Basically - this is the platonic ideal of coffee shops. Such a cozy, warm, accommodating vibe in all aspects, from the choices made in the interior design / decor and colours used everywhere, to the healthy and delicious comfort food they serve, to the super super friendly, genuine and warm staff and owner that are always up for a chat. Been all over the world, this is one of my favourite such spots, if not my fave. Such a "little sanctuary" vibe. Great spot to journal, study, work at. Set up in a way where even if it were a bit busier inside, you'd still not easily feel crowded. Oh and their resident coffee guru reeeaaally knows his stuff - they always have their house blend (which is great and perfectly balanced to please all tastes), and one rotating bean type that differs each week. Try out a cortado with a unique bean some time and really taste some interesting flavours! I'm sipping one now that's got a hint of magnolia in it, no joke!

Hands down my favorite coffee spot in Nijmegen. Staff is always super friendly and in my opinion they serve the best coffee in the whole neighborhood. Just one suggestion: adding coconut milk as an alternative milk option would make it absolutely perfect :)

Incredible coffee. Absolutely smashing. The best beans with the matching knowledge on how to handle them. The toasties and rendang sandwich are nice but I wouldn't get it again. The flavours don't quite hit the spot but I'm excited to taste other things on the menu. Overall a top notch addition to the neighbourhood.

The kimchi sandwich was delicious. Definitely recommended. Billy's is a charming coffee shop and one of my favorites in Nijmegen.

Love, love, love this fabulous cafe! The staff are amazing and the food delicious 😋. The coffee tea options are vast and there are plenty of homemade baked goods. It’s so refreshing to come across a cafe this good that has a ‘No Laptop’ policy. Plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing and watching the world go by. Highly recommend you pay a visit to this amazing cafe.

Small place, always almost full but h Finding a place to sit is not such a problem but being noticed is. I sat here in the morning but 2 waitresses looked at me , and just kept walking by me..no good morning, nothing so I had a bad feeling but then finally a young lady asked me if I would like to order ( no, I was just sitting there all dressed up just to sit and look pretty 😀). But seriously, I am a coffee fanatic and it HAS to be decent ..it was BARELY decent..espresso... double espresso but SOUR! Acidic ..too much oxidation or low quality beans but nooo. i only drank it because I neeeeeeed my fix .my drug..but I am too polite to send it back and demand a decent espresso..Then I remember that I am in the Netherlands and honestly..most places cannot make good espresso....pfff. Morocco and Spain and Italy and Portugal make the best coffee.. OK. I wanted to order pastries... something sweet to go with my sour coffee, but the waitress said I should go look at the vitrine to see what they have. I gathered that they either change their supply regularly or that this young lady didn't know what they have. Not on the menu? But anyway, I saw that the pastries were realllllly good...churro cookie with cream filling.. pistacho and chocolate cookie with cream....yummmm. So, these were so good..(hence 3 stars) but the Coffee is NOT good and it's probably due to oxidation either from machine and/or poor quality beans. So, overall, it is barely ok place..new in my neighborhood but hyped...not a café if coffee is barely drinkable.. OWNERS AND MANAGERS: PLEASE CHECK YOUR COFFEE QUALITY...SOURRRRR. ZUUUUUR Also, no sugar was offered or given with my espresso...look at photo....pfff Also, never did I get menu or asked if I wanted to eat breakfast...maybe I would have liked it..but not given a menu ....hmmmmm. Missed chance A bit strange to not get a menu or be greeted properly after sitting. A friend joined me too and he agreed that coffee neeeeeeds help.. He had cappuccino and said it was OK. Yeah milk sweetens.

Very nice place! Food is prepared (and served) here with attention and love, and you can taste it. In addition, the coffee and cakes are also of very good quality. Really enjoyed it, thanks Billy's!

Billy's is the type of place where you feel at home. The owners were welcoming and friendly and they made an awesome specialty fredo cappuccino for us. They told us how they were able to capture a nostalgic atmosphere at the shop and how their logo and branding was handmade. The attention and love to their spot was evident and it showed. That is why we felt at home. Wish we could stay more. Looking at the pics now I have a tremendous desire to get the car and drive ~20h just to go at Billy's.

One of those perfect places! Really good coffee, amazing food and a nice atmosphere. The food looks especially gorgeous, has original ingredients and tastes really good. Cozy and alternative vibe that fits the town perfectly. Worth visiting, even if it's slightly outside of town. One of those must visit coffee places that every town should have!

Their food is great! I love the furnishing of the store. Honestly their attention to detail is wild and everything is on brand. I had a great time studying in their cafe. There were various visitors of all ages and professions. There were some quieter moments but even in their lunch peak the service didn’t falter and everyone kept a smile. Definitely a place I’d love to visit often.

The rendang sandwich from Made By Marn is one of the tastiest sandwiches in a long time. Highly recommended! The atmosphere is also good, so is the coffee. Sometimes the wait is long, so don't go here "quickly" during your break. If you have the time, it's worth the wait.

