It's a shame you can't give zero stars. I had to wait two hours for my order on a Saturday. It was a burger menu twice. The wait time on the website was 50 minutes! Ordered at 5:30 PM, delivered at 7:30 PM. How can they do that?! The first phone call (after over an hour) told me a delivery driver had fallen down. I got the same excuse two months ago when there was a long delay. It can take a bit longer, I understand, but waiting two hours for food is outrageous. I spent the last half hour trying to reach someone by phone to complain, but answering the phone isn't one of their strong suits. What terrible service. There was also a piece of plastic between the bun and the burger (see photo).

Disappointing. Ordered spare ribs. After almost an hour and a half, we finally called to ask where our food was. They apologized and promised us a free dessert as compensation. The disappointment is twice as great when the promised desserts aren't included. The spare ribs weren't even particularly tasty, and the portions were meager. The garlic sauce we paid for was also a tiny portion. Last time we'll order from De Beren.

On September 10th, we ordered two satay dishes. We added a note requesting peanut sauce and onions separately. No peanut sauce was included when it was delivered. I called to say they would deliver the peanut sauce later. They were wrong, they should have exchanged everything. We waited 15 minutes for the peanut sauce to arrive; everything was cold, of course. We thought we'd try again on September 19th. We ordered two more satay dishes, again with the satay sauce and onions separately. When it was delivered, both dishes had the satay sauce poured over them. We immediately called to say they needed to exchange both dishes completely. We were told it would be taken care of. After more than half an hour, they arrived with only two trays of satay. I told the delivery person this wasn't the agreement; everything had to be exchanged. He called the delivery guy at my doorstep, the delivery guy in Zoetermeer at Van Leeuwenhoeklaan 6, and gave me the phone. I told him the menus would be completely swapped. He said, "My colleague must have misunderstood," but then he immediately said, "You could have already eaten the fries." I told him the fries were only a third of the bag. The delivery driver confirmed it was very little, so the person on the phone said, "I'll have some fries delivered later." Another half hour later. I'll never order from this branch again. It's a disgrace that they have such staff, and something can always go wrong. But twice with the same customer, who orders at least twice a month for around 40 euros. We've dealt with incomplete orders before. They only apologize for the inconvenience, but when their fries get cold, they're as tough as can be. No response or call, and then we don't order for a while and then you get emails saying, "We miss you," "You'll get a 25% discount on your next order," or something like that. No, just call. We can help you because you haven't ordered in a while. We'll send emails about it, but don't even mention compensation; they don't do that. To retain my customers, I would offer them their next order free of charge. Make notes on the profiles in your system for the customer accounts. Anyway, long story short, you won't respond anyway. But as you can read here in the Google reviews, you've lost another customer. You've lost us too. Your policy is very poor. There's even a woman working for you. If you complain, she'll just argue with you. How wrong and poorly trained are you? A very disappointed customer. Because a few years ago, things were always great and always went well. If there was an issue, it was noted and you received compensation, along with cups of ice cream to keep the customer happy. Have a meeting with all the staff and go back in time to when things were going well.

Last Friday, I placed an order for spare ribs, spicy chicken wings, and half a chicken. The spare ribs and spicy chicken were okay, but the half chicken and fries were terrible. The half chicken was burnt black and contained very little meat. The fries were cold and greasy. Only the applesauce was okay, but what can you possibly mess up with that?

The service from these guys is so bad. After waiting an hour and a half for our food, we received two chicken satays without the fries. After calling, they insisted on having fries delivered again when the satay was cold. We didn't think this was a solution because we wanted to eat together, so we asked for at least one chicken satay to go with it so we could eat it warm with the fries. The staff cut us off with the message that this wasn't possible, and then sent a courier to pick up the order. We were extremely disappointed in the bears!

We ordered food here, they indicated a delivery time of half an hour, eventually we called after an hour and were told that it was only then that it was being prepared, but that was a lie because 20 minutes later the doorbell rang and the food was ice cold and the bread had completely turned into a wet sponge, this had certainly been waiting for a long time. I don't think it's normal to ask for money for this!! What a bad ball tent this is, I recommend never ordering anything here!!!

Today I placed an order at De Beren on van leeuwenhoeklaan Zoetermeer. 1x spareribs menu bear spicy. It was very disappointing. The delivery person was not there yet. Expected delivery time would be 18:25. I don't hear anything. So I'm going to call. Yes, my courier is on his way. After waiting 12 minutes I was on the phone until I heard the doorbell. The delivery person no longer had a bear but a helmet and wished me a nice evening. Besides that you were 30 minutes late. The corn on the cob was cold from the refrigerator. Mayonnaise so little and the bread with aioli bread was overcooked. The spareribs are normally tasty but today it was inedible. I usually order via thuisbezorgd but today I ordered directly. It didn't taste good. It just wasn't tasty. And then I also gave a digital tip. Disappointing and not tasty.

