I tried many different food everything was tasty but those burgers are another levellll sws when you are hungry at night.

It was a delicious bugger, it was blessed. Praise Jesus for this review.

After a long wait, we finally got the spare ribs. They were inedible! More fat than meat, which made you feel like you had a mouthful of snot in your mouth. The kapsalon wasn't good either, though it was nice that we didn't have to pay for the spare ribs. It's a shame, it's always great.

We received friendly service and the food was delicious.

I just placed an order through Thuisbezorgd and had to wait over an hour. When the food finally arrived, it was ice cold. The pizza was inedible, and the snacks were just as bad—cold, limp, and completely lacking in quality. On top of that, I also received the wrong drink. And honestly, if you can't deliver hot food from Spijkenisse to Hellevoetsluis, maybe you should change the postal codes, because this is simply misleading to customers. For these prices, you expect hot food, the correct order, and decent service. This was a huge disappointment.

This is an awful service. We ordered a couple mint teas, some tosties and some coffee and it took 40 minutes to arrive. Save some time instead of coming here

I ordered two pizzas: one Mexican pizza and one tonno pizza. The Mexican pizza with chicken breast had chicken breast, but the tonno pizza had a tiny bit of tuna, and the rest was just plain shawarma. Just not acceptable. Not to mention the wait and having to answer the phone. I called twice, waited a long time, and both times I was told they were closing. 40 minutes later, still nothing. In the photo, you can see what was supposed to be the tonno pizza.

Came from Dordrecht for Jump Spijkenisse for the kids. I thought about eating first. I don't regret choosing Orient. The food is delicious. Only, I'm losing a star because you have to wait a long time for your food because they're too busy delivering. They make people in the restaurant wait too long. That's obviously not right. It's actually extremely annoying.

I placed an order for a Turkish pizza and a spare rib menu. The Turkish pizza was good, but the spare ribs were inedible! Always wait 1.5/2 hours for your food, and then it arrives cold too

We had to wait a very long time for our food, which was supposed to be an hour late, but it didn't arrive until two hours later. Cold fries and burgers, and yesterday's macaroni was tasteless. It's all a real shame.

Been waiting over an hour, called, "It's just leaving." Ordered at 11:20 PM, delivered at 1:34 AM, half cold.

I order a Margherita pizza and instead get a pizza with a burnt edge and tons of garlic. Since when does Margherita have garlic? The food used to be better.

For years the best Shawarma shop in Spijkenisse and the surrounding area.

I ordered three pizzas on Monday evening and had to wait an hour and 30 minutes. I indicated online that it was a cash payment. However, the delivery driver was 3 euros short and said he would check the car for change and otherwise return later. In the end, he never returned. I don't want my money back anyway, but you will get a review in return. Very sloppy of the company, and these kinds of mistakes start with management.

If you eat here, you'll really enjoy it. The food was delicious, and the service was good! The place is also clean, which I think is important when you're eating out.

I ordered a small kapsalon. Well, it was the smallest one in a small bowl I've ever seen... with a few sprigs of lettuce... very meager. A real shame. The taste and service were fine, though. But the price for something so small, no... and even if it had been cheap... I can compare the size to one of those sample testers from a Jumbo supermarket.

The waitress (the young woman) went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We had to wait a very long time for our food. We did get a cup of coffee and a roll with garlic butter on the house.

Honestly, a wonderful discovery! We ate there and were greeted by very friendly staff. The wait time was perfect, neither too long nor too short. The meal was exquisite, especially a delicious kapsaloun shawarma. Since it was a little late, the atmosphere was intimate, which made the moment even more enjoyable and truly friendly.

The staff are always polite and friendly, so compliments on that! Yesterday, I had a delicious pasta dish that was delivered right on time, and I even got a free plain doner roll. It was a delicious combination and a huge portion of pasta! I ate the other half for lunch today. The pizzas are always great, and yes, the rest of the dishes are too. It's great that they're open until very late, but it gets very busy in the evenings, especially on weekends, so keep that in mind.

A shameful 3-hour wait for my order. When my order arrives, I'm still missing 3 dishes. When I try to call, they don't answer, and I pay 75 euros.

Today, August 3, 2025, I was on vacation at a different store, so I ordered here. I placed my order at 7:00 PM, the indicated delivery time was 1:00 PM. The tracking number in the email said it was delivered at 8:00 PM, but we still hadn't received anything. At 8:15 PM, I called, "Sorry, busy, bridge closed, blah blah blah!" Then they said the order would be shipped at 8:30 PM! At 9:05 PM, I called again to ask where our order was. There had been a mistake; it went out right away. Finally, our order arrived at 9:15 PM. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience at this store.

Disgraceful. After 2.5 hours, something was delivered completely cold and the customer was not compensated in any way. So sad.

Ordered but received nothing, very funny

Since they moved, I've been here twice now. It was mainly because the other shawarma restaurants were closed. I can't really say much more than that, saying the service was subpar both times. The staff was friendly, so that's not the problem. Both times I was there with friends, we had to wait an awfully long time. The first time, almost an hour and a half, and the last time, an hour. Of course, we understood the busyness, but you really can't let your customers wait that long. We weren't the only ones who had to wait an hour for their food. The rest of the restaurant wasn't busy, probably just the delivery service. A group of people who came in left after 20 minutes. You try to be understanding, but when you come in at 11:00 PM, thinking you're going to grab a quick bite, and then you don't get your food until after midnight, it's just not great. We won't be choosing this restaurant again anytime soon. After the first time, we kind of felt obligated to give it another try, but I'm done with it. I see a lot of the same reviews. I sincerely hope you manage to improve things.

