KFC in IJsselmonde

Do yourself a favor and don't take a single step—let me repeat, not a single STEP—into this KFC. I've been waiting for my food for over an hour, and mind you, it's 3 hot wings and 2 tenders. I understand there was a staff shortage, but they were super slow and, on top of that, they didn't care at all. The floor and tables are also incredibly filthy. Never again.

We have been standing there waiting for an hour for 3 hot wings and 2 tenders. I understand that it can be busy, but the staff don't seem to care at all. Even though they are short-staffed and I understand that it is busy, they are dragging their feet enormously and avoiding communication. The last time I ordered here, the tenders weren't cooked through properly either; I hope that isn't the case now, otherwise I will never come back!! I do not recommend this branch, even though I eat at other KFC restaurants really often.

Waiting two hours for an order that still isn't ready, surely that's not right? Terrible, I'm still waiting.

1 star is still too much; it took an incredibly long time. The food had been sitting there getting cold for a very long time. Eventually, I asked for my money back, and so did all the other people standing there.

Unhygienic, just plain dirty. Unfriendly, incomplete. Why some businesses continue to exist is a mystery; I won't spend another cent here.

These are the laziest employees I have ever seen; people here wait anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour for their orders.

As many before me have already indicated, they are extremely slow here. I waited for almost half an hour, while you see the staff pacing back and forth in slow motion and looking unmotivated. Then you see half of your order sitting ready for 10 minutes before the rest arrives. So, part of the food was cold. They forgot the sauce and couldn't find any napkins in the branch. It's funny that the owner/manager mainly responds to positive reviews and refers you to a form for bad ones. Maybe a crazy idea: go check it out!

They reinvented fast food and made it TERRIFYING SLOW

I waited about 30 minutes for an order at the restaurant. Eventually, I wanted my money back, which took another 20 minutes because the manager was nowhere to be found. What went wrong there? A total mystery, but if you eat here, allow at least 45 minutes before you get something to eat. There is a good chance you will leave without food.

Terrible staff and I had to wait half an hour for a cheeseburger and a chicken salad is really bizarre, not worth the money

Really extremely bad at the drive-thru; you have to drive on, but then they are too lazy to walk 9 meters. When you go inside: the food is cold and soggy. If you ask for a fresh preparation, the woman complains that it is still edible. I spent at least an hour at the drive-thru here.

What a worthless place. According to KFC, it should be open here at 11:00. At 11:30, the staff were still walking around the place, while the doors simply remained closed. Terrible service!!! Unfortunately not the first time; but it has happened more than once.

Had to wait almost 25 minutes for 2 burgers, a Twister, and 2 milkshakes. As a result, the food had already cooled down considerably.

Leaving misleading advertisements up is the issue. Visit date was July 21st, advertisement on the radio and on the window. But no special offer, had to pay the full price, and was it just a lure into the store. Worth 1 star.

The food here was surprisingly good, but the service was terrible. The staff was incredibly lazy, and I had to wait an absurd amount of time for my food. When I couldn’t open a pack of Fritz’s and asked for help, the staff gave me a wooden fork and told me to do it myself. If you’re just looking for a quick bite, this place is okay, but I wish the service was better.

This woman was screaming in the middle of packing orders. It's great that people scream in a restaurant. I also came home and all that food was soggy because of one small drink that that woman was screaming, and my food ended up half-soaked. Fries, chicken, burger, even that bucket ripped apart. Worst KFC ever. Please tell that woman she needs to learn how to pack drinks better!

It’s alright as far as a KFC goes but the boys there really need to take their job more seriously, it’s not all fun and games if there are 20 people waiting for their food

The fries were limp and soggy. The meat was dry. The milkshake was tasty, but was delivered without a delivery run. Delivery was on time.

The food is delicious and quick to prepare. I recommend eating here.

We ordered for over 60 euros, and after a very long wait (about half an hour), we were able to take the trays with us. At the table, it turned out that almost half of the items were missing. After a worthless response, we eventually received the rest after another long wait. This is by far the worst "fast food 🤣" I have ever experienced.

