We had breakfast at this wonderful place today and were absolutely thrilled! A cozy atmosphere, games to borrow, and a super friendly owner. The food was incredibly delicious (I highly recommend the breakfast smoothie), and you can buy the homemade pastries to go with your coffee for a small price—which we did right away because they were so delicious. We'd love to come back next year 🥰

A warm place with genuine flavor What a wonderful discovery, this coffee shop! The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for: cozy, relaxed, and with an eye for detail. But the highlight? The carrot cake. Honestly: the best I've had in years—creamy, spicy, and perfectly sweet. It also comes with a homemade iced tea so refreshing and full of flavor that you almost forget you're in the Netherlands and not on a sunny terrace somewhere far away. In short: if you're craving something delicious made with love, this is the place to be. We'll definitely be back!

When searching for a good vegan lunch on Google Maps, you're sometimes disappointed. That's not the case at Het Koffiepand!!! Delicious vegan croquettes and well-filled avocado toast. In hindsight, we should have stayed longer to try the vegan pastries. Friendly service, a beautiful and cozy interior in a prime location. We'd love to come back from Ghent to try more. Absolutely recommended.

Nice café. We had a soda and an iced tea. Unfortunately, we can't comment on the other items. The café is located on a small square off the noisy main street.

Delicious lunch. Super cozy place. The menu is (I think) completely vegetarian, and there are many vegan options. The lunch platter was a lot, but recommended if you are very hungry, everything was tasty :)

This is the third time we have eaten here (lunch or piece of cake) and it has been very pleasant every time. We went for the mixed board so you can taste 4 dishes and everything tasted very good! Service is very friendly. Always like to come back here.

As a student, I always enjoyed studying at Het Koffiepand, so when I was looking for a caterer for snacks during my wedding in Middelburg, the choice was quickly made. ;) Het Koffiepand provided all kinds of different snacks (hot & cold) for the party - and completely vegan! Everything was super tasty and we also received compliments from the guests for the delicious food, so it was a complete success. Esther and colleagues, thank you very much and see you next time when I am in Middelburg!

Definitely worth turning on your Google Maps to discover this gem as a tourist (or local). Extremely friendly staff and the food is great.

A very quiet place, good atmosphere, refreshing and 100% recommended, the nachos are delicious and their apple and carrot cake are exquisite. What I liked the most was that they have a children's area and have board games, excellent for spending a different summer afternoon. Without a doubt, I would return!

Good coffee, sweet owner, nice atmosphere. I came here for the first time a few weeks ago, and since then this has been my regular spot, where I come every week for a cup of coffee. With my children (2 and 4) or to work for a day. Everything is possible at the Koffiepand!

I only come here for board game night. But it is extremely cramped. And very noisy when the games are busy. Not accessible by wheelchair. Toilets are upstairs. The chairs and benches are made of wood, I bring my own cushion, it adds atmosphere on the other side. The vegan chai latte and the free piece of cake with your coffee are great! The prices are okay.

Excellent salads, complete and well served. The desserts are a real treat, perfect cheesecake. Excellent value for money. The very good address!

What a nice, picturesque tent. You could just walk past it. Inside you enter a small tent with a cozy atmosphere. My daughter and I sat at the window where we could see a lot of people walking by. The games cupboard is inviting and fits perfectly with the atmosphere there. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and paid with a smile, because the prices were normal for delicious food. If I may mention one point, it is that the service is friendly, but could also be a bit more outreach in asking, for example, whether everything is to your liking. We will definitely come back!

Food was nice. Liked the pancakes although some flavours did not balance as well…maybe cream cheese or something? Location is beautiful but store front is a bit outdated and seemed a little dirty. Furniture could use an update. Less cozy feeling and more felt like a hostile. Servers were Nice but really eager to get our orders when we asked for more time. Overall nice, but would try somewhere else in the area before returning.

Trotz einer anfänglich positiven Erwartung mussten wir ungewöhnlich lange auf unser Essen warten, was die Stimmung etwas gedämpft hat. Das Servicepersonal hat sich nur einmal blicken lassen, und das auch erst, als sie das Essen brachten. Es wäre schön gewesen, zwischendurch eine freundliche und aufmerksame Betreuung zu erhalten. Ein weiterer Aspekt, der zu meiner Bewertung beiträgt, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Portionen waren unerwartet klein, insbesondere im Verhältnis zu den hohen Preisen. Das hat den Gesamteindruck beeinträchtigt und ließ uns mit dem Gefühl zurück, dass das Essen nicht den Wert für sein Geld bot. Es tut mir leid, dass ich keine positivere Bewertung abgeben kann. Ich hoffe, dass das Restaurant in der Zukunft Verbesserungen vornehmen kann, um seinen Gästen eine bessere Erfahrung zu bieten.