Nice, atmospheric restaurant with friendly staff. I did have to wait a bit long for my order to arrive. Personally, I missed an onion, tomato, and cucumber in the kapsalon. Otherwise, the food was excellent and served on clean plates.

I've been coming here since the old location, when the food was delicious. It's steadily deteriorated. What happened today is simply unacceptable. I ordered a lamb shawarma dish and didn't receive any lamb. It tasted more like turkey, and the fries were ice cold. A real shame for such a lovely establishment.

I waited 2.5 hours for my food, while only a few people were sitting inside the restaurant, and they still claimed it was busy. It was a super unprofessional establishment. The kitchen wasn't organized, there was food all over the floor, and it was filthy. It was just a... mess.

After much effort, I finally got through on the phone, but that was completely useless. Empty promises, no solution, no compensation. This isn't service; this is contempt for your customer. A complete waste of time. We will never order from them again.

A nice and delicious restaurant. My boyfriend and I went here for dinner around 6:15 or 6:30 PM. It wasn't busy, and there were plenty of seats. We were allowed to choose our own spot. The restaurant looks cozy and neat. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable, and we received excellent service. We had a delicious meal, and we were served quite quickly, and the food didn't take very long. Compared to other restaurants in Spijkenisse, it took about the same amount of time to get our food, so there's nothing to complain about. In short, a nice and cozy place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

We've been ordering from here since our previous location in Spijkenisse. Recently, their staff has been incredibly unfriendly, and orders, regardless of size or time, take at least two hours. You can order by phone and they never show up, and if you call them, you're stuck on hold, followed by a voicemail... Disgraceful service. We were able to contact them the next day, but they didn't offer any customer service for the missed order, except to say they couldn't do anything for us and were too busy. Sorry, but they asked for my cell phone number when I placed my order. At least call back afterward instead of someone waiting. I ordered at 8:30 PM and ended up staying up until 12:30 AM, then I still hadn't received anything and was done with Orient. Where has the customer service of the past gone, and where have the people with brains gone?

Food was fine. But drinks were forgotten, and kitchen and service were a big mess. Waited more than an hour for shawarma. How hard can it be. Tables around us were also angry and disappointed. For regular customers there was plenty of time. Next time? No unfortunately.

We have been waiting for our order for literally 3 hours and the food is still not there! If you try to call the restaurant you are put on hold for 10 minutes and then they hang up. My order is still not there AFTER 3 HOURS. People do not order here! Read reviews on thuisbezorgd, google etc everywhere the same problem with waiting hours for orders and then arriving cold.

Really too bad this Ordered food, have to call back an hour later to have it delivered. Turns out the gentleman forgot to send it with the delivery person. This could be a mistake. No problem. But that my food arrives cold and wrong... well then it's over. I call about my complaint about cold and wrong food. The gentleman promises to "send me new.." (kept with a promise, the food never arrived)

I have been a customer at Orient in Spijkenisse for years, even since the old location. Over the years I've had several mediocre experiences, but I always let it go, mainly because of the friendly staff. But even that has now completely disappeared. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not so long ago I placed an order for delivery. After waiting two hours and calling three times, I was only told that they were now leaving. No excuses, no sense of responsibility. I then canceled the order. At that moment I remembered why I hadn't been here for so long. Still, I decided to give the restaurant one last chance. We came in around ten o'clock at night. It was almost empty, with only six guests, but it still took fifteen minutes before we got two simple cokes. The waitress had no idea what was on the menu. Not surprising, because the waitresses are replaced there every two to three months and it seems as if they don't know anything about anything. We then had to wait more than an hour for our food, which was also soggy and tasteless. We had to ask where our drinks were at least eight times. We had to wait another ten minutes at checkout. No one helped us, and in the end someone was literally counting up our order from a piece of paper. In the meantime, online orders were clearly given priority over people sitting in the restaurant. And even though there were only three tables occupied. And as if all that wasn't enough: a day later I'm sitting on the toilet for the fifth time and colleagues are wondering if I'm doing okay. To me it is clear. This was the last time. After many recommendations to others, that will not happen again.

Well it ALWAYS goes WRONG, here Blauwvoethoek 36 you even recognized my telephone number. Why does it always go WRONG, such a shame, your food is really ok but the order is never correct, I had to call again angry that I was missing something. The best part was that you recognize my phone so you know I'm calling. And of course it was solved again, but the roasted potatoes were quickly thrown away because I had already eaten the rest. Everything arrived. Delivery completed in 40 minutes. And when it comes to pizza, words cannot describe my joy. I must admit that this is the best pizza I have eaten in the Netherlands so far.

We had to wait 2 hours for our food. We called 3 times and were always told it was on its way. An 18-minute journey actually takes 45 minutes. And then you go to eat and the food is also cold. Scandalous! It may be busy, but that's not how you treat customers. They should have at least given something extra as compensation.

Always good in the past, but the last 2 experiences have been very dramatic. On average 45-60 minutes late. And things go wrong more often. Incomplete orders are promised to be delivered but this does not happen. Definitely not next time for us! There is also no excuse, just “busy”. Unfortunately, judging by the reviews, we are not the only ones. Use it to your advantage
