The ambiance is great. The service tried to be friendly, but wasn't very attentive. The open fire is a no-go if you have small children with you. A screen would be very useful. The food was so-so. It's nothing like the gyros you get in German restaurants. It was quite bland, and the Metaxa sauce was basically just fat and onions. It didn't take long to get it back up. There weren't enough fries. Two people have to share a single portion of fries and salad. For that, the meal deal is too expensive. We waited about 15-20 minutes for drinks. We waited about 60 minutes for food for five adults. Simply too long for gyros and fries. One round of drinks was completely forgotten, but they were still added to the final bill. If we hadn't checked, we would have paid €10 more. Overall, the first impression was unfortunately better than everything that followed. Perhaps the team was just having a bad day. It would normally only be two stars, but since it's Christmas, I'll give it three.

Enjoyed in a rich Greek environment

Ate here for the first time. Initially, we wanted to eat in the restaurant, but I was too exhausted, so I ordered a delicious Athens platter. It was delicious and plentiful! We ordered extra tzatziki, because "you can never have too much tzatziki!" And it was delicious! According to my husband, the spareribs were nice and juicy and fell apart easily. The other meats were also good; you could really taste it. It came from a grill, and there was plenty! The only downside was that you have to pick it up, but that was less of a problem once I mentioned I was there for takeout. A brilliant woman in the kitchen called out that it was almost ready with a look of welcome to the family. Super happy! So, we'll definitely be back! Enjoy a meal at the restaurant or at home!

Last week we had a delicious meal here on a stopover on our way to Rotterdam. The restaurant was quiet, so reservations weren't necessary. (Weekday) The service was friendly and helpful.

We dined there this time with a group of five. We'd been before, but it's always cozy, friendly, and the food is delicious. Friendly service.

Delicious Greek food, normal portions, friendly service

Very poor. We made a reservation in advance, asking: "Please have a table by the window, definitely not in a dark corner" (I don't feel the need to explain my poor eyesight). The restaurant hadn't called to say they couldn't accommodate this, and we were placed at what was almost the darkest and most uninviting table in a busy corridor. Tables by the windows (far from the kitchen) turned out to be for larger groups, as they can be noisy! After much insistence, we were given a table away from the corridor, but the server who had given us the first table shouted for no reason that we couldn't sit there. Two elderly women who arrived (both with walkers), who had made reservations days earlier, were given an equally uninviting table in a dark corner, which (considering their respectable age) lacked any comfort. Seeing how this restaurant treats quiet customers was the deciding factor for us to leave. A little later, we were seated in a restaurant where every customer is respected.

Great Greek and Mediterranean food in Duiven. One of the best restaurants around and can't go wrong with the variety of food available. Their mixed grills are really good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

What a nice and cozy restaurant. Was here for the first time yesterday with my husband. And we enjoyed the fantastic food, everything was really tender and delicious. When we came here last week, the terrace looked blue and misty from the smoke. You could even smell it through the windows inside. The music was also way too loud. After a drink we went again without eating anything.

Wonderful authentic Greek restaurant as it should be

The owner is sitting on the terrace outside with a group of friends and they are drinking and smoking a lot. There was also loud talking The owner had no regard for people on the terrace and was not organized when a table became available, which made it unclear whether a table had been reserved or not. We often go to Germany to a Greek place where the atmosphere is often better. You will also receive a free ouzo from the host.

Nice Greek restaurant with tasty dishes

Delicious Greek food at this restaurant. It was not all peaceful. The little children threw dishes and screamed at everything.

We like coming here. Delicious food and very friendly service. The Greek dishes such as the gyros are delicious, but the spare ribs and pepper steak are also very good! And the white one I also really like cabbage salad. You don't have to cross the border for a good and inexpensive Greek meal.

Every few weeks I brought the Gyros dish here, ready within 10 minutes and well packaged. Unfortunately, the taste was a bit disappointing the last two times, the meat was fatty and moderately seasoned. The fries were also fried several times. We will probably come back again, but not for now.

Für einen Freitag Abend waren sehr wenige Gäste im Restaurant. Wir wurden zum Tisch geleitet und konnten direkt Getränke bestellen, die auch sehr schnell geliefert wurden. Die Vorspeisen standen ebenfalls schnell auf dem Tisch und waren schön und ansprechend angerichtet. Auch geschmacklich waren wir sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte mir das Gyros bestellt und war ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Die Portion war, verglichen mit den in Deutschland üblichen Portionen etwas kleiner, aber voll ausreichend. Der Service war zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Wir konnten uns in englischer Sprache mit der Bedienung unterhalten.

Echt een ontdekking, genoten van een heerlijke maaltijd. De bifteki was misschien ietsjes minder, maar de andere gerechten perfect! Ook een gastvrije en klantgerichte bediening. Zeker niet duur.

Fantastisch gegeten. Nu in korte tijd 2x afgehaald en 1x gezeten. Ik vind het heel mooi om te zien hoe de gerechten zijn afgestemd. Alles is netjes, lekker takjes tijm erop, fruit en groente erbij, niet te vettig. Een goede en nette griek. Enige puntje voor mij is dat ik het idee heb dat er toch nog iets mist qua sfeerbeleving in het restaurant zelf. Misschien wat spelen met verlichting en te donkere elementen verwijderen.
