Zeker de moeite waard! Lekker twaalfuurtje gegeten! Dat is soep, kroket en boterham met eiersalade . Echt gezellig ook onder de bomen op het terras!

Bestelde Hertog Jan 0.0 bier. Op de kaart staat 33 cl maar de inhoud van de flesjes is 30 cl. Dus je wordt bedonderd. Wel doorgeven aan een personeelslid die het zal doorgeven en bood zijn excuses aan. Zal het in de gaten houden en bij niet aanpassen zal ik dit verder gaan publiceren.

BREDA, The Grote Markt in Breda, a few plane trees. With 25 degrees and the older buildings, almost a French feeling. Plenty of terraces but a bit of sun is nice. SamSam sounds a lot more affordable. The staff is easy to deal with and the young man who helped us doesn't have his eyes in his pockets. With a sharp eye he scans the tables. That's a Horeca.

As the name suggests, so so, service can be good if there's less crowds. Food is zeezicht kitchen.

Went on Sunday morning with 2 people. We received a friendly welcome and had a drink with a cake. Because we still had some time before our participation in Wings For Life World Run, we played another game of Scrabble. Nice that this is possible!

I was there on Saturday and the staff clearly had no idea about it. We ordered pints (0.50cl) and were charged for two small beers, which ended up costing €24 — much more expensive than it should be for what we got. We were overcharged for no reason. Bad service and no transparency about prices at all.

We celebrated Easter Sunday here with a family of four (mother and 3 young adult daughters) and we really enjoyed it! When we entered and saw that there was not only a games cabinet but also our favorite board game in between, we were immediately excited, even before we had ordered our first drink. The playlist of lounge music with a mix of classic jazz hits certainly contributed to the cozy and easy going vibe! In addition, you get value for money because we each ordered something different, but we all received a well-filled plate and enjoyed the creative recipes presented by friendly and patient service. All in all a successful afternoon!

Today I went to drink some beers and they charged me €24 for 2 pints. Instead of charging me for 2 pints, they charged me for 4 25cl beers but I didn't drink them individually 😒. I have never paid so much for a beer in my life and I don't think the service or the place is worth it.

Ik had een club sandwich besteld omdat deze altijd zo geweldig waren . Dit was zo beneden peil veel brood , weinig inhoud en zeer weinig smaak . Ingrediënten voor een clubsandwich waren ver te zoeken. Vroeger ging ik speciaal voor de club sandwich, maakte hem ik de COVID tijd zelfs thuis na . Nu gaf ik dit aan en vroeg aan de ober of hij al doorgegeven had aan de keuken dat ik niet tevreden was . Had het nog niet doorgegeven omdat het geen prioriteit had. Niet aan te raden hier .

Lekkere lunch op het terras bij SamSam. We hebben genoten van heerlijke bruine boterhammen met kroket en mosterd. Personeel was erg vriendelijk.

We were here with a group of 10 people, the service handled this well. It also went fairly smoothly and they were very friendly. We found it very cozy inside and the music was nice for everyone. We can especially recommend the (vegan) banana cake!

One day I was walking on the main market, when I suddenly saw a very nice place and I thought, I would like to have a delicious pilsemane there. I sat with a friend in the cozy spot under the canopy, but it was extremely cold, despite the fact that there were heaters. After being ignored by the employees for 25 minutes, I was about to go in and order at the bar. Exactly at that moment an employee came to us and we both ordered a delicious tripel, which brought us some warmth in the icy cold and was also the only plus point to our experience on this terrace. Unfortunately, the wait was not over yet because when we wanted to pay we were ignored for another 15 minutes. This was the last (beer) drop for us, so we decided to go inside to pay. Inside we had to wait another 10 minutes before we were helped at the bar. I heard from a friend that the nachos are not tasty either.

The cafe was difficult from the moment you entered. We were with a group of 20 people. People came and went. We decided that people would get their own drinks and pay for them. This was not possible because they are not a café, the response was serious. They can only order per table or group. What poor service and customer unfriendly. We should have left immediately...

A beautiful sunny day in Breda. Lots of people on the terrace where we luckily saw a table. Unfortunately, the tables (including ours) on the terrace were not cleaned. We feared the worst, but fortunately the waiter was attentive, he kept a good overview so that nothing missed him and he served us quickly despite the crowds. The food was fine, the spicy chicken salad was large and delicious.

I was employed for head chef, after a week of realising they only employed freelances as they couldn't keep any staff and also didn't pay the freelances after their work I left I a m still waiting for my payment, but will also warn anyone eating there how dirty the kitchen is and how jelles staff turn over is so high because he refuses to pay or clean. Horrible business wouldn't never eat there, plenty more place on the markt to eat but would also avoid samsam, they use zeezicht kitchen.

