I paid 160 euros for my birthday on August 3rd, but the door was closed... I didn't receive an email, tried calling for 45 minutes, but nothing. Even now, I can't get through by phone or email. I'm afraid I won't get my money back. I'll give it a few more days, then I'll have to file a police report, hoping I can still get my money back. It's an unprofessional business. I've read that I'm not the only one. I wish you bankruptcy.

Booked and paid for sim racing on July 28th. Last night, I was met with a closed door! It's ridiculous that the booking system still takes money...and the customer doesn't see a thing!

We also booked on July 26th and paid for July 31st, only to be met with a closed door. It's very frustrating for the owners that your tent is in such a bad state, and you undoubtedly have a lot on your mind, but I do find it appalling that you're still collecting money while knowing that everyone who makes a reservation will lose it.

Scammers. We booked 10 people, and upon arrival, the tent was closed. They were impossible to reach by phone, and the company didn't respond to any further inquiries.

Paid and reserved online. When you arrive, they're closed. There must be more going on here... bankruptcy? Don't pay online anymore!

One star is actually too much. We had a reservation yesterday, but when we arrived at our reservation time, the place was already closed. We knocked on the door several times and called the number, but there was no answer.

Made a reservation on August 1st for an hour of shuffling. We arrived on time, but everything was closed! After waiting for over half an hour, several unsuccessful phone calls, emails, and walking around the building, we left. Very strange and a shame about our outing. Furthermore, no response to my emails and no refund for our reservation. What a shame!

Last week, we booked multiple activities for four people today. Upon arrival, we found the door locked and no one was there. The activity had already been paid for. Multiple attempts to contact us by email or phone were unsuccessful. No one responded. What scammers! DO NOT BOOK ANY MORE ACTIVITIES WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

They were supposed to open at 12:30. We made a reservation for 5:00 PM, but we had to be there fifteen minutes beforehand. The lights were on, but no one was there. We couldn't reach them by phone either. No cancellation email for the reservation. Terrible place, lost our money.

I arrived at The Boules Club with a reservation, only to find it was completely closed. There was no communication whatsoever about it being closed. There was also a gardener outside, who was supposed to receive a large sum of money.

Very disappointing, a lack of clear communication and lack of adherence to agreements. I have no idea how a commercial company can stay afloat like this. Despite numerous efforts, I haven't been able to arrange a company outing at The Boules Club Breda in recent weeks. A reservation was made by phone for just the pétanque courts (which wasn't what I wanted), and I received confirmation by email. I repeatedly indicated beforehand and afterward, both by phone, email, and during a physical visit, that we were looking for pétanque, games, food, and drinks. A complete package for a fun department outing. I was supposed to receive a call back about this, but it didn't happen. I was supposed to receive a quote, which I still haven't received after three weeks. No response (several reminders were sent with requests). It might have been a fun evening, but this way of doing business is truly disappointing. We're looking for something else...

What a mess. We made a reservation for six people. Upon arrival, the door was locked, no one answered the phone, and the place seemed completely empty. All the lights were on, and it looked open. But the door was LOCKED. We had already paid for our reservation online and paid for the parking garage. But no one opened the door or helped us. We went home, deeply disappointed.

The Boules Club is a unique but super cozy place in Breda for a fun day. With a wide range of games and activities such as the shuffleboard tables or sim racing, there is something for everyone. The staff is friendly and often comes by the table to ask if everything is still okay and everything was very clean when we arrived. Definitely recommended for someone who is looking for something to do or for a group outing!

We had our International meeting there, Nice bar, and we really had fun playing "jeu de boules."

A disappointing evening at the grill restaurant We were all really looking forward to this evening. One of our friends is having a bachelor party, and to celebrate we had reserved a table at a grill restaurant that we had heard good things about. Unfortunately, the disappointment started quite soon after arriving. After placing our drinks, it took a full fifteen minutes before anything was even put on the table. And that while the restaurant was not even full. It was the first of a series of frustrations that would characterize this evening. Before we even saw a sandwich or an appetizer, all kinds of sauces were put on the table. It may not sound bad, but they then stood there for an hour, untouched, without anything being served with them. By the time the food finally arrived, the sauces were lukewarm and dried out. And then came the ‘highlight’: our meat and vegetables were put on the table… while the grill was not even on yet. We were sitting with raw pieces of meat in front of us, without any explanation or guidance. We had to figure out how and what for ourselves, and in the meantime we just sat there, looking around uncomfortably. Not a single employee looked at us or explained what was going on. In fact, no one seemed to show even a hint of enthusiasm. The staff looked sullen, and a simple smile seemed too much to ask. The portions we received were also anything but generous. Without the unlimited fries (which were also slow to arrive), we would probably have had to go home hungry. The beer – for many the element of a successful evening – was also served warm. As if it had just been waiting in the kitchen somewhere for someone to think of it. We wanted to have a nice, relaxed evening for our friend. Just laugh, eat, drink, enjoy each other's company. Instead, we were mainly annoyed. The atmosphere was nowhere to be found, and to be honest, we felt more embarrassed than welcome. In short: this grill restaurant did everything it could to turn a nice occasion into a mediocre, uncomfortable experience. We will not be coming back here

Nice place, many possibilities besides the jeu de boules; Sjoelen, sim-racing, shuffleboard you name it! The organization is attentive and explains everything well! Definitely go there with a group of people!

