We come here quite regularly. Yesterday the idea popped into our heads and we hoped there was still room. Fortunately, there was still a spot for two, and we were able to enjoy a nice meal and have a lovely evening. (Another moment..) Went for lunch with a former colleague this afternoon. We hadn't done that at Mundoz before, but today it tasted incredibly good again.

Above average. Ate here on Friday; the reception was polite, and the host at the table was very good, attentive, and interested. Ordering food by phone was very easy. It was served quickly and was top quality. Plenty of choice for everyone, and requests for something specific were no problem. It was busy but certainly not disruptive.

It was great again. Good food and drinks, we come here regularly.

The food was certainly not bad. Unfortunately, the music here is so loud that you can hardly filter it out of the conversation.

Pretty decent food, but the music is way too loud and, like all modern-day misery, unbearable to listen to. I also wonder if they do that on purpose to get you out of there as quickly as possible.

Eaten there for the first time on the recommendation of others. The food was very good and the service very friendly and helpful. We were given a very friendly welcome upon arrival, and when paying the bill, we were asked in detail if everything was to our liking. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended!

A friendly welcome upon entering and a cozy dining establishment with fine service. Hospitable staff who do their best to make guests feel at ease. Attention was also paid to the little ones, which is not unimportant at all 👍. For us, all the dishes we chose were tasty and flavorful, except for the kibbeling, which was less appealing in terms of taste and had too much batter around it. The selection of desserts is also huge and they are all flavorful (sometimes a little too sweet, but definitely yummyyyyy 😊). We will be back again 😋.

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant on Remigiusplein. Everything served was of excellent quality and beautifully presented. The fresh salmon and the perfectly cooked steak were particularly well-received. The portions in the bowls are just right, and the fries with a generous dollop of mayonnaise were deliciously crispy. We had a fantastic evening here and will definitely be back.

Today I ate pigeons at Mundoz with my wife. The food tasted great, but it seems like they've started using a lot more salt. We drank a lot during dinner, but also felt almost insatiable when we got home. We each drank our 1-1.5 liters of water within an hour of leaving Mundoz.

We thought we'd try something different. Lots of small, tasty dishes. The food was fine too, but personally, there were too few choices in sushi, for example. And it was very noisy around us. Fine restaurant with friendly staff and fine food, that's for sure.

It was, in one word, amazing...

If there is a problem, they still come by to ask again. They work well with cards for when you have an allergy. The dishes are balanced in terms of flavors; you can taste everything.

I went to eat at Mundoz again tonight, even though my last visit was in 2021. I had heard from an acquaintance that it was supposed to be very good these days, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, my experience was a major disappointment. The fries tasted as if they had been fried earlier and then reheated. The sashimi was cut very finely and not as you would expect in terms of presentation and quality. (See photo) Additionally, I tried three different meat dishes, but every single one of them was tough. There was also nearly a kilo of garlic on the tournedos, which caused the flavor of the meat itself to be lost. The noodles were completely tasteless. I had to add soy sauce myself to give them any flavor at all. The edamame beans were perhaps the most striking; they looked as if they had been boiled hours ago and then sat under a heat lamp. The photos speak for themselves in that regard. We also ordered a dessert with fresh fruit, but that fruit had already turned completely brown. After we pointed this out, we fortunately received a new portion. The homemade iced tea was tasty, though. The service was also fine. The staff was friendly, open, and helpful. Unfortunately, they cannot be blamed for the food being so disappointing. All in all, I am very disappointed. After the positive stories, I had expected much more. For the price and the reputation I heard, I found the quality of the food to be very poor. Unfortunately, this was the last time for me. If it were possible, I would actually have given 0 stars. Unfortunately, that is not possible, so I am giving 1 star, and that is entirely for the staff.

