Had a delicious lunch for a reasonable price. Friendly and fast service and a nice spot on the Harderwijk boulevard.

We had a lovely lunch. Plenty of food, great flavors, and friendly service. The youngest received some lovely attention, and the boys were able to watch Formula 1, which they were very happy about. Thank you all so much.

After a very warm welcome, we enjoyed a delicious starter: my partner had tomato soup with a warm roll, and I had the celery salad: a sight to behold and wonderfully fresh, almost too good to eat.... The attentive service brought me a glass of water when I accidentally choked, fantastic. May I give you a tip, somewhat copied from "Loetje": the steak gravy is sooooo delicious (they also serve white bread with it). Actually, your delicious entrecote and steak don't need any more sauce than that, although the sauces you served were okay in themselves. But in this case, less is more... We were generously provided with fries, and we were allowed more, but we couldn't eat more. 😉 In short: delicious food and lovely people to make us feel welcome, tops!🌞

Very friendly staff, service was smooth, friendly, and welcoming. The food was all delicious. We wanted to take pictures but were too busy enjoying ourselves. The carpaccio, taco, and tuna were delicious appetizers. It was no problem to serve certain ingredients separately or omit them (one person preferred no truffle mayo, the other preferred no cilantro). The steak and lamb shank were sublimely tender and full of flavor! We enjoyed it so much! Oh, and the dessert was a real treat. Chocolate mousse with raspberry jelly and pistachio ganache. Everything was divinely delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Never order mussels here, and they were attracted by flies and contained a strange kind of soft stone that looked like poop. After searching online, flies were attracted to them because they were probably bad mussels. We were still charged the full price of 50 euros for this. I recommend not going here.

Good food for a good price in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere!

Negative experiences with the mussels. This afternoon, a friend and I ate mussels at the Admiraal. When we opened the mussel pan, there was a strange, brownish, soft stone inside. We thought this was odd and reported it to the staff. They checked for us but said it wasn't anything unusual. After two minutes, our pan was FULL of dung flies. Not just one or two, but at least 10 to 15 flies. There were also three wasps in the pan that wouldn't leave. These flies and wasps would sit IN the mussel shells, making it almost impossible to eat. After searching online, where it said that in such quantities, it probably wouldn't be good anymore, we didn't dare try it. The mussels were also served cold, and I found them dry right away. Because of all the flies and wasps, we were no longer comfortable in our seats and wanted the mussel pan taken away. The staff was also surprised by how many flies were attracted to it. The mussel pan for two people is €27 per person, a staggering amount! When we paid, we asked if something could be done about the price. We understood that they couldn't take it all off, but we were hoping for some compensation. Unfortunately, we ended up paying €54 for a pan with cold mussels, a strange stone, and 15 dung flies. We're incredibly disappointed and advise against eating here! *attached a photo of that strange, soft (hopefully) stone*

I'm not really a good reviewer, because I've been eating and drinking here for years. Especially when the weather is nice, by the water—delicious, and honestly! What I do find really annoying is that I'm enjoying my mussels with my daughters, and then some idiot is smoking cigarettes, and the smoke is blowing right over my delicious food and into our noses. Super annoying. The terrace is part of the restaurant and really needs to be made smoke-free, please?!

We had a drink on the beautiful terrace. The service was fantastic, keeping a close eye on everything. After drinks, we decided to have something to eat. It was definitely worth it. The service here was also great, and they were always happy to have a chat. Our little man gave their delicious kibbeling a 9 out of 10. All in all, great service and food. We'll definitely be back.

The spare ribs were delicious. The staff was very friendly. However, the prices on the website didn't match the actual bill. There was a €3 difference in price. The website menu also lists "Main Courses." This should be written without a space.

We ordered fish - it was very oversalted. We asked to replace the fish. They replaced it and it was delicious. On a hot summer evening, the white wine was brought very warm, they explained that the glass had just come from the dishwasher. When we asked to bring an extra plate, the waiter said one minute and disappeared for 20 minutes. As a result, the dish got cold and the plate was no longer needed. In a word, there is a clear gap in terms of service. In general, you can go there, but there may be nuances...

The food was fantastic. We had a wonderful time by the water, and there were eight of us. Everyone enjoyed it. The food was truly amazing, the coffee was also fantastic. Only people who can't walk will need to take the stair lift up. The stair lift has to go further down; it's almost impossible to get on, and the seat is too narrow for larger people. Upstairs, you have to walk to the toilet, which wasn't feasible for me. Perhaps there's an option for a wheelchair upstairs or a disabled toilet downstairs, but otherwise, it was fantastic. Nice waitress comes to take order. I had seen a sign outside, see the photo. I read from top to bottom and want the Sprits Homemade Limoncello. I ask for the Sprits that is on the sign with Limoncello. The nice waitress asks Aperol? I don't know exactly what it is and say: what is on the sign. Limoncello... Apparently a matter of miscommunication. She goes to ask the manager if it can be solved. No, that is not possible. I also go and consult myself, mainly to explain that it is confusing for me. The manager starts the discussion and says that of course they are not going to throw anything away and that the sign is clear for everyone else. For me it is mainly about the way she communicated with me. I did not experience that as pleasant. Too bad.

Salmon sandwich with cup of mustard soup! Daily offer. Mustard soup was nauseatingly thick and heavily thickened, it made me miserable. Possibly to compensate for the small slice of bread with some salmon and lettuce. For the second time a miss here!!!

A nice restaurant on the boulevard with a terrace on the harbor side, offering a view over the Veluwe lake. The service is top notch, just like the fish menus and not even that expensive. We have found our restaurant when we are in Harderwijk.

The food was good although we expected something like mixed salad as standard with the dishes. The service was very correct and friendly. With my "doggie bag" it went a bit wrong. The "cocque au vin" was missing the vin😉. The chicken was wrapped, without the sauce.

The Bouillabaisse was well filled and delicious. The Club sandwich was also generous and well prepared. A delicious lunch and worth repeating!

We had made a reservation for 4 people and there was a reservation indication on one of the tables inside with my name plus the time. The staff were friendly and attentive. Even though it was very busy (on Sunday afternoon), the orders still came through quickly. The quality of the food was very good and we will definitely come back here again. The location is also great, with a terrace on the water, a terrace at the front and a large terrace next to it for the high season or when the crowds require it.
