Bistro de Umbelder in Wijk 11 Weert-Centrum

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst bij aankomst. Hebben lekker in de zon op het terras gezeten. Hebben de mosselen gegeten die waren heel lekker. Bediening was attent en snel. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

We stopped by here during a bike ride on our vacation in Ospel. Lovely terrace, but also cozy inside, friendly service, tasty non-alcoholic cocktails, and truly delicious food! Especially that delicious dessert with caramel ice cream in white chocolate 😀😋

Had dinner with 4 people, very atmospheric and cozy place. Lunch menu has many original options, lots of choice. Very good price/quality ratio.

Delicious meal with the family. All 4 dishes were tasty, the vegetables had a fresh bite and the gravy/sauces had a rich flavor. Upon arrival, we received a friendly greeting and were soon shown the drinks/menu menu. We were well taken care of all evening, the atmosphere is homely, which I personally like very much. Will without a doubt eat here again when we are near Weert.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en zijn goed bediend. We hebben met z’n vieren aan de ronde tafel gezeten, wat erg gezellig is. Ruime menu keuze. Vegetarische opties zijn ook overheerlijk. Wij hebben genoten van het eten, drinken en de gehele sfeer eromheen.

Zondag met 2 personen gaan lunchen bij de Umbelder in Weert. We waren zeer teleurgesteld in wat we kregen. Lunch was een 12 uurtje, we kregen een soepje, dat smaakte lekker. Daarna brood met een viskroketje, dit was teleurstellend. Viskroketje was koud, lag op een dun sneetje brood wat niet vers was. Daarbij een grote kom sla met zeer weinig vis, sla was droog en garnalen taai. Bij vraag of alles naar wens was hebben we aangegeven dat het niet lekker was, bediening was vriendelijk maar gaf alleen aan dat ze het door zouden geven aan de kok. Daar heb je op dat moment weinig aan! Wij komen hier nooit meer terug.

Heerlijk eten maar vooral persoonlijke en bijzonder vriendelijke service. Ik kom regelmatig voor werk in Weert en eet hier dan af en toe, een bescheiden kaart qua keuze, maar één voordeel: er zit niets slechts bij, alles is heerlijk. Hele vriendelijke dames in de bediening, vaak nog even een kort praatje enz ofwel échte aandacht voor de klant. Ik zal hier zeker nog regelmatig terugkeren.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is truly delicious! However, the young man serving wanted to take the plate away from my table companion while she was still eating and we thought this was really inappropriate. Asking first would have been polite.

Tonight we had dinner at the very end after a long weekend in Limburg. We had first made a reservation at t Zusje, but the dog was not allowed in there. When we arrived after a visit to the outlet in Roermond, we recognized it immediately. We also had lunch here on Saturday. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the dishes, but the hare pepper and deer back were wonderfully tender and the Grain Fed sirloin steak was also wonderfully tender. We were also served delicious fresh vegetables and fries. The service was very friendly with a lot of expertise. We will definitely come back here when we visit Weert or the surrounding area again.

Price-quality good. Delicious fresh vegetables instead of the standard lettuce that is served at most restaurants. Angus steak wonderfully tender. Just a pity that it had not rested enough and bled, causing it to end up in the sauce. Nice ambiance and nice service. We'll come back again.

Bief niet mals . IJs coupé Umbelter : wit ( nietszeggend kommetje met twee bolletjes ijs wat slagroom en iets van caramel crunch op de bodem , dit mag je echt geen coupe noemen en een gemiste kans zeker als je de naam van de zaak eraan verbind . Personeel zeer vriendelijk

There was no issue getting a table for 1 and the staff all spoke good English. I was sat at a lovely table facing the street, so I could people watch! Offered a drink and told about the soup of the day. I ordered the soup to start and the salmon for mail with a portion of fries. Soup was so tasty and the garlicky cream cheese with a roll was also really good. The salmon main was brilliant and so was the size of the portion of chips! Cooked to perfection the salmon just flaked apart. It was quiet in the restaurant- not many customers, but it was early ish on a Wednesday. There is a lovely area out front to sit and eat also. Nice easy listening background music playing. Would definitely recommend this place. I’m here for work and will possibly go back again on this trip as I like the sound of the steak!

Vandaag met 6 personen genoten van een heerlijk '12 uurtje'. Eerst een smaakvol kopje bloemkool-kerrie soep, daarna een donkere boterham met een garnalenkroket/sausje, een vissalade met een scampi, kleine garnalen, makreel en rucula, om tenslotte na te genieten met een cappuccino die goed op temperatuur was en voorzien van een stevige melkschuim. Vlotte, vriendelijke bediening. We zaten met z'n allen aan een ronde tafel en hebben genoten.

Nice restaurant. In a nice place, service fast and friendly. Food was good and tasty. 4 stars because we found the smoking of fellow guests to be a nuisance while eating. If they would introduce a smoking ban, it would definitely be worth 5 stars!

Een echte aanrader in de binnenstad van Weert! Bediening is erg vriendelijk en het eten is er echt helemaal topp! Ook een leuke locatie om nog even na te borrelen.

It was ver-delicious! Paired with delicious wines: Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Grigio, a Malbec and a Chardonnay from the Languedoc. The dessert no longer fit. Shame!

Walking through the city center of Weert, the well-stocked terrace of 'De Umbelder' attracted us. Soon the host was at our table. Even faster, but not without losing sight of the quality, he informed us about the authentic dishes served there. We were very pleased with this. As well as our neighbors (a table next to us) who clearly could not hide their appreciation. Our choice was an Argentinian Rib-Eye. This turned out to be an excellent choice, because above all the meat was juicy and tasty, the green asparagus was also perfectly grilled. Of course we couldn't pass up the irresistible dessert called 'Coup d'Umbelder'. An unexpected pure classic in the city center of Weert!

Lovely terrace. Insanely juicy Angus beef burger!!! All very tasty. Smooth and friendly service. Glad we chose this terrace. Enjoy a pleasant dining out experience. That's how it can be done, on all points and with a 5 star score.

Delicious lunch with 7 people, Everyone got a cup of coffee over my shirt, t-shirt and pants due to an error by the service, the only thing that happened was sorry, it was my mistake and a few cloths to wipe something, too bad it could have been solved differently.

Cozy restaurant in the center of Weert. We went there for dinner without making a reservation. I can imagine that this is necessary during the weekend. Nice atmosphere, friendly and cooperative service and it's very nice that they let you eat in peace and don't have to stand at your table all the time. We had the Avocado burger (vegetarian, there is also a vegetarian dish, namely ravioli with mushrooms) and the chicken satay. Both very tasty prepared! We had a nice cappuccino (with an extra shot of espresso, absolutely great). We paid €56.50 including tip for 4 drinks, 2 main courses and 2 cappuccinos. Delicious food, highly recommended!

Quiet, beautiful bistro where you can sit comfortably with many people without being bothered by each other. Chocolate milk with real milk and chocolate flakes. Cakes also delicious

Relaxed cafe/restaurant with very nice staff. Tasty things on the menu for both lunch and dinner. Also good vegetarian dishes. When the sun is shining it is lovely on the terrace, otherwise it is also cozy inside. The interior has now changed compared to a few years ago when there was a large room table in the middle where all kinds of people could sit at the same time; it's gone now. There are now more smaller tables.
