Ordered at 5:35 PM, supposed to be delivered around 6:10 PM (Spijkenisse-Zuidland). At 6:30 PM, I called to ask where the food was. "It'll be here within 5 minutes." It arrived at 7:10 PM... COLD. I called and something had gone wrong. Well, these reviews are full of things that often go wrong there. They said they'd send it by scooter, and it arrived at 7:35 PM. It's now 7:50 PM and I'm still waiting. Also, the fries were tough as hell, and the wrong fries too. It was worth a try, but from now on I'll just eat in Heenvliet instead of ordering here from Spijkenisse. Absolutely terrible. It's only right that you can give -3 stars, otherwise they would definitely have had this one. I'll write to home delivery tomorrow!

Picked up from the bears, very friendly staff. I was given way too much food, even though my stomach was overflowing from the spare ribs, but it was truly delicious. These bears can make sandwiches!

Horrible staff hang up the phone and tell each other, "You shouldn't have taken that one." Three out of three things in the order were wrong. They promised to deliver within an hour, but after two hours I called, and they said, "Did you answer?" No, you shouldn't have taken that one, and hung up. That's how they treat customers.

It's truly astonishing how bad this was. There are a couple of them behind the counter who look like they belong at a kids' club. Chicken satay WITHOUT satay sauce😂 How dare you. Fries that looked like they'd just been chewed... truly bizarre.

Ordered two meals at 5:30 PM (a hamburger menu, a sparerib menu, white bread, and a shake). The order was finally delivered at 7:00 PM, while the promised delivery time was 6:15 PM. After opening the delivery box, the hamburger menu was missing, the bread was brown instead of white, the spreads were missing, and the mayo wasn't included. I called immediately, and it's now 8:00 PM and the order still hasn't arrived. What a disaster. The food was also still cold. Never order from here; it's a waste of money.

I placed my order today at 5:00 PM for around 6:30 PM! At 7:15 PM I called to ask where it was?! The last fries were being fried and it was coming! I was spoken to kindly, but I can't say anything about it! 10 minutes later it was ready... unfortunately not complete! I called "apologies, I'm coming"! 1 hour and 15 minutes later 😱 never mind... and still not correct! Something is wrong with the communication there, or too little (or not enough) inexperienced staff. I would seriously look into this before closing your doors! Shame, the spareribs, on the other hand, were nice and tender! After reading all the negative reviews and also reading good ones... I ordered with the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately!

This is a great place if you're forced to urinate on the toilet for an indefinite period of time after eating your spare ribs, suffering the worst intestinal cramps ever, and then puking up your meal all over the bathroom because your body rejects it. I've been stuck on the toilet for an hour and 15 minutes, still going strong. I have the worst food poisoning in years, and I even ate a poisonous snake and a meter-long lizard in the desert in Uzbekistan once, which didn't make me nearly as sick as your spare ribs; my body didn't even reject them. It's not even about the money, but how incompetent and disrespectful can you be to your customers to offer food that makes you seriously ill? I've lost both money and my entire evening, and I would pay to avoid this physical suffering, which is unfortunately impossible. I'd rather close this place yesterday than today. The fries were limp, cold, and bland, as were the spare ribs, and that took over an hour. All in all, I'd rather starve next time than order food from you. My toilet hasn't done you any harm. Just placed an order, called less than 3 minutes later to say they couldn't deliver everything because there wasn't any left. They couldn't offer me things I didn't ask for, so I canceled the order. Now I'm hoping they'll refund me. I've requested an email explaining the reason for the cancellation and my money will be refunded. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've tried this with this branch; it's also the last time I've tried to order.

I haven't ordered from De Beren in a long time, and the food is still inedible. The fries were simply tough. The burger was completely ruined by the overabundance of unappetizing sauce. And then the mayo container was only a third full. Never again will I order De Beren.

It's outrageous that you only receive your food an hour and a half after selecting your delivery options, and even then it's not complete. After the third call, they promise you that the missing item will be delivered. But by 9:30 p.m., the remaining order still hasn't arrived. We will definitely not recommend you to anyone.

Ordered... more than half an hour late. I called and was told to be patient. Apparently, the menu didn't include fries/chips. I should have ordered them (it's shown in the picture). It's also a shame I weighed the ribs. They were just over 500g. I paid extra to get 750g. Hmmmm. I called and was told that ribs are weighed and then brought to me? I find it strange that I pay for 750g and don't even get 550g.

I come here quite often because it's just around the corner. And it's always ready on time. But it's been getting a lot worse lately. The last 2 times the satay was lukewarm; ditto for the chicken drumsticks. The last time there was no prawn crackers and I'm actually starting to get the idea that they'd rather deliver it than have you pick it up yourself. After all, you can't see what they're messing around with.

normally quite satisfied with the food. yesterday my brother and I both ordered the hot wings with fries and I ordered artisan fries. just arrived on time and looked good. in the evening I suddenly felt incredibly nauseous with the non-stop feeling that I was going to throw up. and that while I only ate 4 out of 10 hot wings. at first I thought maybe it was me, but I heard from my brother that he also felt incredibly nauseous from it. today I was also nauseous all day and we both threw away what was left. not recommended, I don't know what they do there but this was not good.

