This is a lovely place for high tea. We were first served a platter of savory snacks, followed by a platter full of sweet treats. It was very pleasant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had high tea. More than enough and of very good quality. Beautiful view of the Oostvaardersplassen.

There were a lot of people, so it was popular, but also stuffy inside.

We were lucky: a beautiful view of the royal horses. The food: grilled chicken in teriyaki sauce is highly recommended. 👌🏼

The food itself was delicious, and the restaurant also has a beautiful view if you can sit by the window. However, we had to wait almost an hour for our food (a salad and a tarte flambée). We thought we'd been forgotten, as orders taken after us were brought to our table even earlier. Dogs aren't allowed in this area, which we were unfortunately unaware of. The waiter kindly pointed this out to us and said we could stay as an exception. However, we were reminded of the ban on dogs several more times afterward. Paying took some time, so we went up to the counter, but we weren't given any attention. Overall, a somewhat annoying experience.

Good lunch and coffee, fast and friendly service

For my 70th birthday, I booked a high tea for 32 people in a separate room (Zeearend). Everything was perfectly arranged. We started with a reception outside with a Cremant de Loire, followed by high tea inside. Everyone enjoyed it, and I had a wonderful and relaxing birthday celebration.

Great food with a good atmosphere.

Previously I would make a quick stop during my walk to drink a latte, now I was asked to sit down, I said I only wanted to drink something outside, then I have to use the QR code, too bad!

Delicious brie sandwich eaten, but we thought it was a very small sandwich. Location is very nice and the atmosphere and service good.

Delicious high tea! Original dishes that took pregnancy into account, good taste, nice view over the water and very friendly staff! Highly recommended!

It is enjoying the view from the pavilion de Oostvaarders. Enjoying also the nature, the birds, the great numbers, ducks, geese, cattle and last but not least the swallows. The latter have also found a "table setting" by nesting in the pavilion. Another "thing" forgotten, the many binoculars.....

Had lunch last week, but I thought 40 euros for 2 cups of soup, 2 cappuccinos, 1 coffee, 1 tea was quite a lot.

Lovely place for a cup of coffee with delicious cake or a very tasty lunch. Staff very nice! Especially compliments to Anita.

For the first time after the renovation, I visited the Oostvaarders by bike and had a delicious lunch at the pavilion. How beautiful it has become! Will come back soon.

Recently celebrated a family and friends party with a high tea in the beautiful room with a fantastic view of the Oostvaardersplassen. The high tea was of excellent quality. Service by friendly staff, who made sure that everything went smoothly, easily and in a good atmosphere.

Beautiful spot outside on the terrace. Service friendly and helpful. The Panini was tasty but way too expensive for what you get. You have to pay separately for the toppings on the panini, such as onion, tomato and ketchup. This is ridiculous, I actually miss a regular omelet.

We had lunch here. The place itself has become very beautiful. But it took a long time before we were served and the price-quantity of food is also not in proportion. Very expensive for the little you get. Taste was good though.

Beautiful after the renovation/expansion!

I've been coming here for years. The renovation has created a lot of extra places, which is great. It's just that it's very similar, which is a shame. Today it was also busy and with 2 people working there was a bit of a wait. That's not a problem, this is where the goodwill factor comes into play. Precisely because we have been coming here for years. Only we gave up after waiting 30 minutes and left again. There is now a little shop which is nice, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is good.

Good food, nice view. I will note that while what I ordered was a reasonable price, other things might not be. It was busy when I showed up, but it's probably even nicer on a quiet day.

Beautiful location, far view over the lake and the land. Nice viewpoint at the top with information, both inside and outside. Shop. Great coffee :)

We recently celebrated a birthday here with a delicious high tea package, and what a successful party it was! We were allowed to decorate the room ourselves, which made it extra personal (and yes, the streamers hung just right after some tinkering). With the beautiful view, it almost felt like we were on a mini vacation in Almere. A small misunderstanding about the arrangement was resolved quickly and neatly - top service! The staff was incredibly friendly, although we occasionally had to find simple things ourselves, such as a new pot of tea or a cup of coffee. But hey, that immediately gave us a good reason to take a look around this cozy location. The children? They enjoyed all the goodies that were served and were also able to visit the nature experience center. All in all, a very fun and relaxed party at a truly top location. A gem in Almere where we will definitely come back!

First time after renovation. It was pleasantly busy, but plenty of staff. Had a delicious flammkuche with a view of the water. Friendly help.

It is a beautiful renovation of the restaurant. But service is very much below par. We sat at a table for more than fifteen minutes, asked for service a few times, each time with the response in the context of I will be right over, or my colleague. Ended up walking away because I wasn't served. I've never experienced this anywhere. It was quite busy in the restaurant, but apparently the staff cannot cope (yet). Next to us was another table with 2 people who were also not served. If this is the restaurant's outlook, they might as well close.

The website said it was open. After 1.5 cycling we arrived to learn that it was only open to a closed community (that is, the municipality). We were not even allowed to order coffee. Came home from a rude awakening. Very unwelcoming!

