My order arrived very late. When it finally arrived, they'd forgotten the side dishes and drinks. My satay was still edible, but I didn't even want to feed my wife's hot wings to the dog, they were so bad. I wanted to call them right away but was put on hold, with four people waiting ahead of me. After 40 minutes, there were still four people waiting. They simply don't answer the phone. I finally got a partial refund through Thuisbezorgd. First and last time!!

Things have gone wrong with orders a few times now, but this time it's unacceptable. "The Bears" said the steak was out, even though I could order it on their website. Then I got a call from a random mobile phone number (I don't answer unknown numbers), and NOT from "The Bears" (which I've saved in my phone because things go wrong so often). Then the order arrived in two boxes. One was correct, the other was something completely different, saying "the steak was out." They had written it on the box, but it took a while to figure out what it said because it was difficult to read. It read: "Dear customer, We tried to reach you. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a hold of you. The steak is out and we've replaced it with an XXL rib :)" Now, my boyfriend and I don't eat spareribs, so this is completely useless to us. I tried calling the Bears, but they put me on a never-ending queue because they were closed. I also called the private number, but there's no answer either. Even if someone answers, the person simply doesn't speak. The quality of customer service is extremely disappointing. They should have expected a call about the incorrect order, which they tried to "fix" without speaking to the customer or reporting anything at the door. But they didn't take that into account. There's no way to contact customer service on the website, and it's not possible to leave a review. I'm trying to get a refund for this order because I just want to be able to have dinner.

Ordered food for a birthday. The order arrived incomplete, and the birthday boy didn't even have any food. We waited in line for 45 minutes, then called again, and finally asked for a refund. After a week, it still hadn't arrived, so I called again. What a hassle. The issue was resolved immediately. A shame... because that's not how we know De Beren at all. But judging by the reviews, the entrepreneur will have a lot of work to do to save his business.

On January 26th, I ordered at 6:00 PM. After calling several times, they said the delivery person would arrive in 5 minutes. I literally live 5 minutes away. After a 2-hour wait, the order arrived, the wrong one, all messed up in the box. I went to the store and found 3 women there, loitering and not at all busy preparing food. After a 10-minute wait, one of the women finally arrived. I asked for the boss, and he remade my order. Another half hour later, I, with a lot of experience in the hospitality industry and certainly busy restaurants, would close the store. The way they work here doesn't use pliers, sunglasses on their heads in the winter, and everyone's phones in their pockets, not busy with orders. Apologies, oh yeah, don't expect that. I'll never order from here again, and I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The food was really cold, and then everything. It's a real shame, so we'll never order from here again. It's a shame, we were really craving it.

Never again ordered at 12:00. Ordered before 6:00 PM, told at 6:15 PM that the delivery person had already been on his way. Order finally arrived at 6:50 PM, everything cold... A children's menu with a burst croquette that had been in the fryer too long... And half a chicken menu missing... I waited half an hour in line until someone helped me on the phone, and hopefully the half chicken would be brought in half an hour... Crappy place.

I ordered at 6:06 PM, and the food didn't arrive until around 8:30 PM. Both the man on the phone and the delivery driver were unfriendly and provided very poor service. The food arrived in boxes without any bags. They didn't even provide a drink, and the food was raw and cold. Very disappointed. If this continues, I'll never order from De Beers again, and I wouldn't recommend them either.

Instead of 6:00 PM, the food arrived at 7:15 PM and was cold. After a 20-minute wait, the guy on the phone said he didn't have enough delivery drivers. A lot of money for nothing.

Cold, tough fries, overcooked fries a hundred times, old hamburger, everything was missing too... the only thing that was tasty... the applesauce. Unfortunately, something always goes wrong lately.

A real no-go!!! Two hours after ordering, still no food. No one answered the phone. You have absolutely no idea how far along your food is. So, I just got in the car and drove there. They simply said it was busy and there was nothing they could do. At least answer the phone. We finally got our food. It was freezing, and we missed a few things. Thanks, but you won't see us again.

