The room was incredibly noisy because it was so crowded that you could barely hear each other. Due to the crowds, we had to wait a long time, but the food was delicious.

The tuna tartare tasted fine, but unfortunately contained some sinew. The bruschetta, on the other hand, was excellent. The Diamanthaas was cooked to perfection and delicious, as was the steak – both were expertly prepared. The staff were consistently friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Overall, a nice visit with only minor reservations about the tartare.

We often visit Level 5, so we decided to host our son's baby shower there. We can only say it was a fantastic evening and incredibly well-organized. Everything was taken care of, so all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. As always, Willy, Miranda, and Daan were incredibly hospitable.

Peil5 truly never disappoints. I come here regularly, and they have, without a doubt, the best spare rib sandwiches in the entire area. The sandwich itself is also truly delicious, which makes the entire dish stand out even more. They also have a wide selection of specialty beers on the menu. Nice, but quite busy and popular, so popping in spontaneously might be less convenient depending on the time. The food was delicious, with good flavor and portions, but the sea salt could be a bit less for my liking, as every now and then you suddenly get a lump of salt, and with, for example, a carpaccio, it's quite overpowering. Otherwise, definitely recommended and worth repeating.

Good morning food and a varied menu.

Do yourself a huge favor and grab a rib sandwich here. It's even a YouTube favorite.

The coffee was good and the toilet was clean.

We loved coming here, and we went regularly (at least once every two weeks) until September 14, 2025. We'd already finished our first drink and were there for about half an hour. Other guests who came after us had already received their menus. When I asked Camille for the menu, he reacted very rudely. We initially thought he was joking. In a very annoying tone, loud enough for all the guests to hear, he said, "I find it BLOODY ANNOYING, and seriously, I mean it," and "I'm going to say something about it." He did so as if he were in front of a class with a few kindergarteners. The next day, I called the owner, but he couldn't do much about it, as he'd been friends with Camille for 30 years. This was our last time. That's no way to treat your customers.

Today was a disappointing visit to this location. We went for the third time. Best cappuccino, delicious flan. The service was busy and fast, and we felt like we were sitting too long, just on a bench, not even at a table. Quite quickly after our first coffee and flan, everything was taken away. We didn't even get a chance to drink the water. We were also immediately asked if we wanted another drink. Even after the second cappuccino, they cleared it away almost immediately; the first cappuccino wasn't even finished, and again, we didn't get a chance to drink water. Furthermore, we found the reprimand towards another customer shocking, with the blunt statement "you can only pay at the table," written in large letters at the entrance. Very embarrassing for the lady in question. It's always incredibly busy. Reservations are a must. But both the first and now the third time, the customer service wasn't 5-star. Once again, the food and drinks are great, but they lose points when it comes to proper service. Brigitte

We had a delicious brunch. Portions are generous and delicious. Service is fast and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and warm.

The place looks good but the service is very unprofessional. The waitress prepared the drinks at the bar and took the ice cubes with bare hands (no gloves, no spoon for the ice cubes) and dropped the cubes into the glasses of the clients several times. The soda water or water she used from the tap, she left it running for at least 10 min, which I consider unsustainable.

I've been here for lunch a few times now. It's a lovely place inside, but it also has a beautiful terrace overlooking the water. Reservations are recommended for inside; it's always busy, and for good reason. They have an extensive menu with plenty of choices. And the lunch is always delicious! They also have delicious coffee, and the decor is beautiful. I'll definitely be back!

Never encountered such an unfriendly, rude farmer as here!!! We sat down at a table. After 10 minutes, we saw that other tables had already arrived after us, and they had taken drink orders and handed out menus. My wife politely asked for a menu. The waiter said, "Girl, you've only been sitting here for two minutes." I heard him from a distance and asked, "What did he say?" He came to the table and threw the menus down. I said, "Sorry, but I'm not happy about this." The waiter picked up the menus again and walked away. Never again. Terribly bad service! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!!

Very busy, and rightly so! We were given a number to sit on the patio. A table quickly became available. Delicious specialty beers, but the food! From the burger to the club sandwich, everything was delicious. Friendly service, definitely recommended!

A super cozy brasserie in a beautiful location! The decor is original, and the terrace has a lovely atmosphere. The staff (especially the hostess :)) are also very friendly and genuine. The food was fantastic! We really enjoyed the now-famous ribster sandwich. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely go back!

We had a delicious lunch! Beautiful location and a cozy terrace overlooking the pond. We hadn't booked, and there was no seating outside, but we were immediately offered the option of moving outside if a spot became available. Friendly staff with excellent menu knowledge and helpful tips on pairing drinks. They have a delicious and wide selection of specialty beers, many on tap. There's also plenty of wine and soft drinks to choose from! Their rib steak sandwich is their favorite and was really tasty, but I had the "Chickie Thai"—truly delicious! Peil 5 is definitely recommended, as is making a reservation. We'll definitely be back!

We dined at Peil5 on Monday, July 28th. First of all, there was a very pleasant atmosphere, though it was quite busy. The lunch dishes we chose were delicious. It was a shame not all the dishes were available (though with the explanation, it was understandable). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely eat there again!

But with four people, it's difficult to sit at a table with three chairs. When I added a chair and it made a bit of noise, the older employee (boss) became unfriendly, and we felt that the whole time. He was very annoying and domineering. The food was good, but the atmosphere was ruined. This place is doing well, and the owner's success is going to his head. He's becoming indifferent. It's a shame... How a gem loses its shine! I see more complaints about this gentleman in the reviews, by the way.