I ate here yesterday. The floor throughout the entire place was so terribly sticky that it actually made noise. From downstairs all the way to the toilet, I had a hard time getting my feet off the floor. The whole place was filthy; all the glass walls were noticeably dirty. The service was mediocre. I paid for three sauces but only received two. So I walked back to very politely ask for the third sauce (with the receipt as proof in hand). Only to be asked: "Didn't I already give you that?" Only to hand over the sachet after rolling my eyes.

The fries are always cold, soggy, and chewy. Why don't you just deep-fry the fries when people order them? It takes 3 minutes to deep-fry. So why always make batches of fries in advance and then let them sit there for hours, getting cold, soggy, and chewy? I just don't get it. It's so easy. Just give people hot, fresh fries. Just deep-fry them when they're ordered. Nobody wants old, cold food.

Ridiculous waiting time. Over half an hour. Then they didnt let us go upstairs despite the place being packed and having NO chair downstairs. I asked them if they could give us chairs but they refused to. There were people upstairs which was even more bizarre! We asked for our money back as the food was cold (we saw it sitting there for at least 15min!!) And they were rude. Why let people 'dine in' and then close both sections of places to eat???? It was early! The people who work dont use gloves and speak over the food with their saliva falling all over. Avoid that place like the plague!!!

Helaas maakt deze plek vaker fouten met bestellingen. Nu had ik een 1+1 actie voor een Zinger burger en vergeten ze de Thuisbezorgd medewerker deze mee te geven. Tot dusver de 'deal'. Daarnaast is de burger koud en de ijsjes (Sundae Deluxe Twix) lijken afgeraffeld en smaken nergens naar. Helaas heb ik al eerder besteld zowel thuis via Thuisbezorgd als persoonlijk en deze KFC houdt helaas geen hoge standaard ten opzichte van andere KFC's in omstreken (Barendrecht/Capelle/Alexandrium etc.). Ze zijn telefonisch ook gewoon niet te bereiken voor vragen. Voor mij is het helaas wel de laatste keer nu.

Very incompetent staff. This is the worst KFC I've ever been to. Your fries have been waiting on the counter for 15 minutes. Chaotic disorganized childish mess! Fries were cold so asked for warm other fries. A 17-year-old child who has to play manager with an earphone in. Who feels with his fingers and hands in your food to see if it is really cold. But then we play rock paper scissors with the staff. He also acted inferior and rude. NEVER more KFC for our family.. Spend my money somewhere else! Not in a store run by 1 pair of nauseous school dropouts who are also brutal.! Especially that dark underage male with the earpiece in! The store itself was also cleaned quite poorly. Which resulted in me being left with rotten stomach contents from this "food" in the evening. We are done with this unprofessional establishment. And never come here again Very dissatisfied.

This is the first KFC in the Netherlands where Dutch is normally spoken clearly. Where procedures are adhered to. Order was repeated and options were asked about what I might want by a young lady. I always order drinks without ice. For the first time, dieting goes well at a KFC. I had to wait on the corner after the drive until my order was delivered. Lasted maybe 4 minutes. Disadvantage: zinger stacker was quite a tower of pizza and did not really taste ultimate fresh. Was warm enough but not hot. I will definitely come back to it. Class!!!!!

Most unfriendly staff ever! Was scolded by a slightly dark boy with curls and by a tall Dutchman who both had no manners. I waited more than 45 minutes for two fries with fries sauce and the fries became rock hard. Staff is clearly not service-oriented. The staff called me smart and told me to make my own food in the kitchen. After 45 minutes the size is full. These were the words of the 'dark boy' by the way. Customers also started shouting in the store, don't blame them. There could be quite a change if it were up to me. In the meantime, I have sent a complaint to KFC's guest service department! This behavior is unacceptable! I work harder for my money than these guys and if I pay, I want value for my money!

Burgers were ready quickly. In hindsight understandable because they were cold. One kind word: enjoy your meal. Citizens half invested. Ordered extra bacon, it wasn't on the burgers.

