If you're in for a simply good, tasty and nicely presented meal, Bij Kobus is a great option. Service is good and very flexible, also for larger groups. For me Bij Kobus is a great example of how simply good beats overpromised fancy. THANKS Kobus and team!

Not our restaurant. Many customers come for the "all you can eat spareribs", but we don't. Mediocre quality and ingredients, unfortunately.

My husband and I had a delicious meal here tonight to wrap up our vacation! We started with carpaccio and tomato soup, followed by spareribs and sirloin steak as the main course. Everything was incredibly tasty and we really enjoyed it! 👌😄 A wonderful way to end our vacation. Highly recommended!

Not expensive, but good 😋 By far the best spare ribs, impeccable! Unlimited for €26. You can wake me up in the middle of the night for this. They are always good here; at other places it is sometimes less than perfect in between, but not here. The menu is traditional and good.

Four of us dined here last Saturday, and it was a truly wonderful experience. We had spareribs, devilish spareribs, and two satays, and everything was deliciously prepared. The meat was tender and flavorful. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and relaxed. The service was friendly and attentive, without being pushy. We didn't have to wait long for our food, which is always nice. All in all, we had a successful evening with delicious food and good service. Definitely a place we'll return to.

Nice, atmospheric location. Very friendly staff. We opted for the locally infamous homemade spareribs, and they were indeed delicious. A portion is already generous, but they're offered in unlimited quantities. Because they were so delicious, we ordered an extra piece, but afterward, we were completely full. Very welcoming, even for dogs. A fun and pleasant experience.

During our holiday at Landal Stroombroek, we dined at this fantastic restaurant twice. The first time was with our family (6 people), and the second time with the four of us (including our 2-year-old son). Highly recommended! Excellent quality and delicious food for everyone; our son had everything he needed. Very welcoming, with friendly and professional staff. We'd love to come back. The decor is a bit dated, but the personal approach doesn't detract from the atmosphere. Lots of options are available upon request. I got extra chocolate curls on my dessert ;-) When I ordered a regular Coke, did I actually get Coke Zero? The price of the food was excellent!

We'd never been here before, and we happened to drive past it. Since it was dinnertime, we walked in without a reservation. The menu was surprisingly good, with plenty of choices, and the staff were friendly and genuinely interested in their guests. We stopped at every table for a chat. You'd be hard-pressed to find one in Arnhem for that. Many of the staff don't even speak Dutch there, let alone show any interest in their guests. The food was excellent. The spareribs were excellent, and my wife's fish dish was also delicious. It was our first time, but definitely not our last.

Delicious food, food was great and all equally tasty, I had salmon fillet, which was so tender and the chive sauce was also delicious. Yesterday evening the two of us were guests of "Bij Kobus" in Zeddam (NL), which is located in the beautiful Monterferland. I've been a guest here for many years, but unfortunately I don't come here that often. We felt comfortable again as the ambience is simple but cozy. It was a pleasant background noise in which one could have a good conversation. We didn't make a reservation and spontaneously decided to have dinner here. This wasn't a problem and we were offered a table in the round dining room, which has a floor-to-ceiling window. We decided on the “Broodjes” in advance. Two different types of small rolls were served on a wooden board. There was also homemade herb butter and an olive tapenade, both of which tasted very good. For the main course, we both chose the spareribs, which the restaurant has been known for for years. These are offered with two different sauces. I have always preferred the spicy (pittig) sauce, which I find very tasty and not spicy at all, but which offers great spice and taste. My companion chose the normal seasoned sauce, which she really liked. We decided on the spareribs, which can be ordered indefinitely (on beperkt). Means that you can keep ordering until the last bone sticks out of your mouth and you no longer know how it's supposed to fit in. We each only ordered once and therefore each ate 2 racks. My companion asked for a second small rack, which wasn't a problem at all and they were happy to comply with their request. In the repeat order, which is requested by the service in between, you will receive a new plate when the repeat order is served. As side dishes there is a salad served on the first plate, as well as a bowl of fries with mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce. As always, the spareribs were very good and rightly enjoy a good reputation. What's on the plate with bones is worth it. The service was very friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. We'd love to come back.

And a year later, 11/16/2024, we ate there again; With a slightly larger group. Grandpa was 99 years old. And everyone is still very satisfied with the delicious buffet. Also the reception and service: nothing but praise. If he survives again this year, we will definitely come back!!!!!!!!!!!!We had dinner with a group of about thirty people, young and old. Great to have a party when Dad turns 98. He was very satisfied. But so do we, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Had a great buffet, something for everyone. This family business with father Hans and daughter is doing fantastic. Committed to the cause, keep it up!

