With my company I had to catch up many years of living the life. We didn’t care much what to eat, we both like Japanese food anyway, and asked the staff just to bring nice food and that’s what they did. A regular serving of different delicious dishes throughout the evening delivered by very polite staff. All in all a Very satisfying experience indeed!

The food was delicious! The sushi was good, the shrimp tempura was delicious. The salmon nigiri was especially great! Luckily, this isn't a place where the balance of rice and ingredients is out of whack. The sushi was great! In my opinion, the neighborhood knows about it too; it seemed like a lot of locals were there. I'll definitely be back!

Japanese food in Amsterdam, located near the Holocaust Museum. A small place with a pretty good atmosphere, and now the best part... a wide variety of sushi and some more Japanese dishes, and of extraordinary quality. The drinks with dinner are much cheaper than other places (beers for €3.50, soft drinks for €2.75, and if you want a Hendrick's digestive with Dever Tree tonic for €8.50... and much more). Price: around €25 depending on what you order. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. The staff are incredibly friendly and always hardworking. 100% worth it, and I'll always keep coming back!

Stumbled upon this place and was shocked at the quality of the food. I am a sushi lover and this was likely the best sushi I’ve had. Even the wasabi and ginger was very authentic. Service was very friendly and laid back. Will return next time I’m in Amsterdam

Absolutely beautiful quaint little Japanese restaurant. A must for a charming little date spot or a chill night out. Fish is quite fresh and a great selection. Not a place for over-the-top sushi rolls but more for traditional/ classical food that fuels the soul. Love the hospitality from this little family restaurant!

This place is a gem!!! Everything is so good: the food was amazing, all the staff were incredibly sweet and the atmosphere is perfect. For a person that loves japanese cousine, you can really tell that the restaurant is an OG.

Beautiful place, super friendly owner. We went for a late lunch and were welcomed with open arms. Highly recommended, peaceful atmosphere, and exquisite food. We'll definitely be back tomorrow to try more dishes.

We arrived at 11:00 p.m. while they were tidying up to close and they still made us food. The scampi tempuras were delicious and then the beef udon noodles were succulent. We'll come back

Looking for something to eat near my hostel I found this spectacular Japanese food restaurant; It was so delicious that I went for dinner 4 days in a row and tried different dishes every day. The rice and sushi, along with the miso soup with real Japanese flavor. The owner was a sweetheart, she always recognized me and on the last day she gave me a beer.

First time eating here today. Not necessarily the most beautiful restaurant, but definitely one of the tastiest! And that for a very reasonable price. There was a sweet lady in the service who was running her legs off. In short, we had a delicious meal and enjoyed it. Recommended!

I went two days ago, and it was a surprise, I went to the wrong door and ended up entering this restaurant, and it was the best thing that happened to me. The waitress is VERY friendly, the food VERY delicious, I only ate udon noodles, but the portion was perfect. ps: the food smelled so good that I didn't manage to take a photo before trying it hahaha

Absolutely incredible sushi. We’re staying across the street and tonight was our fourth meal here. The food is so consistently delicious! Amazing vegetarian options as well. Highly recommend the M24 sushi (I forget the name) The service is incredible, they remember our orders!

Pleasant and smiling staff. Quality is essential when it comes to sushi and maki. Served quickly. Lots and lots of choice. You really need to take the time to read the map. Some prices may be a little expensive but this is not the whole menu. This is why you need to read carefully. Recommended because it was a treat. THANKS

Food is ok but it was too slow serving that we feel so tired and wanted to give up half way many times. They are polite and nice but I dont think I will be coming back.

What a wonderfully nice tent. Friendliest staff, delicious food and good prices. It is not a strict concept like the average Amsterdam catering industry. That's the charm and it's nice that it still exists! Let yourself be taken here and enjoy a wonderful evening.

Stayed in Amsterdam for 4 days and came to this restaurant twice. There's only a few staff members but they were all very nice. Took our order quickly and brought out food soon after. The Japanese fried rice was amazing, they use sushi rice which I loved the texture of. Had teriyaki beef one day and marinated fried chicken the other with the rice and both were lovely. My partner ordered sushi which I also tried and again, was amazing. Very reasonably priced for what we ordered, too. We had 2x fried rice, 1x fried (about 6 pieces) chicken and 2x sushi (about 16 pieces) and it only came to €31! We were absolutely stuffed and very satisfied by the end that we couldn't resist visiting for a second time before leaving. Couldn't recommend enough.

There are restaurants where you have to come for the food. This is one of them. The sushi is made fresh every day and you can taste and see that. The prices are really low. The decoration is ok… service is very friendly! It's a wonderful evening out with old-fashioned friendliness and a perfect price/quality ratio!