Turned out very beautiful. Top spot. Friendly service. We just had a cup of coffee.

Obsessed with the Boterkoek they gave us on the side of our drinks! The food was good, the self-made dipping and ketchup stole the show. It was very gezellig there and we would love to come back every month 😊

The view is phenomenal, the service is sweet and friendly, but they did not come to take the order, then forgot about it and did not come by when we wanted to pay. I will come back again, because the sandwiches were very tasty.

Beautiful pavilion that is currently being expanded and/or renovated. Not a very big restaurant. Fast service and nice service. Due to the work, the walkway was not clean and certainly not safe with several tripping and slipping points due to loose planks. That could really be better. Location very nice also for a shorter walk or a longer bike ride.

Prima plek om te genieten van een hele goede kop koffie en mooi uitzicht . Eten (lunch) is meer dan prima, je krijgt niet super grote porties, maar is precies genoeg. Ook heb je boven het restaurant een natuur informatie centrum met een uitkijkpunt over de Oostvaardersplassen

Ik was er op uitnodiging ja het eten het zag er allemaal lekkere uit het was er heel druk dan is het eten goed niet mijn ding ik had brood met warme beenham bestel de beenham met honing saus was lekker droog brood vind ik niet lekker maar mijn kleinzoon had Jam bestel dus daar heb ik nog wat van gekregen die was wel lekker de koffie was er wel lekker het personeel is vriendelijk en gastvrij ik schrijf altijd zo als ik het zie je kunt er buiten en binnen zitten

Prachtig uitzicht over de plassen en heerlijk gegeten (quiche)

Aanrader! Lekker echt vers gebakken taart en koekjes, relaxed sfeer! We zullen terug komen voor een high tea!

Prima lunch tent om even te zitten, behalve dat je over de polder uitkijkt niets bijzonders. Niet echt op de gasten gericht personeel, verse jus was ‘op’, de jongedame had geen zin om te persen en zat vervolgens het gehele uur aan de bar te hangen. Eten was prima, broodje zalm was lekker warm.

Erg gezellig lekker eten vriendelijk personeel

Paviljoen Oostvaarders is een fantastische plek in Almere. Op het water gebouwd met enorme ramen. Heerlijk om naar buiten te kijken. Één van mijn favoriete plekken in Almere om lekker te lunchen, koffie drinken of een lekker glaasje wijn te drinken met een broodplank met smeersels. Producten zijn van goede kwaliteit en zijn goed van smaak. We komen hier meerdere keren per jaar en het is nog nooit tegengevallen. Bediening is uiterst vriendelijk en klantgericht. Maak ook een mooie wandeling in de buurt. Heerlijk wandelen in de groene omgeving. Ook leuk als je met kinderen bent en even naar boven loopt. Gluren met verrekijkers. Al met al een toplocatie.

Het was in elk opzicht geweldig! Het geld dubbel en dwars waard! De gerechtje zo vers en smaakvol!

Goed en betaalbaar eten en drinken en vriendelijke gastdames

Helaas ging het paviljoen net dicht dus we konden niets nuttigen. Maar wel nog even de trap op, met uitzicht op de plas. Met een aantal verrekijkers waar we gebruik van konden maken, veel platen met vogelafbeeldingen en een kleine expositie. Op een vraag van ons werden we heel leuk te woord gestaan door een medewerkster die er nog was. 😀. Een mooi gebied ook om te wandelen...

Een welkom rustpunt tijdens fietstocht rond de Oostvaardersplassen (50km), heerlijke bakkie koffie e n kom soep. Smaakte heerlijk en heel vriendelijk personeel. Mooi uitzichtpunt!

Amazing place to have a meal and watch the wildlife

Leuke locatie. Reserveren kan alleen een dag vantevoren met een high tea. Quiche is een aanrader. 👌

Het paviljoen is goed bereikbaar via de hoge ring, zeker nu er via een rotonde een goede afrit mogelijk is geworden. Er is een ruime parkeergelegenheid. Twee rolstoel plekken vooraan. Echter.. Het blijft een flinke tippel naar het paviljoen. Bij de kassa werd mij verteld dat het mogelijk is om bij de slagboom even te bellen via je gsm en dan openen ze de slagboom, zodat iedereen er toch kan komen. De muntthee was lekker, verder niets genuttigd.

Vorige uitbater was beter. Die had heerlijke patat waar we voor om reden.

Ik vond het tegenvallen en druk

Alleen al voor het uitzicht, over de Oostvaardersplassen, is dit prettige restaurant een bezoek waard. Vega(n) vriendelijke kaart met smakelijke gerechten. Super bediening. Boven, ook per lift bereikbaar, kun je nog beter over de plassen kijken.

Fijne plek met mooi uitzicht tijdens de high tea. Klein minpuntje zijn de kozijnen aan de buitenkant die wat liefde kunnen gebruiken om zo duurzaam te blijven.
