It hasn't been what it used to be lately. Even the butter cake tastes different. It's still cozy, though.

We had a Christmas dinner with some friends and I have never seen such a disappointed experience. Not just the quality but the time we have to wait... they brought the plates and without picking up the previous one... the ravioli of.my husband was empty but we try to make the best out of it... my deer was over cooked... a dessert kind of messy My friends said the chef was Michelin 🌟 but sadly it doesn't look on the service or plate... the Girl said they have problems with some screens which tells no one knows.how to work and organise a service? Papper and a pen perhaps? Totally not worth it Hope it learn from this fiasco

Initially, there was supposed to be bell pepper soup, but after ordering, it turned out not to be. Then we ordered a creamy beetroot sandwich, and the beetroot hummus was absolutely inedible. The bread was very fresh and delicious, and the nuts were also nice and crunchy. The service was very slow and curt when I asked if there was any entertainment for the little one; I had to go to the cupboard myself and find it. The atmosphere wasn't that special. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Nice spot near the center of Harderwijk. The food is excellent. Generous portions and friendly staff. Free parking is available behind the brasserie. Parking is limited, but there are other parking options diagonally across from it. You can park there for two hours for free. The terrace opens onto a small park by the water. It's a great place to stretch your legs.

Large tent, peaceful atmosphere, good food. Too bad no one stopped by to ask if we wanted another drink.

The restaurant lacks a certain atmosphere. The sandwich of the day was a bit meager. The service tried its best but didn't keep up with the cuisine.

We frequent the Bank and had reserved the separate room for Saturday, October 11th, to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday with lunch. There were 11 of us, most of us quite elderly. When we arrived, it turned out they had given the separate room to another group (I think a larger one...). We could also sit at the large table (they thought) in the middle of the restaurant, which was otherwise completely full and crowded. No apologies, nothing. Oh yes, they did mention that "she" or "he" (your colleague, you know) shouldn't have made that reservation. We left and then had a delicious meal at Hotel Baars, a few hundred meters away (tip!) in a cozy and quiet conservatory.

Brasserie De Bank was unfamiliar to us, but what a pleasant surprise! We happened to stop by for a quick lunch and were impressed by the charming atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the delicious food. The price is also very reasonable.

Excellent food in a lovely setting, and good value for money! We received a friendly welcome and felt well looked after at all times! The salad with freshly smoked salmon was a culinary journey for all the senses. We'd love to come back!

Recently, new owners have taken over, and it's become a fantastic place. Delicious food, friendly service. They even provided a lovely crate of toys for our daughter at the table. We had a surprise lunch menu, and it was delicious. Our daughter even received a pair of baby chinos 😂🥹 Highly recommended!

We were treated to a surprise menu, and it was delicious, affordable, and generous portions. The service was very friendly, though we had to wait a bit too long for the next course, even though it wasn't busy.

Great restaurant, we only had toasted sandwiches here and they were delicious. So we're looking forward to trying the rest.

We've had lunch at the Bank several times now. The quality is top-notch, the staff even more fantastic, and the prices are reasonable for the truly top-notch quality! In short, we'll definitely be going there again and definitely recommend having lunch there.

Het eten was goed, de bediening was wat minder. Mijn enigszins dementerende moeder vroeg of het eten wat over was (vnl friet) mee naar huis kon. Meestal gaat het daarna wel in de prullenbak maar ik heb nog nooit een restaurant meegemaakt die dat geweigerd heeft. Zeker niet in deze context. Als reden werd opgegeven dat ze geen bakje of plastic zakje hadden.. Uiteraard is dat onzin. Verder hadden we verschillende momenten het idee dat de persoon die ons hielp niet zo heel erg geïnteresseerd was. We konden niet zo goed uit voorgerechten kiezen omdat niemand dat echt lekker vond en hebben toegevraagd of wat uiering en bitterballen Met het brood als voorgerecht mochten. Stond allemaal op de kaart maar ze vonden dat een beetje vreemd. Later zag ik een groep binnenkomen van mannen die iets aan het vieren waren en groot hoeveelheden bitterballen er alles bestelde en dat was blijkbaar oké. We hebben wel een kleine verjaardag presentie gehad dat was wel leuk. Ik snap niet dat ze dit niet gewoon opgelost hebben een willekeurig zakje had voldaan. En moeder was best ondaan en het is zo eenvoudig op te lossen.

Ontvangst prima, wijn ook. Broodje voor ruim 8 euro, 2x pistoletje van de Jumbo met aioli en paprikatapenade (tapenade was nog ok!) voorgerecht, uiensoep was ok, stoof van gamba ook goed. Daarna begon de ellende. Vrouw had hamburger maar leek meer op een broodje bal gehakt. Mijn med/rare biefstuk kwam doorbakken aan tafel. Nieuwe gevraagd en moest 10 minuten wachten volgens mevrouw. Werd uiteindelijk een kwartier, kwam terug met een medium biefstuk. Zo is ie goed toch? Was de vraag.. nou goed wordt het niet meer maar ik ga ook geen 10 minuten meer wachten op een juiste cuisson. Enfin, geen bediening aan tafel meer gehad na deze klacht. Ook niet of het juist was opgelost.. we kregen een kopje koffie of thee kado voor het lange wachten, maar die hebben we afgeslagen. Uiteindelijk de jassen maar aangedaan en de half opgegeten borden op tafel achtergelaten en bij de kassa gaan staan. Bediening kwam aanlopen en zonder boe of bah toetste ze 92,40 euro in en we moesten pinnen. Gewoon pure diefstal, voor de bediening het eten en de entourage. Absolute aanfluiting! Geen wonder dat die tent niet op zaterdagavond vol zit. Oh ja de aanbevolen ripasso was wel lekker. Kortom; aanbeveling aan vrienden; NEE