Ordered, ribs with fries and medium rare steak with bread. Received on time (30 min) delivery person was ok. The food... the ribs are not the taste you order and at first glance cooked in water not tasty, the fries were limp should have been fried longer. The medium steak was raw and tougher than shoe leather, the bread was ok... for more than 40 euros for 2 people I will certainly never come back here, it was already a year ago so plenty of time to improve unfortunately, it was always good but the last 2 years it has been PET!

Ordered before 7:00 PM. 8:35 PM at home. Ridiculous Then you wait so long for your food, including a carpaccio salad. Which is just a bowl of arugula with 2 slices of carpaccio and a piece of dry bread. No dressing at all, oh but nasty cold bacon which doesn't go well with carpaccio at all. I don't understand how these types of restaurants can continue to exist. Wait an hour and a half+ and then the food is also mediocre to bad. Once and never again. I actually want my money back, but I have to collect it once. The Bears franchise should be ashamed.

If you want to eat the Bears hot, eat on site. Ordered more often, also from other Bears, and it is always cold and too late. 2x children's menu 2x satay menu €45.50, the satay was still fairly warm because of the aluminum foil surrounding the container. Ordered around 3:00 PM with delivery time of 5:45 PM because they are always late and lo and behold, the delivery person arrived at 6:00 PM. Wasn't known in the neighborhood (he can't do anything about it, really not his fault!), but his warming container was not closed (maybe it didn't fit?) and with the temperature dropping rapidly during this time, the food had become cold. It was nice, but with the electric bike it is 5 minutes from them to us and since he doesn't know the neighborhood maybe 10 minutes (but that's where phone holders are for the bike anyway) so it didn't necessarily have to be cold =)

Waited over two hours for the food. Employee 1 will be there shortly. Called again half an hour later, employee 2 is now being packed. Everything doesn't run very smoothly, that's the impression we got. Our evening took a turn for the worse because of this. Uber really indicated 30 to 45 minutes. Food quality mediocre. They are very economical with mayonnaise. Noord Aa Beren is really much better than the delivery restaurant.

Just ordered the Spicy Chicken Wings. No taste, no spice, smells sour like urine. Pink in color, yuck! I called and described it and asked if they could send something else. It would be my personal opinion because they are sold so much. I was able to get the same Chicken Wings so the price doesn't differ. 2 skewers are even less than those Chicken Wings, but that was not an option. I think poor service when it comes to food.

Ordered 2 menus of 40 today!! Euro Firstly, we had to wait 2 hours for our food. Called after 1.5 hours to find out what. It was said, the courier is on his way... well, nothing could be further from the truth because we live 5 minutes away and after 30/35 minutes the delivery person arrived. One of the menus consisted of a crispy chicken flatbread with tzatziki, it arrived without tzatziki. After all that waiting, I don't feel like chasing it anymore. At home I put garlic sauce on it pff. The other menu was chicken breast with fries. Arrived, pathetic slightly dry chicken. Want extra chicken satay? Strange indeed. And we had chili cheese nuggets and nacho cheese bites, both of which were missing the cheese filling.... also missing the mayo and applesauce. Considering all the reviews, maybe you should think about closing this store??!! We will go to the North AA where you will receive normal help and have a nice evening out. We will never do this again!!!

The following review is based on a previous / older experience but not yet posted online. At this... Bear delivery restaurant. How convenient is that! Simply order online (via the Beren website) and have it delivered to your home from a delivery restaurant. Unfortunately I received my menu later than planned. I had to call myself to request an update. Somehow I can understand the hustle and bustle, especially on a Friday evening with the often chosen time of half past five. Then received/delivered my order fifteen minutes later. Perhaps there is nothing to complain about when I read other reviews from people who had to wait much longer for it. Not everything was at the right temperature, fortunately not cold, but just missing that warmth you are used to from freshly delivered food. Furthermore, the food was tasty. Lots of fries and the tender chicken as I am used to from the Beren restaurant. For the same money you will have a better experience in the atmospheric Beren restaurants, which is definitely recommended. Unfortunately, my Bear Satay did not come with Bear socks, which I had hoped for and had actually opted for this home delivery service. I called to be sure and unfortunately found out that they were sold out. The employee came up with an almost unexpected, but for me nice solution to deliver some American cookies. Very friendly and customer-oriented solution. Somehow to my satisfaction, but as mentioned earlier, the restaurant experience is much better.