After reading many negative reviews, we finally opted for the bears in Spijkenisse. Kevin (the delivery driver) arrived at the agreed-upon time. The food was still nice and hot, and we had a delicious meal 😋

What a terrible (delivery) restaurant. When you call, you get a recording and the wait is even longer than at your doctor's office. Our food arrived almost an hour late. The employee you finally get on the phone doesn't give a damn. I'll never order from here again, but that's what I said a year ago. I had a tiny bit of hope that things might be a bit better now, but unfortunately, they weren't.

I didn't receive any food. I tried calling De Beren immediately, but they ignored me, so I couldn't speak to anyone. At 9:00 PM, they finally rang the doorbell, no apology, no explanation, nothing! The food was absolutely freezing! I mean, absolutely freezing, as if the peanut sauce had come straight out of the refrigerator. The fries weren't included (although I paid for them), the applesauce wasn't included (although I paid for them), and the chicken strips promised for the dish they couldn't deliver weren't included either (although I paid for them). There were sauces I hadn't ordered, and the rest was unappetizing, so it went straight in the bin. There was no saving it. After trying to call several times, I was constantly being ignored, so no one could speak to me. This is truly outrageous!!! The food isn't exactly free. I'll NEVER order from here again! It's a real shame. I don't know what happened here; in the past, they weren't bad at all. I know I shouldn't expect a response, because as you can see, they react the same way to every one-star rating (and there are quite a few). Nonsense!

Placed an order on November 29, 2025. Waited two hours, still nothing. They don't answer the phone, and they don't respond to emails. I can kiss my money goodbye.

Had to wait two hours for an order that arrived freezing cold and incomplete. I was on hold for over 35 minutes trying to find out where my food was or to complain about the delivery temperature.

The delivery driver didn't arrive until an hour after the food was supposed to arrive. The food was lukewarm and missing. I spent half an hour on the phone before finally reaching a representative, and then had to wait another hour and a half for the rest of the order.

Ordered at 16:00 for delivery around 17:30 Called at 18:20 to ask where it was. At 18:45, a delivery person finally arrived. Fries were cold, container of spread for sandwiches upside down in the bag, melted, and everything dirty. Schnitzel dry and overcooked... The beer used to be tasty, but this was simply unsellable Too bad, but I won't be ordering from here again for a long time.

Delivery guy. Order placed around 4:30 PM. Delivery 6:15 PM. Called a few times around 7:00 PM, but no answer. At 8:00 PM, the delivery driver rang the doorbell. He was a nice guy. He said there was only one person in the kitchen and only three delivery drivers. Please mention this on the website. He can't do anything about it. We'd already eaten a sandwich by then. So, really annoying. . Worthless. Never had any problems before, but this was the last time I ordered.

Ordered food on November 16th and after paying they said the spare ribs were gone and that you would get your money back within 3 working days and then after a week nothing was returned, which I find scandalous and 2 already say you will be called back so never again will I report it as theft from Monday onwards because that is what it is

A year ago, the service, delivery, and food were top-notch. It's a shame that this has changed; delivery takes a long time and is sometimes incomplete. You order a chicken burger and sometimes you get something completely different, like a bun with pieces of chicken satay that aren't even on the menu. Finally, the burger bun was very hard.

Long wait, cold fries, no applesauce (ordered twice), and the steak that was supposed to be medium was as tough as a shoe sole.

Today we ordered food from the delivery guy in Spijkenisse for the last time. The food was fine, but not hot, two hours late, and the order was incomplete again. No, it was definitely our last time, and there are plenty of great delivery restaurants with delicious food in Spijkenisse. We're not looking forward to this fiasco.

Just once again unable to deliver hot food. Let's just say cold! I've learned my lesson now.

Where do I begin? The food was late, and when I called, I was told it had just left. After half an hour, we received our food. Everything was cold. I ordered a burger but received satay. When I called about it, I was told they were out of it and that's why they had given me satay. I said I would have appreciated it if they had called about it, but they said they were busy. They were also missing a bread roll with herb butter. They offered to bring it, but they were busy, so it would take a long time. I insisted on it anyway, and within 45 minutes I received: a bread roll, a bag of cold fries, and no herb butter. I can't stand cold fries anymore... 🥲 but I don't dare call them anymore either. I think this was the last time we'll order from here. It's a shame, because it used to be really good.

