We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The wait was shorter than expected (came here without reservation). Very accomodating staff. We we're assisted by the staff named Susan, she was very friendly and attentive the whole time. The food was delicious, every dish served was flavorful and beautifully presented. Will definitely be coming back.

I got food poisoning here a month ago. Two or three hours after visiting, the vomiting and diarrhea started. I was in pain for two days. That same day, I informed the restaurant about the food poisoning, and after a week without a response, I went inside and confronted them. A few days later, I received an email from the owner saying he would investigate. Anyway, a month has passed since my report, and I haven't received a proper apology from them. Today, a neighbor pointed out the following: Pest control is inadequate. Based on an NVWA inspection on September 19, 2025. Two weeks before my food poisoning, they were reprimanded by the food and beverage authority for an unsanitary situation with pests. My advice: avoid this restaurant!

The food is really really good but sorry, this is not the standard I expect from a restaurant which has a good quality of food, there is a Chinese guy who received us at the counter and he is super unprofessional because how the way he attends the client is not even good, rude and mean. When the first time we entered the restaurant we asked about how it works and his response was really bad. We ordered ginger tea, and just for the hot water he will ask you to order while the other waitress just fill it up for you. How the way he speak and how the way he treat you as a client is so bad, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The food is perfectly rich and very delicious but unfortunately there is a Chinese guy at the reception who serves us very badly, very rudely, when we entered and asked how the restaurant works, the guy's response was too rude and disrespectful. I'm sorry but we are here as a customer and we don't eat here for free. We ordered ginger tea and it was out of water to refill. When I asked another waitress, she refilled it without any problem, but when it was his turn, he told us we had to pay more just for hot water. It's not a big deal, but his response was very rude. I haven't recommended this restaurant; there are many better ones.

The sushi was good. I would say the rice in the rolls were a bit thicker for my liking but the ingredients were quite fresh. the presentation was perfectly done. I would say service was pretty good as well especially thinking about how busy it was. the atmosphere of the place was very luxury. overall good place to eat.

Flamed saumon sushi almost melted in my mouth upon first bite, gamba garlic, karaage chicken, teriyaki, spicy tuna, beef tataki ... are all extremely delicious, authentic. Whoever is the chef is defintely a trained Japanese cuisine master cuz the quality is what makes this restaurant so popular, as we saw the restaurant got crowded from 19:00 on a monday night. For the all-you-can-eat price, you order directly from your phone for 3 choices per person every 10 minutes. For certain dishes/drinks, prices are indicated on the menu, before you submit, you can verify it again, so, no worries about hidden additional charges. Despite being hectic, our orders were fast to be served 🎉👍👍

My friends and I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. Although the place was quiet and had a pleasant atmosphere at first, our experience quickly declined due to poor service. Upon arrival, it took quite some time before a waiter greeted and seated us. Unfortunately, the waiter who did assist us was dismissive from the start, though we decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. 1. Ordering System: The restaurant uses a digital system for placing orders, which turned out to be unnecessarily complicated and unreliable. The website frequently glitched, causing our orders not to go through properly. When we asked our waiter for help, he was unhelpful and rude. At one point, he insisted our order had gone through, but it never did. Overall, it took around 25 minutes just to successfully order and receive our food. 2. Food and Service: The food itself was decent, and the presentation was impressive. However, one item—a spicy tuna roll—was missing from our order. When we brought this to the waiter’s attention, he argued that we had already eaten it. We already were spending a lot of money on food I don’t know why we would lie about three pieces of sushi. Plus we did have a photo of our platter before we ate it and we could have shown him but it was already too late because thankfully, another waitress kindly brought our spicy tuna roll. 3. Customer Treatment: Throughout the meal, our waiter remained dismissive and inattentive, which made us feel unwelcome. It also seemed that our group may have been treated differently because we were foreigners. To make matters worse, we later noticed that a 19.5% tip had been added to our bill without our consent, after the card was already charged. Our total was over $100, and we would have gladly left a generous tip ourselves if we had received at least respectful service. In the end, we chose not to dispute the charge, but I wanted to share this experience so others can be aware. The food was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired.

We went to Blue Dragon Amsterdam for a children's party, and it was absolutely fantastic! They had a separate room in the back where we could all sit together, away from the other guests. That was really nice and cozy. We could also do some karaoke. The food was delicious, especially the sashimi, which was super fresh and delicious. The service was great—friendly, fast, and very helpful. You can park conveniently nearby, €10 for 3 hours in the parking garage. Perfect! We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back! 🍣😊

This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in Amsterdam. My friend booked a VIP room for her son's birthday party. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The staff was very friendly. Even though it was crowded that night, we still received excellent service. The sushi was incredibly fresh and varied, and the teppanyaki, wok, and grill options were also very extensive. I can't wait to try it again.

We decided to choose Blue Dragon for our son's first birthday party. They have a separate room that can accommodate at least 22 people, so we can have a separate space away from other guests without disturbing others. Despite being very busy that night, their service was excellent. The new menu remains delicious, especially the sashimi and lamb chops, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Parking is also very convenient; you only need to purchase a €10 parking ticket at checkout for three hours of free parking. Thank you very much for a pleasant dinner for my family and me.😊😊😊

I was not expecting from an eat all you can in Amsterdam but this place is really good. I was expecting it to be okay but a lot of what we ordered were really good and the garlic gambas and the salmon in crispy seaweed was a standout! The beef steak was also good and tender; not over or undercooked. Will definitely eat here again next time. Only improvement I could recommend is service as the staff seemed a bit off and unfriendly.

