The service was truly terrible. We were laughed at because we wanted a cappuccino with oat milk. And texting on the phone was more important than serving guests.

Unfortunately, a negative review. Upon entering, we were not exactly greeted warmly by a male employee; he even seemed a bit grumpy. After being shown to our table and indicating that we wanted to have lunch, we had to wait quite a long time before our drink order was taken. After receiving our drinks, we had to ask for the menu ourselves and sat waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order (it wasn't very busy, by the way, and staff walked past our table several times); by then, our drinks were finished, no one had come by yet, and we just got up. When paying, the same employee asked if we decided not to have lunch after all, and I explained that it was taking a very long time before we could order food and that we weren't exactly being received very warmly. His response was, "Oh, sorry, it's a shame it turned out this way." We went elsewhere for lunch.

Reservation: Me: "Can I make a reservation with you for...?" Employee impatient: "I can't hear a word of it." Me: "Oh sorry, I'm taking you off speakerphone. Can I make a reservation for 4 people and a dog?" Employee indignant: "And that dog sits at the table?" Me: "Well, if you have a table that is quiet for the dog..." Employee irritated: "I can't promise that." Me: "If you can add a note, I would really appreciate it." We went anyway, despite some hesitation, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A large group of loud students sat down next to us and ordered later; they ate earlier, and we waited a long time for the food with two small children. Food: the seafood platter was so disappointing; the most expensive dish was a block of fish surrounded by small potatoes (very basic and tasteless). We never received our last drink. We were done with it and paid way too much for what it is: a basic eatery.

Honestly, I don't really understand how a place like this can still stand. Disappointment after disappointment, time after time; by now, that is the only consistent factor you can rely on. One time you wait fifteen minutes, the next day 35-40 minutes for a run-of-the-mill, simple chicken satay. Calling it run-of-the-mill and simple is more than it deserves. I chose this as a safe bet, but unfortunately, even this is too bad. Dry, tough chicken, sickly sweet yet intensely salty satay sauce, sparse presentation, uninterested, half-hearted service; by now, they must be fed up with having to serve that rubbish and deal with the constant grumpiness of guests. I get that, too, but you just have to put on an act, because right now it is truly an accumulation of misery of the highest order. My wife and daughter, who enjoy vegetarian food, couldn't exactly choose anything to their heart's content that made them happy either. I am 76, but even for me, this menu is too old-fashioned! In any other healthy market with a minimum of healthy competition, this place would have been declared bankrupt long ago. But now it is a miserable carcass that is only half-hanging by the golf course. As a result, you can never again have a fun (and tasty) experience at the Brasserie – a real shame!

They had hired a new chef around September or so, and this was a guy who actually took our requests seriously and who went above and beyond to accommodate some of our allergies or dietary restrictions. He came to our table to inquire with us and was a great and pleasant host (which the perennially grumpy front of house could learn a thing or two from!). I’m not vegetarian or vegan myself, but some of my colleagues are, either for religious or health related reasons. For a brief while, as a group we actually got food that looked, smelled and tasted good. No wilted lettuce, no stinky old tuna, mealy tomatoes or questionable looking meat. So hence my positive review here below. But for some reason that’s beyond me, this place has an inclination to remain below average or any other standard minimum threshold and must therefore cut off anything or anyone that brings in positive energy and progress. For the life of me and my colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to tell you why that guy had to be sacked, because he actually seemed to be dragging this place out the inconsolable point it has now returned back to. It’s because of a lack of other dinings in the area that we ended up here a few times again, but it seems that that won’t happen again anytime soon. What a sad sad place!! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We come to have lunch meetings here with our office team often. More than not, not always happy or pleased with the quality. However, last Wednesday we were pleasantly surprised. Even though we didn’t get nearly half of the arrangement we had agreed upon, and there wasn’t taken care of some of our vegan colleagues, the chef went above and beyond to accommodate us. The lunch was really good, tasty, and visually stunning. Service told us that they had a new chef running the kitchen, so looking forward to our next lunches here. It’s been below par the past while, but on behalf of our team we’d like to give the golf club some words of encouragement: keep it up!

