Thanks to our friendly and energetic waitress... a superb view of Amsterdam. Excellent and varied dishes. I highly recommend it.

The lemonade was very sour, I couldn't drink it, but it looked very nice in the photo... the food and cocktails were overpriced... the sunset view was superb!

Great value for money and above all, amazing views

Went there accidentally to get some hot drinks. The stuff was friendly, but a bit relaxed - waited for give the order about 15minutes (there were not a lot of people). The view is nice, especially in the evening. We took a cappuccino ☕️, hot chocolate (but it was note like cocoa drink) and a cocktail 🍹Also tested “the best apple pie in the city” - a lot of apples in it. I would say it is average, my wife liked it but definitely not “the best”. The music was calm and relaxing, nice lighting and candles on tables create cozy atmosphere. Recommend to visit for a view and atmosphere 😊

The ambiance is okay, but the food isn't delicious, and the drinks are exorbitantly expensive. It's better to go there, have one coffee, and stay for the view until sunset.

Staff are not friendly, I came there about to approach one staff but ended up being stared at, and most of their staff doesn't have a good command at English, that turned out rude when they communicate with guests.

This is a must on your to-do list in Amsterdam. This wonderful place is located in a former jail, which was converted into a shopping center after a renovation in 2017. You have to take the elevator to the top floor, where you’ll get the most amazing views of the city. Since the buildings are relatively low, you can clearly see the main landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the Rijksmuseum, Centraal Station, and several church bell towers. The staff is also very kind. We were very lucky because one of the waitresses was from Latin America, so we were able to speak Spanish with her. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The view was very impressive you can watch the city while eating or drinking, i cant say the foods were really good but they're decent also the drinks. Workers were so cheerful, respectful and relative with the costumers. Cool place for taking pictures i would recommend🙏

Great view and decent food, the service is friendly but good luck in finding a table and asking somebody for it. The staff is not very organised but the view is very very good, especially from some sides. The food is pricey as expected but not outrageous, the quality is quite good overall.

The view is amazing and the staff is really cozy and young, even though some of them felt a bit inexperienced but nothing too bad!! The lunch option is good in quality and price, but other prices here and there feel a little bit too much. The mushroom soup was AMAZING!!

Waiting for a table, a server seated me in a closed section upstairs with no service. Friends of the staff behind me in line got a table in the open section with service right away. There was no explanation. Maybe it was my new pink undies and untrimmed nose hairs. With no server upstairs, it was time to go. Will try again in the future, hopefully seated by someone less discriminating.

Lovely spot, quiet and comfortable. Everything is well organized. Enjoy the view. In the shopping center, take the elevator up and you're there.

It's a nice cafe with a view of Amsterdam, but I wouldn't recommend it for food or drink.

This was the perfect place to stop in for a quick and delicious, fresh meal and coffee when we landed and take the sting out of the time change. Got a great bird eye view of the city for orientation.

We had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday with friends! The waiter was a great host, bringing a small muffin with the candles we'd brought, and was incredibly attentive throughout our brunch. The portions were generous and the ingredients were fresh! Don't forget to book and go for it!

I had been during my amsterdam travel, it was very nice point to see city from up also drinks were delicious.

Sebastian was very personable and took good care of us.

The atmosphere is great, it is really an experience. I am not sure if it was due to the sun, or their ac, but it was quite warm. Saw a couple of people sunbathing in an October day. The food was OK, not really something I would absolutely need to have again, but the service was good, they were quick, the kids got colouring books. So all in all it was a good experience (a bit hard to find though as there is another restaurant down and no signs...but they were kind enough to point the right direction)

