordered 2x satay, 1x artisanal fries, 1x corn cob, 2x mayonnaise, 2x dried onions, 2x prawn crackers. Excellent food, tasty peanut sauce, crispy fries, well heated. Then the delivery can and should be better, I am 4 kilometers away from this restaurant and that takes 1.5 hours. After an hour of calling, I was answered promptly. It was reported that the bicycle courier had just left the restaurant and was on his way to us. After another 30 minutes the bell rang and a delivery person was at the door with .............??? the car. I find that strange, would they have forgotten me and only started processing my order after my phone call? The food was super hot so I have the feeling that the very friendly guy on the phone wasn't quite telling the truth. But in terms of food, you certainly can't do anything about your chicken satay to eat it just fine. However, I do think that orders received via Uber Eats or Thuisbezorgd.nl should be picked up more quickly and if something does go wrong, please call the customer.

Always very enthusiastic about De Beren Leidsche Rijn!!! Ordered yesterday. Something went wrong on the website that was my own fault, so I had to pick up the order. Despite the crowds, they delivered it to your home after telephone contact! The food arrived on time, was still hot and super tasty! Both the staff on the phone and the delivery people are very friendly! Compliments! And man, the fries are delicious!!!

one of the menus was not delivered. Contacted the restaurant, but they were too busy to solve the problem and would call back in the evening (which I thought was quite special). I have not received a call back and they no longer answer the phone. I wonder if I will ever see my 25 euros again, what a scam this is

Excellent food and usually delivered quite quickly. Spare ribs not very interesting, but the burgers and satay are very tasty. Tasty fries too!

Ordered via Uber eats. Arrived at stated time and was still warm. The spare ribs were tough and did not fall off the bone. But the pork tenderloin satay was very tasty. The loaded fries chicken was not very tasty chicken. But otherwise a great experience.

Dinner would be here at 4:49 pm. It's 5:27 PM and still not here.

Ordered 2 wraps. And I don't often write reviews. But Jesus what bad food for 30€. Rock-hard bacon. Breaking your molars. And they can't really fill a wrap either. First 3 bites and last 2 bites no filling.

Promised 60 minute delivery time not achieved. Called several times after 90 minutes, but phone is not answered. In the end it was only delivered after 2 hours!! Mediocre quality food. Spareribs are bland and with little marinade. In short, I won't order again!

It used to be fine, but lately the wait has been longer and longer. Today we received a waiting time of one hour, but we have now been waiting for 2 hours. Quite a long time for food which is okay, but not particularly tasty. They cannot be reached by telephone. This was the last time for us.

My son was almost run over at a zebra crossing by a moronic delivery of this tent. That jerk also raised his middle finger when my wife said something about it.

Delivery people drive on scooters with yellow license plates like morons on the cycle path in Leidsche Rijn, and cannot be reached by telephone to file a complaint. It is waiting for a playing child to be hit.

Never experienced anything like this before. Order placed and paid. Waited 4 hours and called 3 times without answer. Never received the order. I finally contacted the restaurant via Thuisbezorgd, and they refused to offer compensation for the money already paid. Unfortunately, I only now see the other negative Google reviews, otherwise I would never have ordered here. So here's a warning: don't order here!!

Was always very good, unfortunately nowadays often slow (waiting for an hour for 1 portion of satay where 25 minutes is promised) and rude (when calling, they hang up and are blamed for home delivery, even though the order was placed directly from Beren). Food is cold and bad, much better options available…

Shouldn't use the word restaurant.

Food was tasty, but what an inhospitable, unsanitary and unsympathetic place to spend your money when you pick up food. Stand together in your work clothes and smoke in front of the entrance, then you go inside and then you are ignored by students and the (I think) owner who literally licks their fingers and puts away a plate of food while they pack orders. I don't think that was the intention.

We picked up food here today. We didn't think the quality was very good. Unfortunately the fries were lukewarm. The green meal salad was certainly not fresh. The sirloin steak was very red and they had forgotten the bear ice cream for my son. Due to the very bad weather I didn't go back. The quantity and speed of preparation was good. All in all not really great.

Had a very nice meal here a few times. The last order was a real disappointment. The traditional fries are normally recommended, but this time they were not crispy. Ordered a black angus burger. You get a burger on a bun, lettuce in a bowl and onions in a bowl. You can then put it together yourself. It sounds like it tastes. Unfortunately! Because a few months ago it was really great.

Part of the order was never delivered and company phone was not answered, also no reaction on my mail describing this situation and asking money back. As I wrote in my email to them: have some decency and free a space for a company who will care. Never again!

Ordered 3x satay menu tonight: super delicious! Traditional fries have something special, just because of the curved shape, and we like that. Misunderstanding when ordering was resolved after contacting the location. Delivery and service also very good.

De beren is just plain bad in always surprising ways. Long wait, badly made food. just bad recipe for the food even if it was made correctly.

Worthless. Half of the food was missing, called immediately but staff was very unhelpful. The solution was for me to save the food and swap it with a new menu that would be coming my way. Took a very long time and was already cold. Never again, it was a real waste of money.

Got food from the Beren today. Something went wrong instead of 2 satay menu the girl had 1 satay menu. Because I had ordered 4 meals and apparently something had gone wrong, 1 more menu had to be made. But because the other 3 were already ready, the employee says go home so that it doesn't get cold and we will bring it to you. But then too little has been paid. Ordered food at 6:40 PM. It would take about 35 minutes, I called at 7:55 PM to ask if they had forgotten. It would take about 10 more minutes, it's already been 20 minutes and I still haven't gotten the food. What terrible service this is. I really don't mind waiting a while, even a little longer than the time. But this really goes too far, especially because I also called. This is important.

Very tasty take away food. Although the menu can be pricey in some areas, it is certainly worth the few extra euros compared to other chains. Never had it delivered before, but heard that the average delivery time was around 30/45 minutes.
