My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tennessee. The food is generously sized, with just the right amount of meat for a satisfying dinner. The service is excellent and fast, especially considering the small space. There's a pleasant atmosphere both inside and outside, and plenty of seating. Personal expenses range from around €30 to €40. It's a great place to dine with family, or even for a team outing, such as soccer or work. I really enjoyed the food, especially the spareribs, where the meat simply fell off the bone—just the way spareribs should be grilled.

We had a wonderful meal here tonight, the starter was delicious, and the variety was perfect for two people. The main course was also delicious. If you'd like something extra for a big eater, you can simply order it. I highly recommend coming here to enjoy a lovely evening.

Two people dined here on a Tuesday evening. Parking is free and plentiful nearby. We received a warm welcome and were allowed to choose our own table. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small. We had nachos as a starter and rump steak as a main course. Nachos for two people were actually too small for two. The steak was cooked well, but too rare on the inside for medium. We also got five green beans wrapped in bacon and one portion of fries for two. The desserts were very good. Enjoyed the food, but didn't go home feeling satisfied.

Dined in the glass veranda. Had the original spareribs. Well done. A bit salty though. Five green beans wrapped in bacon for some much-needed vitamins. The potato wedges were crispy on the outside, floury on the inside. Bread with herb "butter" came first. It was called butter, but what was it? It was greasy and somewhat flavorless. After leaving, I was thirsty all evening and had to make an emergency trip to the restroom. Won't be back anytime soon.

The food was delicious. The spare ribs are highly recommended. What we missed were serving spoons for the fries, fried potatoes, salad, and mayonnaise. It wasn't hygienic to pick up with your hands, especially when there are several people. The waitress said it was served that way. I asked anyway and was given forks for serving. Nevertheless, we'll definitely be back because the food is delicious.

We really enjoyed the appetizers, the main course was also delicious, but we expected more. The portions were more than ample. We had a great meal for a reasonable price, but do make sure to book in advance as it gets busy. And don't dress too warmly, or sit in the conservatory, which is a bit cooler than inside.

A great restaurant with an extensive menu and delicious dishes. The service and quality were good, although I found the price a bit high; I paid €80 for a three-course meal including a few drinks, just for myself. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just had dinner here with the family. And everything was excellent!!!! I definitely recommend trying the steak here, among other things. Even the 9 and 6-year-olds thought it was better than their own children's menu. Well, that says a lot. Superb and wonderful staff. Kudos to the chef.

We ate here yesterday after randomly passing by and seeing the good online reviews. Honestly, it's a great place! The cold and hot appetizers were good, and the Tennessee spareribs were fantastic. The meat literally falls off the bone, and the honey/orange combination really complements it. All in all: highly recommended.

I went a few years ago and it was excellent. Now I can only say it was disappointing. The dry-aged wasn't dry-aged, but it was super dry and overcooked, and the piece was incredibly thin. Not recommended.

Delicious food. Friendly service. Portions were fine, but not overly large. Desserts were large, though! Very few options for vegetarians. There were no dessert options if you can't/aren't allowed to drink (cow's) milk, but a bowl of fruit was made upon request.

We unexpectedly found ourselves back in Harderwijk and found the location first time, as the last time was quite a while ago. We received a warm welcome, and were able to choose a table in the conservatory. The service was smooth and knowledgeable, with a keen eye for detail! We opted for two dry-aged sirloin steaks. They were superbly prepared with fries and a salad. Everything was perfectly arranged!

Not great... No cutlery on the tables so you have to ask for it yourself, there seems to be little interest from the staff and I got sick from the chicken satay, I won't go back!

Anyone who knows the steakhouse from the past knows that it is getting worse and worse. Service just sufficient, because long before we got the food. No more extra dish for bones and you have to try to clean your hands with your napkin, no more lemon cloth.

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food and good service

Unfortunately disappointing for a steakhouse: The steaks were not all cooked the right way. Two medium rares differed considerably from each other and the rare was served wrong. We discovered that ourselves halfway. The taste of the meat was ok. The bill was steep. Overpriced in our opinion. Not to be repeated.

Had a lovely meal after a day of shopping. The fried mushrooms were delicious, the spareribs delicious, and the salmon is also recommended. Actually everything was delicious, only I expected the classic tiramisu. Unfortunately it was not as I am used to from Italy, but it was okay. We could choose a spot where we wanted to sit.

Good food, but most people come for the spareribs. These are also delicious.

