Another delicious meal. Enjoyed the delicious tuna. Delicious beer with it. The ladies had prawns with pasta, a giant hamburger for the youngest, and a massive sparerib. Lovely to sit outside on the patio. This is and always will be highly recommended!

Definitely not recommended. Even though the restaurant was very quiet, we had to wait 40 minutes for our starter. We ordered the "Portion of Diverse Dutch Cheese," which, according to the menu, was supposed to be a selection of different cheeses. We only received a few simple slices of regular Gouda cheese – very disappointing. Then we ordered three burgers and a small pizza for the kids. We had to wait a full 1.5 hours for these! We were with three young children, who naturally became very impatient and restless after such a long wait. None of the staff informed us of the delay or offered an apology. When we tried to discuss this with the owner, he reacted very rudely and even aggressively. He showed no understanding or customer service whatsoever. Poor service, long wait times, and an unprofessional attitude. We will definitely not be returning and absolutely do not recommend this place.

Had a wonderful lunch with friends! The service was incredibly friendly, and the club chicken was delicious! :) We finished off with a Salted Caramel latte. We'd love to come back! 👍🏼

A nice restaurant with a varied menu and delicious food. However, we were sitting on the front terrace, and there was a guest smoking a thick cigar, the smoke of which was wafting across the entire terrace. We (2 people) moved to a table (8 people) where the smoke was the least bothersome. The waitress came to us to tell us that if eight people arrived, we would have to leave the table. We explained why we were sitting there. When paying, my husband said the food was fine, but that a cigar-smoking guest letting the entire terrace enjoy it didn't really contribute to a tasty meal. I brought our complaint to the owner. He laughed it off and said we could sit on the non-smoking terrace at the back. However, that wasn't indicated anywhere, and no one pointed it out to us. Suddenly, there was a non-smoking terrace?? Cozy? Yes, for real smokers. Non-smokers: our cozy time will come when the terraces become smoke-free.

Starter; shrimps in a delicious sauce, steak with mushroom sauce was buttery tender, vegetables and fries. Delicious food.

March '25 Sometimes you find a gem. This is one of those. Selected based on the reviews, which were mixed, but there is a new operator so you can partly reset history. Cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. There are interns, but they are well supervised. You sometimes see that differently. The card is beautifully designed and was new for the summer. Typical brasserie dishes in terms of dishes, but still plenty of choice. The execution by the kitchen was very good. Decent portions (a basket of baguette, not one or two pieces for example. Steak tartare was made very tasty. The raw was replaced by a boiled quail egg. Good and tasty portion of nachos. Furthermore, a schnitzel with plenty of fries and a tasty sauce as well as a decent hamburger with ditto attachments. The Merlot wine is recommended on an otherwise unclear wine list. All in all, a reason to come back and hope that the quality is maintained.

Was hesitating between 2 and 3 stars. The waiting times were too long. Starter took 40 minutes and main course a little longer. That's why I didn't order dessert. Didn't feel like waiting another 45 minutes. The beef carpaccio was ok but the chicken satay was substandard. The chicken had virtually no taste. Aqueous. Probably a floppy chicken. It was quite noisy inside. I couldn't really call it fun.

We ate well, the atmosphere was great and the waiters were very friendly.

Very friendly staff and the food is delicious. We are not from the area otherwise we would definitely come more often. The tenderloin salad is highly recommended and the arretjes cake yes... 👌

Had a delicious meal at a local Brasserie, where it was really fun!

We like to come here for good food and because of the great playground. It also gives the kids something to do while we wait for dinner. Which in my opinion often doesn't take too long. The food has always been very tasty and the prices are average (excellent value for money). The friendliness of the staff is generally good, but we have also had times when the waitresses were unfriendly or seemed disinterested. A bit hit-or-miss in that regard, but otherwise an excellent brasserie.

Food is good (lunch and dinner). Service during the holiday period is a bit slower due to holiday workers, but that is logical. The atmosphere is good and children can play outside. We will definitely come back.

