We arrived at Brasserie De Groeve today for a children's party because the originally planned location elsewhere fell through. My little daughter's words were, 'This is the best children's party ever!'. What a warm welcome, what a fantastic waitress, and what delicious food; they pulled out all the stops to make it as enjoyable as possible for the children. We have been here a few times before and it was top-notch every time. This time it was outstanding! What a fantastic day. We will definitely keep coming back. Thank you!

We visit Limburg quite often, and specifically campsite Het Geuldal. Not only is the campsite in pristine condition, but the brasserie is also a real winner. Good food, a cozy atmosphere, and very friendly staff. It certainly won't be the last time we've been there.

Ideal with (grand)children thanks to the indoor playground. We had a delicious meal.

We have been here to eat on two occasions. The food here is excellent. The service is of good quality. However, you are seated among the children; personally, it would be nicer for guests who prefer to enjoy their meal in a quieter environment. For example, guests with children are placed in a separate room or separated by another side of the building. We personally found this very bothersome and will not go out of our way to eat here again.

Very nice location, too bad the service is really too slow and food can only be eaten inside. A mystery why that was decided.

Partly a campsite restaurant. Unfortunately, it had escaped my attention that the pickled meat was pork and not beef. I found the quality mediocre. Meat in a small pan, fries in a bag, no plate but a narrow wooden board, very little mixed salad in a bowl. We were seated in the conservatory, and as the wait staff walked past, the floor and my chair creaked and wobbled. Value for money adequate. Reasonably extensive menu.

Once again, a pleasant gathering with the Bie de Groeve family. Very friendly and cheerful service. We unexpectedly received a small gift for the special occasion of our visit. We will keep coming back!

Very pleasant atmosphere, lunch was delicious. Despite the crowds, the noise level was pleasant (in the conservatory).

Tasty food. The service was friendly, although it took a while before I finally received a menu to order food. The food was on the table very quickly after ordering. The little one enjoyed the indoor playground. You do have to buy a wristband (€3.50) for entry. We were not staying at the campsite, so I assume entry is included.

I would definitely go here for breakfast. We encountered friendly staff, the breakfast looked well-presented, and was generous. For dinner, I would advise everyone to run away as fast as they can. First of all, it took 45 minutes before we could even order. The baguette is dry and stale. Probably sliced ​​before dinner started. My little daughter's soup was so thick it could have been called porridge. The meatballs are from a can. After waiting 2 hours without a drink, our main course finally arrived. The Entrecote was a dry cut and overcooked to be called medium. The schnitzel was a 3-millimeter-thin piece of pork with breadcrumbs that arrives at the table deep-fried. Bone dry, tasting only of deep-fried food. I didn't eat it, and spoke to the staff about the quality. The gentleman thought I should try a schnitzel in Austria sometime, because they are all like that there. As a butcher's daughter and Austria enthusiast, I know better myself. Purely poor service quality; the quality of the food is so substandard that I can't even give it one star. We paid for everything because the gentleman thought it was our fault, even though we only ate three bites. €147.80 for nothing!! The two stars is an average based on the breakfast.

A very lovely spot to just relax for a bit. We sat outside on the terrace, surrounded by a few beautiful plane trees that served well as natural parasols. Very friendly and polite service, who also pay attention to you! Compliments to them. Nice menu, and we had a delicious meal there. Great place to grab a bite to eat with the family, with a nice playground nearby. Of course, you are at a campsite restaurant, so the quality of the food reflects that; I think the chicken satay was deep-fried, and that was really disappointing. The cauliflower salad, however, was very good. Quick bites are fine, but for high-quality, tasty food, no, go to De Nachtegaal instead.

Unlike other times, it was disappointing this time. The coleslaw from Aldi is much better. The shashlik, 3 skewers with pieces of pork and bell pepper in between, was dry; I thought €23 for this "dish" was pricey. The Dame Blanche was as it should be, with lukewarm chocolate sauce.

Nice place. Something for everyone to do. Children can play outside and inside. Air conditioning inside, which was great with the heat. The service was excellent and the food was fine. All in all, had a lovely lunch.

Last Wednesday I went to eat here with a friend. I ordered the shashliks, but unfortunately they came from the freezer and were very dry. The bell peppers were mushy. Definitely not recommended. Lots of crying babies, which didn't help matters. The staff didn't do much about my complaints. Unfortunately.

Beautiful spot, super renovated and lovely with the kids. It's a shame that the food and drink options are still a bit limited; the kitchen doesn't open until 11:30 and outside, where it's actually nice and pleasant to sit with the children, you can only have drinks. Hopefully that changes soon :) for now, we'll quickly opt for the nearby restaurant instead.

Nice beer and great with children

It's a joy to visit. No matter how busy it is, the friendly staff have everything under control. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. The renovated playground is fantastic!

If you have an allergy, you are better off avoiding this place. My father is forced to eat gluten-free and therefore asks (3x) in advance if this is possible. Even the chef was consulted, and the asparagus soup was supposed to be gluten-free… However, my father felt unwell after the meal and indicated this, asking again if there really were no gluten in it. Upon further inquiry, it turned out the soup had been thickened with wheat flour after all, so it did contain gluten…. They were willing to reimburse 8 euros, but my father's day was ruined; he could no longer walk and had to go home. Fortunately, no hospital this time, but it could easily have happened. This company has no knowledge of allergies; watch out for this. Despite repeated inquiries, incorrect information and poor service.

Lovely coffees and snacks throughout the day with childrens playground within sight of terrace and courtyard. Dinner is pricey but worth every euro and the service is always excellent.

This brasserie is highly recommended. We celebrated my father's 90th birthday here on January 24th. It's cozy, and the food is really good. But most importantly... the staff is fantastic! Very friendly young people. Wonderful!!

Nice brasserie where you can have a great lunch or dinner

The service was very slow and showed no interest. We had to wait a long time for everything; they were too busy on their phones. When we complained about the food, they were very nonchalant about it. We should have mentioned it sooner; they couldn't do anything about it now. I think it's a shame that the staff was so disinterested and didn't take their jobs seriously. Luckily, my food was good, but my partner's and sister's weren't, and the complaint about it wasn't taken seriously. It's a real shame.

It's a brasserie in a unique building and a business with potential. Just a few finishing touches are needed, and with this enthusiastic team, everything will be perfect.

Delicious food, great service. They really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. That little bit extra! I have a brain injury and therefore needed a relatively quiet spot in the restaurant. And that was taken care of. Even the reservation sign was unique. We will definitely be back!

Very disappointing experience. I was at the campsite with my son while he was playing at the playground and went into the restaurant to ask for a takeaway coffee. The staff member looked at the guy behind the bar, and he replied with a blunt and unprofessional “NO”, without any explanation or courtesy. Honestly, it’s hard to understand how a restaurant in a camping area can’t serve a simple coffee in a paper cup. No effort to help, no alternative offered, and no basic customer service.

This is a very family-friendly restaurant with plenty of space both inside and outside. A fairly wide variety of very well-prepared dishes are offered here and served with friendly service. A reservation is essential if you want to eat before 7:00 PM. Without a reservation, you can only get a table after 7:00 PM, and then some dishes may no longer be available. We went there without a reservation and still had delicious and beautifully prepared food, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
