What a cozy and welcoming restaurant! The lunch menu is quite varied, and there's plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans too. Had a delicious lunch! Plenty of privacy and incredibly friendly service. I'll definitely be back!

Yesterday we ate at this fantastic restaurant for the first time. A true asset to the Zaan region! Rick and his team are so welcoming and gave us a fantastic evening. My two children chose the 4-course surprise menu. They got the same as us, but in smaller portions! Absolutely fantastic, it made them feel like they were part of the whole party! Thank you so much!!

First time eating here but definitely not the last time. Delicious food with beautiful presentation. The wine arrangement provided beautiful matching wines. The red was perhaps a bit too warm, they will fix that.

We had received this as a gift. It turned out to be a very big surprise. There is no a la carte but a 3, 4, 5 course chef's menu. We took a five course menu. Allergies or things you absolutely do not like are taken into account. The flavours but also the presentation and order of the dishes are top class here. Matching wines, perfect. With such a menu you do not need to have an a la carte at all. Smart of the chef because he can now concentrate on a limited number of dishes and execute them to perfection. The two (young and modest but very friendly) ladies of the service described the dishes and wines in a good and clear way. And they spoke Dutch, you can't find that in the Randstad. The chef and his sous chef really know what they are doing. We will definitely go back a few more times but then with friends. A culinary feast. It is a mystery to us that they are not yet in a culinary guide. Maybe it is a good thing, a local gem for those who want to enjoy themselves. If this sounds like advertising, it is certainly not intended that way and I am not paid for this review, but this team deserves all the praise.

Just a class restaurant in our own village. We had the 3-course chef's menu and enjoyed it from start to finish. What flavors! Especially the slow-cooked guinea fowl medallions were super tasty. When paying we asked "is it correct, that cheap?? Yes, it is correct... In short, here it is more than good food and stay. Highly recommended!!!!!

Had a delicious lunch here! One of the few places in the Zaan region where you can order Eggs Benedict/Royale and they are really tasty too. The hollandaise sauce was sublime. The wine list is also good with a nice choice of wines from different countries. There is something for everyone! You can also sit outside and inside, we sat outside in the sun on the terrace today. But the interior is also very nicely decorated.

Wat een heerlijk restaurant. Groot terras en binnen mooi en stijlvol. Je kan hier terecht voor een broodje maar ook voor een 4 gangen lunch. Het verrassingsmenu begon met een heerlijke amuse en de vier volgende gerechten waren allemaal van top niveau. Fijne bediening en leuke en goede wijnkaart. Het schijnt hier in de avond druk te zijn maar spring in de trein en ga hierheen voor een toplunch. Hele fijne middag en kom hier zeker terug!

Really great food, 5 courses from a chef who knows his trade. Perhaps I am "old school" and I like a nice ambiance, table linen, comfortable dining chairs and well-trained staff, especially the latter is almost impossible to find today, but despite that, the food is great and we will definitely come back.

In the culinary void of Zaanstreek - Waterland we were very happy with this pearl that is not yet on the menu as "fine dining" and certainly deserves to be. (don't tell anyone else we won't be able to reserve a table later 😄)

After trying every restaurant in our area, I came across this restaurant after some searching. After parking nearby, which is very easy, you enter a beautiful restaurant. It looks clean and tidy and is nicely decorated. You will be greeted immediately and directed to your table. All tables were well filled for a Thursday evening. You don't get much choice in food: 3, 4 or 5 courses. There was some hesitation at the beginning, because you never know what you will get and whether you will like it, but that is not necessary at all. I can already assure you that every course is a pleasure! We also included the wine arrangement. The owner came to our table for each dish to present it and explain it. This was a great experience for us. The wines served with each dish paired well with the dishes and were so tasty that we asked for a photo of each bottle to enjoy again later. Each dish was perfectly balanced and the portions were just right. I'm normally a big eater and expected not to be full after 5 courses, but I was perfectly satiated The owner told everything with so much passion and joy that we got excited with every new course. All in all, this was a great experience, and we will definitely come back here! Keep it up.
