Brasserie de Witte in Wijk 11 Venlo-Centrum

After calling four times to make a reservation and leaving a message on the website, I gave up hope. I don't think this brasserie wants to make any money.

We had a staff party yesterday. It was a lot of fun, and the location was perfect. The room was beautiful and nicely decorated.

Tijdens ons weekend in Venlo hebben we hier gedineerd en heerlijk gegeten. Verwacht geen uitgebreide kaart met super-de-luxe gerechten, maar wil je gewoon lekker uit eten bij vriendelijk personeel dan is dit echt een aanrader. De brasserie zelf was ook erg mooi ingericht.

The small pub in the middle of Venlo at the front is nothing, but the covered city garden (used for a party) at the back is attractive and beautiful. Located in a very old building with some nice details. The service is neat, friendly and smooth. Good coffee, tasty snacks.

Nice location and friendly staff

We had our wedding party here last weekend and we are very happy with the service of this location. We had a delicious dinner, friendly and hard-working staff and they thought along with us and cooperated. The location is beautiful in itself, but flowers and candles were also placed for us, we received many compliments about the location. The prices are good.

Lovely place to sit, hidden from the hustle and bustle. Nice for a drink or for a perfect high tea 😍

Cozy outside, but also when you walk through the store you come to a kind of indoor terrace where you can also relax. Also accessible via another street.

The courtyard looked nice, but it was chilly because it was not warm outside. The food was delicious, the portions not too large, so you got a full menu (starter, main course and dessert), without having the feeling that you had eaten way too much! Furthermore, the staff was very friendly.

Just had a delicious meal. Black chicken, spare ribs and the Fettucini con Gamberoni were delicious. Price-quality is excellent and the service is perfect. Highly recommended.

We were there last Wednesday... well I called because I didn't know exactly where it was, well Mr. very unfriendly on the phone that was already 1 well I thought it was that I did it for an old lady's birthday otherwise I would have just gone home... well when we got there and we were given a place in the sun we wanted to get out of the sun because of the heat and for the female (93 years old) the girl already started rolling her eyes... well that's fine When we sat down we were given soup, it contained pork which my girlfriend was not allowed to have, she simply said then take it out... then she came with 2 "racks with plates" on which the savory and sweet were put together. we thought you would get that separately, coffee was not offered, only the tea for water you have to pay extra, while bubbles were also unlimited, but it was not even offered.. the food was tasty, but no one looked after you to see if you wanted anything. If I wanted to drink, I had to ask for it myself, they were sitting outside on the terrace at the entrance, it felt like this is where the food is and it's ready, have fun ... I won't go here a second time and I don't recommend it either!! But in my experience that is very unfortunate!! It was not even explained what high tea was or what you could expect.

A very attractive restaurant, modern furnishings, friendly service that really cares about the guests. However, 3 stars because the food itself does not have a wow factor. It's not bad, but not very special either. The satay ajam in particular could be much more flavorful.

Nice concept. Only the price does not match what you get. Order new coffee up to four times because of sour milk. Then you think there will be a solution. Unfortunately, just look at it.

We had the Deluxe high tea via Social Deal. Delicious soup beforehand, then savory snacks followed by sweet snacks. Serve with a nice glass of bubbles. Unlimited tea. It is very pleasant to sit in the garden. Friendly staff.

Cozy in the winter garden, good food and friendly service

We ended up in this tent through social deal, we were led through a very quiet front door to the back where it was nicely placed. I saw about 4 couples eating that evening, so it was very quiet. You are often a bit hesitant about what to expect from the food, but we were very surprised with the three-course menu. As a starter, the bread is highly recommended, fresh baguette from the oven and a really large quantity. The spaghetti with prawns was really good and just the way you would like it. Furthermore, nice service and a good welcome. A wide choice of desserts and I would definitely visit here again.

There are few plants in the courtyard. It therefore does not look like a garden and there is not enough ventilation when it rains outside. If you place air-purifying plants, you have solved both points at once.

When you walk to the back you suddenly find yourself in a conservatory. Lots of light and a cozy interior. Thought my farmer's omelet tasted like mayonnaise, but that might just be me.

Great place in the old town of Venlo. it is in a well hidden place, which might explain that I never saw it full of people. If you can find it, make sure to stop for drinks, lunch or diner!

Rented space for a private occasion, beautiful location, especially at the back where you can sit under the stars. A lot of money has been invested in the renovations and lighting (LED). The environment had already indicated that they sometimes experience this. But that is of course to be expected if you want to live in the center. As a customer I really liked it, was contacted later and was allowed to photograph this location as an assignment. Win win for everyone of course. All photos are included with this posting.

Well, describe my experience In any case, I hope that my Daughter did not pay 22.50 because that was ABSOLUTELY not worth it from what I saw. We had nothing, yes, a cup of tea and much later a soup and then nothing and later nothing if you then something says and you see they don't do anything with it other than "we are so busy and I have to train the intern. Bullshit, we had made a reservation, and busy, what is busy!? After 45 minutes we decided not to wait any longer." and we went, I felt very sad for my daughter!!

A small oasis in the city of Venlo. How comfortable you can sit here. Delicious coffee and a nice smooth wine with very tasty fresh bread! We will definitely eat here sometime!

Had a great dinner here. One evening we were tempted to walk in here. Chef knows what he's doing.
