A wonderful discovery! A clean and bright Nordic-style restaurant on the street leading to the Zandaam City Hall. Delicious and refined dishes, generous portions. The fruit smoothie was also very good. Friendly and friendly staff, reasonably fast service.

We were very pleased. The location is in a nice place. The menu is also satisfactory.

We had two hot drinks and the lagombread with fig and goat cheese. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio was excellent, and we would definitely come back.

Cozy tea room in the heart of Zaandam, opposite the Lego houses. Brunch breakfast is served at 9 am with a small croissant, butter, jam, and a yogurt with muesli. The hot chocolate is good. Friendly and welcoming staff.

A restaurant with a predominantly Turkish menu. We tried the omelet, which was good, and the avocado, which was just okay. The service was fast.

I came after a trip to the village of windmills and had a coffee there. I ordered an Americano and carrot cake. The order was okay, the price was good, and the employee (Gabryala) was helpful and kind. It was time for prayer and I asked her permission to pray inside the cafe, and she allowed me to pray in the place of one of the tables.

The place was very nice and airy. The coffee and juice were good. The staff were also very nice :)

The service was good , kind staff , but was super disappointed by the quality of food , the pancakes were undercooked and dense the carrot cake was full of sugar , the rest was okay , but too pricy for the quality, I honestly don’t recommend ..

We came to this place just out of sheer luck. I entered asking if they offered breakfast and I gotta say... what a good-looking man they have in here! We were all mesmerized by him and his presence. He was such a nice person, really. The food is exquisite, delicious to be honest. The vibe of the place, wonderful. I had to ask if the yogurt was lactose-free which was not and the girl in charge wanted to offer me something else. Best people we have ever met. Great service. And eternal thank yous to the waiter... I think... Dimitri was his name. Is one of those euro-trip crushes you never forget. 😜

Love this place. Great to rest after a long shopping day. The service is excellent, the coffee is good and deserts are special. We had the apple pie and blueberry cheesecake.

We ordered a basic breakfast for two. It wasn't as filling as a Turkish breakfast, but it was quite good. Compared to other places, the basic breakfast was 9€, which is more affordable.

The food and coffee were good, and the staff were incredibly welcoming with great vibes. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the cortado—the milk-to-coffee ratio was higher than expected, possibly just a difference in how it’s made in different countries. Overall, still a nice experience.

Very terrible service. As soon as me and my husband get all in the girl who was very none friendly sit us down the after 5 min told us to change the table , turn after 2 min to change the table again. Then we wanted to order food and she said oh yeah we do t have that one. She is full of attitude and disrespect. Won’t recommend!

Not disappointed at! After seeing the reviews we decided to give it a try and we ended up with the most delicious breakfast that we ever had! In our case we shared the " Lagom breakfast "; in our case it was ideal to share between 2, for drinks we got cappuccino and moccachino both were tasty. My hubby's used to hate hummus, but he fell in love with this one! Also he loved the cheese and the yoghurt which he wasn't a fan of! If you are doubting if you should give it a shot, just do it because it worth it. Atmosphere very chill and quiet. The place has beautiful view.

I was looking for a last-minute lunch spot, and this was it. It's just a few meters from the station, so it's ideal if you're arriving by train or bus. The menu is very clear with photos, which I always find helpful. There's an English menu as well as a Dutch one. The service is quick and friendly. I was with a friend; she had the smashed avocado and I had the grilled sausage. The bread is a flat, semi-soft loaf. Both sandwiches were delicious and generously filled. Everything was fresh. The pickled onion/cucumber was under the sausage near the grill. I would have preferred it on the sausage; now everything was hidden, and you have to remove it to distribute it. The chai latte was very sweet, unfortunately, and there was far too much cinnamon on the foam. There are also various pastries. My friend had apple pie. I don't like cold apple pie myself, so I tried a very small piece. The cafe has a view of the highway at the back, which is quite funny. It's popular with tourists. It's a nice place for lunch with a varied menu of delicious options!

Their breakfast is delicious and the portion is large enough for two people. I had avocado smash and an omelet, both of which were delicious. I also tried the pistachio latte, which was delicious but too sweet, and I didn’t like the black coffee.

Loved the food...the meals were very delicious. Definitely worth getting the Dutch pancakes. 5/5.

We had breakfast here on two different days - both days it was delicious.

