Oh we will be back here. We fell across this restaurant accidently. Packed on a Friday lunchtime. Friendly and efficient service. Fabulous atmosphere and food. Very extensive French inspired but Dutch twist menu. Loved it! Just left and already told all our Estec colleagues about it. Its just up the road. Merci beaucoup team.

Extremely cozy. Beautiful location, beautiful building. Well taken care of. The food was incredibly delicious. The vegetables, the meat, and the side dishes all had their own distinct and good flavor. It is clear that a lot of attention is paid to this. The hospitality was amazing. Very informal and friendly. Definitely worth it!

Nice place. It's a cozy place to sit and the food is good. I'm giving 4 stars because I once got three 40-euro vouchers. They made a mistake; only 40 euros were debited instead of 120. I found out when I got home. I went to pay the 80 euros; they did thank me, but I would have appreciated a voucher for a drink :).

BY FAR! The best spare ribs in Katwijk and the surrounding area.

We had to sit outside with children, even though there were free tables available. We also had to wait an hour for our food. The staff were rather unfriendly. We won't be coming back.

And yet, 4 stars.... We visited there for the first time, and it certainly won't be the last. The photos truly reflect reality: a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and pleasant, correct, and approachable service. The menu is fine, and the portions are truly generous. The quality standards are definitely met; the food coming out of the kitchen is delicious. So why 4 and not 5 stars.... People who arrived later than us and also ordered multiple courses were served their dishes sooner, and upon inquiry, we were helped quickly. But that must have been an isolated incident and certainly no reason to stay away. This brasserie is highly recommended. Generous portions, delicious food, and good value. Do make a reservation....

Today it was "Brasserie Havenkwartier" in Katwijk aan Zee's turn to visit. I had already seen online that my favorite lunch item, Fried Egg with Ham and Cheese on Bread, was on the menu, so that was exactly what I did. Parking my car was no problem; there are plenty of free parking spaces available. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a delicious meal, the chicken livers among other things were delicious. Service top-notch, until next time.

We went here for dinner before Soldaat van Oranje. This was taken into account perfectly. The food was truly fantastic and delicious! The service was also excellent. A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with truly top-quality food. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal. Good quality fish, but also meat. Large portions. You don't go home hungry, but well-filled.

Went there with a small group and ending up ordering mixed lunch and dinner items and all were very good. Especially loved the sweet potato fries. The rest was better then 4/5 but not 5/5 but there was no option to give it 4.5/5 so hence the 5/5. Prices were fair and the atmosphere in the lunchcrowd was very good. Well worth a few more extra visits.

Great food and very good service

I made the trip from Noordwijk to Katwijk for lunch one time, and this time not even somewhere on the boulevard or similar, but at Brasserie Havenkwartier. A lovely place, high ceiling and nicely decorated with lots of wood and Chesterfield-style green sofas. A beautiful long bar with a semi-open kitchen. Nice right away. But quite busy, no reservation, so I tried asking a waitress if there was a spot available. That took a while because they were busy settling the bill. Eventually got a nice table by the window. A decent selection on the menu. The choice of craft beers is also fine. I chose the club sandwich, a hot meat roll, and for me, a pasta carpaccio. For the latter, I had no idea what to expect. A little later, three well-filled plates arrived. All equally tasty. The pasta carpaccio is actually a carpaccio with pasta (salad) on top. Not at all what I thought it was. But very tasty with a piece of salty toast on top. The portion of fries I ordered along with it was deliciously crispy with a huge amount of mayo. All of this, combined with a Zundert beer, made for a very successful lunch.

We ordered a warm meat sandwich and a tuna melt. Both dishes were truly delicious. We were also very pleased with the friendly service. However, we had a table near the door, which is a real turn-off when it's cold. Also, people are smoking near the front door. We recommend booking a table in advance in the restaurant far from the door.

Eaten here for the first time. Generous portions and good service. The shrimp croquettes were served with a small bowl of homemade Russian salad. The latte macchiato was also enhanced with water, a cookie, coffee beans, and coffee liqueur. Good value for money

The food was fine, but what a bland affair. With your main course, you get a small bowl of potatoes and fries. A strange combination. No other vegetables or salad. Would you like mayonnaise with the fries? Yes, please. €1.50 extra on the bill. A small bowl of salad €4. What a disgrace.

