The coffee wasn't really hot, but lukewarm. Tastes are debatable, but it was good. As for the atmosphere and all that, well, that's a matter of personal taste.

Disappointing. Dry, burnt pancakes. Flavourless, lukewarm burritos. Dry loempias. And it took over 30 mins for our food to arrive.

Great experience every time! Blend is a beautiful café, modernly decorated with lots of natural sunlight. They serve excellent coffee. There´s also the option to get décaf, but I like the normal coffee better. The food is beautifully-plated plus it tastes delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back, because I want to try everything!!

It is a great place, only the service on the terrace was terrible. This morning, July 3 at 9 o'clock, after sitting on the terrace for 15 minutes, I got up several times to show that I was there, made eye contact, still no order taken. There were a few people inside, so it wasn't busy. I just left, unfortunately this happened several times, so I will skip the blend in the morning. If there is no service outside, that's fine too, just put up a sign that you have to order inside, but then people know that.

Had high tea at Blend, super tasty, varied, just the right amount and everything clearly homemade. Not as sweet as others and also with vegetables and fruit. Recommended!

The food was delicious but the service was terrible. Many items from the menu available online were no longer available to order. We were told that the menu had just been adjusted a few weeks ago for "our regular customers". Fine but perhaps it would be useful to adjust this, because of the online menu this location was chosen. We did not feel welcome at all and for the first time ever I did not leave a tip. Very unfortunate!

I wanted to book a high tea here and filled in the form 2x. I also called 100 times and messaged them on Instagram. They're absolutely unreachable! VERY bad customer service. You're losing clients if you don't pick this up.

I paid €5 for this small glass of turmeric latte. While the lady next to me had a pumpkin latte from a "normal" glass. Very special.

Reservation is no needed for lunch. But we have a little baby and we don’t want to be looking for a place during Christmas markets with this cold weather as everywhere is so busy…So we politely ask for a reservation of a quiet table. It’s just rejected with no reasons. Is that so imposible? It’s not very customer friendly to deny something like that.

Never disappoints food wise. I think it's great the people working here are young and energetic but a waiter barely speaking any Dutch at all , is not really something I'd expect at this fine establishment.

I came here for a breaky and went for a turmeric latte and a vegetarian breakfast burrito. The latte was nice, food was fair, the service was good and the ambience would be above average after the construction work is completed. The prices are fair too. I wouldn't mind visiting again but I don't feel compelled to do so post my experience. Lets see.

Vegan options for breakfast very limited. Only overnight oats. Buckwheat pancakes are listed as vegan on the website, but are not vegan upon request. 1 option for lunch!? There used to be more options, too bad!

Nice restaurant, very friendly staff, we had an original and good breakfast - unfortunately it took a little long (to save the ladies' honor: they also announced that it would take a little longer because of a large table with a group inside - only unfortunately only some time after ordering… hence a small point deduction).

Delicious haloumi flatbread. You can sit here in the sun or under the awning in the shade.

Still had frozen pieces of fruit in my acai bowl. Breakfast burrito was tasty, but it was not mixed well. One bite was full of arugula and the other had a lot of egg. Food was a little disappointing and very expensive. The atmosphere was nice

Had a lovely lunch at Blend with my mother for Mother's Day. We had such a nice afternoon. It is located in a great location in the bustling center of Haarlem, with a really great atmosphere! Good service, staff is very friendly and helpful. And the food was also delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Haarlem!

I'm really feeling a bit put off. Ignored for 15 minutes at first. Then lukewarm coffee and waiting an hour for a sandwich that is gone in 2 bites. So I lost more than an hour, left hungry and 20 euros poorer. What a bad experience this is.

We waited 75 minutes for a smoothie bowl and a croissant. Very slow service. Food was nice but not worth the wait.

We were lucky with a parking space right in front of the door, but that doesn't seem usual to me, good and tasty food, clean sanitary facilities and very friendly staff, highly recommended

Had a great lunch here! It wasn't busy, the service was nice and quick. Egg salad was delicious, smoothie too and the Vitello tonnato also tasted good. The tuna mayonnaise was Dutch-style: it had to be carefully distributed. Just do a little more next time.

A city central located cafeteria. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The menu is very healthy and offers veggie and vegan alternatives. What really impressed me was their fresh tea selection, and you get to put in the amount of tea yourself. My girlfriend enjoyed her breakfast burrito.