Placed an order in the drive-through on Saturday, November 2 at 8:25 PM. Two rib pieces and a snack box of hot wings. Halfway home, I noticed that the snack box was missing fries. And there was some doubt about the ribs, namely that one was much larger than the other. This was an order from someone else, something I never ordered myself. Arrived to indicate that fries are missing from the snack box. A cashier offered me to add fries. Furthermore, I have indicated that the rib order is correct to be sure. The cashier indicated that there was nothing wrong with the order. The person indicated what the order was for at home that it was not two ribs at all. Completely unprofessional and the employees were still laughing when I spoke to them about it before I left. The next day I happened to drive by and reported this to another manager the day after. He spoke to me kindly and gave me a normal order. The employees that Saturday were absolutely unprofessional and certainly not worthy of a catering industry.

I was waiting 20 minutes for a zinger with coke but the man says (we have coke) and I get an order and it was Pepsi zero. I ask what is wrong and the answer is - if you have a problem you shouldn't eat here... What beautiful tableware says

I was there recently, going up to pick up the order I see an employee lifting my fries from a dirty tray back into the packaging with his hands, some woman is shouting at the employees to work faster, you get half an order and you keep waiting when you get everything the part is already cold, I haven't seen such an unorganized workplace for a long time, something clearly needs to change there, I don't like the fact that people I know who work there hand out full bags through the door to employees, so people wait longer, I don't know who is the owner there anymore, an employee or what?

Food was fine. This time the service was excellent. This has to do with the ice cream being issued by the sweet, cheerful lady.

KFC is very overpriced. I felt robbed. Two pieces of original chicken for 9.95 with fries and a drink. Not even drumsticks I got. I got an original chicken wing and little thigh. Where is the quality control?

The chicken was full of disgusting long hair and blood. When I went to the cashier and explained my problem, he told me that this was normal. Unfortunately, I threw the meal in the trash, knowing that I had bought two large family meals and threw them in the trash.

Have ordered several times via Ubereats and every time they manage to give you half your order or drink what has been poured into your entire bag. Uber says kfc kfc says uber. Then you call them and they don't answer.

Food is so bad. Not a bad place to stay!

An evening at the movies did not have a smooth start at Happy Italy. Understaffing at an almost full restaurant. After half an hour no order had been taken. Decided to grab a quick bite at KFC across the street. We could forget about that because after waiting half an hour after the order had been placed, we also gave up and canceled our orders. We were not the only ones. Really unbelievable how people worked here. No communication between each other and it seemed that everyone was just doing whatever. Orders via home delivery, on site and via drive are simply too much to handle for these incompetent staff. Such a shame for the staff that it didn't work out. Hopefully they can discuss this with management and draw up a policy.

I ordered food via home delivery, it arrived after 2 hours, everything was covered in drinks, when I picked it up everything fell on the floor, the delivery person said that I had to file a complaint and that I would not do anything else. Thank you kfc top service for a lot Money

It always surprises me what kind of people work at KFC. Wanted to get an order through the drive. Suddenly this was not possible and I had to drive all the way back through the drive to park my car. They then took 25 minutes to process my order and still managed to forget 6 hot wings that I had simply paid for. I called them afterwards. Now I can come and get 6 hot wings another time this week. While I had no intention of coming again. But they couldn't give money back. Nicely arranged...

Actually, 1 star is way too many. Firstly I had to wait 10 whole minutes for the order machine and then the machine had a malfunction and secondly I had to wait 20 minutes for my food. And third, I was called and guess what. 3 guesses my food was cold. So we left and it turns out that we missed something from our order and that was not the first time that happened. so we drove back 3 kilometers because we missed something. So we waited another 5 minutes until our food was ready. And the food was still delivered cold.

Bad experience. Young lady at the onedrive clearly didn't feel like working. So slow. I had to wait a very long time for one menu. While it was so quiet, even though it was a Saturday. Then I get a very cold meal. It was inedible. This wasn't even the worst. The fact that this lady still dares to respond in a very brutal and disrespectful way was the worst thing for me. While I remained calm and polite. She could have just apologized and that would be it for me. So I don't come here anymore and I advise people not to come here either.
