We had a delicious meal at Bistro het Vervolg in Schinveld. Both the salads and meat dishes looked fantastic and were beautifully presented. There was plenty of choice for the kids too. Additionally, there is a nice dessert menu with surprising tea and coffee platters, which are highly recommended. A lovely atmosphere and friendly people. In short, highly recommended!

Had lunch today at the cozy Bistro. The food was delicious and the service friendly. The dishes were presented in a cheerful, colorful way. They are accommodating regarding allergies (celiac disease and lactose intolerance), and it's great that dogs are welcome too!

Last night, we had a lovely dinner with the set menu for 4 people. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. My lamb chops were exceptionally tender and perfectly prepared. All in all, we had a very tasty meal in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. The value for money is excellent. 👍

Truly delicious, authentic food, prepared by the chefs themselves. The spareribs are super tender, yum yum! Just like the homemade Limburg sour meat. The bistro is cozy and comfortably furnished, and the service is top-notch! The owners regularly stop by to chat with guests.

On Sundays, an extensive breakfast buffet—too much to list—is highly recommended. I emailed a week ago about a lavish gift dinner for someone who has done a lot for me. Still haven't heard anything. Very clumsy and nonchalant. The communication is absolutely terrible. Update: Sent an email via Gmail to: bistrohetvervolg@brenkberg.nl. Delivered according to Google. .....like, like, like. That's not much help when the consumer is doing everything wrong, according to the business owner. Reading other reviews, it seems as if the business owner is struggling to accept that they might be wrong.

Last Saturday, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Bistro De Volgen. The welcome and service were very friendly, and the lunch dishes were also delicious and beautifully presented. The location, with its lovely, clean terrace, surprised us and we'll definitely be back.

The seven of us came to the restaurant to celebrate something: two birthday boys had invited us for a nice, festive afternoon. The food was really delicious and we all enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the afternoon did not go as planned. During the serving, one of us spilled something on her trousers. Something was said about it, but this was completely ignored — no apologies or further attention for the incident, which surprised us. At the end of the lunch, one of the birthday boys wanted to make a short speech and tapped her glass (perhaps a bit hard) to get attention. However, the owner immediately came to our table in an irritated manner and indicated that his staff would not respond to that if we wanted to order something. Although we can understand that he thought this was meant for the staff, this could have been communicated in a friendlier way. What happened next really disappointed us: we were completely ignored for the rest of the time. No one came to our table anymore, which clearly seemed a deliberate choice. When paying, the owner literally remained out of sight, while a waitress handled the payment. It is a shame that an otherwise beautiful afternoon with delicious food had such an unpleasant aftertaste. Hospitality is at least as important as the food, especially on a special day like this.

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. I live in Schinveld myself and had never been here before, so it was about time. Went here for lunch with friends. It had just been renovated, cozy atmosphere, food was excellent. After one dish, I can't really give an assessment of the food here. I can only say that what I forgot was tasty and fresh. Staff were friendly. Addition: we ate here yesterday with former colleagues. Food all looked very good. The veal escalope itself was very tasty. Definitely recommended.

What a delicious meal we had here! Atmospheric bistro, friendly owner/cook and service. Nothing to complain about at all. I myself have celiac disease (gluten intolerance) and that is not a problem. They know what celiac disease means and how to deal with it due to cross-contamination. Definitely recommended!
