Brasserie Berlage in Wijk 10 Zorgvliet

We come as regular guests of the Portier on a Sunday afternoon when Berlage would be open at this location according to the website. Turns out there's a private party. So a closed door. Apparently the website is not kept up to date. Would have saved us a lot of time and disappointment if this had been indicated. So no assessment on content.

Friendly lady, no room for our 3 colleagues, but we still found a solution in the planning. Nice waitresses dark hair, Isabelle and Negi and super friendly and warm. Food was tasty.

Worthless policy. We arrived with 6 people and a dog after a reservation. After they saw the dog, we were able to go outside! There was no room for an exception after this misunderstanding. In my opinion, very customer unfriendly.

I went to this restaurant because it was close to my accommodation, and I was very satisfied! In particular, the bouillabaisse (which I tried for the first time) was very delicious as it suited Korean tastes. It's the perfect accompaniment to alcohol. In addition, my child devoured the hamburger with great enjoyment, and the salad(?) with sashimi was also delicious! If I have another chance to come to The Hague, I want to visit again!♡

Ate here on Sunday evening and opted for the vegan tasting. It was incredibly delicious! It's not often you come across something so tasty in a non-vegan restaurant. My table companions had meat and fish and were also very satisfied. And it was nice and quiet in the restaurant, so we could hear each other well, including my deaf mother. I will definitely come back here!

Had a nice lunch prior to a Saturday afternoon visit to the Art Museum. It was busy there. Reservations required

I am a regular visitor to this restaurant and have had lunch with a colleague six times in the last year. We were always enthusiastic about the dish served, hence the return. I also described this very positively in a Google review. On my last visit we received a newly composed menu. The Caesar salad was mediocre and lacked the presence and therefore the specific taste of anchovies. Anchovies are not cheap, but neither are the dishes in Berlage. Shame. The Bouillabaise as a main course was really disappointing. I advise the chef and/or owner to take inspiration from the original: in my best experiences, Bouillabaise is a much thicker and richer soup (this was intended as a main course and then you expect some decent pieces of fish - again it seems saving on ingredients). The soup itself was tasteless and you expect the rouille to compensate for this, but that was also disappointing. Too bad again. Another chef? Or just a new menu? I'll probably try it again in the near future... and then I'll let you know. Service remains good without being excellent and the atmosphere is warm and cozy.

We hadn't made a reservation, but luckily we still got a spot. Delicious lunch. Very friendly staff. Clean toilets and very fair prices for a very good lunch.

The four of us enjoyed a delicious high wine last Sunday. Dishes and wine were well matched. We thought the hamburger did not fit in well with the other surprising dishes. Please replace with a dish that fits better into the whole. Price-quality is perfectly fine. Atmosphere and service were very pleasant. …Oh yes, Brasserie fits much better than the tendentious Gastrobar. May we change it back again. Greetings from four satisfied gourmets.

Beautiful place, very atmospheric, close to the art museum and omniversum. Friendly employees. I think the food quality/price ratio is a bit on the high side.

After visiting the art museum we had lunch here, we ordered the petit Bouillabaise. €13.50 We received a container with some loose cold fish, including 3 mussels and a small piece of sea bass, as well as some broccoli stems. A lukewarm gray fish stock was poured over this, which became cold very quickly. It was definitely not the beautiful Southern French thick fish soup that we expected, very disappointing, it was a tasteless dish. I asked the waitress to pass this on to the chef but it was forgotten! Later I spoke to the chef and he didn't understand what I was talking about, it was really Bouillabaise. Very disappointing experience.

Wij gingen na bezoek kunstmuseum iets eten in dit mooie restaurant, bestelde Bouillabaisse. 13,50€ Wij kregen een bakje met wat losse stukjes vis zoals mossel (3) en kleinstukje zeebaars en wat kleine stronkjes broccoli . Daaroverheen werd een lauwe visbouillon geschonken. Dit had niks met de mooie zuid Franse Bouillabaisse te maken het was gewoon smakeloos. De kok begreep niet waar ik het over had en deze soep was naar zijn menig Bouillabaisse heel jammer ik ga er nooit meer heen.

Had lunch with my mother last Sunday after a visit to the Art Museum. I had made a reservation just to be sure. We were kindly received in a restaurant that was still quiet at that time. Our dishes; the brioche salmon and the croquettes on bread were very tasty. After another delicious cup of coffee, the restaurant was now pleasantly busy. So making a reservation may have been a smart move. Thank you for the good service, it really made our outing complete.

Recently had a delicious meal at this cozy restaurant. It was nice and busy at the end of the afternoon and that is always a good sign. The menu is interesting and offers sufficient choice and you can also choose from various types of wine, beer and soft drinks. In any case, we had a delicious meal and would love to come back!

I thought the renovated Berlage gastrobar was an improvement compared to the brasserie. The vegetarian dishes were also delicious and a sight to behold. The service was perfect. I will certainly recommend gastrobar Berlage to others.

Berlage is a cozy restaurant, with good food and friendly service. We had a delicious lunch here. For my girlfriend, Brioche with avocado, salmon and poached egg. For me- a farmer's brown with cheese, arugula, balsamic vinegar and pecans. Then we left for the museum.

