Met Smaak in Wijk 00 Meerssen

The quality isn't what it used to be. My girlfriend ordered a Lunch Combo, and the last piece of bread had been cut off. The croquette didn't even fit on it, it was so small and thin. There was a pathetic slice of tomato and two slices of cucumber underneath. I don't understand why the waitstaff didn't tell the kitchen they couldn't serve this. The portion with the healthy sandwich looked better, but it was also the last piece of bread, and the quantity wasn't what we were used to. In short, what you get for 17 euros is a lottery.

Beautiful place. You can even have a coffee table there. Perfectly organized.

I find the price-quality ratio poor. 40 euros for a steak menu, where the extra steak isn't really that special.

The food was really good, their menu exudes luxury, but the interior isn't. Especially the staff. Not good at all. Unfortunately, they're grumpy.

A wonderful meal, with lovely, unique dishes you don't see on the menu everywhere (anymore), including sole, sweetbreads, and a delicious tournedos. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service, of course. A real night out! Chapeau!