"December 30, 4 ladies @Blend Haarlem" Blend Haarlem is a permanent value for me: quality and atmosphere are always excellent. But there's more. This time I had a table next to four ladies; friends a day out in Haarlem. As we left I thanked them for their nice topics of conversation. Afterwards I approached Blend to contact the group. Blend was the only lead. The Blend employees helped me heart-warmingly. Although unfortunately it did not yield any results, Blend's help is an example of customer service for me. Great top!

Last week I had a super nice high tea at Blend. Everything was great!!

Bad service. I understand that there is a shortage of staff, but waiting 45 minutes to an hour for your ordered food is absurd. The staff was preparing lunch for themselves so there was plenty of time. When I asked an employee after an hour if my order was ready yet, she said that it should indeed not take long and that it is coming. You have a view into the kitchen when you are in the shop so I could see that she still had to make the order because she immediately grabbed two collars to make the order. All in all I waited 1.5 hours for my order. By the way, the staff is also chatting with each other more often than they come to the customer's table to ask if they want something to drink when the glasses are empty. So not recommended

Lots of noise, nice service. Vegan food was okay, but less than the other (I think it should be at least as tasty) but all in all definitely recommended (the nut dream tea was delicious!)

If you are in Haarlem you definitely need to book high tea at Blend. Food is amazing and staff very friendly (they even indulge me with my limited Dutch).

Delicious food, cozy and good atmosphere

Had a high tea on Sunday. Very busy business. We got a pumpkin/curry soup beforehand. You could taste that it was freshly made. Not very salty. Was delicious. You also immediately received a small smoothie. (Strawberry/banana?) After this came the etagere; on top of banana bread, brownie, blueberry pie. Below that; yogurt with granola and fruit. At the bottom; flatbread with roasted zucchini and haloumi, toast with curry salad. And there were vegetable chips. All in all it was ok. I prefer a classic English afternoon tea. This was their own twist. Service took some time to arrive F and otherwise friendly. Of course you also get tea, you can choose from 6 types of canned tea, loose tea! No bags, as it should be.

Es hat sich gelohnt in Haarlem etwas länger zu suchen. Sind zum Lunch hier eingekehrt und waren begeistert. Genau was wir gesucht haben. Tolles Ambiente, Leckere Gerichte - da wird jeder fündig - und aufmerksamer Service. Vielen Dank und weiter so!!!

We had "breakfast burrito" and coffee. It was soo good! ☺️ Would definitely recommend it.

Een prima plek om wat te eten. Gerechten waren okay. Weet het niet zeker, maar begreep dat het een rookvrij terras is. Het werd wel getolereerd door personeel om om de hoek te roken. Helaas als je net om de hoek zit en de wind is ongunstig dan komt die rook alsnog de hoek om. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The breakfast was quite disappointing. For 15,- Euros you get quite a poor selection of things. The green juice is not good. I get that there is spinach and avocado in it, so it’s not super sweet but you can make it better than that. We also had the platbrood with Halloumi. The bread is quite hard and dry. The other dishes from the neighbouring tables looked better, however our choice was very poor.

Een oude, opgeknapte eetgelegenheid nabij het centrum van Haarlem. Muurbanken met kussens om het enige aankleding te geven, ook tafeltjes met stoelen. Vrij prijzig (vooral het eetwerk) in verhouding tot dat wat er aan aankleding wordt aangeboden. Jonge eigenaar die er wat van probeert te maken.

Was ok. The pita was ok. The avocado toast was ok, actually a little less than ok bc it was not ripe, not much flavor, maybe was frozen before. Not particularly inspired to come back food wise unless someone else really wanted to. good location to just sit and watch things flow tho.

Gezellige plek, waar we snel werden geholpen ondanks het erg druk was! De gember thee was goed fijn gesneden waardoor de smaak goed was! Burrito was goed gevuld en erg smaakvol. De spring rolls waren ook een aanrader!

Wonderful place for a breakfast with the family.

We had a good cup of coffee here the other day. We were going to order brownies, too, but then we saw how the server that was cutting them up in preparation for service coughed into his left hand and then immediately put that same hand back on the brownies as he cut them. We decided to skip any pastry after that.