I would have loved to give 5 stars because the food was delicious, but unfortunately I do have a number of points of interest: 1. I had already made a reservation for a table at 7:00 PM more than 3 weeks earlier. We came with 8 people, but had to wait at the bar for over half an hour because our table was not yet available. 2. We then had to wait more than an hour until we were served our food. 3. I have indicated well in advance that I have allergies. Yet I was served a plate with one of my allergies on it. I also ordered ketchup and mayonnaise was served. 4. After waiting an hour it turned out that the order of one of the guests had not been written down. Where we had waited an hour for our food, the forgotten dish could suddenly be served within two minutes. All in all: a delicious meal for a good price, but if you have allergies, pay extra attention to what is on your plate and patience is sometimes a virtue. I do plan to visit Tennessee in the future.

I like to eat ribs and have eaten quite a few around the world, including in the U.S. of course. wherever I have worked. The ribs at the Tennessee in Harderwijk are among the best I have ever eaten. The doneness, the spices, the finish... I live 175 km from the restaurant. But I'll come back for these ribs.....

Hadn't been here in a while Menu had changed. I missed the pork stew and snitzel. I don't like fish and I don't like chicken satay either. I did it anyway because this seemed the most appropriate to me. I didn't like the taste so I didn't eat it all. My table companion always eats chicken satay but he didn't like it either. Fried Champions and mustard soup were good hence the 4 stars. I won't be eating there again anytime soon, but tastes differ

First visit here. Preparing a steak properly proves difficult. Although it was at the right temperature (and taste) on the outside, the inside was lukewarm. Probably all prepared medium rare in the steamer or sous-vide. That's possible, but you have to make sure you keep them warm... Problem was raised and it was resolved. It's a shame that the chef sticks his finger in your steak instead of a thermometer. Service very friendly and helpful! So maybe again for a second try, but the first impression was disappointing.

We used to eat here regularly, but unfortunately a lot has changed. The portions are now extremely small, and this is especially noticeable if you are a group of five. We received two mini containers of potatoes, and although the first order was free, the second round suddenly turned out to incur extra costs. This only became clear on the bill, which was quite disappointing for us. In addition, we also received mini containers of sauce that were also insufficient in proportion. The service also left much to be desired; it was a quiet Tuesday evening, but we were hardly asked if everything was to our liking or if we wanted to order anything. Too bad, because it really brings down the experience.

Food was great, highly recommended to go. We only wanted ice cream after dinner, the table was cleared and no one was seen there for a while. Then we decided to pay and go home. Thought it was a letdown on a very nice evening there.

I don't order spare ribs here anymore. used to be really tasty. tender pieces and such. Nowadays it really isn't tasty anymore. I've only had a tough mess the last few times, I think it's a bit of a waste of money. and yet I keep giving them a chance. I even added a nice, tender piece this time. From now on, let's go to the competitor.

We've been coming here for years. Food is always fantastic. Atmosphere is great. Staff always friendly. Absolutely great. My personal favorite is the largest striploin there is. Horribly delicious.

Food was very good! Pepper steak was flavorful and large. Salad was tasty, also the fries. Were 2 people. And we received 1 bowl of fries with 2 dishes. While you get fries with every main course. There was no point in asking at all. Service was mediocre, took a very long time and not really very friendly. Bring drinks and food and you don't see them again. Too bad because the dish was very tasty!

Tasty but a little expensive for German standards and the portions could be larger.

Ate goat cheese salad and spare ribs. The spareribs were excellent. Goat cheese salad was also tasty. Everything else was more than sufficient. Waiting time was fine considering the crowds. Highly recommended to eat here. Service is friendly and helpful. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but the quality of the restaurant makes up for everything.

We were here through a social deal. The food was really delicious. Only at the beginning of the evening did we ask if we could also order something outside of the social deal. The waitress came back to this, she said. She didn't look at us again for those 10 minutes and didn't say anything to us until we spoke to someone else. We didn't hear from the waitress all evening, she didn't ask us anything anymore and at the end she only gave us dessert. It was a very strange evening from that point on. Food is highly recommended. .

Soup was cold, satay had no taste, steak looked like a piece of chamois leather, spare ribs were way overcooked and looked like a piece of water chicken, desserts were fine Children from the table next to us were provided with a coloring book and pencils, our children received nothing. All in all not a positive experience. Would rather go to TRex in Putten.

Food is top notch and the decor is attractive. We were there on a day when it was around 30⁰ outside, but it was almost the same inside. Apart from a single ceiling fan, there was no cooling to be found. Food is just good, but it is a shame that the food was not delivered at the same time. Asking for an extra drink was also a problem. The wait staff paid no attention to you at all. At one point we started waving (don't shout), but they didn't come. In this heat we had to make do with one drink. Pity. Asking for a desert card was also difficult for the same reason. Left without a tip, sorry, but you have to do something for that. Must be related to staff shortage? Fine, but please report this.