Great experience at The Boules Club Breda! We had booked a job for 60 minutes, but after about half an hour my hand started to hurt. What I really liked was how the staff immediately thought along with us. They suggested that we do something else, such as play darts, so that we could continue to enjoy the evening. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is incredibly friendly and really helpful. That really makes the difference for me: you feel heard and welcome here. Everything was well arranged and solutions were found without any problem. In short: a super fun place to do something active together, with a team that goes the extra mile to make your evening a success. Definitely recommended, we will definitely come back!

Nice concept to play indoor jeu de boules! Extremely nice staff.

This should have been a fun outing with the children and supporters, but it was so disappointing! Booked an hour of boules and then gourmet... what a grumpy and uninterested staff! The food was also very mediocre and little... we were informed in advance that 1 person was vegetarian, but they had forgotten that... the price/quality ratio is hard to find... never again! Highly recommended!! Don't do it, find something else!!!

We had booked an hour, but were told 10 minutes in advance that the time was almost up. Not a problem in itself, but less than a minute later the next group was already waiting and they started clearing our table while I still had a drink. And my grandmother's bag was on the table while she sprayed cleaning solution on it. And all this within our jeu de boule time. We were constantly rushed even while leaving on time. My grandfather and grandmother are 80+, so she already felt very stressed. In addition, I was also wrongly told that I had not paid. Not a welcoming experience at all.

That was a disappointment. Atmosphere is quite okay and jeu de boules is fun to play, but the food was not good and not enough. When making a reservation, we indicated that we would come with 6 to 8 people, but there was only meat for 6 people, so there is no more in the house. Foreign. The quality of the meat was not good either, steak was nice, we skipped the hamburger and above all everything was very salty! Price-quality was therefore not in balance. We enjoyed ourselves, yes, so that's why 2 stars but no repeat for us.

Inside it smelled terribly of food. Poor extraction. Recognizability of the balls is difficult to read. Lots of noise.

Booked the jeu de boules + antipasti package with a group of friends. Very expensive for what we got. Received a discount afterwards. Atmospheric, unpleasant, messy space, no music, stinks of gourmet air and not enough staff. The jeu de boules court is dramatic, far too short and has a mushy surface that prevents the balls from rolling. In short, skip it, Breda has more fun to offer

Went to play petanque with friends. Nice place! We did not have food here only drinks. Nice staff and lot of other games available to play as well.

Arrangement makes no sense. BorrelXL is BorrelXXS.. 40eu pp and when you get there you are told that you get 3 bitterballen per person. Unlimited drinks, but they only come once every half hour and then you have to wait 10-15 minutes before you get your drink, so you don't get your money out of it. Ultimately, after repeated indignant reactions, they proposed to pay for everything separately instead of the package, hence the 2 stars instead of 1.

The game of jeu de boules is very old, but it is very fun to play with a group of friends. How fanatical can you become? Cozy atmosphere, good service and tasty bites. Recommended for a slightly different outing with friends or family.

Went to Boules and Bites on a company outing. We had a package for 50 euros. The website states that delicious snacks are served and unlimited drinks. The service was slow and there were only a few bitterballen per person. Very expensive for what you get."

Did the Boules & Food package here with a group of colleagues. The concept itself is fun: an active outing with a meal. However, it was bizarrely warm inside, so we quickly finished playing pétanque. The food was brought in rounds, but was far too little for the number of people. In addition, it was more like snacks than a real dinner. You pay €50 per person for this, very expensive. In addition, a mouse walked in.

Finished the work this week, fortunately we were able to make it fun ourselves because the company did everything it could to make it as unpleasant as possible. We had booked the Boules and bites package. It was 30 degrees outside and inside because there was no air conditioning on and the background music even turned off after 10 minutes. We always got our own drinks at the bar (we came twice in those two hours to ask if we wanted something to drink) and the bites were 1 frozen mini snack per person (after 1.5 hours it finally arrived) and that while it was on on the site and also in this video, entire drinks boards will appear if you look up this arrangement. So I really don't recommend doing this

Surprisingly fun! The jeu de boules court we had was the least since the plastic grids underneath were always visible and caused the balls to change direction, but it was still a nice concept with a drink and a snack.

Like, everywhere, with too few staff But everyone did their best. It was a very nice, pleasant evening.

Tip of the Day: Manager take a month off. Benefits the atmosphere in the business. For both staff and guests.

Closes at 10:30 PM, we knew that too. Beers had to be finished and as quickly as possible.

Bad service especially from mego

We played Boules here yesterday with a few colleagues. It was great fun. The sand is a bit stony and not even. Maybe time to change this. Overall it was a fun experience! Drinks and Nachos were fine 🙏

The service was not really active. chatting with each other at the bar and not paying close attention to what is happening in the shop. limited nibble menu. This can really be achieved with the right efforts from management. nice concept but not yet mature.