Nice place, great atmosphere, exceptionally well-trained host (Ruben). He wasn't unnecessarily intrusive, saw that we were hospitality professionals, and kept it short and to the point, but with sufficient upsell regarding drinks. The rest of the wait staff also worked hard, scanned tables well, and moved along efficiently. The sushi was disappointing because the rice was poorly seasoned. The tataki was nicely balanced. The side dishes weren't memorable, especially the curly fries. Portioning was excellent, all bite-sized. A bit tricky for shared dining, but it worked fine. The gyozas were deep-fried instead of being cooked on one side and steamed the rest. Not a huge deal, but still... The menu offers a very extensive selection and the food arrives quickly. The kitchen deserves 3.5 stars, but that option isn't available. All in all, definitely worth a repeat visit.

It is always nice to come here, whether with colleagues, friends, or family. We visited again last Saturday. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and relaxed, making you feel welcome immediately. What is also very pleasant is that there is something tasty to eat for everyone, so there really is something for every taste. Additionally, the staff stand out for their friendliness. In particular, the young man with the mustache who welcomed us; he made it extra hospitable. We would therefore love to come back here again soon!

We had a wonderful meal here. They have three restaurants with this formula, and we've been to two now: Duiven and Lichtenvoorde. We still have to try Zutphen. Truly delicious, you can order via your mobile phone, and you don't have to wait long. Highly recommended.

For a weeknight, it was packed. Very friendly service. It was my first time there, and I have to say...it was quite unusual to order via QR code. The appetizers were very small, and they were also a bit lukewarm. I find two sips of wine per glass a bit small. Some friends had to wait for their food while others were already starting. The atmosphere was good...a big chunk of your debit card 😂, but it was cozy.

Very satisfied with this restaurant. The dishes were of good quality. The service was friendly. And what I particularly appreciated was that the dishes were served very quickly after ordering. There was a maximum of 5 minutes between orders. I've also experienced restaurants with this same concept where you have to wait 20 minutes or more after each order. With such small dishes, that's not very helpful.

A delicious sandwich was provided upon arrival. It was quite full, but you didn't feel crowded and had plenty of space and privacy. Rounds were served very quickly. We will definitely be back!

Today I went to Mundoz for the first time with my uncle and aunt. The moment I walked in, I was immediately sold! The food was delicious. The homemade iced tea was amazing! (I was joking with one of the servers about what's the secret to iced tea🤪). And the service was really, really friendly! I also thought it was nice that one of the servers introduced herself and said if we had any questions, we could ask them. Really great! I'll definitely be back! 😁👌🏻

I was served by Genayro, a wonderfully sweet young man who treated us all day with pleasant conversation, a sweet demeanor, positivity, and kindness. The food was amazing, and the service was the best I've experienced in the Netherlands in years (I'm 21, so that's not saying much, but ignore it, lol). Even when we hadn't realized the rounds were over, Genayro found the chef (who had already left) to make us one last crème brûlée. The service was generally very friendly, but Genayro in particular. Definitely recommended for those who appreciate good food and great service.

Absolutely perfect! One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We'd already finished eating when we had a lovely chat with Julia, and I told her we'd been an hour and a half from here, but since we were in the area for my birthday, she even brought dessert afterward, which was so sweet! We went here for dinner and had a truly delicious meal. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was fast and super friendly: food and drinks arrived promptly, and the clearing was also lightning fast. A big plus: unlimited side dishes and the option to order two dishes per person all evening (hot until 10 pm and cold until 10:30 pm). It's definitely one of my top-5 restaurants I've ever been to. Highly recommended!

In one word: wow!! We wanted to have some delicious tapas with our three kids and ended up at Mundoz. What an experience! Absolutely everything was top-notch! Kudos to the warm and responsive staff. From the moment you step inside, you feel very welcome, and the host is incredibly helpful. Everything was clearly explained and went very smoothly. You order via the app, and within 5 minutes, everything is on the table. Empty plates are also cleared away incredibly quickly. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. This is hard to come by in many restaurants these days. But at Mundoz, you feel very welcome. The food was fantastic! We had a wonderful meal, and the three-hour wait is more than enough. The desserts were also fantastic and wonderfully fresh. It's a very atmospheric restaurant. It was full, but you didn't notice that at all. The tables were well spaced. There was also nice music playing in the background. The price-quality ratio is also excellent! We will be back soon. Thank you for this wonderful experience, and kudos to all the staff!