Then I was called by a random 06 number (I don't answer unknown numbers), and NOT by the number of 'The Bears' (which I have saved in my phone because things go wrong so often). Then the order arrived with two boxes. One was correct, the other was something completely different, because "the steak was gone". They had written it on the box, but it took a while before we figured out what it said, because it was difficult to read. Here it says: "Dear customer, We have tried to reach you. Unfortunately we can't get hold of you. The steak iso p and have . d???? an XXL rib instead :)" Now my boyfriend and I both don't eat spare ribs, so this is completely useless to us. I tried to call the bears, but they put me in an endless queue because they were closed in the meantime. I also called the 06 number, but there was no answer either. Even if someone answered, because then the person simply didn't talk. The customer service is extremely disappointing in terms of quality. They could have expected to be called about the wrong order that they tried to "fix" without speaking to the customer and without giving anything at the door. But they didn't take that into account. You can't contact customer service on the website, and you can't leave a review. I'm trying to get my money back for this order, because I just want to be able to have dinner.

Ordered food on April 28, 2025 at 4:54 PM, it was only delivered to my home at 7:14 PM, with the added bonus that the hamburger buns were already very lukewarm and not really warm anymore, so we won't do this a second time, what a lousy service, never had this anywhere else.

Ordered the Beren satay today! Great for each other! Neat box, neatly packaged and delivered in about 25 minutes by a cheerful lady! Both the satay and the fries were still at the right temperature and tasted great! Well done! We'll do this more often!

Delicious satay, plenty of tasty peanut sauce, everything neatly packaged in the take-away box. Delicious fries, bag of prawn crackers. To finish it off, add a box of dried onions and a bowl of mayonnaise. I will definitely order satay again

Great experience at De Bezorgbeer Spijkenisse! We recently ordered from De Bezorgbeer and are very satisfied! We went for the 2x mixed grill, and everything was prepared perfectly. The steak was wonderfully tender, and both the chicken and the pork tenderloin satay were juicy and full of flavor. You can really taste that attention has been paid to the preparation. We also noticed that the new owner is very friendly and clearly started working with great enthusiasm. This is reflected in both the service and the quality of the food. In short: a great experience and we will definitely order here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Got food from the bear in Spijkenisse today. Case looked neat. Bears new style. Also a new owner who is clearly looking forward to it. 2 menus and a separate cheeseburger and loaded fries spicy chicken. Ate everything nicely at home. The cheeseburger was big enough and tasted great. The loaded fries were really tasty and spicy. We will come back another time.

I ordered a vegan burger and got a chicken burger upon calling them they hanged up the phone. After contact with Thuisbezorgd they told me that they delivered Vega burger. I Told them I got pictures of the meat, so I could proof my point. This is definitely no Vega. After this, they told thuisbezorgd they don't want to work on a solution period. Now what to do?

I moved from Slinge to Spijkenisse and always ordered from the delivery service at Pleinweg. The delivery bear in Spijkenisse does not come near Pleinweg. Just ordered a spareribs menu. They were at my door within 10/12 minutes! Thought that's fast. Now I also live 2 minutes away by car. I think the spareribs were already ready? Because I got cold spareribs with a lot of BBQ sauce on top. Spareribs were swimming. I still had to heat it up at home. Definitely not again for me! Shame! Because I love the bears. Was a regular customer when ordering. (On Rdam south).

Price quality: 4 times menu meal 84 euros average 21 euros pp. All in all, I enjoyed the meal and since I get more than enough food with sauce, etc., I think the price is okay. Scandalous restaurant, ordered beef steak medium, it arrived raw, I contacted the restaurant itself and they said that they always make it that way and cannot change anything. I don't know what it is about the bears, but the quality is really deteriorating. My chicken was cremated. Probably also the best for the poor animal. Chicken nuggets don't taste like chicken. This has been the very last time. They've lost me. There are more delivery restaurants where the quality is becoming increasingly questionable, i.e. reheating cheap rubbish.

On August 28, 2022 around 9:15 PM in the evening, my wife and I ordered chicken satay and a children's menu with frikandel and artisanal fries. The chicken skewers contained extremely little satay sauce even though I had ordered extra peanut sauce. The break bread was so hard as if it looked a week old. The fries were very tough. We are very disappointed... 'so never again the delivery Beer'!! Sorry!

Just received the order, but De Beren has lost us as a customer. Delivery was on time, as agreed. The food, on the other hand, was not good. Food was lukewarm/cold. The satay was more sauce than meat. Fries were tough and to top it all off, the mushroom/truffle sauce smelled so bad that 3 people walked away from the table gagging. This one smelled worse than a manure pit. Goodbye appetite, but according to the gentleman from "De Beren" the sauce should smell like this. If you can digest that, you are a real "Die Hard". Oh yes, I was able to get a voucher for the sauce for €1.95

Ordered 2 portions of sparring's. They were tasty. Unfortunately the quantity was not what I ordered, but they resolved this very well. Making mistakes can happen. How it is resolved is important. And this was done well.

I registered or created an account on the website myself, but my expectations were high (apparently). The quality and quantity of my orders were below my expectations. Ordered mixed grill. Meat has not seen a grill, all meat was "seasoned" and therefore colored in the same way. No taste and dry. Last ordered from the Beren.

Just ordered spareribs. Definitely come from a microwave. Real microwave heat, halved after 5 minutes. No meat experience whatsoever. Salad soggy. Really not value for money. 1 piece of advice: don't order here. Everything in the Spijkenisse area is better than this mess.
