We were just here for a drink on the terrace. Pretty tasty iced coffee, and fortunately, across the street, a pretty okay price for what you get!

Had a delicious meal today. And Chantal the waitress was super friendly. A real star with a heart for her customers and her work.

Served by such a sweet and polite waitress. She had only been on duty for 3 days, but it felt like she had always worked there. We would come back every week just for her, so to speak. Unfortunately, we don't know her name, but she could have been Mariska Bauer's sister, one-to-one. Huge praise from us to BLVD.

Very kind people working here, despite the location its very affordable and you get really worth for your money! Location js very nice as its near the concert venues and we went around 17:30 and it was not that busy in the restaurant!

The food was fine, and the service was good. However, in the ladies' restroom, there was (once again) no soap available, and the hand dryer was broken. Instead, they had hung up two towels. The restaurant was full. It does not seem hygienic to me for about 50 people to dry their hands on these cotton towels.

The food and atmosphere was perfect, but the service was very slow.

Delicious apple pie that is also warmed up for you! This is a real plus. We enjoyed it immensely! I will definitely be back.

The place is quite nice, but I was disappointed with my experience. I ordered the sweet potato fries with truffle mayo. When the dish arrived and I tried it, I immediately noticed that the sauce did not taste like truffle mayo at all — it tasted like regular mayo mixed with pesto. I called the waitress and asked if it was actually truffle mayo. She insisted that it was. I explained that it clearly tasted like pesto rather than truffle, but she continued to repeat that it was truffle mayo without checking with the kitchen. As a customer, if I raise a concern like this, I at least expect the staff to consider the possibility and confirm with the kitchen rather than immediately disagree. The sauce even had visible green pieces that looked like pesto, not the darker specks you would normally expect in truffle mayo. Based on the taste and appearance, it really seemed like pesto. Good service would mean taking a moment to verify the issue or offering an alternative solution, such as checking with the kitchen or replacing the sauce. Instead, my concern was dismissed without any attempt to confirm it. Overall, the place itself is nice, but the way this situation was handled was disappointing.

We kept having to wait a bit too long for attention and for our dishes. Mayonnaise was forgotten when we asked for it. Empty glasses went unnoticed. The ribeye was partially overcooked. These were the kinds of small things that made it "just not quite okay." The food was still good, although my table companion found the fried chicken salad disappointing. Strangely enough, a second large bowl of mayo was served with the satay. My carpaccio was tasty, although I had stomach cramps for the rest of the evening. The final bill of €160 for 4 people wasn't bad. Perfect location next to the parking garage and across from the Amstelveen Theatre.

I must say this was a pleasant surprise after my last rather bad experience a few years back. The ribeye was grilled medium rare perfectly, the Japans Trio was pretty good too although the serving could be a bit more generous. Service was pleasant. What strikes me was the demographic shift. It used to be a place frequented by 20 and 30 years old. Today the average age of the visitors is around 50 and up.

My friend spilled a cup of tea. Amy, who works there, was very friendly and helpful in resolving the problem. She wiped it down and got another cup of tea. Excellent service.

Busy restaurant, cramped seating. The staff were friendly enough, but the wait times were long and chaotic. We felt the lack of efficiency. The food is excellent! Reservations are required on weekends.

The food tasted good. But the prices are ridiculous considering what you get! The bun was dripping with sauce and there was barely any meat on it. A children's menu for €10.75!!!! A few fries, 6 chicken nuggets, some applesauce, and a little ketchup. Outrageous! The only positive thing was the friendly service.

The food was delicious, the staff were very attentive. The dishes were good, fresh, and tasty. Nothing particularly special, but definitely recommended.

Disappointing place; the Singapore chicken was dripping in sweet and sour soy sauce. And so was the bread underneath. The beef in another dish was bone dry and therefore difficult to eat. Two stars because the service was friendly and efficient. It might be nice for a drink, but the kitchen really needs to improve, especially at these prices.

A nice lunch restaurant, although the space between the tables was a bit tight. You had to go up the stairs to reach the restrooms.

We didn't have much time to eat because of a theater performance, but the staff assured us we could order and the food would be served on time. And what they promised was true. Our order was served in no time, even though all the tables were occupied. Very friendly service. Nice, somewhat dark atmosphere. Clean restrooms. The price-quality ratio of the food is a bit high. There were specialty beers, but the selection was limited.

Terrible place, sat on the patio last summer. It took fifteen minutes for them to even come take our order! Yeah, well, like it or not... do you want to make money? Yes or no??? Well, get to work then! It takes a little longer, okay, but the burger... tastes like nothing. Not a homemade burger, most likely one from a wholesaler or something. But then you'll be charging a hefty 17 euros. Never again for us. Or maybe in the future. Tip: make your own burgers, specialize more! Competition on the town square = 0! Seize your opportunities!

