A lovely cafe we stopped at while driving through. Very friendly and inviting staff and the food was delicious and filling. A cozy atmosphere whether outside in the fresh breeze or inside where it is cozy. Would recommend stopping in here for lunch.

Anyone who reads my reviews sees that we are quite critical. This is really a top-top business!! Nice atmosphere, good quality food and super service.

Cozy atmosphere and a delicious lunch. The tea menu with all the different fresh teas is really great, you get your own jug from which you get 2 cups! My partner and I both spend 12 hours. The soup had a good flavor and the carpaccio had a fresh dressing, and the croquette was also well filled with pulled pork. The Biesbosch in moss on the wall and the coins in the bar complete the atmosphere. Went again 8 months later and it's still just as tasty and enjoyable! Now the sandwich with egg on top, delicious! (repost because Google did not want to upload the addition from 8 months later) Since those two times I have been a few more times and each time it has been wonderful and enjoyable. When I travel south from the Rotterdam area, I try to take my lunch break here ^_^ 04-18-2025 I keep coming here and it remains wonderful and so cozy. Got to test a new one today and it is also delicious! A kind of pasta/pizza sandwich with Joke's homemade pesto and ragout, you can taste it! (Photo added)

Always had a delicious meal there... but the reservation for a high tea baby shower was very disappointing. Price agreed but 4 days before the start an email with a price increase. Didn't agree, an agreement is an agreement, black and white. Late new menu with price changes (nothing has changed on the site) was the cause. Not acceptable to us so we canceled. Lage Zwaluwe is a village…. and then I hear that it was my fault and that the lady herself canceled our reservation 🤷‍♀️. And that my emails were not “friendly”. Upside down world and certainly not professional…. Very disappointing . I wasn't planning on doing this review, but when I heard what was said... Bah... such a shame and there is a lack of business insight towards customers and agreements. No more steps over the threshold for us......

Booked a baby shower high tea for today in October. Price agreements made and everything confirmed by email. Last Wednesday (end of February) the owner suddenly received an email stating that there would be a price increase of €3 per person for Sunday. The money for 17 people had already been collected (4 days in advance) and a joint gift had already been purchased. The fact that the indexation was communicated so late while price agreements had been made turned out to fall on deaf ears. No willingness to think along. Things are apparently less well organized than the lady makes them seem. I wasn't planning on posting this, until we learned that she had completely distorted the story to others... luckily we all have the email exchange in screenshot. As well as the price on the website, which has still not been adjusted to date... That's not how you treat customers. Luckily we had a super fun afternoon at another place nearby!

Have eaten at BijOns many times and always a nice experience. The food is delicious, and they rightly end up as one of the best lunchrooms in the Netherlands every year. Make sure to book in time if you want to be sure of a place, because it is almost always completely full.

I've had the new special Panino Caldo Con Carne. This is a delicious hot meat sandwich, with mushrooms, onion and peppers on a hard roll. It was a delicious combination of flavors with a fresh note.

Camped at “The Camping in the Polder” A lot for little. What a nice atmosphere... the owners (livestock farmers) are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were very clean and tidy. Also has a shop where you can order fresh hot rolls in advance for the next morning. Very spacious campsite with many nice places and the surroundings next to the Biesbos Nature Park with their small villages were beautiful. A campsite to visit more often.

By far the best bouncer ever eaten. Great atmosphere, very cozy. You should definitely visit.

Went by today 25.12.23, and on Google it was open, and on site it was closed. Large closed sign in front of the door. Despite that, there was a light inside. Such a shame. Missed another lunch...

Gezellige brasserie, met fijne bediening en lekker eten.

Met 6 man een eenvoudige lunch genuttigd. Alles was goed verzorgd. Een capicino werd bv geserveerd met klein glaasje water, een glaasje slagroom en een lekker koekje. Bediening was vriendelijk en attent. Binnen waren alle tafels bezet, maar buiten was het ook goed toeven. Aanrader!