Went here with my family for Father's Day. Reserved for 4 people and a table for 4 at 7:00 PM. When we arrived, we were told that everything was actually sold out 😮 and that they wanted to call us this afternoon but hadn't gotten around to it. So there you are with 2 hungry teenagers. Honestly, I gave them another chance, but this was beyond words. I will never eat there again.

Worthless. The waitstaff just stand around chatting with each other. After 10 minutes, no one still wanted to take our order. Never mind...

Had a lovely lunch outside this time in the warm weather.

I ate spareribs because they have a sparerib deal. I had the spicy ones, but there was nothing spicy about them. The ribs were bad, and so was the taste. I had to wait a long time, and when I finally got them, there was very little of it. In short, a bad experience, and that is a shame. I also reported it to Ter Lekke, but they didn't do anything about it.

Very nice and cosy place, with poor service, long waiting time, nice staff but just nice and polite not doing their job. Food is below minimum expectations, hamburger dry, meat burned. Wine on glasses disgusting. Bitterballen are excellent but they are same everywhere in the Netherlands (always frozen) so you get what you expect. I think it’s a pitty that such a beautiful golf course doesn’t have restaurant that it deserves. Already 30 minutes waiting for the bill …

Nice location, and the food was good. Unfortunately, we were served cold soup and not really much sauce (also no mustard with the croquettes or anything similar). It was very loud in the building and difficult to understand each other.

Well, it left me indifferent. Everything was mediocre.

Just had dinner at Brasserie 10. And what a disappointing experience. It was reasonably quiet upon arrival, but despite that, it was difficult to connect with the staff. We ordered 4 main courses around 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, it turned out that several dishes were already sold out. To the disappointment of my dining companion, who was only told after ordering that he had to make a different choice because his dish was also sold out. The dishes were truly substandard: Rib eye was initially rare and really, really too much fat in it (and yes, Rib Eye is supposed to be fatty, I know that). When we pointed this out, they acted well and we immediately received a new one, which was actually good. Other dishes were also substandard. Pasta with cheese was really simpler than a pasta dish you make at home; the presentation was also extremely disappointing. Salad with chicken and shrimp was soggy due to the warm vegetables in it; the taste was fine, but the soggy lettuce leaves were a shame. Red wine in small wine glasses and rosé in a large wine glass didn't add up either, but that is a minor detail. In short, there is really a lot, a lot of room for improvement. There is much to gain in terms of service, atmosphere, and certainly the quality of food and drinks.

We ate here as part of a group tour. It was delicious. They handled our large group really well and our drinks and food came promptly. I had the carpaccio, which was very fresh and delicious. I also ate the chicken satay which was a little dry but still tasty. And the fries were the best I've had during my week in The Netherlands. Thank you for a wonderful final evening in your beautiful country.

Christmas dinner was disappointing. A4 folded in half with name to indicate which table was reserved. Menu wasn't bad, but there was nothing special for the vegetarian menu (other than....yes, risotto with way too much oil). The menu for the different courses was not on the menu and we had to ask for it. The wine was therefore not proactively offered with accompanying details. Twice the next course was served before clearing up. The amount of meat in the main course varied enormously. In short, the taste of the food was good, but the ambiance was not what you would expect for this price

2026: This time, a salad with beetroot and goat cheese. What a disappointment! Dry arugula, beetroot cubes from a bag, and tasteless goat cheese granules. Very poor value for money. The young waitress was very friendly. 2025: We come regularly for lunch or coffee. Today, the salad with chicken and prawns... What a greasy dish! The sauce (lots of fat) was poured over the salad, resulting in a limp, greasy, and watery dish. Previously, the sauce with prawns and chicken was served separately from the salad, which made the dish much more flavorful.

What a beautiful restaurant, with a wonderful atmosphere and a lovely location near a golf course. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The lunch was delicious, very well prepared, and the portions were generous. We had the crème brûlée with orange ice cream and crumble for dessert, and it was exquisite. In short, definitely recommended.

Prime location. Right on the golf course, but you can also enjoy a delicious meal here even if you're not playing. Definitely worth it.

Good price, nice food and good parking for disabled people

We sat outside in the sunshine. We had a lovely and delicious high tea. The service was excellent. Simply fantastic :)

I never imagined I'd ever face antisemitic accusations at Golf Club Amsteldijk and the Brasserie. I'm in shock, and I'll never step foot here again. Never again!

