Tasty food, well-filled sandwiches

A tasty bite, for a nice price. I come here quite often and also enjoy the friendly people at Boerkse here. Keep up the good work.

I ate a shrimp burger today, wow what a winner, delicious, I will definitely come back for this burger.

It was very hot in the Hornbach branch where this Boerske store was located, so I really wanted an ice cream. A small cup of soft serve was already €3.25, but I was thirsty and they also had orange ice cream, which I wanted to try. You had to order via a kiosk, but no receipt came out with a number on it; no, you had to enter your name, and when your order was ready, your name was called out loud: so much for privacy! The taste of the ice cream was certainly good, but the quantity was embarrassing; it absolutely did not resemble the contents of the cup in the photo on the ordering kiosk (I also find it unpleasant that there was no more ice cream), and paying €3.25 for so little ice cream was the first and last time...

They're such great people there Sandwiches, tok tok, I didn't know what hit me, they were so delicious.

Had a delicious Boerske hamburger; it is a delicious Italian bun that is wonderfully crispy and the meat was really super tender. I also asked for it without tomato; really very friendly staff.

Had a delicious chicken sandwich on Steven's recommendation. He made it really tasty! Definitely worth 5 stars. I will be back more often!

Fries without them cost €5.50, and your container was half full. This was the last time.

I've never had such a bad burger. The so-called "Burger Complete" is supposed to contain pulled pork, but in my first two bites, all I found were tendons. I don't think this was slow-cooked meat, and it's certainly of very poor quality. Moreover, those Italian rolls are completely unsuitable for eating a hamburger. They fall apart with every bite, leaving you with a container of loose meat and bread. So, it was thrown away after four bites.

I ate here, but the quality was lacking. Poor hygiene and poor service. Price and quality are definitely not equal. For these prices, I definitely expected a lot more. The service could also use some improvement.

The staff doesn't speak Dutch and you can't pay in cash. That was also the last time I went. There's nothing wrong with the food, and it's super tasty. I went back one more time anyway. It says they close at 18:00. By 17:45 you can't order anything anymore because everything has already been cleaned. I don't understand that. Just put down that you close at 17:30 or 17:45. Or start cleaning at 18:00. So this was definitely the last time.

Absolutely no stars. Staff barely understand Dutch or English. Just standing there with their iPods and earbuds in. So rude. Sausage rolls undercooked. Toppings on what was supposed to be cream cheese, spread as thin as butter, and that for that price. Brown ham on a baguette.... The pulled pork was pale and barely warm. It had hardly any flavor.

Terrible. What a decline this place has gone. The staff doesn't speak Dutch and they don't understand English. They just stare at you stupidly, and the fillings on the sandwiches are practically nonexistent for the price they're asking. Hands are brushed everywhere and never washed. Hands are run through hair before you spread your sandwich... yuck. Reading other reviews, it only gets worse. Such a shame... but we switched to Boer Geert. Same price... better service and sandwiches.

Don't buy your sandwiches, you pay a fortune, and you have to search for the fillings on your rolls; also, they don't use gloves.

Antisocial behavior by staff and service is nonexistent. This company has really deteriorated. Never come here again. With this kind of service.

My friend and I popped in at 5:30 PM yesterday specifically to get a sandwich because we were incredibly hungry. We were told they only had drinks left. How incredibly awful. They didn't even bother to make a sandwich half an hour before closing time. Terrible service, and I'll never go back.

Food poisoning after eating a meatball sandwich. I was seriously ill within seconds of eating it.

Bought a few sandwiches near closing time. Even though they weren't all there, which I understand, I received expert advice from the young man behind the counter. I often go there when I'm at the hardware store, so I'll definitely keep coming back because of this service.

Great sandwiches and fast delivery. It was noticeable that many of the ordering screens were unavailable, even though they were there.

Cant believe how tasty the philly cheese steak broodje was. Had it with a combi-deal, so got it with a cup of deliciously aromatic coffee. These broodjes are totally worth their euros.

I had a terrible experience at Boerske: Firstly, one of the employees (?) went outside to smoke and left the door open, letting the smoke in. This not only ruined our dining experience, but also showed a complete lack of consideration for customers and fellow human beings. Furthermore, I found a hair in my food. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she claimed it was my wife's hair and refused to give us any compensation. After a long discussion, they finally gave in. This level of customer service is below average. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Hygiene and customer service need to be addressed urgently.

Employees are unhygienic and the sandwiches are inedible. Employees do not speak Dutch. After eating the sandwiches you are stuck in the toilet for an hour. Looks like poison... if there was an option for zero stars I would have chosen that. God how bad.