Tasty sandwich Along a fairly busy village road

Ate here today July 14th. We received a very friendly welcome upon entering. We first had a drink and saw the waiters fly by, wow, what a pace. And indeed it was quite busy, but we were served very quickly before we had even finished the first beer and believe me, we don't drink slowly. The food was delicious and plenty of it everything. Still a dessert... yes, they are never cheap, but we did get value for our money. A sotbet that we could just overlook. Super friendly staff who still had time for a chat. Also very important At least I think... the toilets super clean and wonderfully fresh scent. All in all, great location.

Eating again at a nice restaurant. I don't know whether we always come at a time when it is very busy or whether they are often understaffed, but I often notice that the service can take a little longer. Not a problem, they are friendly and do their best! The food is simple but tasty. It is not a culinary masterpiece and it does not have to be for the prices they offer it. Always has a pleasant atmosphere!

The owner is acting strange, when Jr. comes in without greeting he says: "What name are you under?" Then he points to a table as if everything is reserved. It was just free. Tip: provide a container with buckets and shovels, many people come here because the playground is located near the terrace.

Little hidden paradise. Were in the area for a night, came here via Google. A bit hesitant due to mixed reviews, but the food was really delicious. We spent €110 with starter, main and dessert. So a reasonable price. Relaxed atmosphere and nice service. Loved that there was no rush. Staff left you alone but if you needed them they were nearby. The chef came to ask if everything was all right and if everyone had enjoyed their meal. They forgot ice, but they quickly arranged it after a question, so it was great. We were having such a nice chat that we didn't realize we were the last ones. The staff was just cleaning up at the back without you feeling like you had to go home. It's wonderful that you had and could take all the time you needed. And so they didn't look away. The only disadvantage is that it is a 1.5 hour drive for us 😂😂 but as soon as I am in the area I will definitely go back!

Make a reservation at half past six and eat at a quarter past seven. Had to ask for everything except drinks, which was asked every 10 minutes. Had to ask 3 times where our food was. Management will argue with you if you ask why it is taking so long. My steak was ultra rare while I asked for medium. Miss after miss. The worst thing is that the owner reacts rudely when you talk to him about it. A shame for the catering industry, this man. NEVER again at brasserie Ongezellig.

Very unfortunate experience in a restaurant that certainly did not live up to its name on this evening. Waiting a disproportionately long time for a main course and if you make a polite, calm comment about it only to get into discussion and receive a downright rude and inhospitable answer, then you really don't understand why you ever started a catering business. Cold, distant experience that ruined the evening to a large extent. Not recommended unfortunately, especially by ignoring almost all principles of hospitality and conviviality.

It is an unpleasant brasserie, we had been waiting for an hour and 35 minutes for our food and the people who came much later had their food much earlier and the food itself was not tasty. We indicated this 3 times and the first time the excuse was "you guys had received a starter "the people who came much later had their food much earlier and so they also had a starter. Secondly, the owner came and asked if we wanted a dessert and we said:" yes, we have doubts about that because it took a very long time" the answer was: "yes that is possible" I think that is very rude and the third time we left and then we had a quick chat with the owner about what we had said before etc. And he immediately responded to that discussion again. I wouldn't go here because it's not worth it, it ruined our "nice dinner out". Rating for everything: 1 (it seems that we are very impatient and not neat, but we have calmly stated this and we get a brutal answer that we think is unacceptable) and it is not worth your money! And he was the only one who had a rude mouth towards us and he talked to us much louder (in a rude way) it's not worth it, rather eat at home!

Het eten is heerlijk. De sfeer wordt echter danig verpest door de chagrijnige houding van de eigenaar. Lomp, kortaf en geeft je het idee dat hij er helemaal geen zin in heeft. Ik ben minder valide, en blijkbaar stond ik teveel in de weg bij het binnenhalen van de voorraden. Ramt mij zonder pardon met een krat opzij. Geen sorry, pardon. Mij zullen ze hier niet meer zien.

