The wines are quite expensive—they could be a bit more affordable—and they're not all on the menu (so ask; the staff can help you).

We went to this restaurant yesterday and the food was absolutely delicious. The Indian flatbread with halloumi and fried eggplant was fantastic! The atmosphere was very cozy, lovely by the water, and the staff was very friendly.

Bij Fier is beautifully situated right on the water—a great location, especially when the weather's nice. The decor is tasteful and cozy, and you immediately feel welcome. We had the antipasti platter and the fries with Parmesan and truffle mayonnaise. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed the combination of crispy fries and the subtle truffle flavor. The service was friendly and attentive; overall, a very pleasant experience. We would definitely return.

Personally, I wasn't thrilled. I was very disappointed with the Club sandwich. But that might be because I'm used to better ones. No fries for this price. But that's just personal preference. 2 cappuccinos 2 sandwiches 2 ginger beers. 42 euros. The staff were very friendly.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our 10th anniversary at Fier. When we arrived, the venue was beautifully decorated. The buffet was delicious, and we were able to specify our preferences. There was also the option of a DJ playing in the evening. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Everything was perfectly organized. We'll definitely be back soon!

Had a delicious lunch at Fier. I didn't take a picture of the incredibly delicious chai latte, but I did take a picture of the pulled chicken on brioche. Definitely worth a visit.

Yesterday, my friend from Alkmaar and I ordered an Italian flatbread with mortadella, buratta, pistachios, and arugula with pesto dressing. The bread was drowning in sauce, and unfortunately, it didn't taste good. When the bread was delivered, the waitress didn't even bother to check if everything was to our liking. There was a large group inside, getting all the attention, and there was no one to be seen outside. At the cash register, we mentioned our disappointment with the bread. Stupid, we should have immediately mentioned what wasn't tasty. Unfortunately, once we pointed this out, we weren't offered any compensation, a voucher, or anything, which was very disappointing! She said she would "pass it on to the chef," but that doesn't help us as customers. The bread cost €11, the cola €3.50. (Times 2!) There were also no arugula or pistachios. A soggy bread for a lot of money. We left feeling very disappointed, which is not something we're generally accustomed to with the service provided by restaurants and/or cafeterias. We would definitely have returned if we'd received some kind of compensation. The location is beautiful, right on the waterfront.

I had an excellent meal here with a group of 10 people. Excellent pizzas and burgers. It is recommended to go for the full menu. Soup and bruchettas in advance, followed by main course and snacks and ice cream for dessert. Friendly hostesses and quick service. You can sit inside or on the water.

Cute little cafe/restaurant. Great ambience and nice service. When the weather is good you can also sit outside with a view of the boats.

Great celebration at Fier! Had a nice drink and a delicious meal from a tasty and original buffet. Attentive service and a very nice atmosphere. We have only received enthusiastic responses from our guests. We were completely unburdened, and because of that we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Top!

Ate here yesterday via social deal. Nice thing! We initially sat on chairs that were not very comfortable, but were allowed to change seats without any problem. We had both appetizer boards and the Fier burger. Good food, drinks also OK. Worth repeating.

Reserved via social deal. You have to ask for napkins and cutlery yourself. The bread on the snack board was burnt. Both ordered the beef burger, which were extremely raw. Asked if this was the intention, the answer was "eh, no". We had already eaten it by then... I felt nauseous at the idea, so I'd rather not have another one. Asked to take the dessert home, we were done with it. When paying, you can still pay for the full amount, 4 drinks + 2 cups of fries €27. No compensation, nothing at all. Wasted money. Pity. Definitely won't come here again.
