Brasserie Eiggenwijzz in Binnenstad

We came across this restaurant while out for a walk, so we stopped for a coffee and a pastry. And yes, the pastry was absolutely delicious. The staff at Eiggenwijzz are very friendly and helpful, fantastic people.

The food was perfect and the service was very friendly. We've eaten there three times now and everything has been perfect. Keep up the good work and we'll always come back. Thx

An absolute gem of a restaurant. A very extensive menu and an excellent drink selection. A charming atmosphere. A variety of delicious dishes prepared in their own bakery. Also the perfect address for an exquisite high tea. Hospitality and professionalism clearly prevail here. A visit to this acclaimed venue is therefore highly recommended.

Very warm welcome, the staff was very kind and welcoming. A small play area for the children while the meals arrive. The dishes are generous and fresh. I highly recommend

A very cute, simple little brasserie. We ate there as a family of four. The kids had a kids' menu, and we had a burger and soup. Everything tasted great, and the value for money was absolutely fine! The waiters are very friendly, and some of them speak German.

Fantastic breakfast, friendly and attentive service

What incredibly nice and kind people work here! We had lunch here today. Our Labrador was also very welcome and was given a nice drink and snack. Our lunch was delicious and of excellent quality. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Middelburg!

I was there with my wife and our daughter. We had two baked mussels and a bacon pancake. Everything was delicious. The mussels are served with onions and tomatoes. It takes a bit of getting used to, but if you go for it, it's truly something special. We sat on the first floor, which was quieter, but the waiters didn't come around as often.

Lovely café with the kindest employees 🥰. I always go for the scampi kroket with fries and it also comes with sauces🥺. Wish they were open at night. Don't forget to order coffee as well. Keep it up guys.

We came here by chance and went in for lunch. In one word: FANTASTIC! Friendly, fast and knowledgeable service, good food, large portions. Price - quality more than okay. Recommended is 12-o'clock lunch Fish. Good variety, great taste. So much that you can have a whole day ahead of you.

A nice brasserie. We were there just before opening time but were still able to sit down and order. Excellent service. The staff consists partly of people with a disability. They do their job excellently. Definitely deserves a compliment.

So the food is quite okay, the burgers are also quite good but the service is a disaster, they all don't speak English, one of the waiters says he can speak German but he speaks Dutch and they play football with their son all the time IN THE RESTAURANT, you also feel very uncomfortable because everything is black and red bahhh

Funny place! We had a delicious lunch here and all four of us enjoyed it immensely. The hummus sandwich that I had chosen was also very nicely prepared and tasted very good with different types of vegetables and (in my opinion) halloumi. Definitely recommended to eat here.

We eat here very regularly, the menu changes with the seasons, and every time the dishes are perfectly balanced in terms of flavors. The portions are more than sufficient and you still think; Too bad, it's already gone, it's so delicious. The employees here are very well supervised and are all friendly and knowledgeable.

High tea done. And you get a lot. 1st round savory. 2nd round sweet. Great. Thermos of hot water. Has also been replenished. Box with different types of tea. Highly recommended

We are on holiday in Zeeland and we spent a morning in Middelburg. Even though the place was not officially open yet, we were still allowed to sit there. The Brussels waffles are highly recommended and the entire atmosphere is super cozy.

For the first time that I order a roll with grilled vegetables and the vegetables are still warm! So the topping hasn't been sitting for hours before it is served on a delicious brown roll. Highly recommended for a healthy lunch.

We had never heard of Eiggenwijzz and that makes it even better. We were welcomed by Henk and that was in a very good and pleasant manner. Very friendly and we immediately thought 'if only they were so attentive everywhere'. We thought the food was unique, so different than usual. Very tasty and beautifully presented plates. It was only while we were eating that we discovered that it was a special restaurant. We enjoyed it and felt special. This was due to the good service. In our case they were Henk and Vivian. Great restaurant with really dedicated staff with a special concept, which we thought was great. The five of us with strollers just managed to get a table at lunchtime. We would recommend making a reservation if you are coming with large groups. Staff very nice and friendly, we were greeted very nicely at the entrance and shown to the place. Play tables for children available and high chair. We ordered beef burgers and chicken burgers. We've probably eaten better, but we really enjoyed it there. Next time I would try something different, the burgers could be a little juicier and there could be some ketchup. There is a toilet on the first floor, burgers cost around €15, very good value for money.

If I could give 6 stars I would! In one word, TOP!

Pleasant staff and good service

We had an early lunch here and first thing i want to flag is that it is really a kid/family-friendly place with a small corner for kids to play and books to read. The staff were wonderfully helpful and very kind. The food was good and i tried their hot dog and it was really tasty. It is also in the very center of the city so very well located.

Had a delicious lunch at Eiggenwijzz! We were kindly received at the door and were allowed to choose our own table. We were helped quickly and after ordering we didn't have to wait long before we could attack (we were having a fairly late lunch, which must have contributed to that). The portions are large enough, especially for the afternoon! Extra nice: the smoothie contained a plastic-free straw, but it was not made of paper/cardboard. No idea what it's made of, but it tastes so much better to drink than through paper!🙏🏼 The homemade forest fruit monchou cake (cake of the week) was a truly delicious dessert! There are seats on the first floor, as well as the toilet. The American-looking benches are very comfortable.
