The restaurant has an industrial yet cozy interior and a terrace by the water. The food is good. However, it is very busy. You have to wait in line at the door until someone comes to serve you, and the staff were not really friendly. We had made a reservation and there were no tables available. Then you have to wait a very long time for something to become available, and then wait another 15 minutes for the menu. If you mention it, you get a rude response. This was not the first time we were treated like this. But it was definitely the last time; I will absolutely not go there again!

It was extremely busy, making it very noisy and preventing the staff from bringing the food very quickly, but the food there is amazing. And very affordable. If you sit outside on a nice day, you look out over the fish pond. Inside, it is cozily decorated.

Nice people work there. I did have to wait 15 minutes for my tea, but that can happen.

We had lunch here and the food and service was really lovely. The only weird thing is they are quite aggressive about paying at the table and not at the cashier. They refer to the signs but just mentioning it when people sit down might be better if it’s going to be that strict since we didn’t notice any signs and multiple other people also tried to pay at the bar.

Yesterday I ate at Peil 5 for the first time and I had the bestseller, the Ribster sandwich (on the recommendation of a friend). Although I thought it was a tasty sandwich, I did think there was a lot of sauce on it (a minor downside).

Delicious food, I would like to try everything on the menu. And the view of the water ❤️

Always nice and cozy, but the following is truly ridiculous! There is no room outside, but there is in the conservatory. That was fine with us, so we took a seat, and then 3 tables outside became available. However, we were not allowed to go outside from the conservatory. The rule was that you were allowed to move from inside to the terrace, but not from the conservatory. What nonsense!

We came to have lunch at your place with a group today. After a few people had soup, it took almost an hour before the next course was served; by then it was nearly 2:30 PM. The staff walk around but do not look around to see if anyone is signaling to order another drink. Clearing dirty cups and glasses also leaves something to be desired. Service could therefore be better.

The owner has such a huge ego!!! I got such an incredibly big mouth from this guy. I come here regularly and the food is actually always top-notch, that’s not the issue. But the last 3 or 4 times, I just didn't get a clean beer glass. Today was no exception. I pointed this out politely and normally, because any half-decent restaurateur knows that you rinse a glass before putting it on the table anyway. Apparently, even that is too much to ask here. My mother and father also saw that the glass was dirty, so I really wasn't whining. We got another glass, ordered food, and thought: fine, never mind. They asked several more times if everything was to our liking, so nothing seemed to be wrong. To be honest, I had already forgotten about that dirty glass. My rib sandwich was just fine, as always. Until the second beer arrived. The man who I believe is the owner came to bring it and asked if I wanted a clean glass. I said: “Yes, provided this one is clean,” and pointed out that the glass had been dirty every time the last few times. What happened next really tops everything. He responded immediately with: “I think you’re an annoying little man.” In a very crude, antisocial manner, with an attitude and look as if he felt superior to everyone and everything. His tone was totally misplaced and exaggerated, pure ego. He glared at us angrily, simply because I had sent back a dirty glass yet again. On top of that, he also said that he had come to our table specifically because he had “heard from his ladies that I had been whining the whole time.” A story completely made up, because there was absolutely no whining or fuss at the table otherwise. In fact, we were asked several times in a friendly manner if everything was to our liking and if the food was tasty. My father and mother were sitting right there and could clearly see that communication was taking place in a normal manner. Excuse me? Annoying little man just because I ask for a clean glass? This wasn't said softly, by the way. Two tables simply heard this: one next to us and one behind us. He gave us a huge piece of his mind right there and then made a complete fool of me and our table. After I stood up to confront him, both tables immediately agreed with me. They also indicated that they found what he said very rude and that he clearly has a very full head. This is not just unprofessional; this is simply rude and antisocial behavior. At that moment, we chose not to pay, and we didn't have to anymore because the owner himself was so angry that he apparently preferred us to leave. It is truly bizarre to be treated like this just for pointing out something normal. For us, this was absolutely the last time. We will never come back here!

A very unpleasant experience today! We were treated very rudely and antisocially by the boss?!!! Because my son asked for a clean glass, he was told that he was a nasty little man. It escalated quickly. This man's attitude towards his customers is totally inappropriate and completely unacceptable!

Nice for a drink. The food is mediocre but top-range priced. It is often overcrowded, making you feel like you are in a nursing home. The average age of the visitors is around 65. There is one waiter with a voice from a loudspeaker system. This shouting does not contribute to the atmosphere. But anyway, it's doable for a drink!

This was my second time eating here, with my father, who comes here often. We complimented the staff and asked if we'd leave a review: "The food is beautifully presented, and we're incredibly surprised by the quality." The staff is also super friendly, and the location is beautiful, especially outside by the water. Nothing more to add, a big 10 out of 10 :)

Went for lunch with two people today. It certainly wasn't my first time there, but now it's time for a great review. What a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location. But the staff and the food deserve a big thumbs up. The onion soup is highly recommended. The rib steak sandwich and the carpaccio sandwich are also delicious. The meat is of excellent quality. I hope to go back soon. Hats off again to the staff.

Truly delicious. Honestly, in my experience, the best spareribs in the region! Around €20-30 per person, including dessert and drinks.

It was my first time there, with a colleague. Our first impression was immediately positive. We received a warm welcome and were invited to sit in the conservatory. It's cozy and has a lovely view of the pond. The menu offers a variety of delicious lunch dishes. We chose the steak sandwich. The moment it was served, the dish looked delicious, mouthwateringly inviting. And the dish was a true delight. The steak was buttery soft and the sandwich perfectly crispy. It was so good that we hesitated to order it again, which we politely mentioned to the waitress when she came by and asked if everything was to our liking. We didn't order a second round; that would have been a bit much. But we will definitely return regularly during our regular once-a-monthly walk. And because of our enthusiasm, we simply forgot to take pictures. This brasserie is a must for the culinary bon vivant.

Chicken ragout had curry in it. A lot of curry. This isn't supposed to be in ragout and wasn't listed on the menu. One person didn't like it. That was just bad luck: we had to pay full price.

It can't get any worse. Aperol tastes like water and Crème Brulé is like rice pudding, and so on.

The food was very bad, not warm and of inferior quality; the meat was inedible. The service was very unfriendly and it was not clean; the entire floor was covered in crumbs and food. The table was not cleaned and the bill was presented immediately after the meal; they didn't even ask if everything was to our liking. Never again and absolutely not recommended. The owner himself doesn't even say hello.

The room was incredibly noisy because it was so crowded that you could barely hear each other. Due to the crowds, we had to wait a long time, but the food was delicious.

The tuna tartare tasted fine, but unfortunately contained some sinew. The bruschetta, on the other hand, was excellent. The Diamanthaas was cooked to perfection and delicious, as was the steak – both were expertly prepared. The staff were consistently friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Overall, a nice visit with only minor reservations about the tartare.

We often visit Level 5, so we decided to host our son's baby shower there. We can only say it was a fantastic evening and incredibly well-organized. Everything was taken care of, so all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. As always, Willy, Miranda, and Daan were incredibly hospitable.

Nice, but quite busy and popular, so popping in spontaneously might be less convenient depending on the time. The food was delicious, with good flavor and portions, but the sea salt could be a bit less for my liking, as every now and then you suddenly get a lump of salt, and with, for example, a carpaccio, it's quite overpowering. Otherwise, definitely recommended and worth repeating.