Been here for the first and last time. The service is so bad, grumpy employees and quite arrogant. We ordered snacks and this was just a shame, there were 4 of us and we got 1 snack per person. Ridiculous.. and with the arrangement for the drinks they are expressly slow so that you still pay too much.

Got off to a bit of a slow start

Great opportunity to be together. Had fun playing and eating jeu de boule with the family. Very attentive and friendly staff.

What a worthless, atmosphereless ball joint! What should have been a nice surprise party ended up as a big disappointment. Stone and bone cold, impossible even with the jackets on, and hardly any service. A hospitable welcome at first, but that's where it ended. We had to order drinks at the bar ourselves, the toilet had not been cleaned for weeks judging by the smell, the disabled toilet was blocked and therefore unusable, and we had to sort it out ourselves on the jeu de boules court. Zero explanation. Free track rental to compensate for the 'failed heater'. But when we finished bouncing at 6 p.m. we were told that the place closed at 7 p.m.! While we had made a reservation to eat!! With 12 people, 2 menus and a waitress who stood disinterestedly hanging at the table instead of getting extra menus. And what do you mean menu? Even a cafeteria serves more creative dishes than this menu offers. What we particularly disliked was that there was no gluten-free dinner for one of the guests, even though we had explicitly asked for it and had called twice about it. The gluten-free pan had already been used for something else! How bad can you take care of your customers!! We chose our money's worth and fled to a place where we felt welcome. And where the stove is happily burning! Never again Boules and Bites Breda!!

Lang wachten op je bestelling en de bediening niet alte vriendelijk maar goed wel een leuk concept

Geweldig leuke plaats om met je besties een leuke zondagmiddag door te brengen.

Ambiance is leuk. Het concept is goed. Service was redelijk, al moesten we af en toe lang wachten op bediening en ook meerdere keren vragen. Qua eten is het ok, maar de porties zijn karig. Die mogen wat mij betreft wel wat royaler. Toch zeker voor de prijs waarvoor het aangeboden wordt. Naast het Jeux des boules zijn er andere spellen die je kan doen. Parkeergarage op 20 meter afstand dus dat is ideaal. Vrolijk personeel (op een enkele na).

Amazing service. Had so much fun here. There are multiple lanes to play Boules, but there are also a lot of bord and card games available and there is a big chess board on the floor and a 'sjoelbord' (typical dutch game). Many fun things to do and great atmosphere! We played 2 hours of Boules and stayed an extra hour to play sjoelen.

Eten was echt niet best. Alles is gewoon opgewarmd en helemaal niks huisgemaakt. Friet was ook slecht. Tent is te groot om gezellig te zijn en het was er bovendien koud.

Super lokatie met vrienden, familie of zelfs alles bedrijfsuitje/teamdag! De ‘Bites’ zijn goed, warme en koude bites zijn mogelijk en vegetarisch is ook geen probleem voor de liefhebber

We hebben hier een personeelsuitje gehad. Jeu de boules was leuk, maar een uitleg was er niet. Daarnaast waren er heel veel andere spellen zoals sjoelen maar ook kaart- en bordspelen. Super gezellig! Er werden ons gewone hapjes geserveerd, eenvoudig maar prima. Service was niet zo goed. Ze waren drukker met elkaar dan dat ze oog voor de klant hadden.

Heel leuke bezigheid midden in Breda. Mooie jeu de boules baan gehuurd, lekkere hapjes (muv de frikadelletjes) en goede bediening.

Een leuke attractie binnen Breda boules banen en lekker hapjes eten en volop keuze in drank. Wij hebben heerlijk een uurtje gespeeld en lekker wat gedronken jammer dat er snacks niet helemaal gaar waren. Een leuke invulling van de middag of avond.

Leuk om met vrienden hier een spelletje te doen.

We hebben heerlijk een spelletje jeu de boules gespeeld. De meneer was heel aardig en wilde ons het graag het spelletje even uitleggen.

Kan allemaal wat gezelliger. Het was leeg en sfeerloos, petanque was er door dat je het huurt, de rest is dan niet in orde. Darts niet compleet, tafeltennis tafel is de dwerg uitvoering. Eten is helemaal geweldig, maar daarentegen de drank is dan weer magertjes. Bijna niks op de tap en wat er was, is vooral brand en niet zo lekker. Maar dat mocht allemaal de sfeer niet drukken, het was gezellig en het personeel zeer behulpzaam, dat is belangrijk

Super gezellig avond gehad. Sfeer van de ruimte is goed. Service was uitstekend. En eten was boven verwachting goed. Wij hadden een arrangement geboekt dus verwachtte van het eten niet al teveel. Maar dit was dus voor de prijs uitstekend.

Prima locatie voor spel en eten. Ging wel met het Glutenvrij eten mis maar deze vergissing werd gecorrigeerd. Dus wel opletten als je Glutenvrij eten besteld.
