A wonderful restaurant in every way. The food was excellent, and the latte was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and décor were beautiful, and the staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very helpful—especially Abeer and Abdulbasit, who provided outstanding service and made our visit even more enjoyable.

Really enjoyed breakfast at Lagom! It was just a short walk from our hotel so it was the perfect spot to start the day. We were lucky to get a table when we arrived because it started getting busier and busier with people coming in after us. We had the turmeric latte, breakfast plate and mini Dutch pancakes with whipped cream and all were really good. The latte especially was great. Shout out to the barista though i didnt catch his name, but you definitely nailed the latte! Also great service from Asma and Ibrahim. They were both really friendly and welcoming which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend Lagom if you’re looking for a good breakfast and great service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What can I say. Im not excited about much in life but visiting Lagom has been a delight. On entry we were greeted very welcoming. Ordering was easy as the menu was easy to read, very illustrated so I knew what I was ordering. Coffee was outstanding, I can say ive never had better coffee anywhere (I have tried coffee all over). The building itself is cleanly decorated, tidy and modern. the music is great and at the perfect volume. The ambience was perfect. Now for the food....... WOW, we had the Lagom breakfast. The meal was the perfect size, clean, fresh, tasty and full of flavor. I cant say I have had a better experience in my time eating out. I recommend everyone try this place, you wont be disappointed. EDIT: day 2 and decided to get 2 coffees and 2 red velvet cakes. Coffee was still the best but the red velvet cake was stale, even tasted stale. 15.00 euro for 2 stale cakes is unimpressive. The staff couldn't care less about the issue raised. Told us the cakes are frozen and defrosted over night thats why they are stale, which is a crazy response. No offer of refund or replacement, just an insincere apology. Makes me regret the 10 euro tip the previous day. So in turn I removed 2 stars from original review.

Welcoming, quiet location. We had a Cinammon Caffè Smaal, which is an Italian ristretto, a truly tasty Lagom Broto Omlet Natural, excellent, soft focaccia, and the vegetables were also fresh and delicious. Finally, an excellent glass of Fresh Ginger, with truly delicious ginger. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to the staff and the chef.

Perfect Breakfast , the waiting time is not too long and of course its worth waiting , this is a must try experience but most breakfast dishes are not available after 12 pm !

Went to Lagom with friends. We had a café latte for €4.60, red velvet cake, and chocolate cake. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. It was busy and there were a lot of people, so we sometimes had to wait for a table to become available. It was also a bit pricey and the staff only spoke English.

Very nice place, highly recommended! I ordered the goat cheese with figs, and it was delicious. The service was top notch, polite, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and chill. We will definitely come back!

Everything is just good. No toppers nothing bad. A safe choise and the food arrives fast. It is fresh food but the eggs were a little overdone. Nice big foam on the cappuccino.

I was excited about it, like many others, but I was shocked by the slow service and the mistakes. Plus, I was an acai student and was shocked by the fruit.

The wait after ordering was very long, about a full hour, and in the end, the order arrived wrong, so we decided to cancel, take our money, and leave (they didn't offer any apology for the delay). The coffee was bad.

Lagom Café in Zaandam absolutely delighted us! We were looking for a nice café for breakfast. The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fantastic! We also want to especially commend the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. We felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. It was so good, in fact, that we went back for breakfast the very next day. If we're ever in Zaandam again, we'll definitely be back!

The staff were friendly, and the service was quick despite the café being quite busy. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that it was a bit crowded and finding a seat took some time. Overall, a great place to relax and definitely worth a visit!

I used to come here fairly regularly, but nowadays they're just messing around. Loud pounding music, tables that haven't been cleared, and staff standing behind the cash register looking uninterested. Go work for your money! Fortunately, there are 3 other coffee shops within 50 meters, so you can walk past this one with peace of mind.

I visit Lagom Café very often, and it remains a pleasant experience every time. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick. The food and coffee are of excellent quality and are prepared with care. There is a wide selection on the menu, and everything always tastes fresh. Whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or just a good cup of coffee, you are always in the right place at Lagom. For me, this is without a doubt one of the nicest places in Zaandam. A restaurant offering delicious meals and excellent service. One of the best restaurants I've tried; definitely worth a visit.

The kitchen closes at 4:30 pm. We were seated around 4:15 pm, but our server never mentioned it. When we tried to place our lagom order at 4:28 pm, we were told the kitchen was already closing and couldn’t fulfill it. If we had been informed when we were seated, we would have prioritize putting in our order before the kitchen closed.

Cozy spot where you can order delicious coffee (to go) and the tastiest Chai Latte. The red velvet Oreo cake is definitely a reason to stop by!

What a lovely place to have lunch. We really enjoyed the dishes, which were not only flavorful but also beautifully presented. The cucumber slices and fried onions on top of the sausage, in particular, made the plate very tasty. The iced coffee was also exactly what we needed. I will definitely be coming back here more often.

Teast was great, a little crowded in the weekend must try when visiting the town Cozy little spot for a late brunch. The place is small, clean, and welcoming, with some of the best coffee in town. I had their omelet and the taste was excellent. It gets a bit crowded on weekends, but the atmosphere stays friendly and relaxed. A must-try stop for coffee and brunch when visiting Zaandam, especially if you enjoy simple, well-prepared food in a comfortable setting.

A particular highlight of our time I'm the Greater Amsterdam area. We ended here teice for breakfast. Quote my friend "the best frappe he'd ever had." Food and drinks were stellar. Recommendation include; Lagom Breakfast for an excellent sampling of all the flavors. Or if you're looking for something more traditional, can't go wrong with the English Breakfast or the Farmers Omelet. And, if you're into people watching, sit outside! Watch everyone and their mothers take a picture in front of the Inttel Hotels.

Very nice place for coffee and pastries. Be aware that their kitchen doesn't open for breakfast until 9 am. Was surprised to hear this when I walked in since it wasn't mentioned in any Google reviews or posted online. We had been looking forward to a nice hot breakfast. But we ended up with some hot drinks and apple pie instead. Staff was very kind about it but other visitors left when they heard about the kitchen..

I ordered a delicious omelet and eggs. I also ordered mustard soup, which didn't suit me at all.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Zaandam. It's right in front of some nice landmarks. The interior is spacious and clean, and there's also outdoor seating. The service is incredibly fast. The coffee is just okay. We ordered natural eggs with extra cheese, which was delicious, and yogurt with cornflakes and strawberries, which was also delicious.