We found this place based on the positive reviews on Google and tried it. But we weren't very pleased. We ordered 1 simple breakfast and 1 lagom breakfast for 4 people. But then we realized it wouldn't be enough, so we ordered another 1. No one had relayed our order to the kitchen. In the end, we left before eating. The service was so slow, so slow... We even asked for extra bread, and it only came after at least 20 minutes, after a second reminder. Their motto is something like "not too little, not too much." That's why the portions are small.

The place was very nice with attentive staff, I would really come back here, I ordered an omelet which was very good.

Everything was great, we especially loved the mustard soup and goat cheese and honey bread!! The cookies and drinks were equally great. The atmosphere was peaceful with a stunning view. The staff was kind and respectful. We look forward to coming back 🙏🙏

Lovely bistro, with nice service and good food. Great view from the windows. The matcha latte wasn't that good, and the chairs were a bit dirty. Otherwise we had a good time here.

After a 27 km hike (and my mother 10 km), we had a delicious lunch. The staff was super friendly! Especially the one taking our order; they were busy but remained enthusiastic, spontaneous, and kept everything organized. Fantastic!

After the Dam tot Dam, pop in for a quick coffee. The hospitality here is unparalleled. Delicious coffee, fast service, and filtered water you can help yourself. The gentlemen enjoy working together; you can see and feel it. Passion for their work and their customers!

Stopped by at first because it was close to our stay, but honestly it’s worth travelling for! Came three days in a row and ordered the same thing—goat cheese with figs is a must if you have a sweet tooth. Great mix of flavours and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

I arrived at Lagom before 12:00 and managed to get a window seat, a very convenient option considering the crowds, as the restaurant was almost entirely occupied. Breakfast arrived very quickly. The photo shows a Swedish breakfast, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant's interior. Every portion of this meal was very tasty; the only thing I would change was the bread, typically Dutch 🤭, but hey, you're in the Netherlands 😎. I also ordered a cold ginger mint drink – amazing and refreshing, perfect for this type of breakfast 👍 The service was very responsive and very friendly :)

Finally, we found Turkish coffee there. Honestly, it is excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful and the coffee and cheesecake are delicious. The best coffee in Zaandam.

The absolute winner for breakfasts in the Zaandam area! Everything we tried here was fresh, deliciously cooked, and very well presented on a plate! The staff is super friendly and professional. It may be crowded on weekends but the kitchen works on orders pretty fast, so even during peak hours we didn't wait long for our food.

The staff was very friendly, and the cafe's location was great—you could take a picture of the entire LEGO Hotel from the entrance, and it was also close to Zaandam train station. The food was excellent, with a wide selection. My family and I had a wonderful lunch there.

We tried the restaurant, it was delicious. The food was generous and filling. The mustard soup was special and unique. The service was great, and the seating and view were the best. The owner of the restaurant and his Turkish wife were very, very nice. They were next to us at the table. They told us that all the food is halal. When they saw us translating the menu, they told us that they would call an Arabic waiter to serve us, and he did not fail us. Good luck.

Breakfast, a little different. We received a very friendly welcome. The breakfast options were unique, with toppings like hummus, smashed avocado, goat cheese, and grilled sausage on a plate. A bit too contrived for us. But perhaps this will please the international crowd? A lovely spot by the open window on comfortable chairs.

Very nice place. I went when it opened and found a seat right away, but I think it's best to book on weekends. The cappuccino was good, which is quite unique in these parts. Lots of sweet and savory options, and vegetarian/vegan options. The staff was extremely friendly.

Last Saturday, my best friend and I went to Lagom Café in Amsterdam, and what a wonderful experience it was! The flavors were fantastic, and the presentation was truly a feast for the eyes. For lunch, we chose a smashed avocado sandwich, which was both nutritious and delicious. Lagom Cafe is a very popular spot with a stylish and distinctive interior. The menu mainly focuses on light meals. We ordered the spicy seasoned chicken with Lagom bread, a yogurt bowl, a hot chocolate, and an iced coffee. The food was average, but the coffee was excellent — it was honestly the best iced coffee I’ve ever had! The staff were attentive and friendly — and very handsome too!^^

Nice place, the poffertjes are very good! Ideally located opposite the Intel Hotel, known for its spectacular architecture.

They took literally 30 min to serve a coffee, and another 30 min for a dry omelet. This place is absolutely overrated
