The fish itself was really good quality, but I missed the option of sauce with my sandwich, which made it a bit dry. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere were very disappointing. During my break, I ordered a kibbeling sandwich and a fish croquette sandwich. Shortly after, two customers arrived who had clearly been coming to this stall for years and chatted frequently with the owner. They had a larger order but were served much faster. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my two sandwiches, while the other customers were able to take their orders within minutes. It seemed like regular customers were given priority, which made for an unpleasant experience for new customers like me. Last time, when the stall was in a different location, they still worked in order, which made this difference even more apparent. Although the quality of the food is excellent, I think service and atmosphere are paramount in restaurants. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. It would be nice if all customers were treated equally, regardless of how often they come or how well they know the owner.

As a new resident of Almere, I've found my go-to place for fresh/fried fish. Fantastic kibbeling! Next time, I'll try the ready-made dishes. Everything looked very good (read: fresh) too.

Delicious kibbeling is fried right in front of you. Nicely seasoned and crispy. I love coming here for fish.

Delicious fish! Not too expensive. Friendly and fun staff! Various types of fish, fried quickly, and full of flavor! Not too salty like some fishmongers. The seasoning is just right! Definitely recommended! It's next to the döner stand under the viaduct.