What is the biggest plus: no matter how busy it is, the catering couple and all employees remain relaxed. Heavenly Ribster sandwich! Wow... this sandwich was a real taste sensation from start to finish! 🤤 The perfectly cooked sparerib meat is so tender and perfectly seasoned. The combination with fresh red onion, crunchy vegetables and just the right amount of creamy aioli was completely in balance. Served on a crispy, slightly floury bun that completes the whole thing. That together with the extremely friendly staff, even on a very busy afternoon, it was a super taste experience. 🥰

We had the fish platter twice and the rib burger once. We found both very tasty. The fries were great. Unfortunately, they didn't have any tuna in stock, but they asked us beforehand if we would mind having salmon instead. I think that's great, because at least I know that everything is freshly cooked and they don't always have everything in stock. The wait was quite long, but understandable given the rush of visitors. The food was warm. The building is very noisy, sociable, but a bit too loud for my taste, which isn't the owner's fault. All in all, a successful day. This restaurant is located by a fish pond, and if you sit outside, you have a beautiful view of it.

Tasty and creative with the spareribs. Just nice and relaxed as it should be but unfortunately not everywhere anymore. Compliments to all.

Debit card payments under 10 euros were charged an extra 20 cents. So paid in cash. Turns out it's even prohibited by law!

Only used the toilet (women). Neat toilet, toilet brush in sturdy holder. Trash bin was available for hygiene products and bags to put them in first were available. There was no cleaning cloth or soap to clean the toilet seat. The toilet cubicle was neatly finished without any cracks. There was good lighting in the booth. No menstrual products available. There was enough room to turn around with a large backpack. There was a hook for your coat and behind the toilet there was a wall to put your phone or bag. General area was a bit narrower. The faucet was a bit fiddly. The handle was smooth and had no attachments to make it easy to open and close. There was a small hand dryer that blew strongly.

On recommendation, we had lunch at Peil5 for the first time months ago. It is now our favorite place. The price/quality ratio is very good. The ambiance is good and you immediately feel at home. The staff is friendly and clearly masters the catering trade. In short, highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal here last time, but this time it was a big disappointment. Soup was fine, but then…. Pork tenderloin satay was served on a dessert plate with three small pieces of pork tenderloin, a little satay sauce, onions and spring onions. Getting the fries on the side was a challenge. Spare ribs were dry and lacking in flavor. Crispy chicken was not crispy, three course menu with round steak was okay. Plates without any decoration with vegetables or salad. We mentioned this to the waiter, she thought it was a shame but was happy that we told her honestly. She indicated that they removed the salad because most people did not eat it. You could order separately. However, nothing has been deducted from the price without salad. The girl from the service couldn't do anything about this, she was correct and friendly. Other service does not have an enthusiastic appearance. In short, after a good experience last time, this time it was a big disappointment! Very unfortunate! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures otherwise they would speak for themselves... In short: After this experience, we will not do it again, at most for a cup of coffee.

Another nice brunch with friends. Food looked nice. It's just a shame, I had also eaten the club sandwich here before. Apparently they had adjusted this, it was now constructed like a chicken burger and topped with cheese. This was disappointing for me personally. If I had known this, I would have ordered something else. I asked the staff and they told me that this had recently been adjusted. Not on the lunch menu. I will definitely go back again, but no more club sandwich for me.

Delicious food, glasses of iced coffee for 5.50 half filled and had to wait 45 minutes for lunch. It was very busy, and the terrace was too small, even though they have enough space for this. We went to Peil5 for dinner today. First of all, there was a very nice atmosphere and not too busy. The lunch dishes we chose were super tasty, but also unique. Enjoyed it immensely. We paid €35.70 for 3 drinks, 2 lunch dishes and 1 sweet potato fries. I think this is an excellent price.

Good food, nice location, but very slow service every time

Redekijk, lang moeten wachten op de diners, waren wel met een groep van 12 personen, daarom beperkte keuze in menu, prima maar dan moet je geen uur wachten op je voorgerecht en daarna een uur wachten op het hoofdmenu. Porties waren goed maar van sla hebben ze er nog nooit van gehoord vlees vis prima porties garnering een aanfluiting. En voor het eten redelijk aan de prijzige kant, helaas enmaal.

The food was tasty but not very special, but what irritated us more is the older man with glasses who walks around, not customer friendly, sighing and grunting, he can do that and when you have finished your food you are asked to leave while other people are allowed to stay seated, this is downright antisocial considering you have spent almost 100 euros on food and drinks

De plek zat stampvol. Voor lunch. Op een maandag! Dat is een hint dat een restaurant een goede reputatie heeft. Maar dat hoeft het niet per se tot een goed restaurant te maken. In dit geval is dat gelukkig wel zo. Peil 5 heeft zijn zaken prima op orde en levert goede lunches af binnen relatief beperkte tijd. Vriendelijke bediening, redelijk goed eten in forse porties.

We were here last Saturday and it is certainly not recommended. We had reserved a table with small children and were seated near the door. This was open and we were cold in the draft. Because of the kids I had to ask 3 times if it could be closed, until the very grumpy, somewhat older male clerk said in frustration that I could close it. First he had young servants say that this was not possible. He also walked through the shop all the time, sighing and grunting. Then they forgot our daughter's fries, which they only brought when we had almost finished everything, and no form of compensation of course. We will not return here and if you want a pleasant afternoon and customer-friendly service, I would definitely skip this! They really gave you the feeling that it was especially annoying that the business was going well.

While we were actually just discussing ordering another drink with some food. Fine, then I'll spend my money somewhere that knows what hospitality is.

Always delicious food! It's just a bit of a shame that when asking for Coca Cola, the waitress says that they no longer serve that, while the table next to me gets a Coca Cola half an hour later..

Had a lovely lunch on a cozy terrace next to a pond. The atmosphere is really cozy. Staff are friendly and helpful. The price is certainly not expensive compared to the food. We will definitely come here more often.