Yesterday, the two of us wanted to eat here. Upon entering, we spotted a nice table in the back by the window. Because it was busy, we politely asked a server to sit there. No problem, as the table wasn't reserved. After a few minutes, a young waiter came to tell us we had to move to a smaller table, tightly squeezed between two other fully occupied tables. He explained that our table was meant for four people. He politely explained that his colleague had given us permission to sit there. I understand he's instructed to keep occupancy (read: revenue) as high as possible. But the hospitality, which is also important for a restaurant, was lacking. That probably hadn't been explained to the young man yet. He left out of frustration.

Bad service, order forgotten. When you ask for information about wine, they don't know and they don't get back to you👎🏻

Philly cheesesteak club sandwich. Very mediocre. The carpaccio wrap was fine, what could possibly go wrong? And when on earth are restaurants going to stop serving plain chips? Poor thing. It wasn't bad, the service wasn't bad, I wouldn't return.

I was here for lunch and had a chance to relax. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everything went smoothly. It's always nice when dietary requirements are taken into account—in this case, the chicken wrap was halal, which I really appreciated. All in all, a pleasant experience, and definitely worth repeating.

This might just be one of the best restaurants in Stadsplein! The service is generally excellent.

We had a wonderful meal with our family on a quiet terrace. The generously filled sandwiches, the satay, and the goat cheese salad were delicious. The service from the friendly young lady, Pebles, was professional and relaxed. Another plus. That's why we keep coming back to BLVD for all these reasons... Highly recommended. Racism is rampant among some of the staff (young men) today. As a Moroccan and/or Muslim, you're ignored here and can therefore never place your order. I waited patiently for 20 minutes, looking up while others who came after us were helped. Only after directly confronting a staff member about this blatant racist behavior did they give the excuse that they didn't see us, haha. Joke of the day, you get the idea. Not recommended, even for our fellow citizens who don't want to be associated with racists. Avoid this place!

Location - Right in the Amstelveen Stadshart courtyard, sunny spot for the afternoon. We initially went for a coffee but were intrigued to try something to eat too. We had ordered omelette and Mozzarella salad. The service was good and the food too. Would like to visit again to try other things and enjoy the sun

I found it very annoying that there are screens with advertisements on them in the toilet, above the sink and in the men's room you are looking at them when you use the urinal. It's like being in an episode of Black Mirror. You see enough advertisements on your phone, why do I have to see this during a toilet visit in a restaurant?! Felt like a total invasion of my privacy. Drinks were fine, service was very slow.

Even snel een drankje doen met z’n drieën. Lauwe rose, bittergarnituur wat lauw was, de sausjes bij het bittergarnituur stonden volgens mij voor de 2e ronde op tafel. De bediening jong en onervaren. Is vol van zich zelf en zien hierdoor de gasten niet zitten. Misschien een training gastvrijheid! Kwaliteit-prijs klopt van geen kant. Eens maar nooit weer!!

Not a nice place, came across as very racist... you then sit on the terrace and make eye contact with the staff several times to place an order. They then look at you and nod that they have seen you. Then they don't come, this happens several times, but I thought it was probably because of the crowds, so I'll wait a little longer. Until you literally notice that you are deliberately not being helped, even another customer (who was sitting behind us) who was already enjoying his drink notices it and literally asks the staff if they can help me. Even then they nod but they still don't come and quietly help other customers while I'm still waiting. The customer behind me even indicated that it seems like it is conscious! One thing is for sure, I won't be back! This is very unfortunate

It looks classy and fairly luxurious from the outside, but the food was disappointing. The Chicken Club Sandwich is nothing more than toasted bread with cold toppings (smoked chicken) and Joppie sauce. That's not how it should be, especially at that price (16.50). It's also a shame that the pastries are not home-made. That makes you wonder: what can they do?

The food is tasty, but the service is not friendly at all. Disinterested, doesn't care about you. We had to get up after half an hour to ask if we could have a dessert menu. Moreover, it is very crammed. We sat at a small table against the wall, near a fake blossom tree. I sat with my back practically against another guest; she had to move forward when I had to stand up, and vice versa. Not a good feeling.

Food quality is on poor side, ingredients are not good enough to justify price. The burger comes with a very low quality brioche bread and unsalted fries. The atmosphere could be nice if you like it but it is not cozy in anyway.

The service was very annoying. During the meal I was asked at least five times if I wanted to have my plate and glass taken away, even though they were not even empty. The restaurant was almost empty, so there was no crowds that could have been the reason for my table not being cleared quickly.