•Study place series• Can you study here with a cup of coffee and something tasty? The answer is yes and no. So they have a laptop-free policy on weekends and during the week there are special tables to sit with your laptop. I don't know how strict they are about this, but I had to leave when I arrived there with my laptop. But if you are allowed to sit here with your laptop, it is a great place. All in all, if you really want to study here for an hour or 2, it requires some effort and luck and as a student you don't always feel like/have time for that. So for the “study place series” it is a 5/10

We arrived on a busy day and the service was still very friendly and helpful, they also indicated that it could take a little longer, but that didn't matter at all because we were sitting on the terrace! Coffee here is always delicious and of high quality and the lunch was not only super tasty, but also beautifully prepared. Even when it was very busy, the atmosphere was relaxed and everything we ordered was delicious! Highly recommended to have a nice lunch here 💜

Best Café I visited for a long period of time. They offered (only) light roasted Coffee: Washed and Natural. Very friendly and great ambience.

I went there a while ago, on my day off, to have a relaxing coffee read my book and draw a bit. I found a great seat by the window and I was ready to order. When I starting drawing, someonesomeone working there told me I couldn't do that in that seat cause from outside it looked like I was "working" because I was drawing on my tablet instead of paper. So either I should stop drawing or seat to a communal table in the center of the room. To be honest this is the first time that I encounter such situation.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff (ask them something about coffee ;)) plus a warm and neat interior and good quality food and drinks make this hip coffee shop an asset to Nijmegen East in my opinion

Cozy place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Extensive menu with various drinks and snacks. Cake and cakes were excellent. Unfortunately today we ran out of some things such as black tea, a small downside. Furthermore, very friendly staff.

Your new favo coffee place in Nijmegen just outside the city centre. Offers exactly the coffee or tea you'r looking for and the taste full treat, lunch or breakfast to go with it. Lovely atmosphere, kind crew and fair prices. Small terrace in the front for those beautiful days. No laptops during the weekend 👍

Excellent coffee. Could be served a little warmer, but the taste is certainly good. Friendly service staff. Tip to the owner; there are whore “laptop free tables”. Okay in itself. Everyone can decide for themselves. It is useful to provide the tables that you are allowed to work on with a socket. The laptop-free tables did have these.

My journey through the world of specialty coffee led me to @billys_specialtycoffee, a recommendation I owe to the insightful barista at Gesha. Stepping into Billy’s felt like walking into cozy bar for any coffee lover, especially for someone like me who has a soft spot for @blommerscoffee roasts – their craft is nothing short of magical. With a warm welcome from the waiter and the barista’s invitation to take in the aromas of their coffee selection, I was in my element. The ability to smell before choosing is a ritual I adore. My choice? The Bombe - Ethiopia. The promise of strawberry, mango, and fig notes had me intrigued, and the reality was a harmonious blend of subtlety and flavor – not as pronounced as other Ethiopian varieties I’ve tasted, yet oh so delightful. The best part? The barista joined me later, sharing a moment to talk about the nuances of the coffee, a gesture that made the experience at Billy’s truly special. To ease off the caffeine high, I ended with a cappuccino. Though the blend’s name escapes me, the taste lingered pleasantly. Every sip at Billy’s was a step further in my coffee adventure, a reminder that the joy of coffee is as much in the cup as it is in the connection and conversation it brews.

Chill, relatively cheap and just a little bit different. Recommended: espresso with ginger beer (if you like iced coffee and ginger) or espresso with tonic (if you like iced coffee but not so much ginger).

A new place where you immediately feel at home on the already bustling Daalseweg, Billy's coffee. Everything is right here, the attractive decor (with that beautiful mural!), the friendly, attentive service and the extensive range of coffee, tea and non-alcoholic drinks. There is also plenty of choice on the menu, savory (we enjoyed sourdough bread with salmon and Rendang baguette) or sweet from the cake display. We would love to come back here for breakfast or lunch!

What a great place this is! So happy with this new wonderful spot in Nijmegen East. Really tasty coffee and a much too tempting display case full of fresh cakes and tarts. But the main reason I keep coming back here is lunch. No average menu, but innovative, original sandwiches to die for. I am a big fan of the rendang myself😋. Keep up the good work Billy's!

Really enjoyed it! Cozy place, pleasant staff, they really think along with the choices you want to make. Ate the French Toast, delicious! The Flat White with oat milk was delicious, and there was also a choice of beans that they thought along with you! The filter coffee at the end was nice to sit for a while and finish your conversation. If they didn't close at 5 I would have liked to stay a little longer!!

Nice to have had a coffee once, but that's it. It is a pity that you have to pay to park there - at the city center rate too - if you come by car. I didn't like the coffee very much, it was flat in taste. And a Hague cup of coffee. It's nice that you immediately get a glass of water when they come to take your order. The blueberry cake was tasty and sliced ​​nice and thick. But all in all I didn't think it was completely worth the money.

What a nice thing. Small, clear menu for food and drinks. Very friendly service. Very tasty meal. Top. The only small point of improvement; when the front door opens, you really feel the cold rushing in when you sit there. Since it is very busy here, the door opens regularly.

Super friendly and warm people there, with super smooth taste cappucino, and awesome croissants and French toast. They have a collection of kids’ toys at a cute corner, my little boy had a nice time there, so did us as a consequence;) Highly recommended! And glad we find our cafe place to go.