Terrible, ordered at 4:00 PM with a desired time of 5:45-6:15 PM. Called at 6:45 PM and again at 7:30 PM still no order. Apologies for being busy, no apologies. How is this possible when my order was made at 4:00 PM? Well in advance of opening. Food is expensive for this service. Also, extra portions ordered are regularly forgotten. Twice, extra fries weren't provided, which cost almost €4. The food was cold upon arrival at 7:30 PM. You've really gone downhill. Never again.

I've been waiting an hour and a half for my food, which I ordered at 4:50 PM. Update: After two hours, I went to pick it up myself, but I still had to wait another 30 minutes in the restaurant, even though they said it would be ready at 7:10 PM. Ordered food yesterday. It finally arrived after a good two hours of waiting. Unfortunately, half our order wasn't delivered. Only the fries and a snack for the kids, which were also cold and soggy! We called to ask if they would bring the rest. An hour and a half later, the delivery driver showed up, but again, only fries and not our spare ribs. We lost our money and didn't get any food... never experienced such a mess before.

It is now 19:30 and I called again and they say it is arriving now. 19:50 still not my food. 20:00 finally delivered, an hour and 15 mins later than expected and took 30 minutes for delivery!! Fries cold, ribs lukewarm and plain flavor instead of BBQ, no crusty bread included but aioli was. Well done Truly worthless and shameless. Not again

Ordered at 5:35 PM, supposed to be delivered around 6:10 PM (Spijkenisse-Zuidland). At 6:30 PM, I called to ask where the food was. "It'll be here within 5 minutes." It arrived at 7:10 PM... COLD. I called and something had gone wrong. Well, these reviews are full of things that often go wrong there. They said they'd send it by scooter, and it arrived at 7:35 PM. It's now 7:50 PM and I'm still waiting. Also, the fries were tough as hell, and the wrong fries too. It was worth a try, but from now on I'll just eat in Heenvliet instead of ordering here from Spijkenisse. Absolutely terrible. It's only right that you can give -3 stars, otherwise they would definitely have had this one. I'll write to home delivery tomorrow!

Horrible staff hang up the phone and tell each other, "You shouldn't have taken that one." Three out of three things in the order were wrong. They promised to deliver within an hour, but after two hours I called, and they said, "Did you answer?" No, you shouldn't have taken that one, and hung up. That's how they treat customers.

It's truly astonishing how bad this was. There are a couple of them behind the counter who look like they belong at a kids' club. Chicken satay WITHOUT satay sauce😂 How dare you. Fries that looked like they'd just been chewed... truly bizarre.

Ordered two meals at 5:30 PM (a hamburger menu, a sparerib menu, white bread, and a shake). The order was finally delivered at 7:00 PM, while the promised delivery time was 6:15 PM. After opening the delivery box, the hamburger menu was missing, the bread was brown instead of white, the spreads were missing, and the mayo wasn't included. I called immediately, and it's now 8:00 PM and the order still hasn't arrived. What a disaster. The food was also still cold. Never order from here; it's a waste of money.

I placed my order today at 5:00 PM for around 6:30 PM! At 7:15 PM I called to ask where it was?! The last fries were being fried and it was coming! I was spoken to kindly, but I can't say anything about it! 10 minutes later it was ready... unfortunately not complete! This is a great place if you're forced to urinate on the toilet for an indefinite period of time after eating your spare ribs, suffering the worst intestinal cramps ever, and then puking up your meal all over the bathroom because your body rejects it. I've been stuck on the toilet for an hour and 15 minutes, still going strong. I have the worst food poisoning in years, and I even ate a poisonous snake and a meter-long lizard in the desert in Uzbekistan once, which didn't make me nearly as sick as your spare ribs; my body didn't even reject them. It's not even about the money, but how incompetent and disrespectful can you be to your customers to offer food that makes you seriously ill? I've lost both money and my entire evening, and I would pay to avoid this physical suffering, which is unfortunately impossible. I'd rather close this place yesterday than today. The fries were limp, cold, and bland, as were the spare ribs, and that took over an hour. All in all, I'd rather starve next time than order food from you. My toilet hasn't done you any harm. Just placed an order, called less than 3 minutes later to say they couldn't deliver everything because there wasn't any left. They couldn't offer me things I didn't ask for, so I canceled the order. Now I'm hoping they'll refund me. I've requested an email explaining the reason for the cancellation and my money will be refunded. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've tried this with this branch; it's also the last time I've tried to order.