Always pleasant and a warm welcome! I wanted a small change to the midday snack menu: salmon instead of ham and a shrimp croquette instead of a meat croquette. It was no problem at all. Gerco took care of it! Fantastic!

We had a wonderful meal here. There were 15 of us, and despite that, we were able to order from the menu. And all courses were served at once. The kitchen definitely deserves a compliment.

We ate here for the first time tonight, and it was incredibly good!!!😋👍🏼 We went to see the musical "Soldaat van Oranje" (also highly recommended🥰) and were stuck in a traffic jam. We called the restaurant, and they were kind enough to accommodate us. We received a warm welcome, the food was served quickly, and the staff was more than friendly. We had a set menu with carpaccio, beef skewers, and Parisian cream puffs for dessert. They were even kind enough to wrap up the dessert because some of us couldn't finish it. This set menu is highly recommended; you really get your money's worth, more than that! What a cozy atmosphere and, once again, what incredibly good food!!!😍 Praise to all the staff there💕☺️💕 We will definitely go back, even if it's just to enjoy it again 👍🏼😊

We made a reservation in advance and arrived punctually. The restaurant was full. No table was available. The manager asked us to wait and left us standing in the hallway, still wearing our coats. After a good five minutes, two tables became available, and then it turned out there were even more people waiting for a table at the bar. They had to be seated first. Because the waiters were constantly having to squeeze past us, I asked how long it would take. The manager rather arrogantly replied that a table would become available soon. A glance around the restaurant showed people either eating or waiting to be served. So, no table was available. After fifteen minutes, we left, disappointed. We were particularly irritated by the manager's arrogant attitude and the fact that we were left standing in the aisle. So inhospitable. Apparently, they don't have their processes under control, or they don't take reservations into account.

Last Saturday, we had a delicious meal at this cozy restaurant. We were late making a reservation but were still offered a (great) spot at the bar. A cozy corner seating arrangement: a great spot and a nice solution. This restaurant is 100% recommended. Fantastic!!

The bar had a unique and trendy vibe. We were greeted enthusiastically and shown to a lovely table. The cocktails were original and full of flavor, beautifully finished. The music perfectly matched the atmosphere and created a festive feel. The staff worked quickly but remained consistently friendly. This was one of the most enjoyable evenings I've had in a long time.

Arrived without a booking which probably isn’t the best action but it was close to our campsite so dropped in. Think we were quite lucky to get a table as it quickly filled. All of our course were excellent from the Parma ham with melon to ribeye steak to choux pastry with ice cream/cream. Definitely have the service/food/atmosphere nailed. Good food good value, throughly enjoyed and will return

We had another delicious meal with our colleague Peter de Luc. The food was fantastic, with a view of the kitchen where a team of enthusiastic chefs prepares the food. The atmosphere is great, and the service is top-notch. We'll definitely go back, or maybe even more.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch. Gluten-free options were available, and everything was fantastic. Due to my grandmother's visual impairment, we asked if the sole could be served filleted. It was no problem, and the staff handled it so well. Fantastic place!

Beautiful restaurant with delicious dishes and desserts. The steak "Brasserie" is truly delicious! Excellent wines on the menu. The house wine (by the glass) is excellent, both red and white.

Last week I bought a gift voucher of €150.00. You would think that it would be nicely wrapped or presented with more enthusiasm. None of this….. Look, I really understand that when it is busy there is little to no time to arrange something like this. But then just say “sorry, we do not or cannot decorate the voucher nicely”. I was so astonished that I paid, left and made something nice with the voucher myself. 5 minutes of work….

Brasserie Havenkwartier A nice place to sit. The interior is stylish, neat and cared for in detail. The coffee is served with attention, complete with a liqueur, a glass of water and a few chocolate coffee beans - a nice extra. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food was on the table quickly. All in all a pleasant experience.

We looked for a restaurant on the way home because otherwise it would be too late for our children. The flower parade was in Noordwijkerhout so we drove on and passed by here. We had a delicious meal! The children had a very extensive children's menu and our food was delicious and more than enough. Decent price for what you get. Very friendly staff and didn't have to wait long. We definitely recommend this restaurant!