The food is genuinely excellent. And if you order during the week, they will be reasonably on time. Then it is all still acceptable, they are perhaps 5-10 minutes late with the delivery. It is clearly not what it used to be unfortunately, I used to order here (during the week) and they were often even too early, I live about 10 minutes by bike from their delivery location and they were there within 20 minutes. The employee said on the telephone that many of the old permanent staff no longer work there and the new staff are often inexperienced or have not been trained. This is (still) clearly noticeable in how they handle your orders nowadays, but also with you as a regular customer. I will definitely continue to order from here as I simply enjoy the food, but the service and reliable feeling of the past are long gone.

I went for lunch today. First you are looked at strangely and asked if anything is vegan. Answer: Just scan the allergen list. I did. Goes with everything: possibly milk. I'll report that back. Another scowl. I said, you can ask the chef if you have anything vegan. Whatever. Eventually she came back that they could make a salad. Well, mind you: I got a plate with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and a few croutons... no dressing, nothing. Afterwards I indicated that this really disappointed me. She also charged 7.50 for a plate of air! I told you, you could also have added olives, capers, peppers, olive oil, etc. Well, they don't have all that. Do you believe it? This is really unbelievable. Never come here again!

You will understand that we kindly thanked you for the discount voucher (for future orders) that was offered to us after the 5th phone call. Another small detail: the order was not complete, but we spared them that phone call. We will never order from here again.

If you can't do it, you shouldn't try. Fries are old, stuffed. Straight into the trash. Vegan burgers are not that complicated these days, especially if you barely put anything on them (see photo). Empty scanty sandwich nothing. Oh sorry we don't have vegan bacon, here you have some biscuits instead of the vegan bacon. Cookies with egg and milk...really?! Shame on you. €35 down the toilet. Too bad about this.

Ik had 2 saté menu's besteld van 2 stokjes, kwam ruim op tijd en de saté was heerlijk zoals altijd alleen erg jammer dat de salade er niet meer standaard bij zit. Maar het koste ruim 4 euro om het er wel bij te willen?! Het was normaal gesproken al geen grote salade dus 4 euro voor zo'n kleine salade vind ik wel erg overdreven voor een menu waar alleen patat en saté in zit voor 12.95. Erg teleurgesteld.

We hebben besteld en na 10 min was het er niet. Toen de laatste reviews gelezen en ik dacht dit komt nooit meer goed. Het eten was 15 later. Zondag. 1 menu sparribs en 1 hamburger menu met uienringen erop. De uienringen waren een en al beslag en de inhoud denk ik verdwenen? Er was veel patat en zou dit de volgende keer niet extra nemen. De salade als side dish is gefermenteerde salade als colslaw. Wij hebben gesmuld. En de revieuws hiervoor vielen dus mee in onze ogen.

We hebben er nu een aantal malen besteld, en ook diverse gerechten, vandaar ook nu pas een review. Helaas niet een hele positieve, laat ik voorop stellen dat de Beren bekend staan om hun Saté, maar ik moet zeggen dat de tijd van bestellen en/of de bezetting in de keuken blijkbaar verschil uitmaakt op het resultaat van het product. De kwaliteit komt niet overeen met de prijs die je ervoor betaald, het laatste was een mixed grill menu, deze was matig, droge kipfilet, en ook het andere vlees leek al langer of te lang te hebben gelegen op het vuur, in ieder geval was het niet genieten, soms viel het mee maar over het algemeen matig, wij gaan de Beren overslaan, en op zoek naar betere alternatieven.

Ik kom altijd in verwarring inzake hun omschrijving "franse frites of ambachtelijke frites". Bij franse frietjes denk ik toch echt aan de dunne "mac donalds" friet. Hierdoor bestel ik dus elke keer de verkeerde frieten (de ambachtelijk dus). En daar houd ik dus echt niet van! De Beren, doe hier wat aan. Dit keer ook maar een half zakje patat gehad bij mijn bestelling, terwijl ik een kerel ben van 90 kg. Beetje duur ook voor een half zakje patat met wat kipfilets.

Bezorger arriveerde na niet veel meer dan een kwartier bij mijn huis en was zeer beleefd. Het eten was warm en de biefstuk perfect gebakken op de manier waarop ik het gevraagd had (medium rare), hoewel er een onbekende soort saus over het vlees zat, waar ik niet om gevraagd had. Daarnaast waren de porties vrij klein. De mousse zag er chique uit en was vol van smaak, hoewel de koude (niet bevroren) structuur mij doet vermoeden dat hij eerder ingevroren was.

At the market, we had to wait a total of 48 minutes. People who sat down later even got their food first. When I asked if we could all have a drink as compensation, we only got one, a water. We were supposed to pay immediately, but the service took far too long. A major drawback!

Ordered yesterday at 4:53 PM. It was delivered at 7:05 PM. The sushi had slid to one side. It didn't look appetizing. I took pictures of it for a party and birthday. It really wasn't good. Think before you order!