I quite enjoyed my visit to Blue Amsterdam. It's a viewing platform/restaurant-café located at the top of a glass building in the city center. You take the elevator from the Kalvertoren shopping center to the third floor, and from there you have a 360° view of Amsterdam: typical rooftops, canals, churches, famous squares... a beautiful panorama that makes eating there special. The restaurant has a pleasant, modern decor, with lots of light thanks to the glass windows. It has a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for taking a break, chatting while gazing at the city, taking photos, etc. We ordered sandwiches and a burger. The burger was homemade, quite tasty, with fresh ingredients, although don't expect haute cuisine. The sandwiches were also decent: well-toasted, with good bread, and just the right amount of toppings. Nothing spectacular, but satisfying. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. There were no long waits or obvious mistakes. We didn't have a bad experience with what we ordered. The menu isn't overly extensive, but rather simple: sandwiches, burgers, some salads, soups, brunch options, etc. Just enough for a relaxed lunch, not an elaborate dinner. • Prices are moderate to high for the type of food, but offset by the quality of the setting (views, ambiance) and the central location. During peak hours (e.g., lunchtime), it can get quite crowded; if you're interested in getting a good table with a great view, it's best to arrive a little early. If you're strolling through the city center and want to see the city from another perspective, have a delicious meal, relax, and keep things simple, Blue Amsterdam seems like a very good option. It's not overly luxurious, but it more than delivers: good views, decent food, and decent service. I would definitely return if I were in Amsterdam and wanted a nice place to relax and see the city from above.

Great view, delicious food, and friendly service. We were lucky that we didn't need a reservation at 11:30, and it was still pretty empty. Later on, it got busier. We had a burger and avocado bread, both delicious.

For me, the most appealing aspect of this place is its ambiance. You can watch the city from above. I chose it for lunch, trying the bread and the bowl. While the taste was mediocre, the ambiance elevates it above average. I don't think I'll be back. I recommend it because it's a great value for money.

If you want to have a rooftop Amsterdam experience, go to this place. Even when its raining, you'll have a great time.

How to get to the establishment. There is no signboard "Blue Amsterdam" on the street, so the first photo shows where to enter. The name of the building "ANNO 1907" is a shopping center, you need to go to the elevator and go up to the rooftop. The establishment is small, has two floors, but for some reason there was no one on the second floor, everyone was seated only on the first floor. The view is beautiful, the food is delicious, I ordered a pastrami sandwich - it turned out to be gigantic and delicious! The cocktails are also not bad - but there is no point in demanding more since this is not a bar, but a rooftop cafe format. The service is good, the waiter was very friendly and so was the entire staff. When I was making the video, they offered me to go up to the second floor and shoot there (I didn't even know there was a second floor), and my phone was almost 5% discharged. They gladly charged it when I picked it up at the bar, the bartender even apologized that the phone wasn't very charged - it was very nice and pleasant. You won't be able to sit there for long, the kitchen is designed more for a snack and in principle this is right because otherwise a couple of companies would come here and spend 3 hours there and others wouldn't be able to come in.

I had a really bad experience here. The staff is supposed to be welcoming, but the red-haired woman who works here had a terrible attitude. When I politely asked for water, I was given a tiny glass with one (!) ice cube. This felt downright disrespectful and unprofessional, when I asked for a larger glass with more ice... and apparently, that was a very strange thing for them to ask for. For a place that presents itself like this, you expect to be treated normally, at the very least. I won't be coming back.

Durante la nostra visita ad Amsterdam abbiamo trovato questo ristorantino situato al terzo piano di un centro commerciale. Si tratta di un posto tutto vetrato dove è possibile vedere la città dall'alto ed è molto suggestivo. Il cibo è discreto, offre alternative vegetariane, vegane e c'è anche un'ottima varietà nei cocktail. Il servizio è un pò allegro e tranquillo, ma quello che gioca a favore è proprio il contesto dove si può godere di questa vista spettacolare, anche solo bevendo qualcosa.

Blue Amsterdam is absolutely worth a visit! The view over the entire city is simply breathtaking – you truly get a 360-degree view of Amsterdam. The ambiance is also super modern, bright, and friendly, making you feel immediately at home. The food and drinks are fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared, and the value for money is absolutely perfect. The staff was very attentive and friendly and rounded off the stay perfectly. Anyone visiting Amsterdam should definitely not miss this spot – a real highlight!

The view is incredible! We were there on a clear day and the 350 degree view of the city was so beautiful. They even have napkins that help you identify some of the noble sights! The service was friendly and the food was delicious and fairly priced. Thank you for hosting us!