I haven't ordered from De Beren in a long time, and the food is still inedible. The fries were simply tough. The burger was completely ruined by the overabundance of unappetizing sauce. And then the mayo container was only a third full. Never again will I order De Beren.

It's outrageous that you only receive your food an hour and a half after selecting your delivery options, and even then it's not complete. After the third call, they promise you that the missing item will be delivered. But by 9:30 p.m., the remaining order still hasn't arrived. We will definitely not recommend you to anyone.

Ordered... more than half an hour late. I called and was told to be patient. Apparently, the menu didn't include fries/chips. I should have ordered them (it's shown in the picture). It's also a shame I weighed the ribs. They were just over 500g. I paid extra to get 750g. Hmmmm. I called and was told that ribs are weighed and then brought to me? I find it strange that I pay for 750g and don't even get 550g.

I come here quite often because it's just around the corner. And it's always ready on time. But it's been getting a lot worse lately. The last 2 times the satay was lukewarm; ditto for the chicken drumsticks. The last time there was no prawn crackers and I'm actually starting to get the idea that they'd rather deliver it than have you pick it up yourself. After all, you can't see what they're messing around with.

normally quite satisfied with the food. yesterday my brother and I both ordered the hot wings with fries and I ordered artisan fries. just arrived on time and looked good. in the evening I suddenly felt incredibly nauseous with the non-stop feeling that I was going to throw up. and that while I only ate 4 out of 10 hot wings. at first I thought maybe it was me, but I heard from my brother that he also felt incredibly nauseous from it. today I was also nauseous all day and we both threw away what was left. not recommended, I don't know what they do there but this was not good.

Ordered food on April 28, 2025 at 4:54 PM, it was only delivered to my home at 7:14 PM, with the added bonus that the hamburger buns were already very lukewarm and not really warm anymore, so we won't do this a second time, what a lousy service, never had this anywhere else.

Ordered the Beren satay today! Great for each other! Neat box, neatly packaged and delivered in about 25 minutes by a cheerful lady! Both the satay and the fries were still at the right temperature and tasted great! Well done! We'll do this more often!

Delicious satay, plenty of tasty peanut sauce, everything neatly packaged in the take-away box. Delicious fries, bag of prawn crackers. To finish it off, add a box of dried onions and a bowl of mayonnaise. I will definitely order satay again

Had problems with delivery several times. Forgetting food, eating the wrong food, cold food, disinterested and irritated communication. You keep giving them another chance and things still go wrong. After waiting 2 hours and 20 minutes on hold, I received a text message that the order was canceled and we could not place a new order.

We will never have the delivery bear again for us, we gave it one more chance, but unfortunately. And certainly not value for money. Shame...

Great experience at De Bezorgbeer Spijkenisse! We recently ordered from De Bezorgbeer and are very satisfied! We went for the 2x mixed grill, and everything was prepared perfectly. The steak was wonderfully tender, and both the chicken and the pork tenderloin satay were juicy and full of flavor. You can really taste that attention has been paid to the preparation. We also noticed that the new owner is very friendly and clearly started working with great enthusiasm. This is reflected in both the service and the quality of the food. In short: a great experience and we will definitely order here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Portions are ridiculously small, ordered at 4:45 PM, didn't arrive until 6:30 PM... when you call they tell you to wait.

Got food from the bear in Spijkenisse today. Case looked neat. Bears new style. Also a new owner who is clearly looking forward to it. 2 menus and a separate cheeseburger and loaded fries spicy chicken. Ate everything nicely at home. The cheeseburger was big enough and tasted great. The loaded fries were really tasty and spicy. We will come back another time.

People, if you want to get bamboozled , this is the place. If you want to be disrespected, this is the place. If you want a Vegan burger DON'T GO HERE!! I ordered a vegan burger and got a chicken burger upon calling them they hanged up the phone. After contact with Thuisbezorgd they told me that they delivered Vega burger. I Told them I got pictures of the meat, so I could proof my point. This is definitely no Vega. After this, they told thuisbezorgd they don't want to work on a solution period. Now what to do?