Wat ‘n verschil in reviews!? Wij hebben er onlangs gegeten en kunnen/willen het volgende delen. De horeca etiquette vwb bediening is hier niet uitgevonden maar desondanks was het uiterst sympathiek en vriendelijk. Het is tenslotte geen sterrenrestaurant. M’n partner en ik gingen voor de hertenbiefstuk en kogelbiefstuk. Het is dat we voor het eten geen 10 sterren kunnen geven. Het was werkelijk maar dan ook absoluut uitmuntend!!! In tijden hadden wij niet zo lekker biefstuk gegeten. Hebben dit ook heel duidelijk gemaakt en de kok de hand geschud, echt Wauw!!!! Kortom, het eten was voortreffelijk. Gezellige tent en n leuke hond hebben ze ook ;-)

Lekker en royaal eten in gezellige gelegenheid, snelle service en makkelijk parkeren.

Afgeschermde buitenspeelterrein voor de kinderen. Leuk om te borrelen. Qua eten is zeer eenvoudig. Hou het volgende in de gaten als je hier gaat eten: Bediening verliest al snel het overzicht met gevolg dat er diner bestellingen vergeten worden, incompleet zijn of bij een verkeerde tafel aankomen. Bij het aanspreken moet je het doen met een “sorry” of “het is druk”.

Hebben hier wat gedronken op het terras. Vriendelijke bediening. Gezellige ongedwongen sfeer.

Hebben buiten gezeten, minigolf gedaan met daarna diner. Minigolf banen waren verouderd, maar goed te doen.Het eten was ontzettend lekker en de porties waren groot. Personeel was vriendelijk.

Heerlijk gegeten hier! Borden zijn mooi opgemaakt, net een stapje extra door bijvoorbeeld groente chips en een soort spinazie quiche erbij te leggen. Echt een compleet gerecht. Het vlees pannetje is zeer aan te raden, heel erg lekker! Bediening was gewoon prima, niet speciaal maar gewoon goed. Leuk dat je bij een koffietje een likeurtje krijgt!

Wat een geweldige zaak is dit , goed eten en een goede service!

Lekker geluncht, als tussenstop tijdens een fietstocht. Buiten op terras gezeten. Was rustig. Lekker gegeten en ook heerlijke drankjes op de kaart. Aanrader!

Vaak heerlijke burgers. Vooral de surf en turf! De laatste keer was deze alleen wel zo super heet. En dan jammer, als je er iets van zegt, zeggen ze: Was hij in elk geval niet flauw. Nou ik zeg er niet voor niks iets van.... Maat van mij had een frietje met die saus geproefd, en had hier 10min later nog last van. Just saying.

Het restaurant doet zijn naam eer aan. Het is een gezellig restaurant,het eten was heerlijk,de sfeer is heel gemoedelijk. Een dikke verdiende 10.

I had the best burger I’ve had in a long time. So far, the best burger of the summer. The meat was amazing. Perfect fries. And the waitress was super nice. The kitchen was closing, but they still made me this amazing meal. 24 hours later and I’m still enjoying it.

Een erg fijn restaurant met super vriendelijke medewerkers. Wordt goed voor je gezorgd, lekker eten, hebben tijd voor een praatje en de kids kunnen lekker spelen in de speeltuin waar je op uit kijkt. Kinderstoelen aanwezig. Ja, komen hier 100% zeker terug.

Op uitnodiging geweest op een feest 🥳 Mooie locatie met vriendelijk personeel en goede service. Het koud- en warmbufet was overheerlijk.

Waren en route, even afgeslagen. Ondanks late aankomst nog bediend. Topsfeer, lekker eten, ook voor vegatariër. Wat een leuke plek! Zaten buiten op terras. Had zelf het visstoofpotje, zálig, mijn vrouw de asperges.

Leuk voor de kinderen, die kunnen lekker spelen terwijl wij rustig tafelen. Het eten was prima, niet hoogstaand.
