The food was delicious, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. There was a variety of dishes, suitable for breakfast or lunch.

It's a truly amazing cafe, everything was incredibly delicious, and the prices were very reasonable considering its location and atmosphere. The service and friendliness of the staff were also fantastic. I highly recommend you visit.

A particular highlight of our time I'm the Greater Amsterdam area. We ended here teice for breakfast. Quote my friend "the best frappe he'd ever had." Food and drinks were stellar. Recommendation include; Lagom Breakfast for an excellent sampling of all the flavors. Or if you're looking for something more traditional, can't go wrong with the English Breakfast or the Farmers Omelet. And, if you're into people watching, sit outside! Watch everyone and their mothers take a picture in front of the Inttel Hotels.

Very nice place for coffee and pastries. Be aware that their kitchen doesn't open for breakfast until 9 am. Was surprised to hear this when I walked in since it wasn't mentioned in any Google reviews or posted online. We had been looking forward to a nice hot breakfast. But we ended up with some hot drinks and apple pie instead. Staff was very kind about it but other visitors left when they heard about the kitchen..

We had a light breakfast there, including an omelet with a chocolate croissant, tea, juice, and orange juice. Everything was delicious and light, and the service was excellent. Most of the staff were cheerful and respectful. I highly recommend it.

The wait was too long, and the food was nothing special. They served my English breakfast with jam that looked like ketchup, eggs and jam don’t really mix well.

Honestly, it's terrible and not worth the price. Ordering takes an incredibly long time—literally an hour of waiting. I don't recommend anyone try it.

As a citizen of a ‘soup nation’ it was a fascinating experience to taste the local Zaanse mustard soup - delicious, creamy, spicy. The staff is friendly, the place is quiet and cosy. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Zaandam. It's right in front of some nice landmarks. The interior is spacious and clean, and there's also outdoor seating. The service is incredibly fast. The coffee is just okay. We ordered natural eggs with extra cheese, which was delicious, and yogurt with cornflakes and strawberries, which was also delicious.

A really lovely take on an English breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I had hoped to try the traditional “Viking bread” and Dutch-style menu but ended up with an overpriced sourdough toast with an omelette. It tasted fine but no one said they didn’t serve their “Viking” flatbread even though it’s what’s I ordered. The sourdough was extremely dry as well - I opted for no mayo but they didn’t even butter or toast the bread well. I’m not sure about the bacon. I paid extra for veal bacon but it seemed like pork to me. Coffee was good and probably the only thing I’d return for… don’t order the food.

We ate here on April 4th. I come here often because of the tasty food and usually good service. This time, it took 15 minutes before we were served, even though it was quiet. We were told that the kitchen closed at 4:30 PM. Later, another customer was not served until 4:20 PM and was then told that the kitchen was already closed, even though they had been waiting for a while to order. That was not polite. Fortunately, the food was very tasty again.

The food was delicious. And the coffee was amazing. I thank Sister Abeer for her excellent service and hospitality.

The cafe has a cozy atmosphere and the waitresses on Saturdays are amazing!!! And the service is fast too; I got my food within 2 minutes.

We arrived at Lagom in Zaandam at around 4:30 pm hoping to sit outside in the sun and enjoy a quick coffee. Since coffee is something that does not take long to have, we did not expect any issue. However, after paying €4 per coffee, they were served in paper cups. We then asked if we could please have them in normal cups, as we wanted to drink them sitting outside, and only then were we told that they were closing at 5:00 pm and that this was why they were being served in paper cups. The problem is that nobody informed us of this when we paid, which would have been the right moment to let us know, so we could decide for ourselves whether we wanted to pay that price for coffee in a paper cup. For €4, that is simply not acceptable. On top of that, the waitress was not friendly and did not bring sugar, a spoon, or anything else to go with the coffee. Overall, it was poor service, poor communication, and not a pleasant experience.

visited Lagom Café in Zaandam around 4:30 PM (they close at 5:00 PM), so there was clearly enough time to sit and have a coffee. However, we were served in plastic cups without being given the option to stay, and the waitress was unfriendly and dismissive. The coffee came without a spoon, sugar, or honey, and we weren’t asked if we needed anything. If it’s self-service, this should be explained beforehand. Overall, the experience felt rushed, unwelcoming, and poorly handled. A shame, as the place looks nice.

I visited this place for breakfast twice. I tried the mustard soup it was okay and the omelette, was quite dry. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We had to wait a long time before being able to place our order, and when we asked for sauce, it was only brought after we had already finished eating. We also requested to have the soup served before the main dish so both could be enjoyed warm, but the waitress refused and brought everything at the same time. Overall, while I really liked the soup, the unprofessional behavior and poor service from the staff left me quite disappointed.

I came here twice for vacation and it's a lovely place I visit every time. The breakfast bread varieties are delicious. The drinks, especially the coffee, were excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Ice cream is good, but drink and service is a disaster! It seems that the she couldn't understand English and the service is not at all satisfied! 1. I ordered milk tea with coffee jelly, and what she gave me was just some coffee water like thing with a lot of ice. No milk, no jelly in it. 2. I wanted to change to matcha, and the small paper cup matcha flavoured milk costs 4.8€..... 3. She charged me 14.8€( and gave me only the matcha milk and ice cream. If you can cancel the first drink, then why you still charge for it? It you can't cancel the order, then why you don't give me the drink? 4. Absurdly she couldn't even give me the receipt, said I could only take a picture of it... To speak fairly, the ice cream tastes good, but the drink and service is not satisfying!

Slow service and they don't take order into account. I ordered coffee and a croissant, and they brought me the coffee first, but I had to ask for the croissant twice. The coffee got cold, and there wasn't even a napkin. I won't be back.

We had a delicious breakfast at this place we chose for breakfast; the scrambled eggs on pita bread were very tasty. We were also very pleased with Ms. İmran's hospitality and treats. We went there by chance, but we will definitely visit again when we are in the area. I wish them much success.

Had a nice breakfast here. Something was wrong with one of the pastries. The very friendly lady took it off the bill and offered a free drink on top of that. Great food served by super friendly staff.

The white light could use a more yellowish tint. It creates a better atmosphere. Karlijn has beautiful glasses. Dimitri is fantastic and provides excellent service. All in all, top-notch. The spiced mango late drink is fantastic.

It wasn't easy to find a place to eat in the quaint little town of Zaandam. Here, without too many pretensions, you can enjoy simple dishes with excellent fresh smoothies. They have a great selection of homemade desserts, and I found them very tasty. The service is quick and friendly. I recommend it.

A wonderful café. We were here for breakfast. Very tasty and reasonably priced. We had a small breakfast and the avocado smash flatbread (which is highly recommended). The café even has a charging station for mobile phones. The service is incredibly attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful discovery! A clean and bright Nordic-style restaurant on the street leading to the Zandaam City Hall. Delicious and refined dishes, generous portions. The fruit smoothie was also very good. Friendly and friendly staff, reasonably fast service.
