Gastrobar Q in Wijk 01 Almere Haven

Gambas pil pil, prawns looked more like Dutch shrimp, they were so small. They don't add onions or a lemon slice in Spain. Otherwise, it was a good meal.

Great food, nice atmosphere, the staff got a bit confused but it was a large group order so its understandable.

It's fine, but the staff should know the menu. If a guest asks what the soup of the day is and the weight of a steak, they should know. Furthermore, the quality of the tuna steak was lean; it had thick tendons. The stir-fried shrimp were unfortunately too salty.

Ate here for the first time yesterday. What a hidden gem! The Surf & Turf was so good I ordered the main course twice. 😅

The service was friendly, but the Italian roll was too brittle, almost like rusk. And the sauce reminded me a lot of something like a bottle of Calvé. Not homemade. A homemade roll, so to speak... for which you pay €13.50.

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the "meal salads" weren't really a meal at all. A pitiful little bit of lettuce with some meat on top and four slices of baguette.

This was my first time eating here, and it was delicious. Excellent food; both the appetizer, main course, and dessert were delicious. Good and friendly service, definitely worth a visit.

Very mediocre, we had 2 children's menus for the children. One of which was mini pancakes that were ready-made and heated in the microwave and a very small portion. The service was very young and inexperienced, often wrote down the wrong order. They were attentive though. We had carpaccio as a starter which was served very lukewarm (normally it should be cold). The taste was good though. We had to wait an hour for the main course (it seemed like they had forgotten because a dessert was already offered) and the children's menus came earlier so you weren't eating at the same time. We had also ordered a bread board, but that also only arrived after half an hour. And it was a bread board with 4 small slices of bread for 5.50 (usually you get this for free). With the main course we got 2 large bowls of fries, which you could eat from for a week. A bit exaggerated. The plates on which the main course was served were old and pieces were broken. The pepper sauce was served in a bowl on the plate, which looked very poor. All in all a reasonable meal. But the price-quality ratio is very moderate. Spent 140 euros that we did not find worth it. Too bad, because I think if they paid a little more attention to the whole it could just be good.

Very good food, excellent price, super nice staff and the restaurant itself has a really nice look. When someone asks me for a tip for eating out, I always mention GASTROBAR Q first! And then MEAT in the city ; P

Never a disappointment! Good food, nice presentation and above all top service! Quint and his team still know how it should be. Shared dining optima forma! Even if you only come for a glass of wine with a single dish... just do it!

Al veel vaker hier gegeten en nu ook voor de verjaardag van mijn moeder die 75 werd. Met een groep van 12 man (ook dit al eerder gedaan in augustus met een mannetje of 16 en toen ging het ook niet heel tof. Toen was het een grote chaos, eten wat niet kwam, een uur wachten op een volgende ronde etc.). Maar goed, dat kan een keer gebeuren, dus in december in de herkansing met een groep. Ook nu liep het niet lekker. Gerechten kwamen laat, kwamen niet. Gerechten waren op, personeel had het heel druk. De keuken zou dicht gaan en toen hadden wij nog maar weinig gerechtjes kunnen proeven. Ze wilden toen nog wel snel van alles maken om ons tegemoet te komen, maar dan is het rustige eten er niet meer bij. We hebben allemaal erg weinig gegeten die avond, want aan een 3e ronde kwamen we niet eens. Zo zijn we het niet gewend hier, maar na onze ervaring in augustus en nu dus weer waren we wel een beetje teleurgesteld. Het is niet goedkoop, zeker niet met zo'n grote groep en dan verwacht je toch dat je met een fijn gevoel naar huis gaat, wat wij hier altijd gehad hebben. Helaas zullen wij een volgende keer niet meer voor Gastobar Q kiezen als we met een grote groep zijn. En ik weet ook niet zeker of we er met z'n 2-tjes snel weer naar toe zullen gaan. Iets teveel teleurgesteld de afgelopen keren.

It's been a long time since I ate something so mediocre. It's not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. I would definitely skip the steak tartare and the spare ribs - that really has nothing to do with 'good food'

What a gem in Almere Haven. Super friendly but above all human service. Despite the crowds, they take the time to talk to you personally. The Christmas dinner was fantastic. Definitely worth the price. Just walk in and experience it yourself.