We had a lovely dinner. Everyone was friendly, the food was goood! I really like the menu (also the drinks) and think everyone can find something they like. We enjoyed everything we ate but especially the salmon tempura maki. I will definitely be back with more family and friends 🍣🥟🍱✨

Great Udon, the first time I found and tried salmon tempura at a restaurant: it s a shame because it was amazing and more restaurants should do it too. The waiter, who spoke English was really busy but kept smiling and was friendly. I highly recommend this place and will be back next time I ll go to Amsterdam!

Ate very well with a lot of choice of food. Unfortunately the lighting is a bit dim. Tip: reserve or request a seat on the upper floor.

I just arrived at the hotel from the airport and I was almost starving. I searched nearby and found that this store was still open, so I went there. It was a very cute store with a good atmosphere. Everyone was happy and the service was very good. The food is also very cost-effective. I recommend everyone to try it.

What a fantastic little restaurant that is well priced. Our family had miso soup, sashimi, katsu chicken, teppanyaki, sake, beers, soft drinks, fried icecream and icecream all for under 90 euros. Staff were attentive and polite with food coming out promptly and tasting delicious. We definitely recommend this place!

Lovely spot with great crispy tempura.

Atmosphere was basic and yet really good. Waitress was lovely, friendly and tried very hard to be polite and respectful. Try one of the menu’s; they’re good value for money. We tried the D20 and were surprised it consisted of 3 courses. The sushi is good, however the rice could be prepared a bit better - rice was a bit hard. All in all, I would recommend it if you would like to have a nice dinner, nothing fancy.

This is a wonderful neighbourhood Sushi place. The tempura, a house speciality did not disappoint, light, crisp, perfect. we had a few sushi rolls, all were delicious, the fish was fresh and tasty, and i love the creativity of some of the inside out rolls. it was busy and the service was efficient and quick. prices were very affordable and i would have paid a lot more for food that good. highly recommended

We stopped at this place by chance during a weekend we spent in Amsterdam. I can only say good things: friendly service, perfect sashimi, lots of options. The miso soup was white miso, which I love. In addition to the soup, we had a sashimi platter and chicken gyoza. The table next to us had yakitori. We did not try it, but the smell and look were both amazing!

One oft the nicest places to eat in Amsterdam. I has a true atmosphere not just a touristic charme. The food is good without attitudes. And the service is sincere and friendly. Next time in Amsterdam we surely will be there!

Great sushi, great tempuras. Friendly service and OK prices. We always go for the spicy ebi fried inside out roll. The special California roll with flamed salmon is very good. I also recommend the salmon cream cheese roll, the fried asparagus in it makes it a really good sushi in terms of taste but also texture. It is a cosy place with a very nice owner.

Heerlijk gegeten en het personeel was echt heel erg vriendelijk. We hebben zelfs een keer bij besteld omdat we het zo lekker vonden. We hebben echt een hele gezellige avond gehad!!

Hier pasgeleden met twee dochters heerlijk gegeten, aardige en vriendelijke bediening. De sushi's die wij hebben gegeten vonden we echt zalig, de aanbevolen yakitori viel ook in de smaak en hebben deze zelfs nog een keer extra besteld. Wij vonden de prijs die we moesten betalen meer dan redelijk, hebben weleens veel meer moeten betalen in een ander restaurant waar het eten van een veel mindere kwaliteit was. Helaas wonen wij niet in de buurt anders kwamen we zeker een keer weer terug. Was voor herhaling vatbaar.

Good option to dine in this neighborhood Its not a perfect Japanese sushi ya, with polished food. I assume these guys are not from that school of food training lineage. Coupled with friendly but confused service. Its nice and Unpretentious though.

I came to the restaurant thinking it was a basic sushi place but to my surprise they had a lot to offer So much that I could not choose, so I ordered a chefs menu, and I loved it I received I think 6 rounds of amazing food the chefs menu is pricy but now I understand seeing how much you will receive so I think it is worth it 👌 The dutch but also japanese hosts were very kind and pleasant. I do wanna go again to try another chefs menu 😋

Love love love! It was so great that I came back for a second meal :) I got the duck and green onion skewer, red dragon roll, and fried mix. All delicious! The plum wine is worth trying if you like sweet drinks. Definitely come give it a try! <3<3<3

Good quality sushi and ambiance! The waitress was extremely kind and hospitable. It is a bit far from the city centre but worth the walk! We got an adorable little shopping basket with chocolates and candies after we paid :)
