Bitterballenbar in Rotterdam Centrum

We were driving from Belgium to Rotterdam for a nice night out. We thought we would have a nice stop at the bitterballenbar, at 7pm (bar should have been opened till 8pm), but it was already closed. A very BITTER (well, unfortunately not) disappointing moment. Update your website or close the doors, it's very unprofessional.

The website says they are open from 10am to 8pm and we were faced with a closed door at 12.30. Drove all the way from the East to Rotterdam for this disappointment... unfortunately...

Yummy tomatoes & mozzarella bitterballen

This place smells like old, overused frying oil. The satay sauce tastes burnt instead of peanuts. I should have known: there was no one in this place and that on a market day. The coke was good and you can sit comfortably in a chesterfield sofa.

Cheese bitterballen with fries. Both were delicious. I was kindly helped.

Order bacon burger, fries, coke and portion of bitterballen. Bacon burger bun falls apart completely because the bottom is wet and instead of bitterballen I get a bitter garnish. No excuses and the three young people were happily chatting. The fries were delicious, but we won't be coming here again.