The food was delicious, just on the edge of Harderwijk it was easy to reach. It was pleasantly busy on Saturday around lunchtime and the service was great! In addition to sandwiches, we also had a small soup and that was perfect with it. Definitely again next time. (Oh and the apple pie was super big)

Better than I expected, the food is tasty, large portions for what you pay. Lunch is delicious, they have great sandwiches here! The atmosphere is also very cozy, if you sit in a corner you are not bothered by the noise that much. Waitresses are very nice and always willing to help. In short, highly recommended!

Het is ons opgevallen dat er weinig aandacht is voor de gasten. Wanneer je binnenkomt duurt het erg lang voordat er iemand aan je tafel komt om de drankjes op te nemen. En ook daarna duurt het erg lang voordat je verder wordt geholpen. Dit is al jaren het geval.

Na gevraagd te hebben of we plaats mochten nemen, 15 minuten gewacht en compleet genegeerd. Zelfs op ons vertrek werd niet gereageerd. Blijkbaar was het poetsen van de bar, en het opnemen van de telefoon belangrijker. Gelukkig werden we bij Brownies voor Downies als echte klanten gewaardeerd.

After waiting 15 minutes of being completely ignored, we left again. Even our departure was not noticeable. Cleaning the bar and answering the phone were important.

One of my favorite food/drink locations in Harderwijk. Nice terrace outside with nice weather, just outside the hustle and bustle of the city center, but still on the edge of the same city center. The coffee is always very tasty and the food is excellent, whatever dish you take.

We ordered the Black Angus Burger twice. The meat is okay, well seasoned but unfortunately not medium rare, but rather well done. The patty was also pressed too tightly, which made the meat very hard. The brioche was toasted too much, so when I cut it or bit into it, everything fell apart and was very dry. It's an average burger for me. About the fries: very doughy and barely salted. In my opinion the price is a little too high for everything. Also for the salads. Paying €17.20 for a burger or €17.20 for a salad is disproportionate. I actually don't think that's appropriate. Service and ambience are good. Friendly service, the terrace is nice and the interior is also nice. What would make the service stand out would be to ask during the meal if everything is okay or if it tastes good. This makes the guest feel at home. That didn't happen either. To be 100% positive: I can highly recommend the Pinot Grigio.

We went for high tea. It was delicious and filling! Received prosecco to start and then a cup of soup followed by a whole tray of delicious food. Super tasty.

Had high tea at the Bank this afternoon. This one was very tasty! We received a soup and an orange juice or glass of prosecco beforehand and then etagères were placed on the table with a plate of sweets and 2 plates of savory sandwiches. More than enough and very tasty! In terms of tea, we could choose from fresh tea and there was plenty of choice. The teapots could have been filled more often. Price quality was good!

The food is simply not tasty. It's a nice place to sit, but have a drink. No dinner.

The terrace is beautifully situated. So definitely come back here for a drink. But I have now eaten here both in the evening and in the afternoon and both times it was not very tasty. Little tasteful food, staff is also very functional. Little personal attention and long wait for ordering and food. All in all, in our opinion, there are nicer places to eat.

We had a surprise party here with family. Received in a relaxed atmosphere in a stylish restaurant with a bar in the middle. The meal was excellent, especially the steak tartare is highly recommended (tip: ask for chopped onions and, if they have it, a raw egg!). Excellent wines too, both red and white, the sommelier understands! Great service, nothing is too much, all in all it felt good 👍❗️ If we are in Harderwijk again, we will definitely come back.

Reservation via Web was without an hitch, location is accessible Well even by car (parking on the Vitringasingel). The food was very well made, both by look and taste. Really friendly and fast service as well. Restaurant deserves a recommendation.

Good place to sit on the terrace in Harderwijk. I think it's a great menu. Everything is also neatly arranged inside so that you can also go there in the winter. Delicious apple pie and cheesecake. I have noticed that the operation differs a bit over the years. Sometimes top, sometimes just sufficient, but never substandard.

Very good restaurant. It is always difficult for us to find a place that can also contribute ideas regarding... the allergies. This is not only thought through, it is even made into a challenge. Every time it was surprising what they had made, but this time it was really great. Simply an adapted 4-course menu specially created. Not wanting is next to not being able to. Unexpectedly went into Harderwijk on a Saturday evening after a day at Zwaluwhoeve and an overnight stay nearby, super friendly staff, fast service, good food, atmosphere and price is good! Highly recommended!

Met vrienden hier afgesproken voor een gezellige lunch en lekker eten. Nou dat bleek anders te verlopen. De bediening bleek ver onder de maat. Het personeel was ronduit onattent en leek absoluut niet geschikt voor hun taak. Bestellingen werden onjuist opgenomen en verwerkt met als triest toppunt de poging om een niet besteld gerecht bij een gast in de maag te splitsen. Daarnaast viel het beloofde gerecht, toen het eindelijk op tafel kwam, erg tegen. Een stukje gepaneerd en gefrituurd kip op een fantasieloos broodje met slecht of ongewassen sla en welgeteld twee !!! Schijfjes tomaat. Kortom: leuke locatie maar bediening en gerechten moeten echt veel beter.