20.10.24 In general I didn't think it was very clean at Brasserie Berlage. There were crumbs on the chairs and on the windowsill. We couldn't put our bags because the windowsill was full of food scraps and old stains from wine and coffee. However, the food was very tasty and the waiters were friendly and welcoming.

Had a delicious lunch at Berlage again yesterday. My wife had a sea bass ceviche with citrus dressing, granny smith and pomegranate seeds, I had a Vitello tartuffo. Accompanied by a nice glass of wine, we had another delicious lunch. See you next week.

We wanted to have dinner with you on Sunday September 22, so we first checked the website to see if you were open: yes, open. When we get there there is a private party. You need to know, but please report it, now we were standing in front of a closed door.

We had a delicious meal (a few bravette and a few sea bream) with seven of us on the terrace. Special desserts, great service and a big plus for the non-alcoholic cava!

Dit is dé plek voor een lekkere (late) lunch of (vroeg) dinner😊 bij mooi weer op het terras aan de tuin! Of binnen in het knusse restaurant. Wij hadden gekozen voor de bisque en warme fruit de mer met een heerlijk flesje rosé blush. Als toetje een zalige cocktail 🍸 maar ook voor evenementen staat hier het perfecte team voor je klaar, lief, zorgzaam personeel!

Had a good dinner on a nice terrace in a beautiful courtyard with a nice sun. Pleasant service and fast service. Ideal to combine with a visit to the Omniversum and Museon, which are located in the same courtyard. Parking at Omniversum or Museon.

We were not entertained. We got a table and after 15 minutes no one asked what we wanted to drink or eat. The waiter and waitresses were talking and laughing with each other and not engaging with the guests. We were here in Holland from Hungary for a few days, but we only had bad experiences here. Answering your question: We - 4 people were in this restaurant on Saturday May 4th, 2024. from 3-3:30 p.m. A waitress (with black glasses, brown hair) served a family, the others didn't want to do anything.

On 6 -4, I went for a cup of coffee with a group of people unknown to me after a tour of the museum. The coffee was good but to our surprise we could not pay individually. To not spoil the atmosphere any further, I settled.

Voor herhaling vatbaar, zeker ook met twee rijke musea zo dichtbij. Tip: breidt het vegan/vegetarische deel van de kaart wat verder uit.

Had dinner here before a concert at the World Forum. Located a 5-minute walk away. Location is not super cozy / interesting, it is behind the Marriot hotel and near the Berlage fair. The bistro bar was nicely decorated, the staff was very friendly and hospitable. Food was delicious, good portions. We enjoyed!

Een ideale lunchplek gelegen achter Museon en Kunstmuseum. De bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. Nog echte linnen servetten. De gerechten zijn royaal. Het 12 uurtje beviel uitstekend: kopje soep, kroket en carpaccio. Maar ook de Brioche kon ons bekoren. Lekkere koffie en gemberthee erbij en je hebt een heerlijke lunch.

On January 27, I had dinner at Gastrobar Berlage with my girlfriend and my father. And it was truly excellent. The menu consists of both meat and fish dishes, with a single vegan dish (but let's be honest: if you go out to eat, vegan is not really a choice. You can do that at home). As a starter we had scallops, incredibly well prepared and the layout of the plate was also a feast for the eyes. As a main course we had both the sea bream and bavette. Once again a wonderful preparation of the fish and meat and festive presentation of the plates. With the dishes we had a delicious Riesling from Stefan Winter. Berlage's wine list is certainly very good. Dessert consisted of Haags Affogato (home-made vanilla ice cream with espresso and a liqueur from Haags hopje) and verbena crème brûlée with homemade chocolate sorbet. Extremely tasty. We combined our visit to Berlage with a subsequent visit to Museon-Omniversum for an evening film. It is literally next to Berlage, so the reverse is also highly recommended: after your visit to Museon-Omniversum, eat and drink at Berlage. It's fantastic.

A great opportunity to eat or drink something. We had lunch there. That was excellent. A nice atmosphere. It was not easy to get the attention of the wait staff to order something else.

Ate here on Saturday January 13 and it was great! We were early due to... a performance at the World Forum. Young, fun and attentive service, delicious food (the fries are 'worthy of a bicycle tour') accompanied by a good glass of wine. Maybe the lamp above the table is something more dimming, but it wasn't really a nuisance! Recommended!

Unfortunately renovated again, noisy, (too) small menu for a cafe, if you want to be more than a cafe, don't have a burger in your menu. Outside lamp at entrance is missing. €€€

Discrete dinner began with a platter of cold cuts, liver and olive pâté and other appetizers to share with friends. As the main course, a guinea fowl leg stuffed with pistachios and a cognac sauce.

Prima locatie, wanneer je het weet. De eerste keer dien je te weten, dat je achter "Mandela" om dient te lopen. We zaten aan de pilaar bij de ingang en dat was met de openen van de deur af en toe wat tochtig . Verder zeer aangenaam en vriendelijke bediening. We komen zeker nog vaker terug.