On Sunday, December 1, 16 people ate at Gastrobar Q. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-share dishes. Lots of choice and everything very tasty. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The service was also smooth and pleasant. Our compliments to everyone!

First of all, the food was generally very tasty. Compliments to the kitchen for that. Our coats were accepted upon arrival, which was nice. Once at the table, however, it took a long time before someone came to us to ask if we wanted something to drink and to offer us a menu. Even though it wasn't busy. Unfortunately, there were a number of disappointing points, especially regarding the operation. At the start, one of the plates was dirty, with old food remains, and another plate was partly damaged. In addition, after ordering a wine we were served the wrong wine. This wine was not poured, but only offered in a tasting glass. The bottle was then placed next to us on the sofa, with the alternative being to place it on the floor, which did not seem appropriate to us. Dishes and drinks (including a cocktail) were also taken from the table before we had finished. We think it would be good if managers paid more attention to etiquette and provided better guidance and advice to staff. We certainly don't blame the inexperienced staff, but believe that more attention could be paid to these aspects during the training process. Furthermore, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a lot of potential.

Nice service. The food was very bad. I ordered rip eye. Fries were 1 bong potato. Got a new one and it was way overcooked. Pepper sauce was burnt, the sauce I was served afterwards was just mushroom soup. Portions severely below average. Worst restaurant experience ever.

Everything is fine at Gastrobar Q, although the name Gastrobar raises slightly higher expectations for the dishes on the menu.

Lekker en behoorlijke porties eten van de all you can eat. Bediening niet al te vlot. En erg afwachtend.Eigenaar praat meer met waarschijnlijk vaste gasten ,dan dat hij oplet wat medewerkers doen. Gezellig terras.

For my son's 23rd birthday, I had dinner at gastrobar Q with the whole family. Enjoyed the all you can eat concept with various choices. We had a very good meal and were helped by friendly staff. Thank you for the fantastic evening, we will definitely be back.

Visit on March 18 After we landed at Schiphol we looked for a place to eat along the way. Via Google maps we arrived at Gastrobar Q. The restaurant looks nice and is in a nice location where you can also park for free. Upon arrival, she told them that they had two options: eat a la carte or the shared dining concept (unlimited food) for a fixed amount. The menus are mainly the same. We chose the shared dining option. You were allowed to order two dishes per person per round. You can always order the side dishes. The spicy prawns, oriental tenderloin tips, pulled chicken sandwich, tuna, steak tartare, beef tenderloin tips with honey and thyme, beef ribs, tournedos, Camembert and the apple strudel were all delicious. You paid extra for some dishes such as the tournedos. We had a delicious meal and a wonderful evening! ps. They are open on Mondays

Heerlijk eten! Kwaliteit van het vlees en stukjes vis was goed. Eten is erg smaakvol en word ook nog eens verrassend gepresenteerd. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook hadden wij 1 gast mee die vega was, hier werd echt rekening mee gehouden en ook voor haar was er genoeg keuze. Wij komen zeker weer terug.

Super leuk concept. Is een keer wat anders dan een standaard 3 gangen menu. Het eten is fantastisch en ook de bediening is zeer vriendelijk. De eigenaar kwam zelf nog even gezellig bij ons zitten om te vragen of het naar wens was. Lekker persoonlijk, helemaal top!

Super gezellige tent met een leuke sfeer en een goed concept

Het eten was erg lekker, maar er waren te veel tafels gevuld voor het personeel. Het duurde erg lang voor we eten kregen of voor ze doorhadden dat ons drinken al een tijdje op was. Het eten was prima, maar niet in verhouding met de prijs en de wachttijd.

Lang gewacht op weinig bijzonders. Als ‘gastronomie’ bar verwacht je een bepaalde level service, ervaren personeel en goed eten.. helaas was dit niet zo.

Ik heb er heerlijk gegeten. Vooral de tonijn is een aanrader. Wel behoorlijk aan de prijs allemaal. Met name de spare ribs. 5 ribbetjes voor 15 euro. Vandaar 3 sterren in plaats van 4. De bediening is heel vriendelijk en verstaat haar vak. Een zeer uitnodigende plek om te eten.

Hier moet je zijn voor een top avond! Fijne sfeer, de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. Het eten en drinken is erg goed. Prijs, kwaliteit is prima! Je krijgt echt waar voor je geld. Ik kan deze plek echt aan iedereen aanraden
