Yesterday I ordered food from Josef Amoon via the app but that went very wrong, You can't choose which sauce you want with it via the app so that really needs to be addressed. Anyway I ordered food via the app but after waiting an hour nothing had been delivered, so I called and a delivery person said that there was no order in the computer and that while I had received a confirmation via email. The delivery person kept insisting that he couldn't do anything. So I said that I would come by, I live 5 minutes away, I drove there and showed my confirmation, it turned out that his computer wasn't turned on and he didn't know the password to log in either. Of course we all make mistakes. But when you start the business you make sure that your system works first. The owner did apologize and I also told him that I wasn't angry, but that you check everything before you open the business. I thought the owner spoke very bad Dutch. The food was good, delicious. But there are a few things that could be improved.

Shocking. Nothing left. Shawarma looks more like the shawarma from the supermarket. Really sad that the whole concept is dying. The magic is gone. Josef never wanted this.

Ate here again after a long time. It was very tasty and more than enough, whatever we had left was immediately said, you can also take it with you. The service/service was also very good. The place is nice and clean, and we will definitely come back here again.

Best shawarma for when I'm in Almere. Seasoned as it should be. Chat at the counter. Service-oriented. Dining area looks neat and tidy. Not chaotic, but relaxed atmosphere.

Today we came to eat again for the 2nd time. The question was whether I wanted to write a review. I'm not really into it, but I have to say that I had a delicious meal again. Meat was again very tasty. Potatoes also nicely fried and a fairly full plate of food with a tasty salad. Keep this up!

It should not be called Josef! Shawarma was fried, dry with blackened hard pieces, and the order was not complete. To honor Josef, this place should come up with a different name!

Shawarma is cut much too coarsely, large chunks of meat. It went straight into the click shop.

I wanted to order because in the past they had delicious shawarma here. Via their own site I would have paid 28 euros, but I received the message that they do not deliver to this zip code. The business is located in the Rainbow Neighborhood, I myself live in the Comic Strip Heroes Neighborhood. Literally 1 neighborhood next door. Delivery would be possible via home delivery, but the price would then be 34.50! Given the benefit of the doubt, I called anyway. Response: then it is too far away? And order via home delivery. Not customer friendly and not understandable. Unfortunately! Obviously didn't order anything.

I have been coming here for about 25 years to get the tastiest shawarma in the Netherlands and that is still the case. Also with the current owner. Deliciously coarsely cut with an occasional crispy edge, one word fantastic. Yesterday I got a delicious double cheese burger for my son and it was nice and coarse on the inside with a delicious grilled flavor. Here too you can taste 'the quality' that is of paramount importance here, chapeau!!!.

Pricey sandwich and fries that weren't even really tasty. Very strong in taste.

I've gotten food a few times, since the old owner left the food has been junk. And coincidentally I was walking near Eesterplein and I came across the old owner who has opened a new business and the quality there is top notch. And good food.

Had een kleine shoarma schotel en kipfilet schotel besteld + losse pita. Kosten ruim 34 euro. Wordt gebracht, zat geen pita bij en gebakken aardappelen waren kei hard gebakken. Ook geen uien saus bij de shoarma. Heb er over gebeld , krijg je eerst 3 man aan de telefoon. Gaat meneer 3 vertellen dat ik door bakken aardappelen had besteld en dat er nooit uiensaus bij zit. Uiteindelijk wordt er sorry gezegd en dat het niet meer zal gebeuren. Dit is al de 3 e keer dat een bestelling fout gaat. Wij zijn er klaar mee nu. Mag voor die 34 euro toch wel wat verwachten ,of niet soms.

Als vanouds heerlijk eten van hoge kwaliteit, personeel is gezellig in voor een praatje. Wat dat betreft jammer dat ik nu niet meer in Almere Buiten woon.

Nov 2023 Jimmy heeft zichzelf overtroffen! Voor 45 personen shoarma en spare-ribs gehaald! Al mijn gasten waren zeer enthousiast over de smaak en malsheid van het vlees! Dank je wel Juli 2023 Heerlijkste shoarma ooit gegeten! Deze wordt vers gemarineerd door eigenaar zelf! En op verzoek ook grof gesneden verkrijgbaar en de spareribs zijn uitmuntend!

Het eten hier is echt top, personeel is echt aardig en het is een schone zaak. Echt een aanrader!

Een grote kapsalon kost 11 euro de kleine koste 8 maar het kleine bakje zag er heel klein uit. Het was wel lekker. De patat is best groot. Krijgt je sausjes apart. Ze hebben niet veel keuze voor op de kapsalon alleen sla komkommer en tomaat maar was wel lekker.

Na eerst via thuisbezorgd besteld te hebben, omdat Amoon zelf telefonisch niet bereikbaar was voor 45 minuten. 1,5 uur gewacht op het eten. In deze tijd waren ze niet 1x telefonisch bereikbaar. Uiteindelijk zelf het eten gaan halen. Als tegemoetkoming werden mij 2 kale pitabroodjes aangeboden..... Tot een aantal weken geleden was de shoarma hier perfect. Nu was het echt niet lekker. Er zat een overheersende curry smaak aan. De patat was slap en het kleine beetje sla te zuur. Jammer!

Vriendelijk personeel, lekker eten en hoeft niet heel lang te wachten. Altijd wel een parkeerplekje te vinden.

Heerlijk gegeten voor een zeer redelijke prijs. Vriendelijk personeel. Satésaus was aan de zoute kant.

Altijd goed, mijn favoriete schotel klein amoon. Meer paprica minder uitjes :) kom er al jaren af en toe pauze maar altijd goed. :) Recent als je de spare ribs proeft zal je ervaren dat het de beste zijn van heel Almere en omstreken!!!!

Heerlijke Spareribs en patat met kruiden.

Al begin jaren 90 kwamen we bij Josef, die toen nog in de Bouwmeesterbuurt zat. EN nog steeds komen we van tijd tot tijd even een heerlijk broodje halen. Super vriendelijk, altijd hardwerkend, druk en gezellig. De ruimte is wat gedateerd, het is niet altijd spik en span, maar het eten is altijd geweldig. Josef maakt nog altijd zelf de vleesspiezen en heeft een hekel aan de fabrieks spiezen. En dat proef je ook. Vele uren is hij bezig in de week om alles voor te bereiden. Mijn advies: Tosti Amoon super. Open geklapt pita broodje, bedekt met veel shoarma met paprika en ui en gesmolten kaas eroverheen..........Daar kan je me voor wakker maken

Kwaliteit van de shoarma is vers, zelfs de sla bij de schotel is vers. Vriendelijke eigenaar, die tijdens het bereiden van je bestelling gezellig een praatje maakt terwijl je staat te wachten bij de afhaal. En tot laat open, haast een unicum in Almere.

Altijd goede sfeer en heerlijk vlees bereid door gastheer Josef. Laagdrempelige atmosfeer. Tip. Spareribs Amoon.