Everything is terrible. Bad food, bad atmosphere among colleagues at the bar, and grumbling from management—it doesn't make a dinner any more enjoyable. The quality of the food itself is also scandalously low.

Dining here with a group of six or more isn't really recommended. The wait is long, and with a pre-arranged dinner menu, the price/quality and quantity are low. It's perfectly fine for just drinks and snacks with a small group. Only when it's busy, the service is poor.

If you would like to bring your own cake for birthday, they charge you 4 euros per person.

Please don’t put any “Italian” dishes on the menu if you’re only intention is to desecrate it by making it of the worst quality imaginable! Food is about nurturing and being together, but what you are doing is an absolute disgrace. You really have to do your best to cook THAT bad. Shame on the kitchen and management

Last minute decision to visit this place on our bike ride, very friendly service but a bit forgetful, food is very good especially the burger!

Everything is fun when the weather is nice.

Yesterday we dined with two friends. The service on the terrace was okay, but because it got cold, we went inside to eat. The dishes were tasteless, and the presentation of the deposits was chaotic. The waitstaff completely ignored us. After our first drink on the terrace, we didn't even get a chance to order anything. We finally got up to get the waitstaff, but saw the people sitting next to us who were quite irritated. They apologized for being busy and understaffed. That's understandable and annoying, but it wasn't busy at all. We ordered dessert, and 10 minutes later, another server came to tell us it was already gone. This server wasn't interested at all and didn't even look at us. In short, we won't be back. It's a shame, it's a nice place, but the service and quality of the food let it down.

We had a lovely high tea with friends. My vegan diet had been communicated in advance. On the day itself, I was the only one who couldn't eat anything from the celebratory high tea, but was allowed to choose something from the menu. Why? How is it possible that you can't arrange something similar for a diet communicated months in advance? It's a shame, and in 2025, it's completely unnecessary. Furthermore, the tea was lukewarm on the first visit. It's a beautiful location, but apparently, diets aren't welcome here. It's a shame.

Father's Day My daughter and I (mother) wanted to have lunch at Brasserie 10. It was busy, the terrace was quite full, but we spotted a spot where customers had just left and were sitting down. A staff member came over and irritated us by saying that we should have waited and not sat at a table that was still dirty because she still had to clean it...she could have done that while we were already there, and she did, so she didn't see the problem. Then a friendly woman came to take our order. We knew what we wanted to drink and eat: two iced teas, a carpaccio sandwich, and a chicken wrap. Then we waited, got our drinks, waited, waited, waited, 75 minutes, and still no food. We asked twice where our food was, and were offered a drink as compensation, but we wanted to eat, and they were working on it. Yeah, right... Eventually, we got up, paid for our drinks, and the waitresses, very friendly, understood and were also annoyed. I said it wasn't their fault, but that the kitchen wasn't in order and it was their fault. If you know it's going to be busy because of Father's Day, make sure you have enough staff in the kitchen or that it's running smoothly... come on, a sandwich and a wrap, how much work can it be?

Terrible experience. Never spend your time going to this placez I did a reservation yersterday, arrived at this place exactly on time. We ordered first a bottle of wine and water… well: 30 minutes after, and nothing come to our table. Waitress even look to our direction to see were calling. At the end, we left with any support, drinks or food. Completely disrespectful. I DON’T recommend at all.

Had brunch here on Easter Sunday. Firstly had to wait 30 minutes before anyone came over for a drink. The food was also substandard. Pancakes without maple syrup or syrup, everything straight from the package. Cheap chocolate eggs were the only “sweet surprise” promised… never again here. It's a shame that the quality is so low in a beautiful location.

This place has everything to be a nice place to be but it doesn't get close to any of its possibilities. Food is snackbar level (my burger was clearly from refrigerated meat and not fresh), the service indifferent and the sphere something of an open air market. A shame.