Much more than what one expects from a snack bar in a hardware store. Well organized service, wide choice, super quality, and not expensive.

What an improvement! I was here some time ago and it wasn't really anything to write home about. I gave it another try today and I'm very happy. Nice boy (with a charming Flemish accent) who helped me and who made my chicken sandwich with great care. Coffee is still not the tastiest, but overall I am very satisfied. I will definitely come back again! :D

We thought we would get some delicious chocolate milk. But no, we got a small cardboard cup with sewage water. Chocolate milk from a coffee machine for 3.50. This is very unfortunate.

No star, what an unhygienic place, staff no hairnet but super long hair, no gloves on, but no washing either, no, just wipe with the apron, same place as the previous customers.... After waiting a long time order ready, but we wanted to take it with us, so my croquette sandwich (already washed by her hands 6 times) is placed on the counter with remnants of oil and stuff from other sandwiches (later it turned out there was also water present)....... No, scandalous, the farmer's burger has no taste, croquette sandwich with scant mayo outside the bun and soaked with remains of the counter, staff does not speak Dutch (one does and translated to the other)....

Boy first takes money, then the food with his bare hands and then the cleaning cloth and then helps the next customer.

It's a shame that the quality has deteriorated so dramatically. At 4 o'clock no more hot toppings and chairs are already on the table because customers are no longer allowed to sit. A boy who touches everything with his hands and does not wash them. Not exactly hygiene Quite expensive if your sandwich is half filled and tough. Shame

Boerkse concept is good, but the staff cannot handle the crowds and are therefore not customer friendly to customers and make the orders wrong twice in a row, which is a shame

Voor het eerst broodjes gegeten. Vriendelijk personeel Snel klaargemaakt en met Verse ingrediënten. Alles zag er netjes uit, ook een aantal zitjes. Na het eerste broodje smaakte het naar meer Werd ook naar je toegebracht door medewerker Nette service

Nu heeft de horeca een moeilijke periode gehad en steen en been geklaagd. Maar als je je bestelling doet moet je er vervolgens zelf achteraan of het wel gemaakt wordt. En het enthousiasme van enkele medewerkers straalde er van af, niet dus. Kom op mensen laat zien dat je weer wat verdienen wil.

Eten van goede kwaliteit. Alleen als klant moet je geen haast hebben! Ook al staan er 5 klanten te wachten, de gene die achter de balie staat krijgt echt geen hulp van collega’s. Die doen net alsof ze het heel druk hebben in het kantoortje. Meerdere keren gezien.

Ik kwam er best vaak , maar ze hebben te vaak dingen in op voorraad , zijn ongeinteresseerd , vergeten je bestelling en een deel van het beleg op je brood . Als je geen concurrentie hebt , gaat de kwaliteit altijd onderuit , jammer

Helaas hebben wij de laatste keer moeten constateren dat de kwaliteit achteruit is gegaan.

Altijd goed eten! Kom er vaak als het zonnetje schijnt en we even de stad in wandelen.

Is wel vaak druk, jammer dat dan halverwege de dag een hoop al uitverkocht of op is... Super lekkere broodjes 👍

Heerlijke broodjes en salade. Bediening snel en vriendelijk. Veel keuze qua kaart.

Ik vond de vorige inrichting beter/gezelliger. Het is nu meer 13 in een dozijn. Broodjes zijn wel lekker, maar niet heel goedkoop.

De lekkerste eten, meest vriendelijke personeel en een heerlijke plek om even tot rust te komen na een leuke middag winkelen in Zaandam.

Heerlijke broodjes, specialiteit "Aan de Hengel" (tonijnsalade) aanbevolen! Ook heerlijke Vlaamse friet, goede lunch mogelijkheden, vers gebakken brood!

Na herinrichting en nieuwe menu is het echt hard achteruit gegaan. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel, broodjes karig belegd, vergeten je bestelling en slecht schoongemaakt.

Zeer lekkere broodjes! Ruime keus aan verschillende broodjes en gerechten. Leuk concept en voor je neus gemaakt. Snelle en vriendelijke service. Nooit lang hoeven wachten en nog nooit 'is op' gehoord. Ingrediënten zijn vers en van goede kwaliteit.

Mi ha divertito il fatto che appena il titolare ha capito che io ed il mio fidanzato eravamo italiani,hanno messo su il cd della Pausini...per farci sentire a casa...purtroppo la pizza non era un gran che...peccato

They didn't have the steak we ordered, 5 minutes after they took our order, them we ordered something g else but it felt a little... Lackluster. Nice meatball sandwich though