If you have an allergy, I definitely recommend eating here. Treat it very respectfully. Someone from the kitchen even came to explain to me how it was nut-free. Highly recommended

Sat on the terrace. Dirty tables, not looked at or cleaned. Orders take a very long time. Lukewarm beer on tap. Cheese fingers have been in the fryer too long. Wanting to be in the catering industry, but not wanting to do catering.

An incredible place. A girl called Michele served us in Spanish, helping us at all times and being very helpful at the table where I was. She helped and guided us at all times and was attentive to anything we wanted to order. Highly recommended place and 10/10 for its employees 😊.

Excellent coffee restaurant and very welcoming but small downside of 30 min wait to eat your dish

the food is tasty but it takes a long time for someone to come to you, and when the food was brought they said that this was enough calories for the whole day, which I really don't think is normal if you just want a nice snack to eat. We hadn't eaten anything yet that day and just wanted to have a nice drink, I don't think this comment is appropriate and it gave us a bad feeling about the food. You don't say this to 2 young ladies!

I never actually post reviews, but we were really disappointed with this tent. Food is mediocre and service downright bad.

I couldn't order bitterballen after 11 o'clock

Disappointing. I almost never write a review, but this one was so disappointing that I hope they do something with the criticism. We wanted to end a pleasant afternoon in Breda at SamSam. It was 7:30 PM. We ordered 1 carpaccio, 2 burgers and a spicy chicken salad. After 30 minutes the "waiter" comes to announce that the salad cannot be ordered, because it is a lunch dish. Why does the menu say that it can be ordered until 10 p.m. on Thu-Sat? Then the stewed beef. Oh yes, the carpaccio sandwich cannot be ordered either. What do you mean carpaccio sandwich? We just want the carpaccio starter. 20 minutes later: Sorry, but there is no more braised beef. Then ordered the chicken satay. After almost 1 hour and 20 minutes of no food, we walked to the bar and asked where the food was. Answer: It was on its way. We actually wanted to leave, but decided to wait until 9 p.m. And yes, at 8:58 PM the food was delivered with: cold fries! After a complaint about this, a bowl of hot fries was delivered fairly quickly. Conclusion: Food: Burgers were not hot but tasted good. Chicken satay and carpaccio was good. Fries were cold. Service: Inexperienced and understaffed. And sorry waiter with a Belgian accent: Please find something else that you enjoy and radiate. At checkout, the most experienced staff member apologized, but hey, that doesn't buy much.

After being there we observed how a blonde man with glasses who was at the bar was teaching us in a very bad and aggressive manner. a young man who was starting his first day of work there, when the young man was leaving for the terrace he began to speak badly about him with another customer who was at the bar, that generated such indignation in me that I asked for the bill to leave, when we asked him The bill to that boy (blonde with glasses) was brought to me in a bad manner, almost forcing me to pay the full bill when I had told him that it was a separate account... Always cosy. Good food. I had the Italian roll with goat cheese. Very tasty and looked beautiful.

Nice pub, with a cozy sitting area at the back with a sofa to relax on. Furthermore, it is quite full, but that makes it fun. Ideal for having a drink at the end of the afternoon, or to hang out on the terrace all day with something tasty.

Do not trust them! They forgot your order. They say the kitchen is shared with another restaurant. So it’s too busy. But they serve other people came after you. So, do not trust them and track your order, if you are in love to eat and drink here.

Well, how annoying, the bartender on March 22, 2024 was so customer unfriendly that we immediately left. This is very unusual in Brabant and certainly in Breda.

Italian roll with goat cheese was good. Hybrid burger was bad. Burnt bun, burnt burger. Too soft inside. I said something about it, but didn't get to it.

Continuing the tour for the specialty beer game, we ended up at Sam Sam as the 2nd nicely decorated store, very warm, but hey, you always have something to complain about, we were helped by Anastasia, a nice lady, we continue our adventure to cafe 3

Upon entering, a good impression, nicely decorated place and two tasty beers. We ordered a small starter to share at 7.15 pm. At 8:00 PM we still hadn't received anything. We reported this twice to a staff member. She seemed very nervous and said at 8:15 PM that she was surprised that we had not received anything yet, while it seems logical to me that you should know that since you yourself have not delivered anything to us. She doubtfully said it was another 10 minutes/15 minutes. In the end it was now 1.5 hours later and we were done. When paying, the staff first chatted to a friend for 2 minutes before we could pay. No sorry, no explanation. No drink on the house. Nothing. Not to be repeated!!

Pas na 20 minuten werden we bediend. Na 40 minuten kregen we pas onze drankjes, die in vieze glazen uitgegoten waren. ECHT geen aanrader.

Super friendly service. We had some bread with different spreads, it was an appetizer. Also tried some local beer, it was a fruity blond, which was great. Overall great experience.