Had a delicious fried egg sandwich

Heel lekker geluncht, was ook druk toen we op een doordeweekse dag de zaak inliepen. Vooral veel ouderen. Ik had een salade met kipdij en gamba, deze was erg lekker en goedgevuld. Daar kom ik voor terug! Mijn collega's hadden o.a. de kipsate en wrap met kip. Zij waren ook erg te spreken over hun eten. Minpuntje was dat het heel lang duurde voor we onze bestelling kregen, maar het was dan ook druk.

Nice place for lunch, brunch and dinner. But certainly also to just have a cup of coffee or a drink. Even fun for children.

Today I had lunch with my colleagues at BRASSERIE 10. The location of the restaurant is beautiful and quiet, which creates a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious and well prepared, with a wide choice on the menu. Moreover, the presentation of the dishes was very neat. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere made the experience even better. The value for money was reasonable which made it well worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to come back again.

Eten is goed, maar je moest buiten naar de wc! Als je verbouwt en open blijft zorg dan voor goede voorzieningen. Ook de verlichting buiten is zeer slecht, voelde me erg onveilig.

Unfortunately, another typical restaurant outside the city that tries crazy inappropriate twists on dishes with dishes that you should not touch. Ordered a delicious hoisin wok dish, do you get a wok dish served on a few green lettuce leaves with a mayo dressing? Was it not Dutch enough? Why not just make it the way it should be with rice or noodles, and where is the vegan option with tofu? So easy to make and put on the menu, which makes you more inclusive as a restaurant. Things could be a lot better in that area.

I don't know if the girl in the service was working entirely as a volunteer, it didn't seem like it. It was too cold to sit without a jacket and the satay was of snack bar quality

High tea, It was very busy at that time, so it sometimes took a little longer. 4 people per table, board with 4 choices of 3 snacks. Perhaps consciously, but it is a shame that not everyone can enjoy every bite.

Nice restaurant in a nice location near a golf course. We had a nice meal but we had 2x snitzel and it seemed like they were 2 different types of meat. Furthermore, we did not find the menu very extensive, we expected a little more from a brasserie. Friendly staff and prices are normal.

We had made a reservation for a high tea, and had called specifically to say that one of us was a vegetarian, but an etagere with chicken and tuna was still put in front of us. When we said something about that, there was no apology but the waitress just said oh so replacement for such and such. When someone else in our party said that they didn't like tuna either, the response was “no more high tea then, right?” with a grumpy face (apparently tuna is inextricably linked to high tea, according to Brasserie 10). We had to ask for a refill of the relatively small but extremely heavy pot of tea, not once were we asked if everything was to our liking, not a smile was seen. No, really disappointing experience and that for 26.95 pp, that was really once and never again

Gewoon op zondag lunchen met je partner, het was gezellig druk, vlotte bediening en een leuke lunchkaart. Twee uurtjes in de serre gezeten met een lekkere lunch, drankje en gezelligheid. Moeten dit veel vaker doen👍

Deleted my previous review from last summer. After a bad experience regarding the food, Brasserie 10 made up for it by inviting us to dine at the expense of the house. Packaged very nicely and the food was delicious! Thank you🙂

Disappointing with the High Tea, my girlfriend wanted to treat her but was disappointed. Previous experience was much better. The website says 4 savory snacks, we only had 2! Unfortunately not worth repeating for this price!!! Thank you Brasserie10 for this service, nicely resolved :) May come back again, but then the full High Tea and free of charge! I went for High Tea with my girlfriend yesterday and it was really delicious! We were well looked after and had plenty of snacks with delicious flavors. We really enjoyed it! Excellent food and nice atmosphere

Everything was well organised! Lunch was great! And Marcel was great! He was so nice! Since I have difficulty walking and don't have one yet I have a disability card, he already came called. My girlfriend was allowed to put her car in the disabled spot. My big compliments to him! Please pass on. I'll be back soon!

Having to wait more than an hour for your lunch, a simple salad, is really disproportionate. My wife ordered a vitello tonato sandwich with the tuna sauce separately, but got a tuna salad sandwich instead

There is a fairly small menu and on Saturday evening at 7:00 PM, 3 dishes from that menu were no longer available. So there wasn't much choice left for people who don't eat meat. That is a real shame and does not invite you to eat at Brasserie 10 on the weekend. The quality of what was there was good and the staff was friendly.