Ik kom hier vaker lunchen met een vriendin, zo ook zaterdag. De broodjes zijn ruim belegd en lekker. En de eigenaar is een goeie gastheer. De bediening is net zo vriendelijk. Volgende keer weer!

Nice place near the Amstelveen shopping center, we were quickly assigned a table for a drink and a snack. The atmosphere was good and nice staff!

Had dinner here today with my mother, there were still dried sauce stains on the table, the apple pie was completely frozen and was anything but fresh, furthermore the service was anything but nice, there was not a single smile. The club sandwich was otherwise “decent”.

Tasty sandwich with pieces of tenderloin (for me a Japanese Tokyo sandwich, but there are more choices), a welcome addition to the usual lunch dishes for the carnivore.

Toen we gingen zitten waren we praktisch de enigen. De gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en amicaal. De cocktails waren lekker en met €11,50 normaal geprijsd. Het brood met dips bestond uit op drie sneetjes supermarkt brood met humus en salsa dip (supermarkt kwaliteit) en dat voor €8… De cola werd meteen een grootglas (zonder overleg) voor €7,50!!! De Spa blauw was overduidelijk lauw kraanwater voor €3!!! Vervolgens werd het druk en liep personeel rond als een kip zonder kop. We hebben 3x drinken en 1x een verkeerde maaltijd aangeboden gekregen. Bij andere tafels gebeurde hetzelfde… Het eten was oké, niet bijzonder maar dat hadden we ook niet verwacht. Bij het vlees zat mega veel friet en enkele blaadjes sla. Na het eten werd niet meer naar ons om gekeken en werd de tafel pas afgeruimd toen we na een half uur iets anders wilden bestellen. Toen we als toetje een cocktail wilden werden we verwezen naar de bar beneden met de boodschap “maar ik wil jullie niet weg jagen”. Mijn drinken was nog niet op en de volgende gasten stonden al aan onze tafel te wachten…

We reserved a table because we were going to visit the theater. Food was very tasty. We had to wait quite a while before we could get a table. Four staff members who walk by say they will be there soon. Furthermore, very friendly. A 10% discount on presentation of a theater ticket is of course very nice. The only downside is the noise. You can't actually understand each other. 85 Decibels. Would love to come back again when it's not so busy.

I eat here often and it is usually to my liking, but today it was very disappointing. The beet burger was tasteless, service was poor and the bill was incorrect. Very unfortunate. We might try it again.

I was here yesterday and unfortunately I was a victim of racism. Very racist waiter. It took a very long time before we were helped and after calling several times he indicated that he would 'be right there'. Finally helped by another waiter after half an hour. When ordering, my friend told me what he wanted, the waiter kept looking at me and kept indicating that I had to order. I indicated that my friend has already mentioned it, so I think that is nonsense. Later when ordering the food, it happened exactly the same again unfortunately. Ate here with friends, ordered a goat cheese wrap, there was a strange taste to the dressing, not tasty, a bit moldy. And unfortunately that dressing was also in the wrap. The five of us sat on the terrace on Monday, August 12 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The food and drinks were very tasty and everything was on the table quickly. However, the service from one lady was really substandard. She made some strange comments, like she didn't feel like it today and that she was only there for the money. There was not a laugh. When we went to pay, this feeling was confirmed once again, when she ran to the bar and said that our table had “only tipped 5 euros”. Not very useful if I'm still standing around the corner and can hear everything. Maybe take a look at why that is the case instead of whining that you get that. When I then said “werkse”, she didn't say anything and just looked at me. The other lady who worked there with red/blonde hair was super nice and kind, but the lady with 2 braids was not very hospitable. Too bad about the experience, because otherwise it is a super nice place to sit.

BLVD has a great ambiance. The service was great and the food was delicious. A great place to have an intimate dinner or an evening out with friends. I highly recommend it.

What a strange experience. We thought we'd have a drink, and unfortunately the choice was limited so we ended up at BLVD. Upon entering, there was a noticeable fish frying smell and the music was way too loud. Service was very nice. I think you have to like the atmosphere.

Unbelievably arrogant staff. We were with friends and only small amount of us didn’t want to drink. They made problem out of this. They even didn’t let us charge our phones on an empty outlet.

Burger was vol met barbecuesaus, mijn dochter vond de saus niet lekker en liet daarom de hele burger staan. Toen ik aangaf dat er ook wel erg veel saus op zat werd er gezegd dat ze het zou doorgeven, maar er werd niet geprobeerd ons alsnog tevreden te stellen. Veel te duur voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt!

The drinks were delicious, but way too high in price. The seat on the long sofa is also very bad. The backrest is much too high and too straight. You just fall over.