Een middagje weg met vriendin. Heerlijke versgemaakte Piña Colada's gedronken en een Strawberry Mojito. Met een luxe borrelplank "Aan de Gaete" erbij. Heerlijk. Mooie, sfeervolle zaak en vriendelijke eigenaren.

Een ontzettende sfeervolle knusse plek waar wij wekelijks komen. Er wordt overal evenveel aandacht aan gegeven, de koffie is een feestje en de lunch een beleving!

Gisteren hier toevallig beland. Wat een heerlijk plekje. Een prachtige zaak, sfeervol en zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Lekkere koffie, smoothies en dan die borrelplank…! Wij komen hier zeker terug.

Heel gezellige brasserie, vriendelijke en vlotte bediening, lekkere verse en mooi gepresenteerde maaltijd! Wij maakten hiervoor een omweg tijdens onze fietstocht en dit was het meer dan waard! Doe zo verder 👌

Mjummie mjummie. Kom hier regelmatig. Het is echt altijd lekker en gezellig. Fijne ontspannen service zodat je je gelijk thuis voelt! De cocktails zijn ook heerlijk!

De plek waar gastvrijheid en gastronomie samen komen. Heerlijke gerechten, ook uit de streek, waar zichtbaar veel aandacht aan wordt besteed. ‘Het oog wil ook wat’; is hier zeker van toepassing…. Of het nou om een cappucino of een broodjje hamburger gaat, het is altijd een plaatje om voor je neus te krijgen en aansluitend een genot om te consumeren. We komen hier graag voor een (late) lunch, een bakkie koffie of een borrel met heerlijke bites… Daarnaast zijn er ook regelmatig thema middagen, waarin we het ons graag laten smaken

Heerlijk eten wat met liefde en zorg wordt gemaakt! Warme, sfeervolle zaak met eigenaren en personeel die hart hebben voor hun zaak! Bij Ons Lage Zwaluwe voelt echt als BijOns!

Vriendelijke bediening, de menu kaart staat vol met lekkere dingen. Brasserie ligt aan de rand van een prachtig natuurgebied, je kunt hier een elektrische fiets huren en de omgeving mooi verkennen, echt een aanrader voor herhaling vatbaar!

Prachtige lunchroom iedere zaterdag koffie met gebak gezellige gast vrouw/heer. Op zijn tijd eens lunchen en een heerlijk (speciaal) biertje nuttigen. Tis goed toeven BijOns.

Een echte aanrader!! Wij hebben er in de avond gegeten toen we getrouwd zijn, dus een extra speciale avond!! Alles was mogelijk en bespreekbaar, het is een heerlijk menu geworden!! Sfeer en service waren fantastisch! We hebben heerlijk gegeten, gezellig geborreld na afloop, het was een topavond!! Maar, ook echt een aanrader voor de lunch!! Iedere keer weer heerlijk eten in een sfeervolle, gezellige zaak!

Wij verbleven enkele nachten in de bijbehorende en ook geweldige B&B "Zen" en hadden het voorrecht om in deze sfeervolle brasserie te ontbijten. Was elke morgen een feestje ! Ook en met name door de uitbaters en het personeel die er duidelijk zin in hebben. Lekker biertje op de tap, erg goede koffie en thee, prima lunch. Pure verwennerij !

Supel leuke, gezellige, hippe en sfeervol ingerichte brasserie. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en echte ambassadeurs van het dorp en de omgeving. Ik zou iedereen aanraden om hier eens te gaan eten/drinken!

Gegeten een kwetteraar (tosti), deze was met pesto, kaas en ham. Bovenop gesmolten kaas en tomaatjes. Keuze uit wit of bruin brood. Lekkere dikke plakken. Precies goed van hardheid, kleur, geur en smaak. Geserveerd met een leuk hapje verse salade. Prjs leek bij bestellen aan de dure kant, maar achteraf was het dat zeker waard. Daarnaast keuze uit diverse thee. Leuk ingericht. Ik kom graag nog eens terug.

Un sitio muy acogedor, el personal muy amable y el café excelente.

Gezellige lokatie voor lekker eten een gezellige borrel en verrassend overnachten !
