Very nice place. Food and service is great.

I met a friend here for lunch today and had a wonderful time. The service was very attentive and they took great care of us, even though it was very busy. I'll definitely be back.

A lovely atmosphere...delicious lunch dishes and top-notch service. The waitresses keep a close eye on everything. My husband had a delicious naan with salmon, and I had a meatball sandwich with satay sauce, onion, and cheese. Simply delicious. We'll definitely be back when we drive back from Germany.

There's not a whole lot to do in Didam, and Jan en Jan is, by Didam standards, one of the most atmospheric locations for a pleasant lunch, dinner, or drinks. Although you can also enjoy a delicious meal at "De Eetkamer." It's tied for first place for me.

A great location for a department outing! We were there on Friday afternoon. Nice and warm, not noisy, and the drinks platter was delicious! A great spot for a bite to eat and a drink. We'll definitely be back!

I had lunch here. I had a "12 o'clock" (parsnip and leek soup, a sandwich with ham, cheese, and a fried egg, and a sandwich with a croquette. Also, a small ball of beef salad and a small pile of lettuce), and my companion had two croquettes on bread. The portions were generous, nothing wrong with that. The (homemade) soup was delicious.

Went to lunch with a customer this afternoon, but when I asked them to cut the sandwich into pieces when I placed my order because I can't do it myself, they said it wasn't possible. I've never experienced anything like this before! Absolutely terrible!

Yesterday (October 5th) we celebrated Grandma's 93rd birthday at this location. The food was delicious and the drinks cold, the venue was fine with plenty of room for the children, but the service was subpar. The young man behind the bar didn't seem very happy and was gone half the time, so we sometimes had to get our own drinks from behind the bar. At a party with several elderly people, you expect table service. The dirty plates and glasses weren't actively cleared, so we often had to do it ourselves. Occasionally, a younger woman came to help, and she did a great job. The food and venue were fine, but the service was unfortunately subpar. We really missed some attention from the staff!

The food wasn't great. I got a stew with two pieces of greasy stuff in my mouth. Yuck, no vegetables, fries, and fried potatoes with the skins on. The dessert was practically melted, I could eat it with my spoon. I thought the chefs were really good.

Small private family party held in separate room at Jan & Jan with 23 people. Great service and hospitality. The food in buffet form was good and certainly also the desserts. Very satisfied and immediately booked again for next year.

Today visiting Didam and had lunch here this afternoon with the five of us. Beautiful terrace with a huge awning for shade. We were helped excellently and also had a delicious meal. One of the tastiest twelve hours (soup, ham/cheese/egg sandwich and croquette sandwich) that I have ever eaten.

Alles behalve lekker! Ik ben net mijn partner naar deze plek gegaan om lekker samen op een warme avond een hapje te eten. Ik kook zelf graag en kan goed eten echt waarderen. Maar de kwaliteit van het eten dat u hier krijgt is ver onder de maat! Ten eerste, wilden wij met voorafje beginnen. Ons werd verteld dat soep van de dag champignonsoep was, en dat in de zomer!!! Geen soep als starter dus. Als hoofdgerecht bestelde ik de garnalen spies, want vorige keer bestelde ik een biefstuk en dat was een smaakloze schoenen zool. Ik hoopte dat de garnalen het beter zouden doen. Mijn partner bestelde kip saté. Wij vroegen om gebakken aardappeltjes om voor erbij. De garnalen waren droog, niet gemarineerd en totaal smaakloos. De aardappeltjes waren naar alle waarschijnlijkheid opgewarmd, want ze waren donkerbruin van kleur, heel erg droog, niet gekruid, en mijn vermoeden is dat ze gewoon in frituur waren voorbereid. Een salade wat erbij geserveerd werd spande de kroon: nog nooit heb ik een verse salade van witte kool, geraspte wortel, gesneden PREI!!! en zilveruitjes en zonder dressing meegemaakt. Op het bord van mijn partner lag alles hetzelfde behalve de kipspiesjes bij hem en garnalen bij mij. Lekker creatief dus. Toen wij thuis kwamen heb ik een e-mail naar Jan&Jan gestuurd met mijn ervaring, maar heb nooit een antwoord op gekregen. Uiteten is altijd een beetje een belevenis, je gaat voor de gezelligheid en voor lekker eten. Mijn avond smaakte niet zo lekker, en dat is jammer, zeker als je daar goed voor betaalt. Het was voor mij de laatste keer dat ik naar deze plek ging. En mijn advies is om daar niet voor een hapje eten naar toe te gaan, misschien voor een drankje.

Nice place to sit both inside and outside for something to eat but also just a nice cup of drink. Our dogs often come here to train, it is always done well.

I am still angry about the steak that was supposed to be medium rare, but was just overdone. You should first put a steak on high heat to make the edges crispy, and then later cook it on low heat. These were just cooked on low heat for half an hour. No crispy edges and not chewy! Nothing was good. No idea how this restaurant can exist. I will warn the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority

This afternoon we had a nice time on the terrace with Jan and Jan. It was Didam op Stelten, so there was a nice atmosphere. There was musical accompaniment and great service 🥂🍹🍸

I recently had a delicious meal at Jan & Jan. I sat outside on the attractive terrace and enjoyed a delicious meal. Delicious meat cooked correctly and supplemented with vegetables that enhance the flavor of the meat. Just what I like. Then I sat on the terrace with my family for a while and enjoyed my favorite cocktail, the Long Island Ice Tea. The service was correct, friendly and helpful, so I will definitely go to Jan & Jan more often.

De bediening was zeer attent. Het diner was heerlijk wat hebben we genoten. Eerst een kom tomatensoep en mijn partner een bord carpaccio. Daarna heerlijke Scampi spies met patat gebakken aardappelen salade en rabarber en toe appelkruimel cheesecake en sinaasappel creme brulee. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Had a wonderful evening with high beer and high wine. Very nice concept and the beers tasted good again, nice way to get to know new beers. The snacks are always good here too! We first sat near the lounge/fireplace, it was very warm, even when they had turned it down. We were offered a place in the living room, a nice cozy room.

Dacht een leuke locatie, maar het terras lag gedeeltelijk in de zon. Toen ik de eigenaar vroeg of de dak parasol iets omlaag mocht zodat ik in de schaduw kon zitten, werd er hardop gezucht dat ik niet zo moest zeuren, omdat er nu eindelijk zon was. Ik moest maar met mijn drankje, broodje en kussentje verkassen naar de andere kant van het terras in de schaduw. Sorry wat?? Toen ik zei dat dat niet echt klantvriendelijk was kreeg ik als antwoord:" graag gedaan"... Wat een eikel van een vent! Uiteraard broodje en drankjes betaald en ergens anders gezelliger verder ons diner voorgezet! Dus ik raad dit restaurant niet aan. Ook erg jong, ongeïnteresseerd personeel wat slecht kijkt!

Today we enjoyed a delicious lunch with the department before participating in a team building session in the upstairs meeting room. Excellent service and friendly staff. Food quality was very good. The size of the meeting room was more than sufficient for our team.