Had some lunch. Received a dirty fork. I didn't think the bouncer I had was anything special. In addition, it took half an hour, although this was clearly indicated. All the food also seemed to come from an adjacent tent with a sea view or something. In addition, a chaotic impression. Not a second time for me unfortunately

'Vers' water met schimmelplekjes op de bodem (binnenkant) van het flesje. Bediening die dit ontkent waar je bijzit. Stukjes van de buitenkant van het ei zat helaas ook door de club sandwich.. Uiteindelijk besefte de bediening dat dit niet oké was, hun oplossing was om de 2 koffie van de rekening af te halen. Ondanks dat, helaas geen volgend bezoek van ons.

Ik had eigenlijk medelijden met de 2 personen die aan het werk waren. Terras zat helemaal vol, super mooi weer voorspeld en dan toch maar met z'n 2e staan. Voor hun chapeau! Duurde helaas dus wel lang voordat we iets te drinken hadden, de nacho's waren er sneller dan de drankjes. Deze kwamen van de tent ernaast.

Ontzettend leuk dat ze teckelwandelingen organiseren. Was een topdag!

Speciaalbier is hier wel heel duur geworden. Gemiddeld 7,50 voor een speciaalbiertje, ik begrijp dat alles duurder is geworden, maar bij bijvoorbeeld Dok en andere cafes zijn de prijzer toch wel iets lager.

Op zaterdagmiddag getracht te lunchen. Serveerster op het terras was zeer druk op een gedeelte van het terras. Wij werden volledig genegeerd en tijdens het bestellen duurde het te lang naar haar zin. Ze zei: ik kom zo terug. Na 14 minuten was ze daar….incompetent en ook nog een grote mond toen ik haar vroeg naar de reden. Snel drank afgerekend en weggegaan. Bij de buren (Zeezicht) eveneens druk maar netjes geholpen en heerlijk gegeten. Sam sam nooit meer.

Nog nooit zo slecht gegeten en dan ook nog onvriendelijk geholpen . Tomatensoep was echt niet te doen gewoon tomatenblokjes met water geen smaak brood erbij gevraagd oud

Waardeloos. Club kip sandwich zijn plakjes kipfilet uit een pakje en geen gerookte kip stukjes . Club geitenkaas is een dun laagje geitenkaas waar de boterham mee ingesmeerd is alsof het een dun laagje boter is . Waardeloze bediening. Absoluut niet klantvriendelijk. kregen een flesje cola over ons heen. Over een witte blouse en mijn broek. Nou er kon amper excuses vanaf. En komt ze aan zetten met een stukje papier om het van de kleding af te doen. de ober wilde ons niet tegen moet komen en vond dat we niet moeten zeuren. gratis drankje was op zijn plaats geweest. Vond hij niet nodig. was maar Cola. En als het ons niet beviel moesten we maar niet meer terug komen. Echt onbeschoft dit. Personeel dus zwaar onder peil en eten ook. Advies. Ga hier niet zitten. zou een stukje verderop gaan zitten daar weten ze wel wat klantvriendelijkheid is

Een gezellige sam sam grote mark breda een goede bediening gastvrij

Goed broodje gezond met een heerlijk biertje. Het biertje kwam uit de ‘grabbelton’ en hierdoor was het biertje een echte verrassing. Hij was ook nog eens voordelig!

Heerlijk gegeten. Aardig personeel en chille sfeer om even te gaan zitten. Achteraf kwam ik er middels een seintje vanuit SamSam achter dat mijn portemonnee daar was achtergebleven. Deze is gratis naar mij opgestuurd naar de andere kant van Nederland. Bonuspunten... 😉

Leuk cafe met een woonkamer sfeer. Ze hebben ook een aantal alcoholvrije speciaalbieren, speciaal voor als je met de auto bent.

Gisteren tijdens een dagje Breda de dag afgesloten met Café SamSam. Dit was zeker een heel goede keuze uit de vele gelegenheden waar je daar op het plein iets kan eten. Gezellig, vriendelijke bediening, veel keuze van diverse bieren en schappelijke prijzen. Om te eten is er een beperkte keuze, maar wat er is, zag er heel goed uit. Wij namen allebei de kaasfondue. Die was super!! Een aantal warme, geroosterde groenten (champignons, courgette, rode paprika en aubergine) en 3 sneetjes brood en dan een kaasfondue die niet zwaar op de maag licht. Dit is voor ons een adresje om bij een volgend bezoek aan Breda terug te gaan.

Ruim een uur aan het wachten op ons eten. Eindstand: geen eten. Er ging iets kapot in de keuken. Op zich is dat geen probleem maar wel als dat betekend dat je nog een uur moet wachten op je eten. We hebben er wel wat gedronken. Na het annuleren van ons eten hebben we daar natuurlijk gewoon voor moeten betalen, maar wel €0.20 te veel. Normaal geen zeikerd, maar dit is was gewoon niet de vibe.