Wat een goede plek om een middag museumbezoek te starten. We genoten van de Berlage lunch, aanrader, en zalm met gepocheerd eitje, niet te versmaden.

Een goede high tea behoort zo te zijn dat je voldaan en gezellig vertrekt. Welnu dat was niet het geval. Vriendelijke ontvangst eigenlijk niet. Warm water werd neergezet, daar kun je theezakjes in doen. de hapje arriveerden minstens een half uur later. De kwaliteit redelijk, de kwantiteit matig. Nooit meer !!!

Prachtige locatie. Personeel kwam niet uit zichzelf. Meerdere keren moeten vragen om te komen. Ze stonden te staan. Eigenaar of Maître d' op de vloer zou erg verstandig zijn. Ook erg jammer dat we ruim van te voren gereserveerd hadden en een tafel aan het raam aan de tuin gevraagd had en dat dus niet gehonoreerd werd. Dus in een donker hoekje geplaatst met 1 maal uitzicht op een muur. Toen we aangaven dat we aan het raam gereserveerd hadden werd er doodleuk verteld dat er in het hoekje ook een raam was. Eten was prima. Bavette was goed bereid met veel groenten. Burger prima met goed broodje maar op het houten bord verder niets. Kaal. Goede frietjes en truffelmayo. Zoete aardappelfrietjes als optie zou fijn zijn. Koffie Berlage is een schandelijke aanfluiting en veel te duur voor 3 mini stukjes. 9 euro voor een koffie (3 euro) en dus 6 euro voor een stukje boterkoek, een witte chocoladelolly en ondefinieerbaar mini-'taartje' dat klein, niet gaar en te kort gebakken was. Als je dan jouw naam er aan geeft moet het wel bijzonder en in ieder geval goed zijn. En als je bonen gebruikt van één van de betere koffiebranders uit Den Haag dan kan je betere koffie maken. Bitter, (te heet, machine niet schoon?). Cursus koffiemaken bij Capriole zou erg zinvol zijn, want op de Binckhorst doen ze het echt veel beter. Denk dat de leverancier hier niet blij zal zijn.

Gezellige bar en lekker gegeten, alleen temperatuur was iets te fris. Verder prima te tentje!

Verrassend lekkere salades! Ons gezelschap is zeer content met de kwaliteit ervan en met de ervaren service.

Geen 5 sterren omdat men niet van tevoren aangaf dat er voor een karaf leiding water betaald moest worden. Verder alles naar wens!

Zeer vriendelijke bediening en heeeeeerlijk eten.

Kijk, ik wilde doorgeven dat we met meer personen zouden komen lunchen. Maandag gebeld, geen gehoor. Dinsdag gebeld, weer geen gehoor. Later heb ik gehoord dat jullie maandag (begrijpelijk, Kunstmuseum is ook dicht) niet open zijn, maar ook dinsdag niet. Maar de telefoon ging maar over, en dan was het handig geweest om een automatisch antwoord te laten horen dat de Brasserie niet open is op maandag en dinsdag. Daardoor was ik geïrriteerd, omdat er voor te weinig mensen was gedekt. Ook een saaie tafel, zonder een bloemetje. Misschien moeten jullie even navragen of er iets speciaals is, als een groep van 11 vrouwen komt lunchen. De keuken is goed, dat weet ik uit ervaring, gelukkig, maar het eerste contact was stroef in het begin.

Uitstekend glutenvrij gegeten! Vriendelijk personeel en zeer behulpzaam. Menukaart aanwezig met vermelding van allergenen en eventuele mogelijke aanpassingen. Kortom top!

Heerlijk uitsmijter met een glas melk genuttigd. Niet zo hip, maar wel erg lekker 😉

Jammer dat het interieur ooit is veranderd. De vroegere sfeer/inrichting vond ik aangenamer. Lunch was lekker, vriendelijke bediening. Jammer dat er zo'n enorme frituurlucht hing. Het rook constant naar kroketten. Vanochtend rook mijn kleding nog naar een frietkraam.

Prachtig gelegen in de tuin van het Kunstmuseum. Erg druk, waardoor het iets langer duurde voor het eten gebracht werd. Vriendelijke personeel.

We gingen ergens snel koffie drinken. 10.30 uur in de ochtend. Bij de ingang van de parkeerplaats stond 10.00 uur. Bij aankomst waren de Lichten aan en personeel stond te kletsen. Bleek het pas 11 uur open te gaan en koffie zetten was nog te ingewikkeld. Ik begrijp wel dat je 11 uur pas open gaat, maar de service en flexibiliteit is dan ver te zoeken. Graag bord aanpassen…..

Erg gezellige borrel gehad. Heerlijk in het zonnetje.

We hosted a fantastic reception here for 150 people. The staff were super helpful in the lead up. We were blessed with fantastic weather and the venue was perfect after being inside a conference all day!

Gezellig en lekker gedineerd op terras. Aziatische keuken, gevolgd door Franse toetjes. Beter kan niet. Vriendelijke bediening. Absoluut een aanrader.
