We had dinner here with a group of nearly 20 people after our wedding ceremony. They opened especially for us, which was already a luxury, and we all had a delicious meal! We didn't know beforehand what we would get, but we really enjoyed the taste and how it was presented.

What a treat to dine at Eet Proef en Geniet. Service that pampers you all evening. No effort is too much. Delicious food, unique flavors, and attentive to dietary requirements.

A truly memorable dining experience. Every dish is prepared with great attention to detail, combining delicate techniques with beautifully layered flavors and textures. You can really feel the thought and care behind each plate. Highly recommended — if you happen to pass by, don’t just walk past. Step inside and experience it for yourself.

At this venue, enjoyment in the broadest sense of the word starts at minute 5. Very exclusive, with boundless taste indulgence and an explosion. Top class.

First time visiting, on recommendation. I dined with two other guests who had been there before (and were full of praise). It didn't come anywhere near what I expected. The (half) wine pairing was so meager that there was only a tiny layer left in the glass. The food was very salty and the flavors were disappointing for a bill of well over 300. So, no next visit for me, but it might have been a miss that evening. Don't let that stop you from giving it a try!!

The food was delicious! Exclusive, beautifully presented, and varied. Not cheap! That was also due to the bottles of Cava we ordered. The only downside is that a dessert was included with the menu, and a cheese platter was offered as an alternative. Without mentioning that extra charges apply for this. A full evening's dinner. However, if you have one person with a gluten allergy who chooses a cheese platter, you don't expect a piece of bread containing gluten to be included. Offer an alternative, and don't serve the gluten-free dessert (which was prepared in advance) to someone else at the table. It was also a shame that there was nothing for the gluten-free person with the coffee. I had expected a little more from that.

The concept without a traditional menu immediately won us over: You choose between a four-, five-, or six-course menu and then let yourself be completely surprised. Every single course was superbly coordinated, creative, and absolutely worthy of a Michelin star. You can tell how much passion and skill goes into the kitchen. I'd especially like to commend the exceptionally friendly waiter, who approached each guest with calm, warmth, and attentiveness. He perfectly rounded off the evening and ensured that we felt completely at ease. The young team behind the scenes also did a fantastic job – professional, motivated, and with palpable enjoyment of their work. I'm so glad that chance led us here. This restaurant is a real find, and I will definitely be back on my next visit to the Netherlands. Highly recommended!