Steak and rib eye nice and medium and juicy with healthy garnishes of vegetables and apple. The correct and friendly service makes the meal complete! Surprise yourself and settle down here.

Super cozy smaller restaurant with really great food We had tapas and a bread board beforehand, delicious! The lamb fillet melted in your mouth, my friend loved the spare ribs, which could be ordered in unlimited quantities, great! Waren net aan tafel was het bier op echt dramatisch, konden alleen exclusieve biertjes krijgen maar ook de prijzen werden exclusief door berekend, niet echt klantvriendelijk als je zelf in gebreken blijft

I wouldn't go there a second time. I was sitting overlooking a boy who was picking with a skewer in his mouth. Are distributed in the case. Let them do that at home!

Prima eethuis, eenvoudige kaart, attente vriendelijke bediening. Prijs/kwaliteit en portie voor hoofdgerechten is prima. Lekker verse salade en gebakken aardappeltjes erbij. Wetd regelmatig gevraagd of er nog iets aangevuld moest worden.Prijzen voor de koude en warme voorgerechten zijn te hoog voor hetgeen geboden wordt. De locatie is wel erg gehorig, lijkt wel of geluid versterkt wordt.

Een aantal keer gegeten hier nu, blijft een goed restaurant. De kwaliteit is goed, vriendelijk personeel en het is niet al te duur. Desalniettemin vind ik de ribs toch bij alle keren dat ik er ben geweest niet super mals en al helemaal niet makkelijk van het bot te halen.

In het verleden vaker geweest vanwege de spareribs. Nu was het eerste portie van de spareribs heel erg klein. De ober kwam vragen of alles naar wens was voor we nog maar een hap gehad hadden. Een tweede portie spareribs kwam pas nadat tafelgenoot reeds lang uitgegeten was. Zeer ongemakkelijk. Ook een manier om onbeperkt spareribs binnen de perken te houden. Dessert hebben we thuis maar genomen.

Vanavond onverwacht heerlijk gegeten. Service was goed. Eten voortreffelijk.

Wat een absoluut top restaurant. Wij hebben hier voortreffelijk gedineerd met zijn tweeën. De "salade bij kobus" als voorgerecht was erg lekker. De spareribs waren erg lekker evenals de lamsfilet. De dame blanche als dessert en het sortbetijs waren ook zeer goed. Er was goede service en de prijs was voor een drie gangen diner erg netjes. Kortom: echt een aanrader.

Het eten was lekker en goed bereid in een altijd prachtige gemoedelijk ambiance. Bediening doet veel om het je naar de zin te maken.

Om 6 uur aanwezig, pas 19.45 het hoofdgerecht... Ongeinteresseerde bediening, wel tig keer komen vragen of je iets wilt drinken, dat ging irriteren. In het verleden hadden we hier betere ervaringen.

Afgelopen zondag heerlijk gegeten met grote groep. Veel variatie op de kaart en uitzonderingen en rekeninghouden met dingen zoals lactose intolerantie goed opgepakt en snel geinformeerd. Het eten was heerlijk en er wordt niet zuinig gedaan. Prijs kwaliteit ook top! En tot slot is zelfs iets simpels als een stukje appeltaart een hele beleving! (zie foto) Wij hebben ons heerlijk vermaakt!

Deze review is gebaseerd op de laatste weken waarbij we een keer of 4-5 bij 'Bij Kobus' hebben gegeten. Pluspunten - De altijd vriendelijke serveerster. - Lekker eten en een constante (goede) kwaliteit! - Goede porties, niet te veel en zeker niet te weinig (onbeperkt bijgerechten en spare-ribs voor grotere eters). - Prettige, ontspannen sfeer en ambiance. - Lekkere toetjes. - Vriendelijke prijzen! Minpunten - Geen minpunten kunnen ontdekken. Bedankt Kobus!

Spare ribs waren super, bediening vriendelijk, rest van de kaart viel erg tegen. Klein stukje zalm en sate was ook erg karig.

Jeetje, wat hebben wij onwijs lekker gegeten . Baalde gewoon dat mij bord leeg was. Toetje idem dito. Mijn man had spare ribs . Is een kleine eter, maar nam nog een bord!! Zo mals goed van smaak. Ik had pittige kip en groentes. Even de naam vergeten. Personeel super aardig en attent en netjes!!! Jammer dat het ruim een uur rijden is..... Anders!!!!
