Today I'm having lunch at "De BLOIE DAG." I specifically chose this location hoping to eat better and tastier than at the commercial establishments. And that was also the case during my previous visit in the spring of 2023.... BUT TODAY...!! WELL, MY DAY IS NOT THAT BLOOM. You do pay a bit extra, about €15 per sandwich, but you hope to see that reflected in the food. Anything but. A tuna sandwich, watery, thin, and strangely flavorful, sparsely filled, and very salty too. No, I didn't finish it. Even the employee admitted that the tuna was very strong and heavily seasoned. I have a hunch as to why it tasted so bad, now that I'm nauseous, constantly feeling nauseous, and lying on the couch with a severe stomach ache. I told you I'd been to your restaurant before, and you may have recognized me from that, although I understand you can't remember everyone. But I always only eat tuna sandwiches or slices like the ones you served before. A tuna sandwich costs €12.95, not €15, but I got an average of what we ate. I can mention, and I told you this at the table when I complained, that I should have gotten a sandwich from Bart's bakery. Oh, and it costs €6.25 there, just in case there's any misunderstanding. Yes, I am indeed a former hospitality entrepreneur, which means I can't help people who are genuinely dissatisfied. You also shared with me that the taste wasn't good and I couldn't explain why. On Sunday, I received incredibly poor service at Duuve. I waited half an hour for two lattes. Then I pointed this out to the waiter. Then I waited another 10 minutes and left the terrace in vain. Being busy was no excuse for this.

Had a lovely late Sunday lunch. The cappuccino was creamy and served with a dollop of whipped cream and Baileys. The chicken thigh baguette was very tender and delicious. A bit too much for one person. The club sandwich came with chips on the plate. This was an unnecessary addition. A bit of an odd combination. But still, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Friendly service. Prices have gone up considerably, but the food is much worse than before. A shame.

What a mess. No bitterballen in the afternoon. Not until 5 p.m. We arrived at 4:30 p.m. and patiently waited until 4:55 p.m., but the order couldn't go through because the staff was eating. Understandable, but a little flexibility, and we left as satisfied customers at 5:30 after two drinks. Now we paid the bill at 4:55 p.m.... We won't be back. What a disgusting meal we ate yesterday. My husband had a meatball with fries. The meatball had no taste and was very dry. I had Burgundian croquettes, but there was nothing Burgundian about them, way too greasy and only yellowish flour. You pay 12 euros for that, for a dried-out meatball. The satay sauce was also very watery. We were both at Rennies last night. They have significantly deteriorated in quality. You won't see us there anymore

Booked high tea with a large group. A nice atmosphere and the high tea started very promising, tasty sandwiches and a delicious soup, but the sweet round was very disappointing. 1 cake (not spectacular in taste) and scant macarons and puffs with a drop of cream. We expected much more from the sweet round, fresh pastries, maybe a scone or brownie, in the end it's all about the sweet round. Drinks were often offered so that was very nice, but an explanation of the sandwiches or a tasty meal when the round was served would have been nice. Delicious coffee and overall satisfied.

I can't say much yet because I only had a latte there, but I ordered a latte and I then got a cappuccino, so it didn't matter, it was tasty and nicely laid out and the atmosphere is nice there, it was a large space and the toilets are downstairs and you have to go up a set of stairs, which was done nicely, for us it was a success, just a shame about the cappuccino, but we are people and that doesn't matter, everyone does care.

Wat ik heel bijzonder vind is dat men hier meegaat met de tijd. Moest ik vorig jaar nog speciaal bij de reservering vermelden dat ik iets veganistisch wilde, kon ik nu gewoon van de kaart bestellen. Kom daar maar eens om in de regio. Personeel is ook relaxed in de omgang. Mochten met collega’s apart betalen. Ook zonder moeilijk doen. Mijn collega’s en ik ervaarden het als erg klantvriendelijk.

We wilden gebruik maken van een tegoedbon voor een luxe high tee. We werden geconfronteerd met eventueel het te betalen van meerkosten als deze high tee duurder geworden was dan op het moment van aanschaf! We moesten hier om lachen maar toen ik onze extras bestelling wilde afrekenen moest ik bijbetalen voor de duurder geworden high Tee. Oordeel zelf maar ik heb dit nog nooit meegemaakt en ga dit ook nooit meer meemaken want ik kom daar nooit meer.

Nice lunch Currywurst unfortunately the sausage could not be compared to those in Germany. The taste is excellent but the size was disappointing. Eating was also difficult because of the way the sandwich was cut. Bouncer was excellent and very tasty.

Samen met vrienden hier gisteren gegeten. Gezellige tent met een heel ontspannen sfeer. Wij namen het maandmenu en werden blij verrast. De champignonsoep vooraf was oké. Het hoofdmenu een steak werd begeleid met 3 asperges en wat gebakken aardappeltjes met kruidendokter. Friet en mayo erbij. Prima. De salade miste wat dressing maar dat was dan ook het enige minpunt. Het toetje monchoutaart met appel karamel en ijs was uitstekend. De ambiance is prettig even als het bedienend personeel. We hadden een leuke avond!

Ik heb al vaker een recensie achtergelaten van dit restaurant, maar ik kan het niet nalaten dit weer eens te doen. In al die jaren dat wij er komen zijn we nooit teleurgesteld. Of het is met de lunch of met het diner het is altijd goed. Fijne vriendelijke bediening en het eten is altijd heerlijk en goed verzorgt. Een zoals andere jaren was het kerstmenu weer overheerlijk. Fijn dat we in Duiven zo,'n fantastisch restaurant hebben.

Wat een leuke plek. Interieur gezellig huiselijk naar mijn mening. Ik hou er wel van! Appelgebak was lekker warm gemaakt! Dat was trouwens niet gevraagd. Tip: vraag het even van tevoren. Het staat ook niet op de kaart dat deze lekker opgewarmd wordt.

Zo af en toe even terug in het dorp waar ik 33 jaar gewoond heb en er sinds enige tijd eindelijk iets van een uitgaans centrum is waar je lekker wat kan eten en drinken. En daar hoort zeker de Brasserie Een Mooie Dag bij. Er is een gevarieerde kaart en een heerlijke lunch genoten met mijn vriendin. We zijn er al meerdere keren geweest en dat zegt genoeg. Een aanwinst voor Duiven!

Ik heb samen met mijn zussen van een heerlijke hightea genoten. Je krijgt er waar voor je geld. De bediening is helemaal top. Het is volgens mij een favoriet etablissement want het was er gezellig druk. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug.