Occasionally, things go wrong; dishes aren't served or the wrong ones are. The staff didn't speak much, but the food was delivered without a word. In 5 days in Amsterdam we ate in 3 all you can eat sushi restaurant. This was now the good one . You pay 40€ per person like all the others . You get less choice in each order . You get to choose 3 per person . I would say the beef was good . The sushi wasn’t that good. The rice had not that good of a taste . Drinks are the same price every where . after eating at all the All you can eat sushi restaurant I assure you that I would go to shiso or miu instant of blue dragon ( the videos on TikTok might say different but it’s not the same at all )

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, so there is something for everyone, and on top of that, the cocktail list is fantastic. Our food and drinks were served quickly, each dish beautifully presented, and most importantly: every single bite was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the preparation. All in all, we had a wonderful evening at Blue Dragon. It’s a place we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, and we are already looking forward to coming back!

Our drinks arrived literally 30 min after our food, we were told that they didn’t have enough ppl at the bar. Bathroom was dirty with no paper towels for hands and broken hand dryer. What a disappointment. This used to be a place where you could eat well, but unfortunately that is a thing of the past. The menu has been changed and that is clearly not in a positive way. The quality of the food has deteriorated considerably and many dishes simply taste mediocre or boring. It seems that it is mainly about making money instead of offering experience or quality. On social media such as TikTok everything looks great, beautiful images, tasty smoke presentations but the reality is really different. You get a show once, after that it is all pretty ordinary. Especially when you look at the price you pay, it is absolutely not worth the money. This is one of the least impressive all-you-can-eat experiences I have had in years. Not to be repeated for me.

We definitely recommend this restaurant! We have 2 families with 4 young kids. They reserve a separate room for us which is super place for hosting kids without disturbing others, while safe and easy for us as well. Besides of that, food is delicious, especially beef! Rainbow row has special surprise. Curry shrimp is amazing. Kids all love the food. The waitress is nice and warm, very friendly! All in all, this is a nice place to come again.

Great food, not been there for a while (previously, 2024) 1x every two weeks) The all you can eat menu is unfortunately much less in terms of types of sushi. I recommend ordering a la cart. Much cheaper and more choice. I liked the (crispy) fried prawns the best then, now they are softly fried/served in a kind of sauce. So not as they are depicted on the menu. The tenderloin was now much softer and better fried than last time. Otherwise I found everything the same. The staff was friendlier than then, maybe because it was quiet now? On a Wednesday evening, 1 adult (€40), 2 kids (a €20) all you can eat, bottle of spa and 3x soft drinks €103,-.

Has really deteriorated. The fish among the sushi is hard to find here. Just crab sticks and chicken. A year ago there was much more choice of sushi, with lots of salmon and tuna. Not anymore. Not friendly either. I often eat here, but if it's the same next time, I'll eat sushi somewhere else.

I came to eat one lunchtime and it was very quiet (no noise). I think I got lucky! All-you-can-eat buffet (served at the table) for €34.95 for lunch from Monday to Friday. You order 6 pieces max via a QR provided on the table. You can reorder every 10 mins (I did it after 5 mins and it worked too). However, be careful, there are supplements on certain dishes and all drinks have to be paid for. And you can also order retail and not take the all-you-can-eat buffet. I highly recommend this restaurant because the quality of the food is really high 🍤🍣

I expected better since the people that encouraged me to go said it was worth it . The variety of dishes is so reduced and the price was crazy even tho we went in the middle of the week and on lunchtime ,3 people for 110€ aprox I would consider positive the presentation of the dishes and the vibe you get from the restaurant plus the music (we even asked the staff for the playlist) but as a spanish, i'd say i've eaten way much better and cheaper in all you can eat asian buffets in Madrid.

We went here on a wednesday evening for dinner. The food itself is not great. Warm food was luke-warm, dimsum has been too long in the steamer (hard chewy edges) and sushi felt pre-made beforehand (because the chicken roll was very cold and rubbery).

Went for a buffet with friends at lunch. This restaurant specializes in Japanese food, but also has many Chinese, Korean, and Thai specialties. They are all delicious. Ordering in small and multiple portions is very suitable! You can’t go wrong no matter how you order sushi. The seafood and grilled meats are also very tender. My friend said that even the relatively niche fried vegetables are fresh and delicious! The aunt's service was also very enthusiastic and recommended that we try everything. As expected, every new dish was a new surprise!

We had a great dine-in experience at The Blue Dragon in De Pijp. They offer both à la carte and all-you-can-eat options, which is really convenient depending on how hungry you are. What’s worth noting is that both options use the same menu, so even if you order à la carte, the portions are on the smaller side but honestly, the food makes up for it. Everything we tried was super fresh and flavorful, from the sushi to the grilled chicken and beef dishes. Service was also surprisingly fast, which made the whole experience even better.
